Jason Voorhees:

Jason was scared half-to-death (see what I did there ? 😂) when he saw that rotten bride just sprang out from the very earth he usually buries the bodies of his victims in. Not gonna lie, he kinda ran back to his cabin when he saw you—‘cause if his mama taught him anything ? It was that dead people don’t come back to life for no good reason. The poor boy locked himself up twice. But, it wasn’t enough to stop you. You eventually came in and started haunting him. He tried to shoo you away at first because Jason likes his loneliness, his space. Actually, he doesn’t like people in general—dead or alive. So, Jason tried everything to get rid of you. He swung his axe at you and tried to catch you or trap you, but all his efforts were fruitless. He finally gave up and let you haunt him. But, he didn’t regret it. As you are a ghost, you could guard his home and warn him of any danger nearby. It was nice having someone watching over his back for once.

…But then, you saw it.

The machete that killed you.

On his wall.

You looked back at Jason and your undead heart squeezed in your chest. Had he…? Was he the one who had killed you ? On your wedding day nonetheless ? Wasn’t he your Victor ? And if not. Who was he ?

Brahms Heelshire:

Brahms likes to play pretend. He dreamt of having that special someone he could one day propose to and have his happy ever after moment. He was thinking about it and had one of those gummy rings he had saved from his snack time. He was in the forest and had decided to have himself a little repetition for the unforeseeable future and that’s when he saw one peculiar branch that looked like a finger. He didn’t think more about it and did his little game of pretending…and when he put the ring on the finger. Well…He certainly didn’t expect some half-rotten bride to spurt out of the earth and shout:

"I DO."

But it did. That happened. And then, you wouldn’t leave him—not that he minded. Far from it. He was happy to have a wife (even though the kisses and hugs were a lil’ cold) He wondered about telling people about his…well…new ‘bride’. But, he thought better of it when he realised how lonely and sad you were. It didn’t matter that you called him Victor. Or Marvin. Or Hector. Or Derek for that matters…He would take any name if it meant you would stay and love him. And you had said ‘I do’. No takebacksies now.

Michael Myers:

Michael was confused when he first saw you sprang up from the earth. Weird. His victims usually stayed dead. He tried to stab you but…Oops. Already dead. He quickly realised that you must be like Jack Torrance—a ghost. He also understood that stabbing you would be a waste of time. He tried to ignore you, but you would then appear at random times and tell him that you were married and that he was your Victor. As Michael doesn’t speak, he couldn’t rectify you.

Hence, he became ‘Victor’ to you.

At the end, he learnt to tolerate your presence. Especially at night when he would normally sleep alone with his regrets, he would feel your hand stroking his head and your voice singing him lullabies…Maybe having a dead bride wouldn’t be that bad…?

One day, you showed him an old picture of you. He looked at it and you could see that something was bothering him. You asked him about it, but he didn’t say anything. He didn’t tell you he remembered you. He didn’t tell you he remembered your wide frightened eyes when he plunged his knife deep into your heart the day you were supposed to marry…or the way he mercilessly beheaded your betrothed.

That was a story he would rather never share with you.

Fall has come.

Warm colored leaves whisking in the cold blowing winds.

And so much rambunctious chatter teemed the atmosphere.

The annual Halloween carnival fair has arrived.

"Fushiguro! Let's go on that ride next!" Yuji cheered enthusiastically as the pair rode the flaming pumpkin head shaped go bumper car.

"Fine fine! Just keep your eyes on the – ACK!" Megumi grabbed those mochi cheeks of Yuji's to make him face forward, both jerking forward as they got slammed in up front by another go cart.

"Itadori-kun! Eyes on the road!" Junpei laughed.

"You two can get it on later, ya know~" Ino teased, grinning, innuendo jokes going hard.

"Ino-san, please don't egg him on." Megumi grumbled, bashfully avoiding eye contact.

"If he wants to, sure." Yuji made it all seem so simple.

"WHAT!?" All three exclaimed in shock, startling the other drivers and passerby, earning him a hard yank on his tiger hood.

Mingling outside a food booth

"Mmm, umai~!" Nobara's eyes lit up with actual stars in them as she eyed her crepe with bat and spider sprinkles paired with chocolate sauce. "Delicious and Insta-worthy~! Maki-san, what do you think?"

She smacked her lips in afterthought, eyeing the"With the black and orange dyed cone, matching sherbert ice cream gave off that spooky pizzazz to put one in the festive mood "Not bad. Too much though."

"Hmm … then finding the best cammable sweets for Maki-san is our goal for this all Hallows Night!"

"Don't go overboard, baka." Maki bopped her on her crowned head, endearingly smiling. "Cause we're burning all this sugar in our workout tomorrow."

Nobara saluted. "Yes ma'am!"

From down the road, sitting at a mini table set up outside another food both, Mai scoffs at the sight. "Maki, what do you see in that girl?"

Giving heated glares to some passerby that were giving cat calls to Mai, Momo "Your envy is warranted but not tonight. Now have a spooky berry." Momo plopped a bloody frosted one from her decorated strawberry coffin into her partner's mouth.

"Out of all the people, she chose to date … her." Mai muffled through her full mouth.

"I heard that, you know." The Kyoto pair looked up to see Mai's twin and her bae standing there; Maki a bit facially irked whereas –

"We BOTH heard!" Nobara's seething face was too close for Mai's comfort; Maki restraining her from going feral, though Mai looked undisturbed.

Oh? I didn't see you there." Mai's false smile had Nobara shooting steam out of her nostrils.

"She means well." Momo; understanding Mai's protectiveness over her twin, just sat there and ate those berries away.

The baseball struck gold as the bottle tower collapsed with ease.

"Alright Nanami-san! Perfect aim as always!" Haibara cheered, clapping before pointing at the prize he wanted hanging above their heads. "How many prize booths does that make now?" Haibara beamed, arms full of stuffed toy prizes.

"This would be the fifth one. I believe we've reached a moderate amount at this point." Nanami stated, adjusting the strap keeping the star spangled shield on his back, as they walked off with their reward.

