To the general public, the Saurian Hunter appears pragmatic, cold, and to-the-point. Steady, direct, and efficient, he has a utilitarian approach to life, and his exterior coldness tends to discourage people around him from getting close. Appearing to understand more than he lets on, Kinich prefers to keep a distance from others and let everyone else do the talking.

As a core member of the Scions of the Canopy, Kinich is fond of extreme sports, and is said by his companion K'uhul Ajaw to have plunged headfirst off a cliff and lived to see it. Skilled in his abilities as a Huitztlan Saurian Hunter, Kinich assesses commissions and confidently sets prices without a hint of chivalrous decorum, often causing others to look askance at the boy. However, Kinich appears not to be fazed by the opinions of people around him. As long as the price is right, he will fulfill all commissions in a satisfactory manner.

Despite his reserved nature, Kinich has no problem making negotiations or talking back to others when the situation calls for it. In the common occurrence in which Ajaw is bickering with him, Kinich is seen proficiently putting a stop to it, while without succumbing to anger or violence. When Kachina was under pressure in the Pilgrimage, Kinich assisted Mualani in comforting Kachina, despite his eccentric and logic-driven way of doing so. Despite his unfazed and realistic demeanor, he clearly exhibits good intentions and cares deeply about those who manage to get close to him.

the purely technical issue i have with genshin is that they have started to prolong dialogue sections into awfully large bits. it means that if your game crashes or you have to step away from playing or lose connection, you will have to replay a big chunk of unskippable dialogue that you already know, until you get back on track. i really wish we had more stops in between for the game to save and reload safely, even if it’s just teleporting, walking a bit with the character, moving time, anything at all to get out of the dialogue for a break without losing your progress.

There are going to be so many new features as well. Besides, newbies won’t feel all the pain we went through all these years 😭

KINILANI HEADCANONS - - - nsft warning!!

-when they first start dating, its the classic "queer gf and confused straight ally bf" trope which quickly leads to kinich realizing that he too is queer

-mualani is an absolute freak in the sheets and is very open about it. shes not strictly monogamous, is big on destigmatization of sexuality, and is very open about kink

-like shes got kinks youve never even HEARD of

-kinich has zero experience and when they started dating he was very confused about all of this stuff. over time, he became much more confident in himself, his relationships, and his preferences

-their romantic relationship is closed, but they occasionally have a third person join them for fun. kinich brought up the possibility of the traveler and mualani was delighted and immediately went to ask ("wanna fuck my boyfriend?" "...uh...sure??"). it went great

-they have like the healthiest relationship in the entirety of teyvat

-they kick ajaw out whenever they hook up and ajaw is so SICK OF THEM. bro gets the paimon treatment smh

-kinich is more subby in nature (kinda service top-y too??) but theyre both switches
