Hey! I wanted to talk about the Concept Movie and how it relates to Walpurgisnacht Rising (Walpurgis No Kaiten)

First off, I want to say that I think it’s pretty clear that the Concept Movie was sort of a “rough draft” for what eventually became Walpurgisnacht Rising. This movie has been in development for a LOOOOOOONG time and there’s very clear visual evidence to support this. Now, I do agree that there has probably been some changes to the initial idea but I think the trough line remains the same!

-Sayaka and her bandages. We see her with the “Hannibal lector” mask in the concept movie and here her face is covered in bandages. She’s most likely being bound by Homura, unable to tell Madoka the truth. However, we can now see that these bandages serve another purpose-holding in Octavia. We don’t know how Homura’s actions have disrupted the law of cycles and again, we see Octavia in the concept movie fighting a Wraith in the ruins of Walpurgisnacht’s destruction. So my guess is that she’s trying to break free, either becoming to separate entities or finding catharsis and truly fusing together.

- The Green & Orange magical girls are definitely In the concept trailer and we FINALLY get to see them in all their glory. I LOVE THEM ALREADY! Homulilly was initially seen in the PSP game so I think it makes sense for them to be Paola/Quitterie- 2 Witches that were developed around the same time.

-Now as for their role in the story; I predict that the movie with follow a few different perspectives. Sayaka will be attempting to unlock Octavia & discover her true self. This will probably be from the beginning of the movie given how much of it we’ve seen in the trailers. Now I think Green/Orange will initially align themselves with Homucifer but eventually betray her- ultimately working towards their own ends. Green may initially want Madoka to be reunited with the Law of Cycles- but, after finding her unfit to truly challenge Homura choose to go with Mami.

We see her and orange alongside Mami/Nagisa in the trailer. I find it suspicious that we only see Mami in that 1 scene- which makes me believe she has a bigger role that they’re trying to keep secret. 💛Golden Mami💛 And I think Orange is pretending to help Green and Homura while secretly aligning with Kyubey. The other Homura’s may be matured Clara Dolls that Homura is using to keep tabs on everything. And it will all culminate with the Witches breaking free from containment and forming Walpurgisnacht.



I don’t think Nagisa will have it as bad as Sayaka. She seems to be getting along great with Orange/Bear girl and she’s seems to have a better relationship with Charlotte/Bebe than Sayaka ever had with Octavia. I think Kyoko wil be trying to help both Sayaka & Madoka. And, despite her love for food we see her just holding one of the special pastries from the Mami scene. I doubt she’ll trust Green/Orange while Mami- always wanting to find new friends may fall into their trap.

Admittedly I have no idea who “Amalgamation Girl” is. Could she be Kriemhield Gretchen, Spindle Witch, the Law of Cycles, Walpurgisnacht, and New Magical Girl contracted by Homura? I have no clue lmaoo

As for everyone that plays Exedra I think we’ll be getting a lot of new Units from this game that will come out in the months/year following this movie. Here’s a quick list of all the new units I think I we can expect from this movie. Now, all of these will probably slowly be added through 2026-2027 but it’s exciting nonetheless the less!

- Madoka, Homura, Mami, Sayaka, Kyoko, Nagisa, Homucifer, Ultimate Madoka, Green Girl, Orange Bear Girl, Amalgamation Girl, “Homura Clones”, (Golden Mami Maybe) and any new important character(s) that we don’t know about yet

Surprise! I bet y’all forgot I also talk about Star Wars as well lmaooo

To be honest I haven’t felt super inspired to talk about Star Wars recently but with Visions coming out I can feel that Star Wars drive coming back.

I really think that Visions is one of the most innovative storytelling methods that the franchise has and it doesn’t get nearly as much love as it should. With no canon restrictions the creatives really can go wild with their ideas and they’re able to fully infuse their culture into each episode. Seeing it expand to new regions each year gives it such a unique flare tbh.

The Ronin and F are both back and better than ever! The Ronin was such a unique episode and the village bride is by far my favorite Visions EP. I cry every time I heard her speech and I can’t wait to see more from her.

FINALLY A PINK LIGHTSABER-OH HOW I’VE WAITED FOR THESE DAYS!!!!

