I think the same could be said when learning a new language:

beginner level - all shit and giggles, so ez u could learn from cutie flashcards;

intermediate level - shit abt to go down, now u learn more abstract words that even flashcard don't work out, gotta write gotta speak to keep your brain up;

advanced level - wtf are those symbols, I don't even know shit. why do I choose to learn this crap

But heyy everything works out eventually so keep working, keep manifesting

to language learners: keep that streak, u r making progress, don't lose determination to writers: keep cooking, stirring that potion like a wizard u r

A rather silly concept.

To learn to speak, young Cybertronians repeat literally everything said around them. They understand words due to their inherent language packs, but speaking is a whole other animal. So to learn how to make the words sound right, they copy words from others until it makes sense. For this reason, higher caste newbuilds are prone to not being able to say curses simply because they've never heard them spoken aloud. For that same reason, lower caste newbuilds are fluent in swears but can't pronounce more scientific words to save their lives.

Additional humor comes in the form of these newbuilds wandering around, serving as a living echo system that pranksters love to abuse. Even the newbuilds themselves aren't all that happy about the mimicry but they can't help it when they are fresh and some bored bot rolls through yelling out a sentence just to listen to a group of freshies repeat it like a turkey gobbling.

Friendly reminder that the suffering and torment Xie Lian experienced actually made him LESS kind, and the lessons he learned as a result of that pain were that human life is meaningless and compassion is worthless and people don't deserve your help or care or love for them. Xie Lian had to backtrack and reject these new lessons in favor of the old ones he had already known in order to return to being kind.

Xie Lian losing everything he loved and knew, being stripped of his power, autonomy, safety, and community, and being ridiculed and humiliated, did not teach him anything worth knowing. He did not learn any valuable or important lessons from it. In fact, he needed to consciously decide that he wasn't going to let it change him and work to go back to the person he was before all that shit happened in order to avoid turning evil.

There are 91 units in section 3 of Duolingo Japanese 🍡🍙

I'm on unit 21, which means => 70 more units to go. Okay I'm on a mission to skip classes cuz y'know, duolingo is slow af (which is good to me cuz im a dumbass).

But still i wanna speed things up a lil bit (i need to be on N3 already so 🫤)

70/2 = 35

I'm gonna get to unit 35 this week (hopefully tomorrow)
