ST5 POTENTIAL SPOILERS!!!

ST5 Leaks/Fleaks

Gen Plot

Season picks up briefly where we left off in 1986 before jumping into either late 1987 or early 1988. The season is contained entirely in apocalyptic Hawkins. Things with the government are shaky. Owens doesn't appear in the beginning of the season and it's unclear if he's returning, but Ellen Stinson is the new Owens. Hawkins is like a combination of the UD and Kamchatka.

Labyrinths/Mazes being important to both the supernatural plot and the interpersonal relationships. They're inherently linked.

Two songs to be featured are 'Listen to Your Heart' and 'Alone,' both of which were apparently foreshadowed in a previous conversation between Hopper and Joyce, similar to how Hopper's "I'm the puppet, you're the master" to Joyce in S3 basically foreshadowed Eddie's 'Master of Puppets' in S4.

S1 and 2 scenes being referenced are "Nancy and Mike's conversation in the bathtub" and "Hopper + Lando Calrissian"

Lots of importance in COLOR CODING and blocking from the final shot of S4, and a good chunk is told in the costuming—like passing the torch from one character to another as their arcs overlap. For example, Hopper and Will share the "am I the curse and therefore putting my loved ones at risk by being near them?" sentiment for S5, therefore their wardrobe in the final shot of S4 is similar. Joyce/Jonathan and Nancy/Mike's costuming also similar for the same reason, whereas Eleven stands out because she's the first one coming into her own this season. The white for her represents shedding of false skins.

Character duos this season will be primarily dressed in colors of blue/green and yellow/red.

There's lots of symbolism and foreshadowing for every character in S5 from the moment Will touches his neck in the last sequence of S4.

S4 focused on themes of lies and miscommunication, and everyone is going to have to work through these lies before they can defeat Vecna.

Murray and Argyle are both back. Dimitri and Yuri don't seem to be in the beginning of the season.

One thing left unresolved with the Russian plot. Something important will happen involving the machine and the green liquid from the Starcourt bunker. Reference of Dustin vowing to die with Steve when they initially discovered it.

Hopper, Joyce, Mike, Will, and El had to be away from Hawkins, otherwise Vecna wouldn't have won.

An important death that they're nervous about given the reception to Eddie (not Joyce or Jonathan—see details below).

Eleven

We'll see her unlike we've seen her before. A badass who doesn't take shit from anyone. Not a Monster, not a Hero, Jane. Think: adult El could be headed for a Charles Xavier type role.

Erica, Lucas, and El will share scenes together.

El has significant blocking and development with many characters this season.

Max, Eleven & Max

The "kaleidoscope of colors" from a script the writers posted makes a feature in both the scene where young El remembers her mother's love in order to defeat Henry in the lab, as well as the scene where El revives Max. This is significant because it's the first time we see El using her powers on someone in a non-violent way.

El was able to revive Max because of she, herself, being revived in the bunker by Brenner and Co. It's a show, don't tell moment from the writers.

Max getting Vecna'd was foreshadowed in the beginning of 2x01.

Will, Henry/Vecna, The UD

Filming was supposed to commence mid-June, but Noah and Jamie were set to begin in May due to more complicated costuming. Will is going to require heavy prosthetics at some point.

Will's character design is blocked in three stages. The more the UD bleeds into Hawkins, the more connected to it he feels. The gates being open will physically influence him, especially when he's not as mentally strong.

He's kind of like "the card up Vecna's sleeve."

It appears they want to confuse the audience about Will.

Will wrestling with his own morality

Henry/Will mirrors. Will will sympathize with Henry because, unlike El, he knows how and what Henry thinks, and he can feel him.

Vecna and Will are very similar, but the difference is Will is made stronger by love not hate. They will play into that duality.

Vecna was nerfed in S4 compared to how we see him in S5. He'll be much stronger.

At the beginning, he'll be taking a hiatus while he plans how to divide and conquer now that everyone's back together in Hawkins.