And I would die for that little bear guy, he’s definitely committed war crimes and he’s perfect in my eyes. Him and nubs hold a very special place in my heart

My favorite character from my favorite Madoka Magica/Magia Record scene! She’s here to liberate all of us!

To be honest I was fully convinced that it would be Ui Tamaki and I was prepared to wait until December to actually get Holy Mami. I was blown away and I can’t wait to pull her, I’ve actually managed to save up 14,00 gems (not a lot I know but it was the best I could do) and I’m praying to Godoka that I get her!

She seems like an incredibly powerful unit who it’s giving Oriko some competition. I initially thought she’d be a light-type or forest-type attacker, but dark-type was a fun surprise. She’s really has reached her breaking point and unleashed her full power. I was initially surprised that she wasn’t a limited character, given how powerful she is. But we’ve already had 3 limited summer units, so another limited unit following all that up probably wouldn’t have gone over well in the fandom.

Excited to see Embryo Eve’s 3D model and how her portrait looks. I hope we get to fight Holy Alina as well. I wish we got the opportunity to go against Uwasa Tsuruno as well.

And we’ve seen her fighting against a powered up yachiyo as a 3-D model so I really hope it’s a decently long sequence. CAN WE PLEASE GET A 3D CANDELORO/FLORENCE 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Now I’m going to attempt to predict the Gacha lineup for the rest of the year, let’s see how right I am by February lmao. First off- we usually get like 2-sometimes 3 units per month so that’s going to be the basis for this theory.

September:

Ui Tamaki- They already have her model (as seen in promotion) and she comes back at the end ofArc 1 of Magia Record. Seems like a perfect match given that we’re getting the final labyrinth for Magia Record. I’m guessing she’ll be a Light-Buffer.

Mifuyu Azusa- They announced a portrait *I think* with the next labyrinth and obviously she plays a pretty important role. It would be an amazing way to round out the Wings of the Magic’s before Arc 2. Dark-Breaker is my guess.

Uwasa Tsuruno- Another character that appears at the end of Magia Record. A cool character that, if they want to, could appear as another unit this month. I’m gunna go with a Forest-Buffer.

October:

Devil Homura- I believe that Rebellion will be announced during the Magia Day 2025 Half Anniversary. Rebellion could/should take up the entire month and have it be a huge event for the game. They teased her model along with Nagisa so I’m certain we’ll get her before the end of the year, and October seems like the perfectly spooky month for Devil Homura. Dark-Debuffer (Limited Character)

Nagisa Momoe- Mostly the same reasoning as Devil Homura. Dark-Breaker seems likely to me.

November:

Nagisa Momoe (Scene 0)- We also know that Part 2 of Scene 0 will be released this year and they’ll need a character to promote with this. An easy recolor that I would unironically love to get given they we missed out during the Magia Record days. Void-Healer.

Koito Asako- She was leaked a few months back and we all kinda assumed she’d be released alongside Doppel-Iroha. She’s weirdly missing so I’m gunna just throw her in here as a fun final character before December. Water-Buffer.

December:

Holy Alina- She’ll probably show up at the end of the Embyro Eve Labyrinth so she seems like a no brainer for Christmas time. A Forest-Attacker works perfectly and gives her great synergy with Nemu. She’ll probably be a Limited unit as well.

February:

Madoka & Homura (Walpurgisnacht Rising)- Once February hits I think we’ll be getting a lot of Walpurgisnacht Rising merch, News, and collaborations between the game and movie. I could see them running a banner with the 2 of them in the new Magical Girls outfits once the movie I released. I think they’ll both be Light/Dark units but without context I can’t theorize anymore than that.

Witches, Bros, Nonbinary Hoes…. Walpurgisnacht Rising (Walpurgis No Kaiten) is almost here!!!

And can I just say, look how fucking biblical this movie looks! Such a gorgeous reference to the “Creation of Adam” and god, look how beautiful this is. It feels like a renaissance painting. Really hammering in the Gerter/Faust references. I really need this poster hung up on my wall immediately. Such a work of art.

We’ve gotten so much new information from just a 30 second trailer. Now it’s theory time!!!

