#my art #jujutsu kaisen #jjk #jjk fanart #jujutsu kaisen fanart #yuji itadori #itadori yuuji #jjk yuuji #been trying some stuff out in an attempt to beat the artblock out of myself with hammers #and i LOVE how it looks but god it takes so long painting like this #i had a ref style i was going for that was a lot more washed out and watercoloury #and to be fair my take on it did start out looking more adjacent to that #u can still kinda see remnants of the initial watercolour washes in the collar of yuuji's jacket in th bottom one #but it Did Not Last fhdjfjjg what can i say im a gouache/oils gal #i can't use soft greys and watery inks i need stark blacks i need the reddest red the colour wheel will provide #one thing i did keep from the refs were the sharp prickly fine lines i think those look real cool against textured colour blocks #anyway ive also been having a lot of fun playing with rly rly harsh lighting on the hair #and even thinner linework put down after the colour as opposed to before #probably one of the reasons why it takes a lot longer but also it mimics traditional art a lot more #ill probably continue playing around with this sort of render ! or at least keep elements of it

been thinking about jason being petty towards bruce. like, oh, you spend time with your other kids, but not me? tire privileges revoked! it would be over stupid shit too.

like there’s one time bruce decides to take damien to the movies, and jason is just beside himself.

like the conversation would be like:

JASON: So, let me get this straight—you took Damian to a movie.

BRUCE: He asked.

JASON: Oh, and I wouldn’t have wanted to see Kung Fu Panda 4 with you?!

BRUCE: You were busy.

JASON: Busy taking down a cartel. Which, by the way, I learned from you. I deserve quality time!

BRUCE: Jason—

JASON: No. No excuses. You’ll learn.

Jason storms off. Five minutes later, an alert pops up on the Batcomputer.

BATCOMPUTER: Warning: Batmobile rear tires have been removed.

BRUCE: …Jason.

Cut to Jason outside, rolling two Batmobile tires away, cackling.

#this isn’t the last time jason steals the tires #bruce keeps doing stuff with the other batkids #and Jason is like look at this opportunity #like imagining if tim gets arrested for something bc i mean come on tims a menace #then bruce just bails tim out and just the week before jason was arrested and bruce let him sit in jail for like two days #jason blew up something so like bad jason #either way jason is like i warned you batbitch and he steals the tires from the batmobile again and then who knows what happens to the tires #unfortunately it gets worse #bc bruce then takes dick to a fancy ass dinner #and it’s to one of Jason’s favorite stakehouses #Like it was the only fancy food place he could stand #good steak is good steak #and jason’s like this is crossing a line #so instead of stealing the tires again #he just takes the entire batmobile #how? no one knows #no one sees the batmobile again or the tires #at least until Batman gets a call from various members of the JL asking him why pieces of the batmobile have been popping up in the city #however it’s about the car itself #no one knows where the tires are still #jason calling Oliver up and saying like i don’t like you man but like we both don’t like batman want his tires?#jason todd #bruce wayne #dick grayson #tim drake #dc universe #batman #batfamily #batfam #damian wayne

I want an AU where after Jason gets brought back to life, he channels his inner rage and turmoil into the academics instead of murder

Talia has like infinite money and a crap ton of influence, so she can absolutely get Jason the best tutors and can easily get him into the most prestigious schools if Jason wanted to (she doesn't need to do that though because Jason's just smart enough to get into them on his own)

The major he chooses? Med.

Why? Because Bruce dropped out of med school.

Jason practically flies through all the secondary education that he needs to catch up on and is already en route to earning his bachelor's AND his master's.

And it'd be so incredibly funny if the way Bruce and Jason reunite in this AU was purely by coincidence.

Bruce (as Brucie Wayne) offers to show up as a guest lecturer at Hudson University (the school Dick attended but dropped out of so double points for Jason), maybe to talk about future career paths and job positions at WE idk

So as Bruce is just wandering around the campus, he randomly bumps into a student and immediately puts on the Brucie act and is all "Oh my, I'm SO sorry, I'm just a klutz haha" only to stop dead silent when he makes eye contact with a very alive, very grown Jason Todd, who also stops dead in his tracks, mouth agape, staring at Bruce like the world's about to end

And before Bruce can get his thoughts straight, Jason just bolts out of there like his life depends on it, and Bruce is just in shambles for the rest of the day.

It doesn't help that the person giving Bruce the tour is all like "Oh yeah, that's Jason, he's one of the heads on our student council haha, anyways, this way, Mr. Wayne." and Bruce is just stood there bluescreening.

Alternatively, it'd be kinda funny if this all happened AFTER the events of UTRH where after the final encounter with Bruce and Joker and the whole explosion, Jason's just like "yk what, maybe I'm just gonna turn over a new leaf and pursue a higher education"

So while Gotham's still reeling from the aftermath of Jason's near takeover as the top crime lord and Bruce is still painstakingly trying to figure out where his son went, the whole time Jason's just been chilling on a school campus and Bruce just so happens to bump into his son (who, last time they met, tried to kill Bruce and blew up the building they were all in) and Jason's just all normal-looking with his textbooks and nerdy glasses and Bruce doesn't know whether to scream or cry.
