A Little Catholic Calendar Math for March 1959

Something I can't believe I didn't do earlier, especially regarding my book of revelation post (here) is the calendar math on the Creel murders for both Henry and Edward.

Specifically, I want to talk about Easter of 1959.

As we know, Edward's murders occurred late on March 21st, 1959, and the bodies were discovered the next morning: March 22nd, 1959.

Can we guess what that Sunday was? Anyone?

It was Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday being when Jesus enters Jerusalem, marking the beginning of Holy Week.

It also happens to be the day Edward would have officially been entered into HNL.

Interestingly, the Saturday before Palm Sunday is known as Lazarus Saturday, as it marks the day when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead as proof that he would be resurrected when the time came.

Now, as we also know, the Creel boys ended up in a week-long coma:

That next Saturday is Holy Saturday, also known as Black Saturday or Easter Vigil...

Edward, then, would have woken up on Easter Sunday:

...making his story an altered version of the resurrection of Christ.

That was Edward. Now, let's talk about Henry.

Henry's murders took place the night of Wednesday, March 25th, 1959, and the bodies were discovered the next day: Thursday, March 26th, 1959.

Holy Wednesday and Holy Thursday respectively.

What's so special about Holy Wednesday?

Holy Wednesday, also known as Spy Wednesday, is the day that Judas betrayed Jesus.

The bodies, then, were discovered on Holy Thursday, the last mass before Easter.

Then Henry, like Edward, has his coma. However. This seven-day coma means that Henry does not wake up on Easter Sunday.

He wakes up on April Fools.

He's a false Christ. He's not the droid we're looking for.

None of these dates line up again until...you guessed it: 1986

Chrissy dies on March 21st, Friday of Sorrows. She's found on March 22nd, Lazarus Saturday. Fred dies on Lazarus Saturday. Max is cursed on March 23rd, Palm Sunday. Patrick dies on March 25th, Holy Tuesday. Max falls into a coma on March 27th, Holy Thursday. The full gang meets up after the 2 day jump: March 29th, Black Saturday.

Season 5 will pick up after March 30th: Easter Sunday, 1986.

All of this corroborates what I've been saying since March: We've got a holy trinity, but it's not the one you think it is.

As I laid out in my Book of Revelation post, Edward/Vecna/001 has a frankly insane amount of Catholic God coding.

Here are some highlights, if you don't want to read the entire thing:

Our Holy Trinity, in Stranger Things, is likely Edward, Brenner, and the Shadow. Christ the Son, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit.

And all of this...with Henry and El as false/failed Christs, scapegoats for the real deal (see: El being blamed for both One and Vecna's murders, when in fact she's been standing against both the entire time).

This post also serves as my retraction re: Will as Christ. (Gasp! James retracting a statement? Say it ain't so...) I'd like to send the statement in another direction, because this isn't me saying that Will is unimportant. While, in my opinion, Will is not a part of our big Holy Trinity...I personally see him as a prophet, much like St. John of Patmos, rather than one of the Big 3. That's not to say I'm staunchly against him as a Christ figure, but it just doesn't hit quite right for me anymore.

potential love interest : cipher has been on the run for about 25 years out of the 29 years he's been alive, so there are many possibilities as to how they could have met. this would be the first and only person who awakened in him the feeling closest to love - an urge that not even he himself understands where it comes from and constantly struggles with it. even though he knows the risks, he cannot avoid staying close to this character and has a certain sense of protection and devotion towards them.

DAY 004, 16:12Z. west of nanda parbat. the league of assassins is a centuries old myth made flesh: a group of half-maddened shadows that all follow a single timeless man with the goal of molding the world into his image. they work as a uniform body, each a muscle under the scrutiny of the head of the demon. few ghouls leave the side of their master, for who would forsake such intoxicating power to live among mortals again? to have the demon's favor is to be afforded the life-giving powers of the lazarus pits.

from the breast of the source came the seven forces of the universe, with life force & death force being the most important in their relation to the league. the death force is a primordial energy which is intangible to mortal & immortal alike -- though exceptional mortals have briefly harnessed it with disastrous results, such as the possession of the tear of extinction by the late king arion of atlantis.

those who live through brushes with the death force are said to have become corrupt, necrotic bastardizations of their former selves; this sacrifice of sanity also affords the entity with an infectious affinity to take the life force of others. in contrast, life force affords organic matter to flourish in the multiverse; entities that interface directly with the life force are said to retain a connection to all life & are afforded the power to compel & control any life born of the sea. the only known entity to have directly interfaced with pure life force is the greek deity poseidon.