I think all the phones surrounding Madoka (A lot of phone imagery in this movie- I think communication or the lack there of is going to be a huge theme of the film) will be the Magical Girls she can’t save due to being cut from the Law of Cycles attempting to reach out to her for salvation.

It seems like Madoka will be on a trip to figure out who she really is while Sayaka is investigating the truth about Witches. Showing Octavia bursting out of her eye, it seems like her wrappings are hiding her “true” form.

And we finally got to see the fully designs for the Holy Quintet, and god they look SO GOOD. Don’t get me wrong, I love their OG designs but these designs really feel like they’ve grown and changed in this new world. Seeing the new magical girls as well is so hype! They’re definitely the girls from the concept movie! My theory is that orange-hair is bear girl/quitterie! She seems to be working alongside orange hair and Kyubey, potentially being swayed to aid Kyubey in whatever evil deeds it has planned. While Green-hair seems more focused on Mami from what I gather from the trailer, and she’s seen threatening? Madoka with Paola’s familiars. I did initially think that green-haired was Gertrude but now I’m not so sure. She has yellow ribbons in her outfit so perhaps she’s Candeloro? I have no clue but I’m excited.

Sayaka is facing the horrors TM while Mami is simply ✨vibing✨

I really think we’ll see some different worldviews come out between the different members of the Quintet. Keep Nagisa safe at all costs!!!

Also- Amalgamation Girl & Walpurgisnacht have been incredibly absent to these most recent trailers. From the subbed audio we see Homura in her new Magical Girl outfit talking to some calamity and naming is “Walpurgisnacht” and I can’t wait to see the potential formation of Walpurgis.

Also, Magia Exedra News! So many gifts and quality of life updates to the game, really making it go bigger and better. I was able to pull Doppel of Silence- Iroha (Yay!) and I’m hoping to pull Summer-Mami. Really happy the Scene 0 pt.1 has been added to Main Story as well!

Yay! Touka & Nemu are finally here and it’s great! Touka is an excellent flame-breaker and she was a massive help with Octavia, I was lucky to get her in the free 10-pull. And I really like how thoughtful they were with Nemu, she feels “future proofed” to aid other debuffers & forest-type characters in the future.

I never got Doppel-Iroha 😭 so I’m ready for the opportunity to roll for her again. Looking forward to Yachiyo’s, Mifuyu’s, and Touka’s Doppels to be released!

Alina is coming as well and I’m gunna take a guess that she’s a light or forest type attacker. Let’s see if I’m right. I can’t wait to eventually get Holy Alina (I hope we get to fight Neo Dorothy Fucker sometime) However, as much as I love Alina I’m saving up gems and only doing the free 10-pulls. Gotta save up because I think they’re gunna announce another limited banner during the next livestream! (Looking at you Holy Mami!)

Speaking of the next livestream we’re finally getting more Walpurgis no Kaiten news!!! I’m gunna guess that’ll it will simply be a new trailer and a release date (praying it’s not another delay) and possibly showing off new models from the movie. It don’t think we’ll get new units from the movie this soon but there may show them off and announce when there banner is. It would probably be Madoka or Homura in their new magical girl outfits.

I’ve been moving through the game at a pretty slow pace, I really want to enjoy each level and give my new characters time to shine. I’ll probably make a new post in the future with speculation on the new movie and any more news we get.

What would your guy’s dream team look like for Magia Exedra counting all characters they could put into the game in the future?

Also- for everyone who’s played through Arc 2 of Magia Record, how strong would you say Kimochi-Lavi & Historia-Yachiyo are in lore compared to other characters?

So I just finished Kazumi Magica, and I gotta say, I gently enjoyed it.

Now, first and foremost some of the outfits are ROUGH, there’s no reason for some of the girls, literal children, would be wearing those outfits. Thankfully this gets better towards the end of the manga and Kazumi’s new outfit is gorgeous!

Now I hope with Magia Exedra they’re able to give us more characters from the Spin-off Manga that were never released in Magia Record. I would kill to get Satomi in the game! Seeing characters like Sasa from Oriko, or Mirai, Kanna, or the Souju twins would be fantastic and there’s a lot of potential there for fun game mechanics (especially with the twins).

Kind-of an obscure pick but I think adding in some of the Mobage girls could be fun. They’re super obscure but I would love to see them get some more spotlight.