Soteria will be the key to saving Will. If they want Will to be untraceable to Henry, they'll have to insert it into his neck and it'll be painful. Vecna not having access to Will fucks up his ability to leave the UD.

Byler/Mileven Triangle

Apparently, it's complicated and up in the air as of now.

Mike dealing with guilt this season. He feels guilty/responsibility for El. He feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.

Will and Mike to spend a good chunk of the season together based on character designs and blocking.

Will telling El that Mike won't like being lied to comes back with the painting. During a pre-time jump scene in 5x01, while everyone's together plotting how to defeat Vecna and brainstorming how to save Max, Mike brings up the painting El commissioned for a D&D analogy. Will has to pull Mike aside and confess he lied about El commissioning the painting. Mike gets angry, because he doesn't know about Will's feelings and feels embarrassed that Will thought he was that pathetic he needed to be given a pep talk. Their own version of a "fight you can't come back from." Immediately after their fight, we get the time skip.

Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps. After the time jump, he and El won't be talking as much because he's keeping the details about Will's painting from her. She's gonna ask what's wrong between him and Will, and he lies/is very vague.

Joyce, Hopper, Jopper

Joyce feels immense guilt/responsible over Bob's death since she's the one that asked him to help in S2, which is why she pushed Hopper away at first.

Hopper has a secret from S1 that was never addressed, and it comes back to haunt him.

Joyce sustains an injury in S5 that is reminiscent of the way someone was injured in S3, but it isn't critical and she'll be okay.

Jopper are the most established couple after the time jump. Lots of bickering still, but Hopper trusts Joyce more than he ever has.

Jonathan, Nancy, Jancy

So far, does not seem like a breakup is happening.

Jonathan's still lying about the college letter and distant because of it, and Nancy thinks he's not as into the relationship and that there might be someone else. She confronts him, which leads to a talk. She's touched by the lengths he would go to try and protect her and any of their future children even from himself.

A moment where we're led to believe Jonathan dies but doesn't, like Hopper in S3.

Hopper-Byers Family

These five characters slowly unraveling their arcs together and have always been closely linked. Their perfect endings are together.

We see the family combining, especially in relation to El.

Joyce gets to witness Hopper being paternal and tender towards the boys.

Scenes with Joyce, Jonathan, and Will

Hopper being back lifts a weight off Jonathan's shoulders.

Okay. How did we see Nancy in S4? Confused. Confused with the love triangle between Jonathan, her and Steve. Jonathan is her actual boyfriend. And Steve is her posible love interest again.

So, putting this in byler language: Nancy = Mike Jonathan = Eleven Will = Steve

If Mike's and Nancy's character's clothing is important at this point of the time line and that means they feel similar feelings, this could mean that byler has a chance. BUT then we read this: ''(...) He (Mike) feels stuck in a loop that keeps him from a truth he's scared to face.'' And

''Mike's character motivations are unclear and seem to be kept under wraps.''

THIS LITERALLY MEANS BYLER. FOR REAL. Like byler could be endgame. Also, remember Eleven's injury in S3? Do you remember the leak of a shoe covered in blood?

And I would just find it funny if there were something like that, maybe between s3&4, of Lando shamelessly flirting with Kallus (and now both Kanan and Ezra poke fun at Zeb's jealousy). And Zeb gets quite upset over it.

so you do not want a hot shot with a death wish for any job other than test pilot

here are qualities you want in a pilot

loves a check list. seriously. check lists and flight plans are everything in aviation. ground crews should also love a check list. ideally, two different people do every maintenance check list, every refueling check list, every cargo check list, every preflight, every post flight, independently. every time. anyone who tells you you can skip a check list in whole or in part is your enemy and trying to kill you.

able to act with creative calm when things go to hell. look into the united airlines flight 232 crash at sioux city. those magnificent bastards found themselves in an aircraft very suddenly lacking one engine and all working control surfaces and put it on the ground without killing everyone aboard or anyone on the ground. possibly the greatest landing in aviation history. more people walked away than didn't. absolute motherfucking legends, including the cabin crew.