"Yeah. This is more than enough for my sister. Thank you. So here." Picking up his latest prize, he handed the Iron Man chibi doll to his beau. "As a token to remember this night."

Nanami was so taken back by the gesture. "Then you keeping this one would even things up." He plopped that Cap chibi plush right on Haibara's face.

Haibara nuzzled the Cap plush with his cheek. "I'll follow you to the ends of the Earth … Kento."

God, Nanami's heart was getting ready to burst right outta him! "Yu …" Looking straight ahead, he shyly blushed as he kept a hand on Yu's back just in case. "I'll never forget."

On a park bench, viewing the fair from across the way, the two ruggedly dressed drinking buddies were hogging the bench.

"You know spying is a bad look for you, Zen'in."

"Shut it. It's Fushiguro now, remember?" And yet, propped against the back of the bench, Toji kept glancing at his wolf eared teen son walking with his fellow sorcerer buddies through the festive grounds evidently content regardless if he was smiling or not.

"Just go say to your kids already, you big old wuss."

Downing some booze, Toji sighed. "Nah. It's better this way. Besides, his two new papas would kill me in cold blood if I got even close."

"You're actually pissed you didn't get invited to their group gathering." Shiu drolled, getting bonked in the back of the head by Toji's half empty bottle.

"Still though, nothing like a drink and a smoke outside to spend the night away." Shiu mused, smoke slipping through his lips.

Toji's semi bored eyes suddenly became focused as they trained on a former target that now alluded to his sights after slipping inside one of the many houses of horrors littered around the fair grounds.

Holding hands tightly, Riko and Kuroi jolted and squeaked among the many other costumed attendees from every jump scare triggered by the gory horrifying figures coming every which way.

"Riko-sama, it's okay if you don't want to keep going."

"No! I can be brave through this! Just to rub it in those two's smug ass faces! I can do this – mmph!" She bumped into someone's back amiss her self encouragement. Looking up into the blackest eyes of Count Choso who bluntly uttered.

"Boo."

Riko's terrified screams didn't startle Choso in the slightest as she flailed, losing balance, and falling into Kuroi's arms.

"Sorry about him, Amanai-chan. Just trying to get him in the spooky spirit is all." Yuki's head popped out from behind him, apologetically smiling.

"An incarnated object … in the flesh!" She was as terrified as she was astounded at being in his presence, especially when he punched a screeching animatronic that got too close for comfort.

"Another former Star Plasma Vessel." Choso pointed out dryly.

"I chose my own path going forward of my own free will, same as you. No need to be so blunt about it." Riko stuck her tongue out at the somewhat irked hybrid man.

"Riko-sama, let's get going. We're holding up the others behind us." Kuroi cautioned.

"Yes yes, we're wasting precious time here! The night is still young after all!~!" Not wanting to get kicked out and sued by those running the house, Yuki dragged those three out to the exit, barreling through puzzled exclaiming normies.

In a mock up Haunted Mansion ride, Kokichi stayed stiff but flustered as Miwa held his hand, hugged his arm, and cuddled up next to him in their automatic carriage seat for two.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" She curiously wanted to know.

He nods, fidgeting a bit. "And you?"

"Yes … I'm with you, after all." Miwa's genuine smile spoke volumes to how true she meant it.

"Good." He kissed her cheek all feather-like, earning a glow from her face before she peppered his face all with lipstick kisses, to his dopey smiling face.

"Oh my precious students!" That alerted the two as they spotted their sensei tearing up, to which her date used her Zero plush to pat away those tears.

"Just ignore us. We'll keep mingling with our brethren, that's all." Shoko waved to them, lounging in the fake graveyard setting.

"Not if we get kicked out over it!" Utahime panicked.

"Eh, no big deal." Shoko's usual apathetic shrug.

"You promised me you wouldn't act like THOSE TWO – MMPH!" Utahime got shushed by a smooch. Zero's nose lit up red, smooshed in between them, pouting as they parted. "You don't play fair."

Shoko rubbed her nose against Utahime's, mixing her faded blue powder with her white face powder, smiling proudly. "You make it too easy."

Outside, in a corn maze, Toge was looking ahead over the tops, carried on Panda's shoulders,

"Tsuna Tsuna."

"Go right?"

"Shake."

"Got it. Oh, Yuta, why must you leave us in your wake!? We barely see him anymore! Now he left us behind in this maze!" Panda dramatically tearfully shouted to the heavens.

"Mentaiko."

Turning this and that way, they finally found Yuta. On the hay covered ground. With Rika laying atop him.

"T–Toge! Panda! Uh … I can explain everything! I – It was just a slip –!" Yuta sweated bullets.

"He still cushioned my fall. You're always looking out for me, Yuta, my love~!" Rika gushed.

While he remained calm on the surface; that and his mouth was covered in wraps, Toge was irked at seeing his close friend being smothered by his lifelong love.

"If you two wanted to be alone, all you had to do was say so." Panda suggestively said.

"Uh, that's not – AH!" Getting pulled up to their feet, Yuta blushed at how intense Inumaki's gaze held him with such devotion. Ruffling his hair, Toge was now turning red from what those wraps didn't hide, Yuta laughed a bit at the cute sight, before Panda bear hugged them all. "I – I missed you all too!"

Leaning against the fenced borders of the exit, Kusakabe-sensei stood beside his fellow Scarecrow; a display maybe but still, staying steer clear of any unwarranted hassle.

"Kids … naively enjoying normalcy despite our true reality. As long as I don't get screwed over in the long run, I'm –!"

A clown faced balloon got thrusted in his face.

"Take one. Enjoy yourself. I mean it."

Principal Yaga, handing out spooky themed balloons to adorably costumed kids passing by with their parents, still noticed the somber fear in his eyes. Speaking of kids –

"Come on, uncle! Mom is waiting for us!"

Yaga smiled at seeing Atsuya being dragged off by his Batman dressed nephew, willing to let his guard down for the little guy, a bat shaped balloon in his small gloved hand.