Another weird pick would be pulling some stuff from the Concept Movie- and this is all depends on how close Walpurgisnacht Rising is to that initial idea. I hope that they’re quite similar because I love the Concept trailer but if not, I think some of the girls from that trailer/golden mami would work as really fun Limited Banners.

Now I’ve been rambling a lot but if I had to pick just 1 thing to add to the game *besides better gem drops* would be PLAYABLE WITCHES. Again, it seems like there will be some fun with stuff in the movie but I don’t think playable witches would spoil anything.

First off- the Kioku art alone would be gorgeous!

And Second, just imagine having a Gertrud, Candeloro, or Homulilly on your team. I mean they already did Ultimate Madoka and have the 3d models so doing some of the bigger witches couldn’t be that insane. Overall, I just think there’s a lot of untapped potential that could be explored later down the line and I want to see this game flourish.

We finally got Scene 0 in Magia Exedra!

As much as I wanted it to be a permanent labyrinth I’m glad that we’re getting so much content in the event. I believe that they’re gunna be rolling it out in two parts, and that will definitely give it room to breath, and the quality of the story really shows.

You can tell the developers felt passionate about Scene 0, with the added title screen, voice acting, music, etc found in the event.

I was able to get Mabayu as well pretty early on which was nice! After not being able to get Doppel-Iroha I’m glad that the Gacha gods showed favor on me. I wanted to be able to play through the event with Mabayu so I was stoked to get her! I was expecting her to be Void-Type but I think Light definitely suits her more (with her light magic it just makes sense tbh)

With them releasing multiple versions of the same character I think a Nagisa *Scene 0 version* would be such a cool addition. I’m sure they’re saving her for the Rebellion release but If they release part 2 afterwards then it’s still possible.

I’m gunna predict regular Nagisa is gunna be a Dark-Breaker and that a scene 0 version could be a Void-Buffer (given that she’s not actually a magical girl but a “witch”) plush her color swap is so cute!

The Amane-Twins are back! I’m excited to see them and a Light-Buffer and Dark-Breaker makes sense. I think they’re cool and a nice addition but I’m probably gunna be saving my gems for a bigger character like Alina, Nemu, or ✨Holy Mami✨ Good Luck Pulling!!!

Heyyy, so yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of The Acolyte premiering and I honestly miss this show so much.

It felt like a return to form in a lot of ways and watching it brought me right back to how I originally felt watching the prequels for the first time. The mystery, fight choreography, costumes, storytelling, and world building were all fantastic and it truly was so thrilling.

This show had everything going against it and still managed to be incredible. There were people hating on this show since the announcement and ever since the cast was announced it received unparalleled amounts of racist/misogynistic hate. It’s a shame we won’t get another season but I’ll still hold this close to my heart.

Seeing the High Republic shown to a bigger audience for the first time was so fucking cool and I’m never gunna pretend like it wasn’t. I’ve been following the high republic since its announcement all those years ago and seeing Vernestra in live action, the great disaster mentioned, Jedi Vectors, and those perfect gold robes really was something.

The High Republic really does feel like such a safe space in the Star wars fandom and I feel like that group has only gotten closer after this show.

I love so much about this show and could honestly ramble for hours but I think, if I had to pick just 1 part that was my favorite, was how it depicted the force. People can fall to the dark side for many reasons: out of selfishness, anger, hate, and even love. Seeing Osha’s story come together was tragic in the most beautiful way possible and I think she has so much room to grow into a fully realized force user. The way it tackles prejudice, colonization, and different forces religions was haunting for this franchise that I really enjoyed.

Anyways, stream the acolyte and please read the High Republic novels if you haven’t already!!!

With the recent Rumor of Chelation-Land Labyrinth released and getting some promotion that includes Bow-Homura I’m more hyped than ever for future levels.

One idea I have for a level could be focused on “The Last Bird’s Hope” event in Magia Record. Release Kioku for Yuu & Shii and have a level playing through the events of the game

I’m thinking we could be walking through Kuroe’s or Nagisa’s memories. Yu can be the final boss of the level (similar to fighting the Amane Twins or Touka in previous levels)

We could see Yuu & Shi interact, Kuroe and Kuro fighting side by side, more Nagisa content and it could touch on the events of Nagisa’s wish event as well. Overall a lot of potential with the different levels they could do in this game.

