Some random Lance/Isaac/Farmer sleeping headcanons:

Lance usually goes to sleep early, not forgetting the important self-care routine before bed. Isaac joins him after half an hour or more, just washing his face, taking off adventurer's clothes and flopping into bed if he's finished his report for Castle Village in time (but no later than midnight). Farmer went to bed with their partners later than everyone else (if they didn't collapse next to their own bed from exhaustion).

Farmer had to order the biggest double bed they could find from Robin, so that all three of them could comfortably sleep in it.

In a situation where they are in another place without the luxury of a big bed/multiple beds (like Lance's outpost), Isaac will usually insist that he sleep on the floor/chair so that the others both sleep normally in a bed. Lance insists that Isaac and Farmer sleep in bed. Farmer can either do the same as their two lovers, or silently drag them into bed, managing to fit the three of them in somehow.

Isaac is a little spoon (won't admit it out loud), Lance has no problem being a little spoon or a big spoon, he likes it both ways. Farmer is, in my opinion, just like Lance, but more often as a big spoon.

Usually when the room is too cold and unheated, Lance and Farmer are constantly leaning as close to Isaac as possible, much to the scarred adventurer's annoyance. He doesn't mind the contact, but it's one thing to have a nice hug in bed, and quite another when your partners are leaning icy hands and feet against your body, stealing the warmth.

Both Lance and Isaac sleep very lightly, and can be awakened even by a rustle outside the house/outpost. After all, both adventurers usually sleep in places that are teeming with monsters, so they always have to be on guard.

Farmer, on the other hand, sleeps like a dead man, and even a meteorite falling on the farm won't wake them up before 6am (a mystery to their two lovers).

Isaac wakes up most often from nightmares, after which Lance (and Farmer, if they wake up) will comfort him. The scarred adventurer doesn't fight back in such cases and doesn't pretend to be a tough monster hunter - only to them he can show his weaknesses and accept help. If Isaac wakes up silently in this case, he just calms down, makes sure his two lovers are breathing, and goes back to sleep.

He's not always so gentle, though; if Farmer and Lance start poking Isaac, tickling him or pissing him off, he'll send them both to the floor with one kick, taking the entire bed. "You'll sleep on the couch tonight," will be his last words before he hides his face under a warm blanket. But Lance and Farmer don't give up that easily, so after half an hour of grumbling and giggling, everyone makes up and no one sleeps on the couch.

big fat May post, my main sve farmer!!! art is May over the years, ive talked about her here before briefly but not much

rest of the post under the cut is essentially her backstory, it ended up being WAY longer than i thought it would be though so be warned lol

basic run down of her life pre-farm, is she was average in every sense of the word essentially. she basically had nothing exceptional going for her. she lived in the suburbs outside of zuzu city for a majority of her childhood before going to a cheap 2 year college and eventually working at joja. however, she knew nobody at zuzu city nor was she good at socializing at all. it basically caused her to become a hermit, she would hardly ever go outside aside to go to work and she had a terrible sleep schedule as well as diet, she was overworked and underpaid at joja so she couldn't afford much good or healthy food (she also picks up sign language as a way to avoid social interaction after a while). after basically 4 years of this, she decides to read her grandpa's letter and boom!!! stardew plot happens

she started off kinda terrible at farming ngl, like may legit grew up in peak urban area and she saw barely any plant life, now you expect bro to be a farmer?? LMFAO funny joke bro. having a hard time breaking out of her former hermit lifestyle, she barely talks to anyone outside of small talk with lewis, marnie, pierre, and robin, and those 4 are only because its essential for her job, and lewis is because he knew her grandfather. yippie!!! she went out to the country to start a new life and it really isn't that different from her lonely, sad, former one!!!! may was initially hoping this move would be a cure for all her problems, but seeing that she's still the same person as before, and doesn't have a magical effortless personality glow up does go thru a sort of arc of resenting herself. other villagers try to talk to her but she doesn't really try to manage anything further than small talk. She does have a sort of mutual understanding with sebastian because of both of their introverted natures, as well as geeky interests that may especially got into over her years of being a social recluse. 