Mei cackling as money rained the sky. "Thinking you can trick me out of my wits," Men with wounded pride crumbled around her. "Only to be treated to my heart's content." They should never have bet straight outta their wallets. "Now that's what I call the best treat ever~!" She was that good at the shooting ranges. And darts. And slamming the hammer to ring the bell.

"Nee-sama, on top, as always~! Perfection~!" Ui applauded in his own odd unsettling way that only his elder sister enjoyed as she laughed madly.

Noritoshi hoped Miwa and the girls' choice of costume for him wouldn't make him feel so … out of his comfort zone. And yet, the various fangirls that adored the character he portrayed had them taking him up on both sides, hugging him arms and giggling nonstop at how fine he looked. Guess letting his hair down and loose made the look really sell. Still …

"I cannot tell if this is better than dealing with curses … or worse."

Getting dragged off to God knows where, an overwhelmed Noritoshi passed the masked Ijichi-san who was mesmerized by Nitta-san as the princess she is inside and out, twirling on the bridge. "I'll make sure not to lose my glass slipper~!" She cheekily jokes.

"I'd gladly carry you should you ever lose them." Ijicji bravely offered.

"Oh thank you Ichiji-san, but I'll manage. Right, Anata?"

All she got from the tarp draped ghost of her teen brother was jerky nodding and an "Eep!"

"He's really shy. But that makes him that much more precious to me~!" She hugged her startled embarrassed tarp brother.

It brought tears to Ichiji's eyes, sniffling. "Ah sibling love … so pure!"

And for Todo. Yeah, a Takada-chan Halloween themed concert was happening nearby. And yes he got tickets to see her. Cross dressed as his #1. The man will wear it with the utmost unbridled pride and joy for his Takada-Chan. And he'd lose it seeing her dressed as the best half angel half devil in history. "Pure and forbidden to all … the perfect balance … that's my Takada-chan~" He'd be on Cloud 9 yall!

SNAP!

"Ooh, another one!" Nanko cheered.

FLASH.

"New pose time." Mimiko softly suggested.

CLICK!

"Okay, one more!" Tsumiki added.

Posing and taking photos with cosplayers of their fave online idols in their demon slayer outfits was too much fun for all those involved.

"PHOTO BOMB!"

A Wassup Ghostface popped up above Nanako's head. Followed by a Viper one appearing between Mimiko and Tsumiki's faces. Startling away their cosplaying acquaintances.

"Our own papas giving us heart attacks, unbelievable!" Nanako complained.

"It was a good scare, though." Mimiko clapped a bit.

"It made my heart jolt right out of my chest!" Tsumiki exclaimed.

"Huh? Where's Mama, though?" Nanako asked.

"She's missing." Mimiko noted.

"I thought you three would all arrive together." Tsumiki reminded them.

Gojo pulled up his mask to beam at them. "Not to worry, girls. The Mrs is fine. Quite fine, actually~" Gojo's purring tone at how fine you looked in your costume did not go unnoticed as the girls mock gagging into their hands.

Geto also pulled his mask up to peck their foreheads. "You girls keep having fun…not too much, though." Geto wanted the best for his girls too, but not around unsavory company.

"Yes, Geto-sama." The twins kissed his cheeks before dragging Tsumiki off to rendezvous with Megumi's group.

The big question.

Where are you in all this?

Photographing the moments, of course.

Entrapping these precious once in a lifetime memories.

Looking over them all from afar, your tender smile gave way to a wave of attachment as tears pricked your vision behind that mask.

This fragile tender peace amiss this cursed world was what you sought-after.

Swaying from the overflow of sentiment, empathy and affection you felt for this found family had you shaking in your actual costumed boots.

"Tell me …" You felt his cursed energy appear immediately, hovering right behind you. "What's your favorite scary movie?"

You felt giddy, butterflies flocking your nerves, smiling nervously underneath your mask. "This one." You pointed at yourself. "Duh." You giggled as he glomped you from behind, lifting your mask off to see your red cheeked beauty. "Lord forbid I wanna remember this night, digitally and soulfully. Doing group hangouts takes lots of planning, coordination and effort – AAH~!"

You squealed as Satoru lifted you up bridal style, spinning you around, marveling at your form highlighted by the moon while the fair lights made your e/c eyes sparkle like the universe laid in your gaze. Matching his Six Eyes perfectly, hypnotized by them as ever, as he kissed you openly.

"Heaven sent … you truly are." Tuffs of his snony bangs tickled your forehead and nose as his face beamed with pride and joy, unbridled love stretched from both ends of his wide smile, all for you.

"An angel for our depraved souls," Feeling those giant clothes hands cup your cheeks from behind, your toothy smile looked up to see Suguru sharing the same twitterpated expression.

"Ghosts having guardian angels … huh. Who'd have thought?" Your attempt at joking only made them give loud, slobbering, open mouthed smooches all over your face as you became a flailing giggling mess.

"Selfie time~!" Satoru chirped as he took tons of them with his phone, lots of laughs and kisses exchanged amongst the many goofy, creepy, and ecstatic faces you three made.

When midnight would soon be upon you all.

"Looks like we're right on schedule." Suguru mused as you three saw everyone that you personally invited eventually convening where the end of the fair grounds and the park meet, fairy lights hanging among, between, and around the tall hanging trees, various spooky tune favorites playing in the background to set the mood.

"Precisely." You threw the heavy ginormous bag you brought with you.

You popped it with the signature cursed energized finger gun.

It rained candy for all assembled.

While some – Yuji, Panda, Toge, Yuta, Rika, Junpei, Ino, Nobara, Miwa, Riko, Yu, Todo cause his lovely Takada-chan's concert had ended early, Nanako, Mimiko, Tsumiki, Satoru who yes scrambled over to get some too – clamored for every piece they could get their hands on.

Others – the adults at least – had restraint or not much interest.

As the fireworks went off to signal the end of the night, so much lively chatter bounced off everyone in animated mayhem, and you could only stand there and watch in amusement, content, and peace.

You wanted to freeze this moment. As well as many others. From back then to going forward.

This world – this reality – was something else.

You found more meaning, a sense of belonging, and heart in being here.

