“if you’re going to do it, just.. just do it!” riddle exclaimed, embarrassed and exasperated. floyd just grinned at him, smug and toothy, as he wiggled his fingers towards the other, almost mockingly. riddle closed his eyes, nerves aflame, before the tingly sensation that he was expecting to feel seemed to pull away just as it began to graze his skin.

riddle peeked one eye open, before raising a brow, almost in disbelief.

“you’re so funny, goldfishie!” floyd chuckled to himself, looking way too entertained for riddle’s taste. again, floyd continued that motion— wiggling his fingers and pulling away at the last second, until it was evident that riddle wasn’t going to fall for it.

“you’re just teasing me at this point! are you not going to do it at all?” riddle asked, crossing his arms, eyeing the much taller one in suspicion.

“do what?”

“you know what!” riddle sputtered, face hot. this time, a content smirk adorned floyd’s features, as he leaned forward, towering over riddle more.

“oh, you want me to?” floyd asked, beaming.

riddle looked away, not agreeing but not exactly denying it either..

when riddle looked up, then back at floyd’s hands, which started moving again. riddle frowned at it.

even though he knew floyd wouldn’t do it, seeing how he had barely touched him the last few minutes, he couldn’t help feel a bit nervous as his hands slowly got closer and closer towards his torso.

then they paused, about to pull away, and riddle sighed, slowly. of cour—

“GAH!” riddle cried, feeling contact as floyd began to spider his fingers across his stomach. “nohoho, stahahap!”

“hehe, guess i did know, afterall, huh?” floyd teased, after not stopping and riddle groaned through his laughter. this tease…!

never gonna get tired of Aabria and Brennan playing dnd together, they know each other so well, they are so fun, they're clearly having so much fun ''does Evan have a grenade??'' And that's just this episode, but there's so many little moments in all of their campaigns that really read as ''I will fuck you up <3'' ''I know and I am walking into it with open eyes <3'' from both of them, never hold any punches, because they know the other one doesn't want them to, just. Inflicting emotional damage on each other for funsies is a love language I guess?

episode 100, mr raven what the fuck

obviously since i'll be talking about episode 100 i'm going to just put it out there that if you haven't read episode 100 yet then do not read this. then again, this is all in vague reference to the episode and i'm mostly just using bits and pieces to back up my previous idea.

(this is taken from ep 99 pls chill i'm not dishing out spoilers)

anyways, if we continue to ep 100, we see MORE EVIDENCE FOR THAT WIERD DEER THING BEING THEO.

"and for you, especially" shouts to me specifically about this. as previously stated, i have the most insane and stupid thought that the weird deer-monster-bone-tree thing from episode one (you know what i'm talking about), is theo's spectre.

as stated before, the most compelling evidence i have for this is the fact that theo was known to hunt deer a lot, and the thing we see in episode one looks a lot like a deer skull, just with loads of red eyes placed into the cracks and such. and we know from the first episode that it seemed to flock towards lenore and annabel. or at least i think it sort of seems to go towards them.

and you, know i could've been wrong– except look at this from ep 100:

now, obviously the first part practically proves the fact something is following lenore, and that this something is (potentially!!!) theo's spectre. but i think what proves it more is what mr raven says next.

someone on tumblr (i cannot remember who) pointed out that annabel and lenore's like fates are almost reversed? and how lenore who once had nothing to loose now has everything, and annabel is vice versa. and you know, first of all, amazing take. delicious. fantastic. whoever this was, please please please make yourself known to me pookie i'm gna worship the ground you walk on because you've given me thoughts !!!

from this "second shadow" talk, i wonder if the idea of reversal spreads through more than just lenore and annabel's relationship. in life, theo was the star violinist whilst lenore was the accompanist, the piano player.

musically, lenore was his shadow.

of course, this is a very generalised take. as somebody who plays both piano and flute, i'm not going to go out and say that the piano player is just background noise when it's a duet, but more often then not the piano stands aside so that the violin (in these situations) can shine.

n life, lenore lives behind theo's shadow, and when he dies she's haunted by it.

when she looks in the mirror, she sees theo as she cuts her hair. she sees him everywhere. in his life, she was the the dark shadow that loomed– but in death he always behind her, always the dark looming figure that follows her. her guilt binds with his memory and forms that dark looming thought that nobody wants to discuss.