This all changes when she gets into the adventurers guild, and i mean actually get into it, when marlon first offered for her to adventure into the caves full of monsters, she initially brushed it off thinking he was exaggerating. “monsters were just some made up story that only existed years and years ago, they’re practically extinct now!” which was basically may’s thought process, as the city intentionally covers up any news coverage related to any magical or monster related topics. may learns this is very much not the truth the hard way. rip bozo, deserved tbh. After this encounter, she starts frequenting the caves much more often for the adrenaline rush, a way to escape the thoughts plaguing her that she really needed to fix herself, not just her environment. She frequents the guild for more supplies and ends up talking (generous term for her nods and hm’s) more to marlon and gil. At first the two of them do wonder about her quietness, but they’re both used to eccentric characters from other guilds so they’re not too bothered by it. marlon even picks up on some sign language for her to use with him when she doesn’t want to talk. The wizard also becomes quite used to her behavior, being even more accustomed to unconventional characters, he even knows sign language so she primarily uses it to talk to him!! may finally finds people more like her in the form of adventurers and mages, it sort of clicks in her head when she starts to learn a bit of magic with rasmodius. her love for the adrenaline rush of adventuring turns to a genuine love of adventuring itself. She also meets krobus and IMMEDIATELY clicks with him, and spends a dubious amount of time in the sewers because of it (the villagers start giving her weird looks for going into the sewers so much so she starts going in through the forest entrance). bro smells terrible. by her second year in stardew, krobus and may end up becoming roommates. he doesn’t mind her silence, though she does become comfortable talking to him more often. 

Also i wanted to show in the art of her getting progressively more muscular from her work as well as tanner, if any y’all notice her scars forming over the years kudos to u lol. She also cuts her hair year 4 but decides to grow it out again by year 7.. i should also prooooobably address her relationship with lance, considering she does get married to him later on. but i kiiinnddaaa wanna write a small fic about that ngl. i will work up to it or write another post on this later lol. but this is getting too long so i’ll end it at year 3. also she totally fucks with isaac. she may be quiet and socially inept but she fucks with people sooo much. devious in nature

Making a new farmer

His name is Niko and he will take up the in-game mantle of being Isaac's personal menace (He's thirsty for him)

He's friends with Haley and Jeric and is stupidly good with slingshot because he doesn't want to get close to the monsters. (He's trying to mine. Rude.)

Immediately works on automating his farm so he can do nothing the rest of the day. (He needs his beauty sleep).

Became a farmer for the ✨️ aesthetic ✨️ also because his grandmother was so pleased to hear he was given the farm. (He cannot disappoint his grandma). Grows exclusively fruits for wine and flowers because they look pretty.

On days off:

If adventurers (especially busy and in-demand like Lance and Isaac) get any opportunity to sleep in longer, and even something as unattainable as a day off, they take it. At least Lance adheres to this rule, and of the three, is the biggest fan of "five more minutes..." in a warm cozy bed. And will try to keep his two energetic partners snuggling with him.

Isaac is a little more different story: he also doesn't want to miss an opportunity to snuggle in bed with his lovers, but he doesn't like to put things (even the not-so-important ones) off until later. His motto is "sooner you start, sooner you finish," so he needs to get his ass up and write his last mission reports (after a shower and breakfast, of course). But he wouldn't resist too much if several pairs of arms wrapped around his waist and started begging him to lie in bed a little longer.

Also, this grumpy adventurer can start singing his favorite song that "a real warrior gets up at the crack of dawn," but quickly gets a pillow in the face from either Farmer or Lance, and, grumbling, covers his head in the blanket again.

Farmer is usually up at six in the morning and is too energetic for Isaac and Lance. Both adventurers are light sleepers due to their work, and even the creak of the floor can wake the two men. But they go right back to sleep, and Isaac grumbles to Farmer about breakfast as apology "for waking him up." ("I only took one step...").