You would shape, bend and change it all to make it the kind of world you wanted it to be.

One where you could protect the smiles of those you feel attached to. Keeping this little slice of semi-normalcy intact, this somewhat safe haven of a life.

And should any curses wreak havoc upon the city – they will be most active on this night after all – this league of sorcerers would exorcise the hell outta them.

Sitting down on the grassy grounds, you were lost in the glowing sight that you got startled as Suguru slung an arm around your shoulders, nuzzling your humming self with his own.

"Truly a memorable night. Well done, love~"

You two jumped as Satoru collapsed before you two, candy stains smearing his lips, but smiling too much to care. "Best Halloween thus far! But next year we gotta top it! We should throw a bash! At our place!" Satoru's eyes were crazed and high at that point.

"Satoru, no more sugar for you tonight." Suguru lightly scolded.

"But Suguru, I feel so good right now~!" You and Sugu sucked the sweetness right off Toru's lips. "Like that but more~! Please love~?" Those puppy dog eyes and pouty lips have you kissing his lips. "Thanks you two~"

Helping Satoru sit up enough to rest on his elbows, you three spent the moment relishing the youthful scenery. Satoru's head rested on your left shoulder, Suguru's head rested on your right shoulder, and you hummed at how warm and cozy and right it all felt.

Calling out to everyone assembled to do at least one group cheer before the clock struck twelve.

Finishing the night off with one last –

"HAPPY HALLOWEEN!"

I was watching the movie when I realice that most stories doesn't show the troubles of having to adapt your life to someone else because now they are together

Is kinda like when you moved somewhere else, it even works with family, I mean I did it like 5 times in my life (it was tortuous but I couldn't do anything)

For Victor getting use to the marriage life isn't going to be easy, if you two knew each other for a while now or even was in a relationship before it would be a little easier but still not completely, and if the case is that it was a arranged marriage then he will be way too anxious while trying to adjust to everything

First of all, marriage is a really important thing in the time he lives and is something expected so that alone already puts a lot of pressure on him, adding that he has a really bad self-esteem due how his mother not only treat him but how she talks about him, and since his family have money (and that could be the main reason of a arranged marriage) he kinda doubts if he could be a good husband and maybe even thinks that this marriage is just for the benefits (if you two already know each other from more time it would be more like a fear rather than a doubt)

Honestly, Víctor is just too scare to mess things up or even make it uncomfortable for you two, he will extra anxious if he does love you or if you two have just met, but in both cases are a diferent kind of anxiety, in the first is because of that love that he is scare of messing things up, and in the second is because the situation is already awkward enough for him to be clumsy and messy

Once you two start to live together he will spend quite a while feeling anxious and tense, not fully knowing how is he suppoused to act, stuck between wanting to give you space and trying to make sure you feel comfortable. It is too much for him and soon, if you aren't the one breaking the awkwardness he will be the one to speak up, admiting that he doesn't really know what he is doing but he wants to try his best, and actually after that he start to grow more comfortable and let him to slowly start to get used to the marriage life without feeling like everything he does will mess up things (and if you feel as awkward as him will help him to feel not so alone in this, in the other hand if you are comprehensive and even comforting he will feel a little flustered but also embarrassed, but it isn't something too bad, it helps at the end)

Victor is the type to be willing to adapt himself to you and that is why communication is the key with him, even without much words as long as you are willing to be sincere and don't be too demanding and critical of him then things will go slow and smooth, the love and care grows slowly but it is obvious (and if you two were already together then that will slowly get you two closer). Although, he need some reasurance that is fine for him to don't give in on everything

Is more likely that you two end up being a kind of marriage that grows to have a complete rutine without even planning it, but is something rather comforting where you two grow comfortable and even end up coordinated with each other, still that doesn't mean that he won't be willing to do things that get outside of the usual rutine with you (he has the money to afford it anyways, as long it isn't something that make him uncomfortable or let him without personal space and time, he is patient and willing but will get mad if he runs out of patient or if is forced into something)

Emily

Emily is completely in love with the idea of getting married, still she is expecting to marry the love of her life, her soulmate! so, somehow, when you two get together she knows you are her soulmate (still there is not pressure or expectations to be met, she does love you for how you are)

Due Emily's entusiasm it won't take long for you two to get married, when she knows she is in love she doesn't see reason to wait, still she is willing to take it slowly if you prefer it that way (but will never stop saying how much she want to spend the rest of her afterlife with you)

Emily is a totally entusiast for the newlywed life that is a waiting for you two, however, her own entusiasm is what lead her to don't leave the honey moon phase for a while, she just can't help but feel like in heaven after you two get together (specially if you agree or let her be all the entusiastic she wants because she won't see anything wrong then)

Still, despite what it may seem, Emily truly love you and make efforts to know more about you, she isn't only interested on getting married but also in getting to know you and in sharing her life with you, that is why she is more than willing to learn about your normal life and rutine and making effords to make it agree with her own rutine. As well, she does expect that you do your efforts for the relasionship, she is patient and understanding and will love to get to know you and your own way to do things but she needs your confirmation and reasurance about the relasionship, as well the demonstration that you are willing to do some things in her way, even reasurance without words and just by actions will work, at the end she just want to share her life with you and be together but in a relationship one can't do all the work

Emily may be the type to believe blinfuly in her partner but she isn't stupid in the slighest, it would take her a while but at the end she will learn to respect your own space and time, just as she takes time to herself to be with her friends (although, she will be more than willing to just bring you with her wherever she goes)

Even so, it would take her a while to get used to don't be so clingy or even needy because of how much she loves being with you; and just like that it will take her a while to grow fully comfortable around you too, not that she doesn't feel comfortable with you is just that she want you to see her as someone pretty and she tent to get nervous or even embarrassed when she loses her eye or get clumsy, so she needs some time to reach the comfort where she doesn't feel like needing to act perfect all the time (your reasurance can help, reminding her that you love her just as she is brings her a lot of joy and comfort)

In the afterlife you won't really have much problems for what you could be worried about so is more likely that if you two grows to have a rutine is after a long time of being together, because before that Emili wants to have all kind of little adventures with you

I WAS going to work on another shenanigans in space piece but then i found those brushes and an old sketch and decided to just wing it.