Yuu & Shii have such excellent designs and stories and Magia Exedra is the perfect way to introduce them to a wider audience.

My only hesitation is that I have NO IDEA What regular enemies we would be fighting.

As for Kioku I was thinking that Yuu could be a Void-Type Breaker and Shi would work well as a Dark-Type Buffer!

I feel like Kuroe and Kuro should probably be released before the event as well (because I’m sure we’ll get Nagisa alongside Devil Homura in the Rebellion event) Kuroe could be a Dark-Type Breaker or Debuffer and Kuro would definitely be a Light-Type Healer.

Overall looking forward to more levels and saving as many gems as possible for ❄️ Holy Mami ✨

I will forever defend Wraith Arc and I wanted to expand on my thoughts for a labyrinth for Magia Exedra.

Obviously the wraiths would be basic enemies and, as we work through each level the wraiths level up as well. We could start fighting the basic wraith, then acolyte wraiths-Enlightenment Wraiths-Deliverance Wraiths. The final boss of the level could be the Spindle Witch.

We’ve never gotten to see the spindle witch in color and that’s a fucking crime. Suleika looks SO GOOD in the game and I think the spindle witch deserves that some treatment.

They should run a Kioku banner for Bow-Homura and Wraith-Madoka “Wraithdoka”. For Homura I’m think she should remain as a dark-attribute attacker but with a different skill. And Wraith Madoka should be a Void-attribute debuffer. Those seem like the best options in my opinion but feel free to disagree.

I finally got a a hard copy of Wraith Arc and rereading it has me excited for the potential for finally seeing it appear and hey, I didn’t make it to Magia Record so here’s our chance!

I’ve really been loving Madoka Magia Exedra and I can’t wait for future events. I never got the opportunity to play Magia Record 😭 but this game has been so much fun. I genuinely log in every day to play a level, event, and earn supplies. The Gacha system is admittedly evil but Im thankful with how lucky I’ve been.

I got a free Mami off the daily free Madokami pull!!!

With the rumored Doppel-Iroha on the way *which I’m hyped for* I think this opens the door for a lot of fun characters. Obviously all characters with Doppels could have new kioku but the game could really do something special for Candeloro & Ophelia.

They could release labyrinths for these two witches at the same time they release the Doppel Mami/Kyoko banners. We never got them as bosses for Magia Record so it would be nice to bring them back from the PSP game. Imagine exploring these areas, it would be breathtaking for sure!

On that note, I’m hoping that we get a new labyrinth when they release Mabayu instead of an event but that’s just me.

I’m hoping for a lot of hype when the Rebellion story gets released as well.

ALSO- while im here, i really hope wraith arc gets some love. Getting o fight wraiths for the first time, Bow-Homura Kioku, wraith-Madoka, what more could you want!?

Happy May the Fourth!!! I hope everyone is doing well during these insane times we’re living in lol. We got the new “Tales of the Underworld” today and it was an overall good experience. I’d say that I enjoyed Tales of the Empire/Jedi more but it was still pretty good.

First up the the Asajj Ventress story, overall I’d give it a 8/10. Seeing her break out of her old habits and grow to be a better mentor/eventual Jedi was nice and I really think it layed the groundwork well for her story moving forward.

Lyco was a cool addition and his dynamic with ventress was fun, reminded me of Ahsoka’s rapport with Asajj during the Clone Wars. The Native/Non-Binary rep was also great, really cool seeing people like me in the Star Wars Universe.

Oh- and Quinlon’s new model was GORGEOUS and in begging lucasfilm to use him more in the Maul show.

I’m also a HUGE inquisitor fan so seeing the new inquisitor actually put up a fight in EP 1 was cool to see. I feel like they’ve learned there lesson and really allowed him to shine. I’m hoping that he gets more development in the future and it won’t take years for him to get an official designation.

He’s lowkey the strongest inquisitor after the Grand Inquisitor if you think about it. I think Marrok, Trilla, and Iskat. are the only ones that really compare.