On days like this, things are usually very leisurely for the trio: a late wake-up, a long bath, a late hearty breakfast, and, depending on whether or not they have anything to do today, they either get to their activities or relax together after 12am.

On regular workdays:

Work is work, but the warm blanket never lets you out of its embrace, and the bed beckons you back... making it so hard for Lance to resist. He's not the least bit lazy, on the contrary, but who doesn't want to lie down and sleep for another five, ten, fifteen minutes.... Lance wakes up on time, not without a bit of sadness that he didn't get to sleep longer (since Isaac and Farmer are already up and waiting for him). Well, at least there's time to wash up, take a bath, and get himself all tidy, with breakfast being made by his lovers (even more time in the bathtub).

Isaac silently, with a stony expression on his face gets up, and immediately heads to the bathroom. One splash of ice water on his face and he walks towards the kitchen to get his breakfast and coffee. Lance and Farmer drag Isaac back into the bathroom to at least take a shower, because "no offense, my soul, but you still reek of monster blood."

Farmer has no problem getting up early - from six in the morning they take a quick shower, eat whatever Lance has prepared (No offense to Isaac, but I don't think this adventurer is the best cook, and he could even burn a salad somehow.), and get on with harvesting and feeding the farm animals.

On normal workdays, their routine doesn't change too much, they just take much less time to do everything: instead of a long soak in a bubble bath - a quick shower, instead of a complicated breakfast something simple and quick like scrambled eggs, for example, and by 8 am everyone is dressed and ready to go to work/adventure.

Emergency:

Wizards of the Republic have the ability to speak to another wizard using telepathy, which is very convenient to save time. Especially when something out of the ordinary happens. Magnus has this as well as other magicians, but I also think that adventurers with a magical gift have the same ability...

"Emergency." Lance will abruptly, as if from a nightmare, get out of bed, and only say those two words. Isaac, who wakes up just as immediately, realizes the words of one of his partners after a couple of moments and abruptly gets out of bed, putting on his hiking clothes and armor. Both rush to get dressed and arrive at the meeting.

With Farmer, the situation will be different depending on whether their presence is required too or not. If not, the two adventurers will leave them to sleep on, and either leave a note or quickly apologize and kiss the sleepy Farmer who woke up to the fiddling of their lovers/spouses.

If, however, Camilla, Magnus, Marlon, or anyone else requires Farmer's presence as well, Lance will start relatively gently but insistently waking them up by talking about an emergency call. If Farmer is a heavy sleeper and five in the morning is too early even for them, then in comes Isaac, who, unlike Lance, will not be ceremonious with Farmer and will kick them out of their warm bed, growling for them to get up immediately.

No bath or shower. No fresh and ironed clothes. You can forget about cooking breakfast, just take everything that is edible (bread, fruit, what's left in the fridge), swords and elixirs and teleport to the meeting place. Maybe Farmer will resent such a rude and abrupt awakening, but they just aren't quite used to the statutes and rules of adventurer/mage society yet. If a wizard/witch/warlock/adventurer with magic speaks of an emergency, it means a threat to an entire settlement, or even the entire Republic.

Thinking about Hestia while I'm sitting on break. Thinking about her connection to magic. How dragons are magic. Why it means every time one dies. Maybe the Badlands are the way they are because of the dragon bones in the southwest corner. Maybe the fact that she was present to absorb the magic kept the forest her mother died in from becoming a wasteland. But maybe more monsters still started appearing. Maybe it still got a strange magical boon. Maybe when her grandfather dies in the Badlands, Apophis gets even more dangerous. Maybe they need to call upon the crystal dragon and her herald to take care of this. Maybe this is the biggest mistake of Isaac's career.

Some smut Lance/Isaac/Farmer headcanons:

Isaac and Lance have an unspoken competition to see who can bring Farmer to orgasm first and whose technique is better.