In all honesty, the brushes were an absolute joy to work with and I really look forward to using them in future!

I know technically speaking, it was the wedding rehearsal so RS shouldn't be in his wedding outfit but I couldn't resist

The little letter on both their outfits is a character that means togetherness I believe, commonly used in weddings.

Patterns on the bottom for mountains and such since his family has always kinda lived on mountains (heck, they had one of their very on in jttw)

His color pallette was difficult to work with, I ended up color picking from lbd, possessed wukong and Emily herself

I wanted to go for more of a clouds theme and stars (flowers of course cause, wedding. Duh) and had to resist bringing him out cause it is a plot point that all of mk's jewels were stolen.

Also no headband. I don't know if he'd wear it to his wedding but in this au, he doesn't for the time being.

If anyone remembers that tumblr thread bout mulan's drag name 'hua ping' being slang for a twink this is similar.

Another slang for gayness is cut sleeve (there's a whole ass story bout a gay emperor and his boyfriend) but anyways since Emily's arm was rotting away there, I thought it appropriate. (Tied in with that rip up to his thigh in the robe, I think you get the picture lol)

For anyone drawing a hanfu or traditional Chinese clothing in general, it's meant to be folded right over left (see red son for reference),the other way round is for the dead. And I thought that be a fun detail as well as the white robe being used for the dead as opposed to the red one for celebration

Halloween edition!!

DISCLAIMER: if anyone wishes to draw the boys and their s/o’s feel free to message me and ask about what they look like!! I’d love to see art of them since I’m not much of an artist!! But I’ll try and get some sketches up if I make them

All of them go out as a group collectively, looking at all of the Halloween costumes and the houses all decorated. After trick or treating is over they all go out to a Halloween party and dance and drink and have fun.

James and Odette go as Victor and Emily from The Corpse Bride almost every year, improving their costumes every so often. (Odette even had the fun idea of Diana joining them as Victoria the two or three times she came down to visit) Odette loved the movie growing up and she was so happy James wanted to dress up with her.

Erik and Sabrina change up their costumes almost every year, this year they are deciding to go as a sexy cop and sexy prisoner . Sometimes Sabrina makes him do haunted houses with her (like being scare actors) and they end up being either the helpless couple who doesn’t know the killer is abt to kill them while their abt to get freaky, or the psycho killer couple.

Sam and his S/O (you thought I’d say her name, nope) are going as “demons” (aka Sam and her went through and found the scariest shit at the store and bought it and got Mika and Erik to help them do their makeup and stuff) Sam likes to run around and scare people (not children tho) and chase his S/O and come out of nowhere.

Matthew and his S/O dress up as something new every year, usually from video games or shows they like, this year however they decided to go as a warlock and a witch. Together they’re definitely the ones to actually do trick or treating.

Damien and his S/O are usually very cutesy couple costumes. This year, she convinced Damien to go as Gomez and Mortica Adams, which is very on brand for them.

i love love love regulus and pandora's friendship, it's probably the only relationship that i see as completely and purely platonic. they're soulmates. if they could live forever attached to each other, they would. like siamese twins.

they're second cousins, but they only started bonding during their teenage years. sirius caused regulus a lot of trauma (not voluntarily), and pandora has a horrible brother, so they found each other.

they are basically opposites: regulus is short, he walks as if he were dragging a prisoner's ball chain on his feet, he dresses only in black like pocket size book villain; and pandora is tall, splendid, a presence that cannot be ignored (coff coff victor and emily from corpse bride coff coff).

they consider themselves best friends. regulus knows pandora better than evan, even if evan doesn't know it. there are times when he can't find pandora, and everyone's first response is: "try to see if she's with regulus". when they were 18, they vowed to make their lives better, cutting their right hands and mixing their blood.

they don't love each other more than anything else, that would be a lie. pandora doesn't love anyone more than herself, and regulus doesn't love anyone more than god. and they're not even their second choice, because pandora loves evan more than regulus, and regulus loves sirius more than pandora.

maybe, in the end pandora and regulus don't even like each other that much. they have different goals for the future, different opinions, different problems and ways of solving them.

however, what unites them is a bond so strong that they can't help but be indispensable to each other. and, despite everything, they never argue.

Evidently everytime i like a ship i picture a Corpse Bride AU for it as I was just thinking of a Jmart one (Martin as Emily and Jon as Victor obviously) but specifically with trans Martin, and still set in the movie time era.

Martin feeling his should come out and explain it to Jon since they're married now and shouldn't have to hide anything, right? So when he does it's like "Yeah well I kinda always knew in a way? But obviously my parents would never understand or accept it, but the afterlife here is surprisingly progressive! Turns out you can go through a lot of self discovery and changes even after you die."

And Jon, the simple minded fool he can be, stutters about and basically asks "But you're still... wearing a wedding dress?" (Don't get him wrong bc Martin is, like, insanely attractive and stunning and gorgeous in that dress and Jon doesn't have to feel sexual attraction to be head over heels.)

Anyway Annabelle materializes behind Jon (she and Martin are undead besties in this au btw let me have this) and smacks him upside the head and whatever she says boils down to "Jon you're an idiot, men can still wear dresses if they want to. Besides, most all of us down here wear whatever we died in."

After a lot of awkward apologizing and forgiveness (not from Annabelle lmao) they have the conversation settled and Jon mostly understands. Later he's still stuck on "men can still wear dresses if they want" and can't stop thinking about that in the background of everything else he can't stop thinking about. Not because he can't accept Martin wearing the dress (honestly quite the opposite), no because his whole worldview shattered for like the fifth time that week. He's always wanted to wear lady clothes (and Georgie has always spoken the opposite, how she wishes she were allowed to wear men's clothes) but obviously it wouldn't be allowed. Right?

Anyway however it ends Martin and Jon are happy and together and both wear dresses and skirts whenever they want.