again, my information is second hand, but my father, two uncles, and two grandfathers were career pilots. so like, primary sources.

one grandfather flew bombers out of england. y'all like that diagram of a bomber with red dots on it, right? yeah, that grandfather contributed several of those data points. there are photos.

another grandfather, he flew medical flights from europe back stateside. met my grandmother doing it, she was a flight nurse on his aircraft. cute story! we did have to yell at riverside national cemetery a little when we buried my grandmother and remind them that she was a veteran in her own right when they wanted to double stack her in my gradfather's plot.

my uncles flew fighters and commercial jets. didn't know them well but they were nice enough to me.

my dad was army air cavalry, medevac out of hanoi, cargo helicopters out of mainz, gunships as army reserve in yugoslavia, civilian medevac, oil rig pilot (where he met my stepmom who was a mechanic on gulf rigs, those adams boys got some luck with the ladies on their aircraft i tell you what), commercial jet pilot. i was glad when he went from rotating wing to fixed wing craft. he said blowing up range targets with hellfire missiles is the most fun you can have in a vehicle and i believe that.

these are dudes who loved check lists. they walked away from every single landing. with a couple of notable exceptions involving nazi 88mm flak shells, their aircraft were still flight capable afterwards.

yeah okay i kinda just wanted to brag on my people using writing characters as a framing device but hey, they're all giant nerds who did some of the coolest shit out there.

B - What's your favorite thing about this ship?

They simply annoy the ever-living fuck out of each other constantly. Like you can absolutely see them arguing with each other as foreplay, My Cousin Vinny style. They're both that 'scoundrel with a heart of gold' sort of type of character and I simpy love that in a ship.

Also they have history! Such history! And I love when you can have an 'old friend' dynamic like Magneto and Prof X. Also I really need Han to know that Lando's full name is *checks notes* Landonis Balthazar Calrissian. Who did that.

Bickering like an old married couple, constantly tricking each other, the custody arguments over the Falcon are legendary, they bring up so many past misbehaviours to one-up each other, but at the end of the day... they're stealing from each others' hotel rooms and leaving a note signed with a "be better next time <3", and I love that for them.

D- Is this ship an OTP or do you also multiship these characters with other people? If the latter, is it your favorite of the multiships? Why or why not?

I don't ship Lando with anyone else. But alas Han/Lando cannot beat Han/Leia... I simply love Leia too much.

E - Do you have any favorite headcanons for this ship?

Whenever they hook up, they steal the Falcon from each other. It's just an expected thing at this point.

Lando is a snacker and keeps getting crumbs in the bed and Han is ready to stab him every time because food! goes! in! the! kitchen!

They have matching tattoos. Yes they were drunk. No neither of them have ever looked into getting it removed. (They're tramp stamps of the Falcon.)

Lando always brings champagne to their hookups even if he doesn't have any notice. It lowkey annoys Han because where does he even get it from???

They always go to the same hotel and never have use the same name or credit card. The desk staff is all well aware of what's happening and think they're funny.

Han showed up with a beard once and Lando reflexively shot at him.

Han likes flipping poker chips in the air when he's bored. It drives Lando nuts because Han uses the metal chips that are shiny and catch Lando's eye and distract him.

Once they accidentally set a hotel room on fire by knocking over a table with candles on it. They both say the other did it on purpose.

They always go halves on dinner/date costs while snarking at each other the whole time about freeloading and handouts and sugar daddies. They've confused so many waiters.

J - What kind of dynamic(s) does this ship have or do you imagine it would have (friends to lovers, enemies to lovers, slow burn, mutual pining, A fell first B fell harder, etc.)?

