One thing I really do love the Sins of Youth storyline in YJ98 is that really does show how good at Young Justice are at being superheroes.

Because all the adults get de-aged and it’s absolute chaos and they can barely keep their shit together and Young Justice wonders if they’re that bad and the answer is “actually no you’re not, you’re actually doing pretty solid for your age in experience and you’re being held up to an unfair standard that invites more criticism to your actions”

It’s also a fascinating exploration of how adult anxieties are unfairly projected on to teenagers and while they of course still have room to grow and change and mature, the kids are, in fact, alright and actually capable individuals who do need support and guidance but aren’t helpless idiots by any means

Danny tells the Justice league that he is thousands of years old and a powerful ancient entity. He thinks that he is lying, but little did he know that what he said is more true than not.

When Danny tells the just League that he's an ancient entity, he expected to gain some respect and authority. Unfortunately for him, that didn't happen, his appearance and maturity level and later mention of an evil adult version of him all seem to indicate that he is the teenage aspect of a multifaceted being, which leads to the justice league keeping their somewhat condescending attitude towards him after all, no matter how old he technically is he still a teen at heart.

What Danny doesn't know is that the justice league's assumption about him is actually pretty close to the truth. Being clockwork's apprentice, it's a given that Danny has time traveled a lot and for that reason, there are multiple versions of him simultaneously existing at the same time, each of them solving a different problem. In fact, Dan himself still exists as he is the angry aspect of Danny who is there to punish humanity when it goes too far and the version of him who was defeated and later imprisoned is the version of Dan that has overstepped his role.

Even I can’t go there.” Danny stopped and thought for a moment. “I don’t think I’m a god. I’m still half human after all. I guess when my human half dies, I might be considered a god? But there is a distinct possibility my human half won’t die and I’m already a god, too. I won’t really know unless I stop aging.”

Of course, this only brought on a new wave of chaos.

In Young Justice 98 comics Match replaced Kon for like three whole issues and no one noticed.

From Young Justice #17 when Cissie packs all her stuff from the cave,

Till Young Justice #19

And carried over untill this moment in Young Justice Sins Of Youth #1

The person everyone thinks is Kon is actually Match.

And this isn't a one off thing Match did, it happened again in Young Justice #38 when Bart and Tim left the team but this time he was jokerized for some reason but the girls still think it's Kon trying to cheer them up (cus they were in a war the last issues)

Superboy comes back all confused because he was having a Heart to Heart with Supergirl on top the statue of liberty

Match does this twice in YJ alone. I can only assume he's done it in other comics too. It's kinda funny but sad like no one notices?

Haven't we always wanted to see an adaptation of a novel we love? Cast actors in our heads, wondered how impressive action scenes can be translated from page to screen…

These polls are using the novel’s category, so something that is seen as a BL tv series might have been adapted from a non-BL novel, for example, and therefore will be in ‘Other’ instead of ‘Danmei’

Best can mean what you want, either most faithful or most able to translate the feel of the novel even if elements have been changed.