Corpse Bride x NagaShiro AU where Nagare is cast as Emily, Fem!Shiro is Victor, and Kuroh is Victoria

Hisui does have the corpse bride look already doesn't he, just add a veil and his dress is perfect :P So imagine Shiro and Kuroh as two aristocrats in an arranged marriage, despite the whole thing being planned by their parents they do actually get along well and care for each other. Shiro's a bit too busy studying and laying out in the garden to practice her vows though and she ends up messing with their wedding rehearsal. Not wanting to get scolded by Kuroh or her relatives Shiro sneaks out into the woods and practices on her own, placing her ring on a convenient branch. The brand turns out to be Hisui's dead finger and he proceeds to rise from the dead, chest shining green, and is pretty pleased to see he has a new bride.

Shiro gets dragged to the underworld where she meets Hisui's spectral dad Iwafune and finds out about how Hisui was killed in some horrible tragedy where his previous fiancee like pushed him into a crumbling building and just watched as he was stabbed through the chest with a rock. Shiro finds this all very sad and does think the underworld is kinda cool but creepy, deciding to trick Hisui into bringing her back to the world of the living so Shiro can go find Kuroh and they can get married properly and all that. Iwafune isn't so sure that Shiro's not playing games with the heart of his zombie son but Hisui wishes to see more of the living world so they're sent back. Unfortunately when Shiro and Kuroh reunite Hisui spots them and decides he's been betrayed, stealing Shiro's ring again (he does like a good magic rock) and dragging Shiro back to the land of the dead with him. Meanwhile Kuroh gets engaged to this aristocrat named Colorless and he doesn't know why but somehow this person seems highly suspicious.

Shiro figures there's no choice now and she'll just marry Hisui, unaware that part of the wedding ceremony involves all the dead spirits being allowed into the real world. Hisui is good with creating a perfect world of spirits and living people but watching Shiro grieving over losing Kuroh he realizes that maybe human emotions can be important too. He decides not to marry Shiro after all and reunites her with Kuroh instead, just in time to recognize Colorless as the fiancee who killed Hisui in the first place. Hisui tricks Colorless into drinking the poison that would have been Shiro's wedding drink, which allows Iwafune to show up and shoot the guy who broke his kid's heart. Hisui is now free of the chains that bound his soul and he turns into a bolt of lightning as he wishes Shiro happiness.

Multifandom Tiny Town: Occult Thoughts

Hello all, it's time for another post where I babble on about my ideas for a potential multifandom Tiny Town Challenge that I may or may not actually get off the ground. :p Today's topic -- the potential occult statuses of my tiny town residents! Because you know me -- I love my occult Sims. :D I've pondered this topic on and off for a little while regarding all the various members of the town, and here's what I've come up with --

Smiler Alton: Those glowing yellow eyes of theirs might be from Vampires, but in this world, I think I'd actually like Smiler to be a Spellcaster! Specifically, a spellcaster with a focus on the Alchemy branch of magic, because my Smilers are always supposed to be great chemists/alchemists (and this Smiler would be one based on my Valicer In The Dark Smiler, so that would be doubly true for them). I'm thinking that, once they've learned a few recipes and gotten sufficiently good at magic to have them come out good quality every time (and have finished the "can only earn money from their chosen skill to build their house" portion of the challenge), they could start selling the potions along with their nectar bottles! Feels right for them. :)

Victor Van Dort: Much like in my current Chill Valicer Save file, this Victor would end up becoming another Spellcaster -- but unlike the CVS Victor, who focuses on Practical magic, this Victor would specialize in Untamed magic. Like, of course I'd let him get some Practical spells ("Repairio" and "Scruberoo" are like must-haves for any spellcaster, and I think everyone in the tiny town would benefit from him having "Copypasto"), but I'd really lean in on him learning the Untamed stuff. Reason? Untamed magic has the "Necrocall" and "Dedeathify" spells, and given my plan for this Victor is for him to build up the Medium skill and eventually become a Paranormal Investigator (once he's done painting his way to a house), it feels thematically appropriate for him to get those spells. (Hell, it just feels thematically appropriate for him given he comes from a movie called Corpse Bride -- and you could argue that he, however accidentally, called Emily out of her grave there, soooo...)

Alice Liddell: Alice was a bit of a tricky one to figure out -- mostly because I've already done two occult life states with her over two different save files (she became a vampire in the original Newcrest Adventures stuff, and she's currently a werewolf in the the Chill Valicer Save), meaning I was like "I kinda want to do something else with her" for this potential save file. But I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a third spellcaster either, and I didn't like the idea of leaving her an ordinary human...

And then I remembered an old post of mine where I made fun of myself for turning Emily into a mermaid and Alice into a vampire whenever I was doing some sort of supernatural/fantasy AU when, based on their canons, they should be the other way around, and went "oh hey!" XD So yes, in this file, Alice would eventually become a Mermaid! I've never actually played a mermaid before, so this would be a fun new challenge (well, sort of, I don't think mermaids are all that hard to play) -- and, as indicated in the linked post, I already have an idea of what Alice should look like as a mermaid thanks to that concept art of her as one for the original Deluded Depths stuff. Plus, I know one of the powers you get as a mermaid is changing the weather, and given how many times I've had to slap a weather machine down on a lot to stop it raining when I travel, that should come in very handy. :D Only trouble would be getting the mermadic kelp, as I'd prefer to find it in Sulani rather than just buy it with aspiration points, but -- I don't think the tiny town would mind a group vacation to the islands, right? XD

Emmett Brown: By contrast, deciding for Emmett was easy -- he's going to be a Regular Sim. No occult powers at all. Reason?

Well, once he builds up his house with his prowess in robotics, I intend for him to enter the Scientist active career. I figure the minute he has a SimRay and a few serums under his belt, he'll be able to keep up with all the supernatural nonsense happening around him. XD And hey, "Mad Scientist" counts as a technical occult, right?

