I'm very annoyed with myself.

so, I always said I hated tea. tea is medicine and it's usually bitter and or gross. or tastes like seasoning. the only one I liked was lemongrass tea (sweetened).

then I woke up feeling nauseous from the anti-inflammatory pills I'm taking it, and my grandmother just throw peppermint tea at me. I didn't want to drink because it smells like seasoning, but I'm not going to argue with a 70yo lady who cures everything with plants. she even let me sweeten it. and I apparently like peppermint tea. she's now looking rather smug at me

PVZ Fever!: Roof

The roof plants! I knew that for this I'd be using Flower Pot for the background multiple times, so I decided to go ahead and give her multiple faces. It was fun switching between them all hehe.

I initially wanted to kinda personalize the pult brothers in particular. I was gonna give Kernel some glasses, but that didn't really pan out, and I had no clue what to do for Melon besides making him look mean (I personally see Melon Pult as a bully-ish type), so that's why Cabbage has the bandaid. Since he's the youngest I see him as a bit of a rambunctious daredevil.

Mum’s cooked this pot of Braised Pork Belly with shiitake mushrooms and garlic cloves. She also steamed some Lotus Leaf Buns (荷叶包) or Gua Bao (刈包) to wrap the braised meat. Had two of these sandwiches for dinner to which I also added a few slices of pickled daikon.
