Mini-review:

Full disclosure: I'm not a huge fan of BL dramas. They rarely work for me tbh, for a wide variety of reasons that I won't go into right now. From time to time I fall for people's raves about one of these shows, only to end up disappointed. And, while this one is better than average, it didn't impress me that much anyway. There's clearly a strong emotional core at the center of the story, but the episodes are too short and everything feels rushed. The thing that saves it is Lee Tae Vin's performance and his fantastic chemistry with Cha Joo Wan; it's thanks to them that the last two episodes hit a lot better than what comes before. But yeah, it's clear that BLs in general just aren't my thing.

Resources I don't got on me but are incredibly needed: "Hello, I am looking to do freelancing/contract work. How do I do my taxes?" Honestly business/legal advice in general is direly needed. I genuinely think any art curriculum should have at least one required business class because holy shit it is a major gap.

Also advice for animation jobs outside of TV/Film/Video Game animation. I know those are the things people think of when they think of animation, but it's also easy to get pigeonheld into thinking those are the only jobs (or the only *real* jobs) out there.

the past few months I took an animation class taught by the sweet and talented Netta Lahav and this is the final version of my 2D assignment for said class. I learned a lot and had fun! 🥺 character design is based on a modified ver of Kyu Bum Lee's olive rig

Here's an acting exercise I did in toonboom harmony! Trying to build a portfolio while all the animations I'm doing at work will be under a NDA for probably over a year is very challenging :'D but I think this is a good start!

I'd love to talk about my work but can't risk doxxing myself ahaha sorry!!! the only details I can give you is that I've done hand drawn animation and clean up/colouring in both tvpaint and toonboom harmony in the past, and now I'm doing 2D animation with rigs just like what Kyu-Bum Lee animates with!

This isn't professional but here's a very short wip thing where I tried animating Killua on a skateboard back in 2020!