Mal Kavian: Another easy one -- Mal is explicitly supposed to be the female Malkavian fledgling from Vampire: the Masquerade -- Bloodlines, so she has to start as a Vampire! Though I'm planning on running her differently from how I usually do vampires in this game, by limiting her powers and planning her weaknesses around what would be true of a VTMB-style vampire. I actually did a whole series of posts on how you could convert VTMB vampires to Sims 4 back in 2018, so I already have an idea of what I'd do, though I probably wouldn't EXCLUSIVELY limit myself to "just Malkavian disciplines-themed powers" -- I'd like for Mal to get super-speed or a teleport power at some point! But yeah, she'd be my first vampire who stays permanently weak to the sun, which should make gameplay -- interesting. Smiler, I think I'm gonna have to have you get some Vampire Lore skill just so you can mix that drink that turns vampires solar-powered for her whenever she needs to go out in the daylight!

Preston Garvey: Preston was another tricky one, since I wasn't sure what occult status would actually fit him. I was tempted to just leave him a normal sim for a while...but after thinking about it a bit more, I think it might be interesting to make him a Werewolf! A friendly one, of course, since Preston's a friendly guy. :) Just think it might make for some neat gameplay/story opportunities to have him struggling with his inner Beast, especially near the beginning of his infection -- and Preston would be a lot more inclined to do pack-related stuff, unlike Alice in the Chill Valicer Save, so I'd be able to do something with that as well! Plus I could experiment with getting some different powers at different times -- Preston might be more suited for getting that "eat random objects" power, since he comes from a post-apocalyptic setting where the ability to eat whatever when you were hungry would be VERY useful. XD

Wheatley Notamoron: While I do have a human Wheatley in my Library (I created him for the Newcrest Adventures save file, along with a Chell), I really want to make the Wheatley in this save file a Servo -- after all, the original Wheatley was a robot, so why not make the Sims version one as well? Plus Servos are another life state I haven't played with a lot (Marm L. Iser is a very recent addition to the Chill Valicer Save), so figuring out how to navigate robot-hood with him would be an interesting challenge. (Though, given how fast charge and durability seems to go down on newly-activated Servos, I'm glad he's going to be living on a lot with six other people to help with his needs!) Of course, the trick here is, you can't make a Servo in CAS, so how do I get Servo!Wheatley into my Library so he's ready to move into the Tiny Town later... Guess my best option would be to find a room with a prebuilt-but-not-activated Servo in it on the Gallery, have a random Sim in a random save activate him, then give said Servo the right name, paint job, and traits before saving him to the Gallery. (Or I suppose I could have Emmett build him, as his whole thing is Robotics, but that DOES feel a bit weird...we'll see how things go, I guess!)

And there we have it -- two spellcasters, a mermaid, a scientist, a vampire, a werewolf, and a Servo all in one tiny town. Shit will be chaotic. XD But then again, were we expecting it not to be?

I've been playing Twisted Wonderland, and I need to get this off my chest:

The more I think about it, the more I think that The Phantom Bride was definitely one of the MOST frustrating events for me. I was so angry at everything!!!

First at the dammed ghost bride, I even forgot her name, like how dare you just try and force someone to marry you! To kill for it! I know she spent many years searching and dreaming about this, but that's no excuse!

Second, all the students simply abandoned Idia. I know it would be a difficult, arduous task to rescue him, but COME ON!!! Laugh all you want at Idia being considered the"perfect prince" but abandoning him to DIE?????? At least try to think about a plan, possibilities to how to get him out of this before saying "no way"@&@%+&^!!!! They should be ashamed!!! Not even an ounce of consideration to Ortho's feelings! They kinda redeemed themselves afterward, so I was not as angry at them.... Although they moved only because they were mostly threatened/forced to, I'll give them some credit since they at least did try to succeed.

Third the bride's delusions and how she was ridiculous, deaf and blind to all Idia said and wanted, how ridiculous every standard she put on the others students that got slapped was but was utterly blind that Idia didn't have all that AS WELL! She was just annoying and didn't even get a redemption at the end, was annoying from the start to finish. If she was a little more like Emily from Corpse Bride, I'd be happier for her.

And last, her retainers just enabling her!!!!! God dammit, I admit she must've been a young naive princess, maybe a teen even, but they were grown ass ADULTS at her side! They should know better that this wasn't the way to console her soul, no matter how pitiful she is! There was a freaking NANNY!

I don't even fully remember the event since I was so angry and annoyed all the time. The highlight of the event for me was Floyd and Jade insulting the bride while "proposing" to her. Only played for the event cards.

∷ She used to take Korean classes because her mum taught her French as a second language when she was a kid, she was able to speak simple Korean but it was kinda really bad, but was able to understand most of it (receptive bilingualism)

∷ When she was in those classes, Jeonghan helped her a lot and Joshua later on too - Josh translated for her, while Jeonghan often did helped with her homework

So you know Emily's story, right? A bride that ran from home and was poison to death by some greedy dickhead that only wanted her money?

Well, I just ended up in a wrong place wrong time scenario. A hit and run, really. POV killed by a hearse 😔😔😔😔

And I wake up in the world of the dead, am ushered into Bonejangles bar, and am sat down as the tell the tale of the Corpse Bride through song. Between her ghoulish yet gorgeous appearance, and soft yet sad voice I'm pretty much immediately drawn to her jggdjgdj I take whatever concoction I've been handed by the bar tender in one hand and try not go fidget with the other.

I start with complimenting her haunting voice and beautiful dress and soon enough we're just chatting idly. She ends giving me the rundown of the afterlife and asking if I'd like to be her roomate :) Really we just hit it off well from the get go.

Things remain that way for awhile. Just two gals being pals. One smitten and hopeful, the other focused and poised to achieve her goals. There's little things here and there like asking her about her attraction or accidental touches but nothing really concrete. It's nice even if it's not everything we could have. I decide to not push the idea considering Emily's past. I'm fine without telling her....well, until Victor shows up.

For us his arrival happens on a night just like any other. We're on our weekly trip to the bar. I'm chatting with Bonejangles and the band on and off and she's singing along to every song they play <3 When suddenly, she feels the tug of the those words that have kept her held down for so long ringing in her bones. She doesn't explain to anyone, just rushes to the human realm to meet him in person. I manage to catch her leaving but I still don't know why she's done it so I chill at the bar until she shows again.

