one of my closest friends came out to me as non binary before i even knew i was trans, i just found out i was the first person they told. they were the first person i told when i found out i was trans.

i was the first person my ex told when she was figuring out her gender.

i was the first person my best friend told when she realized she was bi and not lesbian, when she had been identifying as lesbian for 6 years.

and now, i’m the first person that my girlfriend came out to when she realized she was trans.

this has always been my goal. to provide safety and a space to be vulnerable to my peers and those around me. since i was little ive always wanted to make people feel comfortable. i’m fulfilling that dream.