Oh this is absolutely enemies to lovers LOL Plus some slow burn, I think... they're snarky and eyefucking but they don't realise it's what they're doing for... a while. Everyone else does, it's fine, and are so deeply annoyed with them. They're both the kind of people who flirt with everyone so it's a while before they realise they're serious about each other and not just angling for a one night stand like they would be with anyone else.

After he reluctantly promises you tell your daughter not to leave the room in the palace no matter what before she falls asleep looking at her one last time turning to boba and the two of you leave to fight Luke Skywalker and his friends to keep Jabba's palace under empire control fighting between Leia Organa and Lando Calrissian while boba deals with a blinded Han Solo before you hear a scream seeing boba right next to the sarlacc pit making your heart stop. You manage to get him back up escaping before the ship you were on blows up going back to Jabba's palace to get your daughter hiding an unconscious boba finding her awake reading across the room getting her and going back to a now awake boba going to leave until all of a sudden you hear a familiar voice as boba and your daughter get on his ship "You're needed here and I need your help". You turn around seeing vader hoping that he didn't see your daughter and that he will let you leave with boba without any type of agreement or argument "Lord vader I have to make sure that the people I care about are safe and not under rebellion control" you stare at each other staying quiet seeing a tired boba waiting for you and watching the interaction "You have a child to protect...I can feel your worry" your eyes widen and pray to force that he doesn't know that she is on boba's ship "The child will be fine with the bounty hunter while you help them you can join them you're the only true loyal ally I have left" you nod with tears in your eyes turning to boba who only nods. While vader walks away giving you privacy you hug your daughter telling her you love her and telling boba to protect her leading to him taking off his helmet holding you and in a loving kiss holding his face before you meet vader and watch as boba leaves following vader going with him and Palpatine to take luke skywalker. Your daughter was sitting in the passenger seat beside boba while boba drove "Did my mom leave me?..." he looks over at her turning autopilot on and hugging her while she cried telling her that the three of you will be together and starting over as a family far away from the empire where no one knows who you are and you couldn't be judged for making a mistake and your daughter couldn't be judged because of it.

Favorite moment in each Star Wars movie?

I've been loving these questions lately! Not sure if you're all the same anon or multiple folks, but regardless, I really appreciate them.

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

I mean, how can it not be the Duel of the Fates? The music! The ridiculous but fun as hell acrobatic choreography! The drama! I love the Prequel Trilogy when it feels the most operatic and that's definitely the case here.

Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Attack of the Clone is my least favorite live action Star Wars film. I think it has some great ideas, but it was rough in 2002 and visually it looks uglier with each passing year. That being said, I still find the arena battle on Geonosis to be fun as hell. There's just something special about throwing these Jedi, droids, flying termite people, giant alien monsters, Mandalorian bounty hunters, and eventually drop ships of clone troopers up against each other in a dusty coliseum that scratches a very special fantasy action itch.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

Ian McDiarmid's delightfully evil performance in Revenge of the Sith is one of my favorite things in all of Star Wars and his triumphant speech that fully transforms the Republic into the fascist Galactic Empire is incredible. Add in John Williams's tragic choral score and Padme Amidala's tearful admittance of democracy's defeat at the hands of authoritarianism and you have movie magic and what might be my favorite moment from the Prequel Trilogy.

Solo: A Star Wars Story

I have the least opinions about Solo: A Star Wars Story of any Star Wars film. It's a solidly fine film that does little to impress or offend for most of its run time. The one area where I really feel the movie spark to life though is the first meeting between Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian and Alden Ehnrenreich's Han Solo over a game of Sabacc. Both actors bring such a fun spark to these characters that feels original but still connected to the long shadow of their original counterparts. It's also the best directed sequence in the film and maybe the only moment that leans into the space crime comedy that Solo seemed desperate to achieve.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