The Cade Bane story was cool, not exactly something I feel like we “needed” but it gave a nice backstory for him that we probably wouldn’t have been able to get anywhere else. Which really should be the point of the “Tales-Of” series.

His story was tragic but I see how his choices really pushed him into the person he became. He had a rough past but he choose to became the monster he is today. I really enjoyed his friend and connected with him and the twist at the end I absolutely DID NOT see coming. I really hope we see Bane’s son in the future somehow. I could see him returning in Maul’s new show.

Overall it was a good time and I’ve really enjoyed the tradition of having either Visions/Tale-Of every year for May the 4th. I’m looking forward to how all the loose ends from Tales of the Empire, Bad Batch, and Jedi-Fallen Order series all tie in moving forward.

If Ash ever comes back in the anime I hope that he’s 1) Aged up with the time skip and 2) I think he deserves a new team to celebrate.

I would want him to be a mentor figure for Liko, Roy, and Dot. A sort of older brother figure and obstacle for them to overcome. He’s sort of their “Leon” and could fill the role of Juliana/Florian from the games. Due to the show taking place after the events of the game we can say that Ash already traveled through Paldea. If so, here’s the team I would give him.

1) Pikachu- Goes without saying, would love to see him face Cap

2) koraidon- He traveled with him while going around Paldea and is his “boss” legendary. Similar to Liko’s Terapagos and Roy’s “assumed” Rayquaza.

3) Dudunspace (3-segment) Ash has never been able to catch a dunsparce, and what better that to give him the rare 3-segment form to show what the world champion can do. The sleep “rowlet” type Pokemon of the team.

4) Annihilape- I imagine we went back and found his old Primeape, evolving it into a beast of a fighter.

5) Ogerpon- Ash experienced the events of the DLC, having a rivalry with Kieran over Ogerpon choosing to travel with Ash. She’s sweet and offers an adorable factor to the team.

6) Mega Lucario- the only other returning Pokemon, Ash’s lucario can serve as a mentor to Roy’s shiny lucario.

Seeing the Celebration Announcement for “The Ronin” has been hyped for more Visions figures down the road.

First off, the quality of the packaging itself, and then the wired soft-goods robe and droid really delicate the figure. This is what Black Series figures should be, and hopefully we’ll get to S.H figurearts levels of quality & accessories. I’m technically a vintage collection collector but i definitely pick up Black Series figures if they really strike me.

I’d love to see more Visions figures get made in both scales.

F is from my favorite Visions EP in the whole series and I desperately need a figure of her. Lop & her droid would be a unique sculpt for the line while Juro is just such a badass and would look great on the shelf. And finally, The Bandit Leader Kuro is a must so we can display her battling the Ronin.

From S2, Aau and the Sith Mother both have very different but incredibly unique designs while the Jedi & Sith from “Journey to The Dark Head” are such a perfect pair. That Sith design is so dark & sleek, imagine that chain lightsaber on the shelf!

My hopes are that we get a Celebration announcement of a High Republic figure that has such grand packaging like this. An Avar, Stellan, or Marchion would be a ✨Dream✨ collection item and would cap off the publishing event in a nice way I think.

Really excited about this new manga that was announced recently!

Knowing that we’re finally getting more stories set in the sequel era is exciting and it will be interesting to see someone so disconnected from the Jedi try and piece together what it means to be a Jedi knight.

Rey had Luke, Leia, and the ancient Jedi texts and she now has the tools to guide the new generation.

Plus connecting the high republic to this era works soooo well thematically. The Jedi of this era were more open to change and operated more freely within the republic and I think that Rey’s new Jedi order could return back to these roots while adding more layers of growth. Plus it’s going to be 500+ pages…..we are so not ready for what this book is about to bring. With everything, I know it’s gonna be a rollercoaster from start to finish.

I’ve been keeping up with the High Republic since it was first announced and seeing these characters grow and change has been such an emotional/fulfilling journey. It’s gunna be hard to say goodbye to these characters for awhile. I’m gunna miss em so much. Avar, Elzar, Stellan, Vernestra, Marchion, Bell, Keevee, Xylan Graff, Marda, Kevmo, Loden, Imri, and Gavi all of you will have my heart forever 🫶🏽🫶🏽😭
