Honestly the worst thing about being raised by and around professors is that I can't really do the whole students bitching about professors thing even when I mostly agree with it, because my whole life I have been hearing the professor's side of the story. Every time someone talks about how ridiculous mandatory attendance or participation is there's a part of me that starts loudly protesting about how actually being in class is really important for learning, and it must be so hugely frustrating for the professor when students just don't show up to your class half the time and then when they do show up they're playing sudoku on their computer.

sakurai seems like the type of guy to get so absorbed in his work he forgets he has like. bodily needs to take care of. like he just focuses too hard and then suddenly starts taking hunger damage

Gosh, yeah I absolutely get that impression too… I feel Sakurai puts the most effort in surface level upkeep, making sure he’s presentable to others and able to do his job, but stuff like needing to eat is more of a necessary nuisance than anything. Living on his own in Claw, I imagine he’s probably taught himself basic cooking stuff to get by but it’s just the bare minimum to keep himself going.

Even in regards to something basic as food he’d probably get bitter in the context of never sharing a meal with others, never having someone to teach him, etc etc. Thinks about making something, ends up working himself up into a bad mood for the rest of the day, gets onigiri at a convenience store instead.

Sakurai def had a lot of personal stake in Claw’s mission—I think he clung to its vision of the future as hard as he could to avoid getting swamped by his current, bleak present. Even after leaving the organization, I could see some of his bad habits definitely still lingering. Like man, Claw gets taken down and it feels like mere days later he already has the interview at Smilemart lined up. His work was the backbone of his life for so long I don’t think he really knows what to do with himself when he doesn’t have that. And in that vein, tries to avoid idleness whenever he can.

i havent consumed MEDIA in for ever..... no tv or movie or book series in OVER A YEAR !!!.although i still listen to music of course on my own...so wat is there left to blog about? well beautiful pictures and funny things of course ... but i have lost touch with my dearest INTERNET FRIENDS i fear...!!!!!!!!perhaps this is a sign of me maturing (FINALLY) but i do love the bisexuals i keep in my computer.</3

OH I LOVE IT!!!!!!!! it's a lot of fun for some reason!! very fascinating, i especially love simple math that has a rhythm to it, very relaxing to do!!! robin thinks i am crazy but he just doesn't get it like us nerds do..... NERD FIST BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