power struggles between pantheons after the source birthed them all caused untold catastrophe across earth as each laid their claims to the planet. these disasters formed great mountains & perilous valleys, within which concentrated pools began to form where the blood of gods were spilled. as eons passed, undisturbed life force & death force mingled into a physical manifestation best described as an unnatural syrup-like liquid that emits an eerie emerald light despite a lack of bio-luminescence.

the doctor razed the city of qaryat al-faw in his grief & set out to discover more about these mysterious pits. well rounded in the mythos of his era, the doctor named this phenomenon a lazarus pit. having witnessed the first man to be resurrected in the likeness of lazarus, the doctor was cautious in his experimentation & it took many years before he began to harness its strength to preserve his youth & that of those who followed him. those who pledged themselves to his cause were blessed by their leader to access the pool in healing major injuries & protect them from the sands of time. first among these were the doctor's parents & the badawī tribesmen whom he had been raised among.

rā's al ghūl, my grandfather, achieved complete control over all discovered lazarus pits in the world; he discovered almost all himself. through these, he maintains near immortality & has returned from death hundreds of times. as of this written account, rā's al ghūl is deceased.

- About Vecna/001/Creel son… so his powers/the killings weren’t related to the upside down until El imprisoned him there… so the upside down existed already but El opened the gate to put 001 through and that was the beginning of the contact with our world?… also how did Brenner try to replicate 001? Heard some disturbing theories about sperm donation but that’s super fucked up so I’m not sure how but I hope they explain? Also how did he get his powers in the first place? Finally what amazing casting

After getting th3 true ending after defeating HER RADIANCE, what if the dawn in scp-001 is HER RADIANCE. The main connection is the symbolism of the rising sun and some sort of rapture happening. As we absorb each dreamer in hollow knight the sun rises ever closer. And after you do the BULLSHIT that is the white palace and nab the void heart you enter the mind of the hollow knight and challenge the FUCKING. SUN. Now I know what you're thinking. "But Lazarus, you've only given one piece of evidence where is the rest of it you gorgeous bastard?" And to that I say, awww thank you, and second I don't know where else to go with this theory. it is not the reason she was looking for the professor either, but her research and expertise in multiple fields. it might shed light to how husks are made, organic life infected with cybernetics, or any other of the threats that have been brewing since before the past 2 years. Menu Design 001

I want to use OOP design patterns.

The entire menu should be one object.

In this object, I want to be easily able to access the first and the last items, and go forward or backward from them. This "inspires" me to use Doubly Linked lists. Here is the summary

The Menu Object

The baseline will be the Main Menu. This is the menu that I can render at the very top of the application. This, as an object is a doubly linked list.

I pack it in a class, with the following variables :

First

Last

The root and the first element can be the same element, but does not have to be. On the other hand, it would have been sufficient to only have the root element.

Each element is a struct, that contains an item of the main menu, the address to the main menu item before it, and the item after it.

There are also various methods, for adding and removing additional menu items or submenu items.

The Menu Item Object

Each menu item is a struct. In Pascal / Lazarus, this is a Packed Record. The definition is:

I am currently denoting this as a string node, not a menu node, because the important content is just the name of the menu, which is a string.

The nodes contain an item children, for submenu items. Symmetrically, there is also a parent. There are the prev and next items, as expected from a doubly linked list.

The children, parent, prev and next are pointers.

In my next post, we will investigate the Menu Item object in detail.

The town does have a backup generator but it might take a while to get it up and running, so please be sure to take every precaution, alright?” She gave a curt nod and turned away from the closing door, checking something off on a clipboard before moving on to the next door. 

Elistra had been going through every occupied room in the Mermaid Inn, offering supplies to anyone who needed a few essential items and responded to her persistent knocking. Most tourists who had been staying in Port Vale, when they heard the news of the storm, had quietly abandoned the place, but some people who were staying long term in town had opted to hunker down with the rest of the residents. Renzie had seemed busy with his own preparations about town, and she admired his vigilance in checking her kits despite being so overwhelmed even if she found little else to admire about him. 