This is maybe an odd choice, but I love the first scene of Rogue One. I find most of this spin off film to be a little bit impersonal and sterile until we get to the big explosive (and admittedly fun) finale, but the opening confrontation between Orson Krennic and Galen Erso is really great. Gareth Edwards shoots it all with a grounded naturalism that feels tense and eerie in a way Star Wars films rarely are and Madds Mikkelson and Ben Mendehlson have such strong, dramatic chemistry. It's a moment that communicates so much about the relationship between these two men with so little and is really the storytelling high point of the film.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

It's honestly a testament to how great the last half hour of A New Hope is that despite the fact that I've seen this movie likely more than any other movie in existence, I still find myself on the edge of my seat. Even thinking about the final stretch of Luke flying his X-Wing down the Empire's trench while Vader gains ever closer and closer still gives me chills. I cannot imagine the cheers that must have erupted in theaters across the world in the summer of 1977 when Han makes his surprise last minute rescue. It's just incredible film making on every level and I don't know if it'll ever be surpassed.

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Picking a favorite moment in The Empire Strikes Back is such a hard task, but I keep finding myself going back to the brilliant confrontation between Luke and Vader in Cloud City. Not only is it a beautifully shot and choreographed lightsaber duel, but it contains some of the most influential and emotionally devastating character beats in the saga. It's another instance of absolutely peak Star Wars.

Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi

Even with the beyond silly "NO!" dubbed over in the recent releases of Return of the Jedi, Vader's final rejection of Palpatine to rescue his son is still one of the moments of saga that can move me to tears despite having seen it dozens of times. There's just such incredible catharsis in this final reconciliation between father and son and it closes the best arc of the Original Trilogy off in such satisfying faction.

Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

I wholeheartedly think that the first thirty minutes or so of The Force Awakens are absolutely masterful filmmaking and arguably the best work of JJ Abrams's directorial career. While the opening battle sequence does a wonderful job of introducing some of the movie's cast, it's really Rey's mostly wordless introduction that felt instantly spellbinding and still wows me to this day. In several gorgeous minutes we learn so much about this lonely woman who scavengers to survive in the wreckage of classic franchise iconography (one of the Sequel Trilogy's many beautifully meta moments) and John Williams's crafts what is easily one of the best Star Wars themes of all time with a tinkling of wonder and mystery.

Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi

Like The Empire Strikes Back, picking a single moment that's my favorite in The Last Jedi is incredibly difficult. While there are undeniably rough patches, The Last Jedi has an abundance of absolutely iconic Star Wars scenes. I mean: Paige Tico's sacrifice; the throne room confrontation with Kylo, Rey, and Snoke; Luke and Yoda's discussion about the meaning of the legacy of the Jedi; the Holdo maneuver, Leia and Luke's reunion, the ending shot of Broom Boy. There's so many beats that I find myself wowed by over half a decade after the movie first premiered. But, my favorite has to be Kylo and Luke's Kurosawa inspired duel on the salt plains of Crait. I love the tense, minimalist choreography and stellar performances by Adam Driver and Mark Hamill, but I love the ending reveal the most. It completes Luke's wonderfully complex character arc in truly beautiful fashion.

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

It's absolutely the Force Flash Duel. Little competition. Yes, this movie is a mess and it fails to meet imost of its emotional, thematic, or mythological goals, but I think the evolution of Rey and Kylo's connection in the Force expanding into a confrontation that literally spills across space and time is such a smart and inventive idea and to me it feels like the most creatively successful moment in the film. Also it's the only time in the whole trilogy that we see Kylo duel with his mask on? Which feels important even if I'm not sure why.

Her unique ability, "Crimson Dawn," can grant her and her allies critical hit chance and protection up, making them more powerful in battle 4) Young Han Solo Young Han Solo is one of the most popular characters in the Star Wars Galaxy Heroes game. He is a scrappy smuggler and pilot who became a key player in the fight against the Empire. In the game, he is known for his agility, precision, and quick thinking. In this profile, we will take a closer look at his backstory, personality traits, abilities, and relationships with other characters. Players should use Young Han Solo to deal significant damage to enemies while also supporting their team with his unique abilities. Players should also prioritize upgrading Han's leadership ability to maximize the benefits to Scoundrel allies

Masterlist

You grabbed the spear poking out of the imperial guard, heaving it out of the limp corpse, before swinging it around your back. An incoming trooper you had already noticed, smacked straight into the spear, sending them straight to the ground. The impact of their helmet hitting the ground echoed throughout the imperial base, alerting other incoming officers and troopers. In an attempt to somehow scare off some of the incoming enemies, you brought down the spear to the trooper’s chest, the tip immediately smashed through their armour killing them instantly.

