Merry Christmas from Eartha Kitten! This is our much adored and indulged British blue shorthair cat’s second-ever Christmas (she was born on 28 July 2022). We were concerned with her attacking or climbing the Christmas tree but in fact she’s mostly OK with it. Eartha does like to sit inside the tree and peer out at you from the branches – it seems to satisfy some primitive feline jungle instinct for her. Occasionally I’ll glance over and the whole tree seems to be “trembling” and I know that just means Eartha is stirring around inside it.

So, we've been fairly lucky so far that the cats haven't been quite THIS destructive with the tree as of yet. I have had to fight them away from it a few times, though and they have hunted down an ornament or two. lol Here's hoping that whatever you celebrate, you have a good one. Even if it's just "the weekend". I'll see you again in January with new strips, but will be taking a few weeks off to catch up and relax!

Merry Christmas from That Bad Eartha (Eartha Kitten, that is!). This is her second ever Christmas (she was born end of July 2022) and she's embracing the spirit. For a cat, an empty cardboard box is the greatest gift of all!
