@kingkrem I plan to do that with my newest Lavellan too. I ended up doing the reconciliation with my first Lavellan but at the time I didn't have as much backstory as I do now. @tennyo-elf I never let Celene get assassinated because Cole disapproves lol. But I wonder if what Leliana says is true - she basically says that Briala understands the Game better and will make better decisions than Gaspard (who flat out tells you he wants to "increase Orlais' borders") while Gaspard will just be happy that he has the throne he considers rightfully his. I'm also wary of putting Briala in power because of the possibility she could join Solas...

i havent seen the show but i read the book and i think its better as a book? god it must be so stereotypical drama as a show ugh like pretty little liars

honestly it does come off as tho its trying to be a Deep pll or gossip girl or some shit except its mostly gratuitous and offensive, like its such an offensive representation of suicide and bullying and high school culture to me. not to mention the fact that several of these “teenagers” are absolutely covered in tattoos? like they didnt even try casting-wise in that respect and they rounded off the whole season with an obvious season 2 hook of someone else trying to kill themselves. fucking awful

the book does seem better from what i’ve heard and read about it. namely in that it’s ya lit and doesn’t take place over several weeks. like in the show you have to sit through all the other characters trying to cover up their “part” in things, whereas in the book as far as i know it’s just the one kid listening to the tapes over the course of a single night...? which sounds much more palatable to me. and hopefully the book isn’t as graphic in terms of the assaults & suicides, the show was so... voyeuristic about them