A bead of sweat rushed down the side of your head, eventually falling off the edge of your jaw. You bit down on your bottom lip and narrowed your eyes, finding a large group of troopers heading toward you. Already their blasters were going off, but as soon as the wave came in, they were being wiped out.

Blue, red and green blasts flashed throughout the large base, and bodies fell around your feet as you made your way behind a broken down TIE fighter.

Despite the fact that you preferred to fight independently, out of everybody, he had to be there too.

“Well, well, if it isn’t Y/N Solo,” Gently, Lando stretched out his arm and took your free hand into his. The undoubtedly handsome man, captured your eyes as he began to lift your hand up to his lips. You watched him in utter disbelief; you were in the middle of a fight for crying out loud! And still, you let him place a tender kiss on the back of your hand.

His lips had ghosted over your hand for a while even after he’d kissed it. “It’s good to see you milady.”

“Now’s not the fucking time, Lando,” Your voice filled with venom, as you snatched your hand away, swiftly turning around toward the action. A grunt passed your lips, as you shot from behind the fighter. One trooper toppled over, before you shot a second one, sending them over, and then a third, and then a fourth, and then a fifth, and then a…

You whipped your head around to the direction of the man beside you, your hair following with the motion. He caught your stare and smirked gently, before replacing it with a genuine grin. His eyebrows were proudly raised high, even though he had only shot one out of the six troopers you encountered.

“We work pretty well together,” He whispered by your ear, resulting in sending shivers down your spine. The feeling gave you thrills and a rush of adrenaline you didn’t know you had, not until a sudden surge of courage allowed you to stand up, and sprint and swerve through all the Imperial enemies. You punched down an officer, grabbing his blaster, before using the two weapons in your hands to effortlessly take-down the many remaining troopers.

Lando was quite fast with his own weapon, even whilst wearing such a cape. You couldn’t help but stare at the man, as he spun around, his cape following the motion gracefully, using one hand to blast a trooper and the other to smite an officer.  

“Push on! Move forward! Y-Wings are incoming, we just need to hold them on for a little longer everyone. Keep up the good work.” The comm sounded from a rebel corpse, as you began to close your way into the Imperial base. Much to your disappointment, Lando was hot on your heels.

The other surviving rebels sprinted past, and you even caught sight of your brother in front, his own independence evidently radiating, by the way he held his poise. You were jealous of your older brother’s skill. Always.

“I don’t know how you do it Y/N, but you still look absolutely beautiful.”

Cue the eye-roll. You were sweating like a dog, spots of blood painted over your the bottom of your thin tracksuits. Your hair was matted and greasy, and you could feel your body odour radiate from your skin. However, before you could stop yourself, you gave him a curt nod, biting the side of your cheek as you responded with a small, “Thank you.”

In the corner of your eye, you saw the corners of his lips curl upward, only to then reveal his pearly whites. He was so irritatingly handsome! Heat rushed to your cheeks just seconds before you finally made it inside the dark base, but you waved it off as the cause was that you had just been running around. Mentally, you prayed that Lando hadn’t noticed.

“Y/N, I’ll take the left and you take the right. We’ll meet back in the middle around 400 metres from here.”

You turned to him with a raised eyebrow, keeping your eyes on his as you clipped in one of your weapons into your belt. “You did not just tell me what to do... You know I can fend for myself right?”