and so, to me, it makes perfect sense that this little deer-tree-bone-monster thing is theo.

but then, obviously, as i look at all of this, there is the glaring question of why in the first episode this monster looked like it really wanted to chomp on lenore and annabel's limbs. and you know, typically, siblings don't want to cannibalise each other.

i see your point, and i respond back with these three panels:

lenore goes on to explain that their bloodline has been plagued by madness, misfortune and death. then, take a look at what the raven says of how spirits "oft" are "driven to madness" by their desire for souls.

i think this connects, because idk i just think it does. could be totally wrong, but i think (???) theo (???) somehow escaped to try get back to lenore and go to the threshold (???) but got trapped in that spooky place, and his only defence left was his spectre (???) and so, by staying in it too long, he too was "driven to madness" which probably wasn't helped by the vandernacht curse (???). he might be half forgotten in his own mind, but he knows one thing right now: he wants to find lenore, his sister. he might not remember her as his sister, but he knows her name and an image is there in her mind. so when she arrives, he must get to her.

anyways guys, that's it. ignore me. i yap a lot. i know i don't know a lot and i'm sure there's a few fastpassers out there who are laughing because i'm being silly, but let me delude myself :)

I was recently driving up Highway 1 from Santa Cruz on a very rainy night, and this song popped up. It was a perfect moment. Probably one of the most unlikely one-hit wonders, with Lee Marvin delivering his vocals in a very low, croaking voice with Nelson Riddle's score behind him on the soundtrack to Paint Your Wagon.

the thing about overblotting that no one tells you is that you become very, very tired afterwards.

riddle lays in bed, groans as he pulls the blanket further around himself. the aching has faded, at least, but all he wants to do anymore is sleep. he hates it; it's hard enough struggling not to close his eyes throughout the day, even worse with the irritating looks of pity that the other students give him. he squeezes his eyes shut and tightens his grip. at least it's nighttime now.

there's a tiny squeak beside him. "ow. you're crushin' me."

riddle hums, letting his hold loosen up, giving epel the chance to squirm and get comfortable. the other boy stretches a little, then cuddles right back into riddle's side. riddle puts his arms around epel's waist, hiding his face in the soft mess of lavender hair.

riddle's not much of a hugger, but he finds he welcomes touch anyway. especially with epel, it seems; it's as if his stress melts away instantly. epel is warm and soft and comfortable and riddle never wants to leave.

"cut it out," mumbles epel, tone higher-pitched than usual. riddle finally blinks open his eyes, snapping out of his thoughts. he rubs his thumb along epel's side, making him shiver. "hey."

it hits riddle, suddenly, that he's a stranger to tickling. no one's ever tried to tickle him before, and he's never been close enough to anyone to try it. but there's something about epel that makes him feel giddy, playful, and he can't resist the urge to dance his fingers across epel's stomach.

epel gasps and covers his mouth with one hand, muffling his sudden torrent of giggles. "wait, cohohome on—!" he whines, his free hand uselessly fighting riddle's.

riddle feels himself smile. "please, be quiet. the queen of hearts strictly forbids laughter after ten pm." it's a lie, of course, but who is epel to argue?

so the pomefiore boy laughs and hiccups into his sleeve, kicking weakly in protest. there's no other word for it but cute, despite however much he tries to deny it. it makes riddle's heart swell almost painfully, in a way he hasn't felt in a long time.

(epel tells him later that he's not allowed to cuddle him anymore—but that's a lie, too.)

since riddle was never exposed to tickling when he was a child, he was always curious about what it felt like. like, he’s read about it, heard about it, etc, but just couldn’t imagine HOW it could make someone laugh. afterall, it sounds so absurd. which makes total sense.

it wasn’t until he started hanging out with chenya and trey that he finally learned what it was like. chenya had been the one to poke him in the side first. riddle had jumped, sputtered, giggled, and jsut reaxted like how any ticklish person would and riddle was like,, what was that?? chenya had simply told him he was curious and trey was like “oh, youre ticklish, huh?” and suddenly it made SO MUCH sense. THATS what tickling was like, and now that he had a taste of it, he was curious about more. being actually tickled and tickling someone. thankfully, being friends witb the two, he did in fact experience those

when he arrived at nrc, it didnt happen as much but trey seemed to notice that riddle didnt exactly hate tickling. as he got older he tried to hide it, but he didnt hate iy. maybe wasnt as interested as when he was younger, but it was more neutral. trey would like to poke him to get his attention and such.