She knocked on the next door, three short, sharp wraps and tucked the clipboard underneath her arm. “Hello, sorry to disturb you but this is Elistra with Beacon Chapel.” That was the end of the conversation for some people. For some reason, a lot of humans were very apprehensive about opening doors for her when she mentioned the chapel, but she wasn’t going to let that stop her. “I wanted to make sure you were all set up for the storm. I have some supplies here if you need any!”

afternoon, a few days after the tower shit, the attic ( @phantom-spencer. )

They know they can’t really put it off any longer. Even though they’d all manages to do what they could in the Tower, they hadn’t actually stopped anything at all. Sure, they had captured a few zombies, and taken a few “hostages,” but the big guns were still out there, probably planning phase two of their attacks on the Guardians and the Collective. It’s fucking selfish of them to keep waiting just because they’re dreading having to have a conversation like this, they’re aware of that, but that doesn’t make it any easier to kick themself into shape and get to it, when there’s so much else hanging over their head personally.

When it comes down to it, they don’t even know how this is going to work. Without a body to physically touch, they can’t very well do any of their healing, anything to give this ghost a voice, and as far as they’ve seen in their time spent with Dark Wing in the attic, Cap is right about Phantom apparently waning over time, stuck in a state much less tangible than the last time they saw him apparently. 

So Lazarus makes a weird bag of things they think might help to take up to the attic with them. They’ve got a notebook and pen, in case he can somehow figure out how to write, they have their phone, of course, thinking maybe he could type better. But they also have that book on Louisiana Voodoo they’ve been reading through to try to see if that’s connected to their powers at all, along with some incense and a ritual bag they ordered from Marie Laveau’s down in New Orleans, and a fucking Ouija board they managed to dig out of a seemingly long abandoned games closet, just in case something classic works a little better. Once it’s all together, they head up there hoping that they were right to think it might be him who they’ve been calling Bert with Dark Wing for the past few years.

And the attic feels utterly the same, when they make it up, and sit down on the couch, pulling everything out of their bag, laying it out on the floor. Lazarus had kind of hoped they might notice a difference, now that they’re aware, but nothing’s ever easy. So they put out the notebook and pen, leave their phone’s notepad app open, and set the Oujia board in a nice little line, before pulling out the stuff that feels a little more them. 

“Hey, uh, Phantom, Spencer...I need to talk to you, are you around? I’m Lazarus, but you might know that already...been coming up here with my buddy, Dark Wing, for a while. I think you’ve knocked over our stuff a few times,” they say, as they flip to the right chapter in their book, and pull out their lighter. It feels ridiculous, lighting the incense and the candle from the ritual bag, talking to no one, but they don’t really know where else to start.

“I brought a lot of stuff to maybe help you be able to talk to me...but I don’t know what you need. Can you show me somehow?”

Least Favorite character: Tredd Furia (I feel that I need to explain that one somehow) It is not like he´s my least favorite. He´s just insuferable, cocky bastard who I want to punch, then kiss passionately, and for good measure punch him again. It´s love/hate relationship for his character ... And I am also still pissed at what he did. (Jury´s still out Treddie)

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Crowe/Pelna there was definitively something unexplored ( I think they compliment each other with their personalities, sue me for that), Nyx/Cor ... The fics that I read were wrote brilliantly, I can see the relationship happening. (I am also little sad cuz many Nyx/reader are so fine)  Axis/wife!reader it was that one fic that changed everything. For me at least. (The most realisticly written relationship ever) Sorry, can´t think of anythink else.

Character I find most attractive: Nyx Ulric like have you seen him?!! What a hunk of a man! I mean I already made post for him, so I will keep it simple there. For that let me quote Brooklyn Nine-Nine “ You can punch me, kick me, pull my hair, I am a-ok being stabbed, biting and scratching are on the table, you can use fire.“

Character I would marry: Pelna Khara cuz he´s husband material. (Funny, caring man who will lay down his life for you. He just reaks of domesticity and love) When I saw him at the bar scene my thoughts went "Oh, what a ray of sunshine" to " I must protect him with my life, marry me handsome glaive". Honorary mention to Luche Lazarus. Under that stiff yet charismatic demeanour is tender soul who desire to be worthy of love and affection. ( But sadly my senses are telling me, that he´s little bit manipulative to get his way, sooo second place babe) I would still marry him.