The grin plastered on his face hadn’t faltered, “I know that full well, Y/N, that’s why we should split up.” The way he was saying your name was not helping. You wanted to hear him say it more, you felt an urge to fight alongside him now, despite your previous thoughts. He was just too charming.

It’satrapit’satrapit’satrap. “Okay. Okay, yeah.”

“Yeah?” His grin widened, as he lifted his blaster up, getting ready to run back into battle.

“Yeah.” To your surprise you sent him a smirk, as you lifted your own weapon.

The other rebels sprinted past, with their faces full of determination. The only sounds, at that moment, were the thuds of boots hitting the cool flooring, the distant pants of breaths, the quiet murmur of the rebel officers giving orders and the eerie silence before the next wave of battle. To your surprise there was no alarm blaring.

You jumped suddenly, feeling warm fingers slip under yours. Your chapped lips parted to let your tongue slide over them with anticipation. Lando was stealing small pieces of your heart faster than you could even have the ability to stop him.

He pressed a quick, but firm kiss to the middle of your fingers, keeping his eyes stuck on your own. You always liked to put on a sort of facade to hide your true feeling, but Lando could see right through you, with those darn dark-brown orbs of his. “It’s for good luck,” He chimed, before letting go. His body began to move toward the left side, however his eyes stayed on your figure till the very millisecond he was gone from your sight.

An unwilling lump had formed in your throat, and you had no idea what the cause of your pounding heart was. It was as if you actually missed his presence. Nowaynowaynoway. You shook your head furiously and creeped around the opposite corner, keeping your back against the dark Imperial base walls. 

If it weren’t for his charisma, if it weren’t for his grin, his smirk, if it just weren’t for him, you’d have been so focused. But as your boots gently slid across the polished floors, and your knuckles turned white from holding your blaster too hard, you couldn’t get the man out of your mind. You could still feel the warmth of against your fingers, where his lips had previously been. 

If it weren’t for him, you’d have been so focused now. You would have been so focused that you wouldn’t have gotten shot in the side. You wouldn’t have screamed out in pain, capturing the attention of nearby enemies and you definitely wouldn’t have hid behind a wall, clutching your side with helplessness, hissing like a cat.

A mortified tear slid down your cheek, realising that Lando would find you in such a powerless state. Just the thought brought a new kind of heat to your cheeks, along with the thought that your brother wouldn’t let you live the moment down. 

You could already imagine the scenario:

“You got shot Y/N...” Han would cackle. He’d throw his head back in a laugh, before returning to your sheepish face, “... because you were thinking about Lando?!”

Or

“Told you so.” Han would cackle.

You’d purse your lips, averting your gaze.

“I told you not to come to the mission. Y/N...”

You’d let a sigh fall through your nose.

“Y/N...”

“Y/N!” 

“Wha- AH! Ahh...” Your hip jutted out at the sudden sting, as your left hand flew up to press against the wound in hopes to lessen the pain. Bangs and screams and thuds echoed throughout the building, adding more tears to the already hot, fat drops that sprinted down your cheeks. You felt helpless.

“Hey, hey, let me. Don’t touch it,” His familiar voice entered your ear. You refused to look at him, so in the corner of your eye you could see his crouched position beside you. His blaster was snuck firm in his belt, and his hands slowly wobbled toward your waist. He was holding something, but you couldn’t quite make out the object by the black spots that began to swarm your vision.

“L-Lando, don’t,” You pleaded, “I can— You need to - hiss - help the others. I-I’ll be fine.” 

To no avail, you felt his easy, warm hand envelope yours gently pulling it away from your wound. He frowned at the sight of your palm and fingers painted with blood, and your half-lidded eyes and tear-stained cheeks. He felt as if it were a requirement for him to help you. So much so that he bit his lip in attempts to make your pain subside, as he let his other hand press against your wound. 

The rough material he placed against your side, caused every inch of your body to jerk. Even your fingers had strongly tightened around Lando’s free hand. Panicked, he could sense the pain you were enduring. And he sprung into action the moment you had opened your mouth to scream.