trey is ticklish but maybe would prefer to be tbe ler, or at least let it be equal. he’s like, teh nonchalant tickler HELPP so like, usually won’t go very far, not more than a poke to tbe side or something small like that, but well, he still does it to like most of heartslabyul and his friends outside of heartslabyul, but is like totally casual abt it so sometimes ppl wonder if they should even bring it up

cater is pretty ticklish. he has a love-hate relationship of it. i thjnk he enjoys tickling people, but doesnt do it much because HE doesnt particularly ENJOY getting tickled and he doesnt want them to like, retaliate. he doesnt hate it but his sisters loved tickling hjm when he was younger so it kinda left a bad taste in his mouth. basically, he usually will only have a good time if its someone he knows well and is comfortable with and he knows theh wont push him to the brink. he doesnt like to laugh uncontrollably i feel like. eitherway, he def tickles others the same exact way bc he doesnt want them to feel the same way he does about it.

he doesnt mind gentle tickles at all, but again, ws long as he’s with the right people. i feel like with a partner, he would actyally really love tickles while they r cuddling. super cute, yes.

deuce didnt get tickled a lot, at least not until he entered nrc. never really had any feelinfs towards it. he hated it when he was younger, became more neutral about it when he grew up. he would definitely defend someone if they thought it was embarrassing. “everyones ticklish! nothing to be ashamed of!”

this actually leads to him getting tickled about half the time😭😭 because everyone loves to tickle the first year students (i would too). super embarrassed? yes. super awkward? yes. hates it? nope!! prob would be blushing and all but never have any complaints

ace, on tbe other hand, did get tickled a lot when he was younger and that did not change upon his arrival to nrc. i dont know how to describe it, he just radiates those vibes. also i frel like he was more of the “popular” guys in middle school (he peaked in middle school just kidding) but he was prob the one his frienfs liked to gang up on and tickle

doesnt PARTICULARLY seek out being tickled but will ALWAYS join in if one of his friends is being tickled in front of him with the most sadistic smile on his face. he js evil, do not let urself be tickled by him (or do maybe).

trey just kinda lets it happen, until he doesnt. yea hes ticklish but rarely does he lose unless he lets it happen on purpose. (until u get his back, then he’s done for) riddle and cater know this pretty well, ace and deuce have yet to find out. whenever they come close, trey quickly turns the tables LOL

My headcanons for their sexuality!

Severus Snape- I can see his being bicurious with a heavy female lean. Only one man has ever caught his attention, but that's a secret for another day.

Remus Lupin- MFer is your gay coded yet somehow straight uncle. Definitely has kissed a dude before but it wasn't his thing. I can see him leaning a bit closer to demisexual and closet bi.

Sirius Black- gay

Fred Weasley- bisexual ass bitch. He never came out though. Not caus he was scared, just cause he doesn't see the point. If he marries a dude, hus family will know. If not, they won't. Oh well.

George Weasley- unlike his twin, he's just an ally.

Mattheo Riddle- Omnisexual and in denai

Tengen Uzui- Pansexual Hypersexual Polyamorous. I think it fits him. I've always seen him as pan, dunno why.

another of my favorite things from riddle of ages was the sticky is hot now gag it is so funny to me not least because like. that joke can get so tired it is normally such a tired thing to pull. but not only did they pull it with the exact right character—it would've been strange and not honestly no good with any of the rest of them tbh—the way it was executed was so simple and sweet like. it was only mentioned a few times, and it was done in the same way as all their little gags—the most important point was the camaraderie, and for everyone to be a little silly. the point wasn't that sticky was actually hot it was that he was a little embarrassed about his very handsome new glasses, and the other kids were a little surprised that he's hot now, and they thought it was so funny that people in his life kept talking about this that they picked it up and decided to be silly about it. it read the exact same tone-wise as the crossing their eyes thing, which I also adored, not least because it happens so unconscionably often to me and my siblings. anyways I just thought that was so fun
