We all know at this point that the name Astarion is connected to the word "star" (starry or little star).
But Larian decided that they wanted to go all in with the details and they delivered!
The flower you can place on his tomb in the final romance scene (which I think is such a cute and tender gesture and I love his reaction to it), seems to be an Ornithogalum umbellatum, a star-shaped white flower with six petals. Among the plant's many common names, there are summer snowflake, starflower, and star-of-Bethlehem.
Moreover, in the language of flowers, its meanings are related to trauma, mourning, and welcoming pain without repressing it.
According to Doctor Edward Bach (1886 – 1936), these flowers are "For those who find themselves in a state of great anguish due to situations that, in a given period, have caused so much unhappiness", and can be used to help with the aftermath of a trauma, the alleviation of pain and the mourning process.
Edit: every time I see an artist include this flower in their Astarion fanart my heart swells with joy. Love this community

Floriography, or the language of flowers, was a wonderful way for the Victorians to convey hidden meanings through the flowers they gifted.
I think it's time to revive this tradition and start putting together bouquets based on the symbolism of the flowers. Like this one.
I call it my "fuck you"-bouquet, with a "bless your heart" as a cherry on top. 💐

FLORIOGRAPHY:
Aconitum napellus: a foe is near, deceit
Fumaria: hatred
Orange lilium: hatred, revenge
Ocimum basilicum: hatred
Black rose: hatred
Lotus corniculatus: revenge
Trifolium pratende: I promise, revenge
Petunia: deep resentment, anger

Okay so I know absolutely nothing about flowers BUT my mother is an avid gardener and Artist. I asked her if she could try to decipher the waistcoat that the costume department said was foreshadowing a lot of season 3 part 2
This one:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the coat are multiple flowers, these are what we think they are and their known meanings
(I am not a genius and therefore this is all speculation for funsies 🤣) (all meanings are either taken from the Language of Flowers or Known English meanings of the time.)
First is Foxglove:
Tumblr media
Symbolic of Conundrums, riddles and secrets
Flax:
Tumblr media
Symbolic of purity, perseverance and rebirth
Bird's foot trefoil:
Tumblr media
Symbolic of revenge, usually a passive aggressive flower
Wallflower:
Tumblr media
Symbolic of faithfulness in the face of adversity
Spruce:
Tumblr media
This is found wrapped or hovering around every flower and I think may have multiple meanings.
Symbolic of birth in English meaning but is considered the 'Tree of birth' In ancient Greece the tree is related to Artemis (a Greek goddess) who presides over childbirth and is a protector of women.

💐 / sherliam, flower language
when married to a guy whose mind palace only stores flowers with poison/medicinal value
I recently got a book, “Floriography: An Illustrated Guide to Victorian Language of Flowers” and it was fun applying it here! I imagine Liam knows Sherly doesn’t really bother to remember flower language, so incorporates Sherly’s knowledge of poisons/medicinal herbs for the fun of it!

I saw this among Saya’s concept sketches and wondered if the flowers put in her hair were chosen for a specific reason.
After hours of searching online, the closest I could find which corresponds to said flowers was the Duranta erecta (common name(s): golden dewdrop, pigeon berry).
Tumblr media
In Japan, they mostly mean “I will watch over you (なた見守る)”, which is likely why these flowers were picked, knowing what happened to Saya in the game.
If the hand who put them in Saya’s hair was Masamune/Yashiki’s, then it can imply that he either promised to watch over her or regarded her as his guardian angel.
The bond those two share is such a beautiful, yet bittersweet thing. 🥲

image description under the cut
[id: A screenshot of a flower website stating: “Alstroemeria. Also called Peruvian lily, alstroemeria symbolizes the strong bond between two people that transcends romantic love. Send this elegant flower to a special friend to celebrate the strength and devotion of your friendship. Alstroemerias are tuberous perennials native to the cold, mountainous regions of South America. They are popular as cut flowers and also in the garden. Their delicate flowers come in many colors, and they bloom every summer and fall.” Above the text is a circular photo of the aforementioned orange and yellow flowers. Half of the petals on the flowers are speckled with dark brown lines. The flowers’ dark green leaves are long and thin.]

Colin Bridgerton
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Soft music played as the ton danced with their intended, or family members to escape from the vultures some call mothers. Amongst the spectators stood one of the Bridgertons. Their gaze did not leave one of the young ladies who danced with their father. He was going to ask for a dance but her brother had reached them before him. His eyes focused on her. A soft smile made its home on his face not noticing the young lady's father standing next to him.
"You would think she had the sun in her hands with the way you watch her," Colin jumped at the voice before he turned.
"I do not understand what you mean Lord L/n," He started as he turned back to where the dancers were. Colin continued before the lord could say anything. "She is my sun, my eyes will find and follow her."
"I am happy she found you," Lord L/n said after he saw how Colin looked at his daughter. This caused him to look at Lord L/n with a smile. "I'm guessing you are eager to have your wife back after her mother stole her from you." He jested as he turned to his daughter and son.
"I am," Colin agreed. "How is Audrey finding the season? I'm assuming that is why Lady L/n stole my wife." Lord L/n laughed before he nodded.
"You stolen bride returns."
Colin's head wiped around and a smile as bright as the sun was what greeted his wife. She had a smile just as bright when she noticed him.
"Colin!" She let her brother's arm go and took ahold of his offered hand. He pulled her into him and kissed her hand. The two lovers went into their own world as they reunited after not spending the day without one another.
"You would think he returned from war," A voice came from behind Lord L/n. The two gentlemen turned and saw Viscount Bridgerton. They chuckled at the thought. "But it is nice to know they are both devoted to each other and found a love so strong."
The three gentlemen could agree and watched as they moved to the dance floor.
"Do you not want to go home Lord husband?" Colin was asked.
"Would you deny your husband a dance Lady y/n?" She smiled as she shook her head.
"That would be a crime,"
Colin laughed at that then guided y/n into a dance. They looked into each other's eyes and lost themselves there for the rest of the evening.
The end.