“AH—mmfph!” His lips captured yours in a silencing kiss, pressing down firmly but with care, as to make sure you were completely silent.

The last tear fell from your already half-lidded eyes, finally closing. Your grip on his hand became loose, melting into the handsome man’s touch. Your shoulders drooped, your arched back began to slouch, your heart was finally beating rhythmically and the breath that you had been holding in finally escaped harshly through your nose.

He dropped his free hand to the ground beside you, gaining a sense of dominance yet protectiveness over your trembling body. The cloth, nevertheless, remained secure against your waist. The pain was gone immediately. His lips did magic. Magic you had never felt before. He was soft, but somewhat rough with his touch.  

The blasters, screams and thuds faded away, as Lando had pulled away from you, letting his forehead rest against yours. Your breaths hit each other, chests heaving with exasperation and relief. The tension was unbearable before, you just hadn’t realised till this moment.

“Lando, I—“

“I’ll patch you up real good, Y/N. Don’t worry,” He interrupted you forgivingly. Then he moved, lifting his head from yours, and the boom of the battle came back to your ring in your ears. Luckily the pain was bearable now, it still stung like a bitch, but anytime the man in front of you even took just a small glance up to your eyes, you’d forget everything around you and simply focus on his warm, dark-brown orbs.

Anytime he’d have to touch your fresh wound, his gaze would shift up to your contorted face, checking if you were coping. His arms had come around you at one point, pressing your chests flush against each other, in his attempts to wrap the bandage around you tightly. Regardless of the fact that you two had shared a kiss, there was still disregarded tension left hanging in the air.

You were finally caught in his trap, only not in the way Lando really wanted.

“Y/N, I know this isn’t a good time—“ A bead of sweat rolled down the side of his face, reaching his jawline and staying there, as he used the majority of his strength left to tie the knot, “—But, I just need to ask you…”

“Can it wait till after we win?” You interjected, almost mimicking your brother’s confidence. Though you were thinking the exact opposite. You wanted to hear him. You wanted to know what was on his mind. You were caught in his trap.

He shook his head, whilst his hands came into contact with yours. He finished the bandaging much faster than you had interpreted. His bloodied fingers curled around yours hesitantly, as if the action would hurt you in some way. “It probably could wait, but I can’t. So… Y/N.”

“Yeah?” You croaked.

“Would you mind— I mean, will you...”

You couldn’t help but grin up at him. His charismatic nature, his confidence shattered right in front of your eyes. And despite the fact that you were in the middle of a bloody battle, your heart and mind was only set on one man. 

“Lando...” You breathed out, reaching up an outstretched hand by his face.

Only his eyes moved up to you, every other part of his body stayed stiff, sheepish. 

“We work pretty well together, huh?” You smirked, quoting him from before. Gentle creases formed at the corners of your E/C eyes, as you opened and reopened your palm, like a baby wanting attention, “Now help me up.”

He was enamoured, just taking your hand, not for one second averting his gaze from you. He swallowed thickly, once you’d finally made it to your feet. The tips of your shoes touched, enhancing the close proximity you shared together. 

“Now try again,” Your grin widened, a hint of mischievousness evident in your features.

He sucked in a breath, taking your hand into his once more, “Y/N...”

“Yeah?”

“Would you consider... becoming something more— w-with me?”

A hum vibrated again your throat, as you shuffled with nerves, shoving your bottom lip between your teeth to keep your smile from growing any larger. You gave him his well-needed answer with an exaggerated nod, squeezing his hand along with the subtle action. “Mhmm.”

It was as if weight had been lifted off of his shoulders. This was just a dream, right? 

Wrong.

The way he could feel your warm lips against his again, was enough to tell him that this was reality. Your fingers grazing up his arms, was enough. Your soft breaths mingling amongst the harsh battle cries, was enough. Gosh, you were beautiful. You could say that Lando was now caught in your trap.
