I decided to just create this post to sum up my final thoughts about the state of Madoka and Homura’s relationship (spoiler caps under the cut btw.)

When I say that Madokami would be unable to kill her own witch if she actually hated being a God, what I really meant is that the universe would not exist if there wasn’t a version of Madoka who had hope.

On top of all this, it would be impossible for Madoka to be unhappy as Madokami because the one thing that Madoka has never wanted to be or see anyone else become is a witch. I don’t think people who think this truly understand how horrible becoming a witch really is or even analyzed the nature of Madoka’s/Homura’s promise.

To become a witch is a fate WORSE than death, you are stuck in a depressing spiral of stagnation as witches don’t age, they can’t even move on or be reincarnated.

Witches can’t even remember who they really are…which is why it’s so devastating when you realize that this was why Madoka asked Homura to put her out of her misery in the timeline where they make their promise. Madoka would literally rather die than become a witch even if it means getting to be with Homura forever.

Madoka becomes Madokami in order to create a better future for the both of them!

(SPOILERS FINAL THOUGHTS BELOW)

In her defense, I do think when Homura turns into Homucifer, she did it because she truly no longer remembers who she really is anymore to the point that she doesn’t even remember why Madoka saved her with Sayaka’s Grief Seed (Madoka wanted to save her from a witch’s fate, from becoming a monster.)

Furthermore, I’m pretty sure Homura doesn’t realize her own error until the scene where she gives Madoka her ribbons back too.

Walpurgisnacht will probably be a retelling of the story of Adam and Eve, where everyone realizes they can’t stay in Eden because humans learn through experience. Human beings need to be able to make mistakes and they literally cannot do that in a Paradise.

…I also hope that Homura realizes that it’s ok to be wrong about something too like I just want her to live a normal life 😭😭😭

I love how when people witch out they have hallucinations of their despair. Wish more magical girl stories would have that sorta concept with the monsters of the week!

With Magia Exedra confirmed to have spin off characters, what characters are you excited to potentially see in 3D?

For me, the ones im wanna see (besides the holy quintet and the mikazuki quintet) are Rena, Kuroe, Corbeau, and Yuna.

With the recent Rumor of Chelation-Land Labyrinth released and getting some promotion that includes Bow-Homura I’m more hyped than ever for future levels.

One idea I have for a level could be focused on “The Last Bird’s Hope” event in Magia Record. Release Kioku for Yuu & Shii and have a level playing through the events of the game

I’m thinking we could be walking through Kuroe’s or Nagisa’s memories. Yu can be the final boss of the level (similar to fighting the Amane Twins or Touka in previous levels)

We could see Yuu & Shi interact, Kuroe and Kuro fighting side by side, more Nagisa content and it could touch on the events of Nagisa’s wish event as well. Overall a lot of potential with the different levels they could do in this game.

Yuu & Shii have such excellent designs and stories and Magia Exedra is the perfect way to introduce them to a wider audience.

My only hesitation is that I have NO IDEA What regular enemies we would be fighting.

As for Kioku I was thinking that Yuu could be a Void-Type Breaker and Shi would work well as a Dark-Type Buffer!

I feel like Kuroe and Kuro should probably be released before the event as well (because I’m sure we’ll get Nagisa alongside Devil Homura in the Rebellion event) Kuroe could be a Dark-Type Breaker or Debuffer and Kuro would definitely be a Light-Type Healer.

Overall looking forward to more levels and saving as many gems as possible for ❄️ Holy Mami ✨
