Even though the fandom has kinda died and I'm not super active on my tua accounts, I hyperfixated on that show like you wouldn't believe LOL. My most popular AO3 fic is still a Klave fic, and to this day, my proudest writing project ever was the spec script I wrote just for fun over the pandemic :)

I have a lot of complaints about the show (mainly that anything past the first season is garbage and I still kinda prefer the comics LOL) but the pilot season is one of those comfort pieces of media that I can literally quote word for word, I know the episode breakdowns shot by show, I've written hundreds of thousands of words of meta on the characters.

And it's like...really weird, because I came into the TUA fandom from the VC fandom, where I'm consistently the youngest person in the room, but TUA fans are so so much younger than me so it gave me a lot of whiplash and I felt lonely most of the time because I wanted to engage with TUA on the same Heightened Level that I engaged with VC! I wanted to write meta, I wanted to break down the smallest character details! I wanted to talk about character motivations, psychological traumas, pre-canon and post-canon ideas...and I just did not end up finding my niche with folks. Most of my posts ended up being met with crickets, which is fine, but I just think it's really funny after being in the VC fandom for so long!

Anyway, I know this is sacrilegious to say, but as a character, I understand Klaus Hargreeves way better than I do Louis de Pointe du Lac. I spent every single day of my life for 3+ years writing for Klaus on my rp account. I know his speech patterns, his zig-zagging train of thought, his very distinct mannerisms, I know what he eats for breakfast, I know his favorite band, I know what he carries in his pockets, I know what exactly he was doing at any given time, at any given point in his life as a child, teen, or adult.

He feels like an old friend to me, whereas Louis still feels like a bit of an enigma (of course, that has it's own charm and that's why I love him!). I cannot over-emphasize how much this show changed my life and how whole-heartedly I love Klaus Hargreeves :)

David katz was to go undercover and live with the hargreeves. But first, he had to find a way in.

And he may have just done so. Dave arrived at a bar he knew one of the siblings frequented.

Once he spotted the seance, Dave took a seat next to him.

The Umbrella Academy (including Season 2!!!) M/M

I’m a 21+, UK based writer with years of experience. I’m lit and enjoy multi-para/Novella style with focus on quality as well as quantity. I’m open to anything and have no real limits but will always respect yours. Naturally I’m seeking 18+ writers for 18+ characters. Someone fairly regular with replies as I am out of uni at the moment so looking for distraction. Long term. If we vibe as partners, I always prefer open conversation about whether a plot isn’t working for us anymore so we can switch it up. I’m OOC friendly and love sharing bits and pieces I’ve found like art, music etc :D

So. I’ve just binged The Umbrella Academy and I am already aching to write Klaus. I’ve had a lot of experience writing him but I’d love to incorporate some Season Two stuff. It was SO good.

I’d really like someone who won’t shy away from writing other characters. The Hargreeves dynamic is absolutely wonderful and I really want to write some of that too rather than just focusing on a ship. So a partner who likes this too is excellent. I like sharing characters as they come up, but will also happily divvy them out evenly.

Let’s sort that out! Let’s dig into those scenes more. Let’s change things up for these two. If these two are tied with some soulmate invisible string, I wanna explore it. Klaus was there for ages. Let’s age Dave up more to be closer to S1, have Klaus go to him long before Five dropped on the scene and then let’s bring Dave in on the action. Bring me your ideas too!!

- Klaus/Diego

Lots of season 2 potential with these two. We can do a shift where they arrive together or just go from the start where they are together more than we saw. Also open to any sort of AU with those. Cop/Criminal (arrested Klaus who uses his powers to help Diego) or any deal really. A meet in the 60’s AU. Again, bring me your ideas.

Destiny’s Children member. 60’s man who Klaus bumps into. Temporal assassin or commission worker who ends up falling for him, potentially whilst undercover like Lila. Ghost. Open to all.

- Klaus/Crossover character

I’m thinking a Jack Harkness type character who bumps into Klaus in the 60’s. Torchwood is in on it all too. End of the world, destroying the commission etc.