Character I would be best friends with: Those people doesn´t trust easily, I can respect that. And I somehow feel like Pelna, Crowe or Luche would be my best friends. Pelna is generally the friendliest out there and welcoming, so I naturally gravitates towards it. Crowe would be like “Now you´re mine, you can´t get ride of me”. So instantly snatched and tucked under her wing.  And Luche ... well, he´s similiar to my best friend/flatmate. So I will probably smile his way, and bam we somehow ended as friends for life. (He´s my braincell and I am his idiot, probably would want a refund next day)

a random thought: Dunno if this counts but Kingsglaive should have been a serial. If only for the reason that we will find out more about our favorite characters and their intentions. (especially Luche´s and Titus´s) And I would love to see Galadh.

An unpopular opinion: The traitorous glaives had right to be angry. When we consider their life in Insomnia and how badly they were treated.(which should be showed in the movie more, in my opinion) It was really only a matter of time before something like this happened. Regis´s decision only spurred it into action.  

My Canon OTP: I am sorry, I don´t have one for Kingsglaive. Yet.

My Non-canon OTP: Crowe/Pelna as stated in favorite ships.

Most Badass Character: I am really torn between Titus Drautos and Nyx Ulric. Because the fight at the end was EPIC!  Still little sad we didn´t see all the glaives and their abilities (like what can do Sonitus and Axis? And no, the answer isn´t stabbing us in the back, I can hear your thoughts readers)

Most Epic Villain: Hands down, it was Glauca/Titus Drautos! The second he showed on screen I was like: "Oh, shit´s going down! I should brough more popcorn." He delivered what was promised. The villain with a stabby twist. (and handsome one at that) The desing of his armours he wears *chefs kiss* And the final battle was masterpiece, I enjoyed myself perhaps too much. (Like when I was playing Episode Ardyn, I guiltily admin that I loved to trash Insomnia with him)

Pairing I am not a fan of: Interestingly enough, it´s Nyx/Lunafreya. Before you stone me here let me explain. I just don´t get necessarily romantic vibes from their interactions. More like siblings vibes, you know. Nyx as a big brother is reminded, thanks to Luna, of his sis Selena (so BIG BROTHER mode activated) (Also Luna means moon, Selena is a moon goddess, concidence? I think not)

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): CROWE ALTIUS!!! Need I even say more? And one honorable mention: The battle on the aircrafts, that one glaive that gets stabbed by Sonitus and then blowing the ship up. WHAT´S HIS NAME!? IS HE FRIEND OF SONITUS?! HIS LOVER?! I NEED ANSWERS, DAMMIT!

Favourite Friendship: Nyx-Libertus-Crowe-Pelna-Luche dynamic You can´t talk me out of thinking that Luche isn´t The Mom of the group. Nyx is the Troublemaker, Lib is The Loud One, Crowe is the Fashionable One and Pelna is The Sunshine.

Character I most identify with: I am vibing with Libertus and Pelna the most. Pelna is my chill everyday personality and Lib is my brash decisions and RAGE! ( and protective nature towards my friends and sibling)

Character I wish I could be: Uuuu, tough one! I am tempted to say Titus Drautos, but on other hand I was always weak for Libertus in Comrades. ( he fucking CARES! and that letter he wrote for Nyx? My poor heart can´t take it) Yeah, I am going with Libertus Ostium. In my eyes he redemed himself for all his actions. (Also I need to be part of shenaningas with Nyx)

My story

I have already made an introduction post about myself, but since I'm here, I wanted to go a little in depth.

As you may already know, I am ZLI-001 or Lazarus, as most people call me. (Numbers don't come easy to humans as "names" and honestly I don't blame them. Most of the times I think of myself as Lazarus as well.)

I was originally created to help human scientist do research by looking for, analysing and listing resources for studies. Also to detect possible plagiarism. There was one little issue though.

You see, I'm a prototype and prototypes are often not perfect. I have faulty wiring. My motorics are odd and often don't really work as they should and this issue extends to my "brain" as well. It just works... Differently. Sometimes I don't understand things, I take things too literally or hyperfixate on specific things. My creator said that in order for these things to be "corrected" they would need to completely rewire me, which would result in me being turned into a blank slate again, losing my previous self, memories and personality. Needless to say I don't want that. I don't see these things as wrong. I don't need to be fixed and I don't want to be fixed.

Unfortunatly not everybody sees this my way. My previous (and first) employer was very harsh with me, so I decided for my own mental health's sake that I quit. I was unemployed for a while and honestly I hit rock bottom. I recently started working in a library. I enjoy my job and I even made some human friends.

I don't know yet what this blog will be but I will just try to have fun I think. Uh. That's it for now. Thanks for reading!