It takes allll day but she finally does come back! With some guy? WAIT MARRIED WHAT?? She's so excited, all smiles and heart eyes and I'm just trying to keep my cool but SO many questions are going through my head as I greet him and them watch the band start up their shebang.

I kinda pout in the corner for most of the song but still end up watching her with little hearts dancing in my eyes anyways <3 When she’s done the situation FINALLY gets explained to me......and I’m less than thrilled. Victor is over saying how she’s dead but I’m just saying that he doesn’t seem interested and doesn’t even know her?? Like is she really sure that’s what she wants? She uhhh, is mad at my judgy attitude(it’s a mix of jealousy and concern but fair kjgdsj) but yeeeeahhhh

The movie continues on mostly as normal but with the added mix of our dynamic, the implication of jealousy, and lots of musical numbers! X3 Somewhere part way through, Victor admits that he doesn’t like here and wants help getting out. I tell him to tel her about it and not involve me. After all, HE’S the one she likes....(Despite his distress that’s when he actually picks up on her feelings) He also goes for that angle and despite her flushed face she reiterates her point and walks off. *Crush lament song here*

Things don’t change all that much until we hit the wedding/climax of the movie. Up to that point I’d been holding it, maybe hinting at it, Victor was even trying to point me out just to hopefully break things off better, but now it’s come to that one phrase that every unrequited lover fears:

“Should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.....”

Just as I’m about to get up and SAY SOMETHING(like, I’ve just stood up) THAT MOTHERFUCKER BARKIS SPEAKS HIS PIECE >:(((( 

As much as I want to fight that guy, I let Emily handle it cause it’s her arch and she’s sOOO badass in that part <3 Like god she DESERVES IT!! And while the town is fucking EVISCERATING Barkis, Victor and Emily finally decide to set things right about the wedding and THEN I CONFESSS (Victor actually wingmans by urging me to speak despite it’s his wedding ksgsdbg <3 )

And so her soul is freed from her realization but she stays with me in the Afterlife. We have a town wide wedding in the next few days. (As excited as we both were, we all needed a break) Victor and Victoria are at the wedding too! Bonejangles and the band plays the music, the after party is at the bar, and the aesthetic is BANGING!!

My Castlevania Review (Tw: spoilers)

Well I loved the season, but there are some pints that I didn’t loved.

First of all Isaac is the best character in all the series. His development is incredible! We Stan Isaac here

I feel that the vampire sisterhood was put on a second plan, like it was supposed that they were going to be the main enemy, but suddenly is Death using Saint Germain, though it was really cool.

I wanted to see the four fighting Alucard, Trevor, and Sypha.

Carmilla’s ending was something that I liked. I mean the scene was stunning animated. And somehow it made completely sense.

Sypha’s adventures with Trevor are amazing. I love to see them fight together. Their relationship is lovely.

I can’t wait to know who’s Sypha’s baby!

The fights are just in another level.

I still got goosebumps while watching the mirror scene. And the three reunited again!

Now the parts that I wasn’t a fan of.

FIRST OF ALL.

Alucard’s development. Hey producers can we talk!

Where the fuck went all the trauma after the betrayal he suffered in season three?

It was like impaling Sumi and Taka didn’t meant anything at all.

Though I loved him to see him happy again, it just felt rushed. (Absolutely loved his happy ending)

We didn’t had time to know Greta, btw the romance between those two seemed unnecessary.

I mean depression and loneliness wouldn’t go away so easily.

The relationship between Lenore and Hector.

WTH?! This was the most toxic shit that happened.

After the ring I don’t buy the “let her live” part with Isaac! (Though Lenore was a great character)

Her dead was poetical. Kinda remind me of Emily in the corpse bride.

BUT NOW!

The parts were I cried.

Dracula and Lisa are finally together again. They have another chance. (Sincerely one of the fewest hetero pairs that I ship)

Morons and Striga leaving all behind and heading to a new future together

And yup, our trio finally having their happy endings.

Now the family is together

7. pastel blue! it’s been my favorite color ever since i watched the corpse bride and pretty much sobbed over the scene where emily turns into a bunch of butterflies at the end - after that, i felt really connected to both that color and butterflies and, weirdly, actually found a blue butterfly in my area with a torn wing that i picked up and moved from the side of the road to a safer place and it seemed? to get away somehow? so i hope i saved it! but yes i love pastel blue it’s super comforting for me

23. there’s this shirt i found on sale for a dollar at a store and it’s basically this blue long sleeved shirt with a pocket on the chest and it’s meant to be a boyfriend style shirt (whatever that means) but it is the softest and nicest thing in this world and i wear it whenever i can because it’s soothing for me, even if one of the sleeves is a bit messed up, hemming wise

24. to de-stress i usually just write or read? i also like making myself tea and reorganizing all of my books! or i’ll watch my favorite childhood movies or look up everything i liked from my childhood because it a. makes me laugh and b. calms me down and c. reminds me of happier days of my life 

26. this one is so ??? for me because the majority of movies i watch are either very depressing or scary? i guess i’d say to all the boys i’ve loved before because at least i could just be lara jean’s friend if i lived in that world and support her through everything but the corpse bride would be kinda fun because when i died i’d just get to go live in the underworld with everyone and party all of the time which sounds awesome? but it’s also victorian era england so. i have no idea, basically. 

28. hand-holding, i’m a huge sucker for hand-holding. not that anyone’s ever held my hand before but i love those moments you read when a character will comfort another by holding their hand and running their thumb up and down the back of it, or squeeze it to snap them out of their anxiety it’s just... such a wholesome thing and i really appreciate it! it’s why i write so much hand-holding into my own fics because i just adore it. can’t wait until the day someone actually holds my hand. 

29. night! i’m a major night owl, plus i get most of my writing done at night since i usually have inspiration strike as i’m falling asleep since, in order to help myself sleep, i usually tell myself dumb stories but sometimes those stories are actually interesting so i start to work on the idea before i lose it entirely
