sorry i just got blown away by someone interpreting the "never be friends" quote as proof of bangel being A Real Ship because it means they'll never be platonic and so they must end up together romantically versus the very glaring meaning that's actually behind it, which is that bangel has no foundation of partnership, reliance, or commonality to build a lasting and solid relationship upon. the only real substance in their relationship is an explosion of rapidly fading sparks

- scary dog privileges wherever you go with jace, but he is ALL bite with one and only one warning bark.
- when a hand that isn't his brushes your thigh in a club, fingers get broken. when a cat caller thinks his compliment just has to be said to you, he most likely won't be able to speak again for weeks. And god forbid any villain try to use you as bait for jason, they've all learned if they value their life to never touch you. He's all for justice not vengeance until anyone tries to mess with you, then those words always get mixed up in his head.
- sometimes you cant even complain about people, they end up getting randomly harassed by a certain someone until they just move town
- jason is adamant as long as he's alive there won't be a problem of yours he can't solve with a little violence
- your biggest problem is that he struggles to let you have guy friends, obviously the ones he knows especially fellow heroes are more than fine, but he's been known to burst blood vessels when he sees you close and person with men he's never met
- he's proud of it too: "let another man try and touch y/n, it's been a slow night for me." or "i just don't get why you need him as a friend when you have me, myself, and i"
Tim Drake
- tim gets... obsessive.
- he tends to fall hard but with you he brought the house down with him
- before you were officially his he had hacked every security camera in the city to have eyes on you at any given moment
- both for your safety and his own maniacal flirting strategy: you admire shoes but frown at the price tag? tim's buying you the matching bag to go with the shoes he bought the second you looked at them.
- before you knew how insanely in love with you he was, you truly thought he was a mind reader
- well he kind of was, seeing as he scrolled through your search history every night to know which talking points to bring up with you
- once you finally fell for him and set some stronger boundaries he still occasionally found himself double checking your location when you weren't by his side, or lazily purchasing every item on your pinterest boards, he just can't help but dote on you
Damian Wayne
- damian doesn't really get close to people, but as always you were his exception
- however, this means his list of people to hang out with is extremely short, and he saw no problem in wanting to be around you wherever you went whenever he could
- like a kind of tall, dark, and brooding puppy, he quietly followed you everywhere, and when you strictly told him he couldn't follow along, you always noticed a perched shadow just a few building away
- eventually you got used to rolling over to damian coolly watching you sleep or patiently waiting to pick you up from your classes/job, happy just to walk you to your car
- just like jason, damian had a brutal and heartless style of problem-solving when it came to anyone giving you trouble
- too often you found yourself standing in between his rage a massive mistake whether it was nearly assaulting a friend of yours who tried to ask you out or threatening to buy out your entire workplace when you didn't get the promotion you wanted
- forever cooling his rage was worth having his adoration though, and you were happy to have your overbearing shadow follow you throughout your days
Dick Grayson
- for such a bubbly leader, dick often struggled with communication
- always used to bearing his problems alone youd spent too many nights tracking down your own boyfriend only to beg him to tell you what's wrong
- he never understood that you didn't always want to solve his problems, but hold his sadness or hurt with him
- it was the worst when he was upset with you, whether it was jealously or insecurity that crept into his mind
- he'd take off in a rush hoping you wouldn't notice but you always did, either hunting him down or simply waiting with open arms for him to come home
- it would take years to teach your traveling-circus-raised boyfriend that you weren't going anywhere, ever.
- but, this made for many heartfelt nights where he held you and promised you the world, as if you'd opened him up in a way no one else could, pulling forward the most magical and loving side of your sweet boy

Actually curious why you want advice from my emotionally bereft ass but lmaooo. I’ll give you the advice I give my male dating family members and friends
1. Do not go into dating men desperate
you need to have at least the barest amount of confidence in who you are and what you want before dating a singular man.
Like I mean that shit, I’m not kidding. You don’t have to be self confident enough to write a self help book, but you need to be able to feel as if you can walk away when you are disrespected. no matter what fantasy you have of love, you WILL be disrespected babe. Learn early how to identify it when it happens and walk the fuck away with your self respect when it’s too much for you to ignore.
2. Do not let being ‘nice’ keep you from finding your dream partner
Start off with a working list of what kind of man you want and be as detailed and insane about it as possible. I mean everything down to what color underwear he wears if that’s something that might be a point of contention with you.
After you have that list write some hard rules for how a man is allowed to speak/act towards you and use that as a litmus test for if you continue a relationship. It is a privilege to be near you not a guaranteed right, so reinforce that or get walked over
3. Masturbate frequently and have your options open
Legit work out any hang ups surrounding sex and consider dating more than one person at a time so you don’t get stuck romanticizing one man.
No, that doesn’t mean you have to fuck all of them, but getting used to going on dates helps with nerves and prevents you from making the mistake of thinking you found ‘the one’ because you’re seeing the same dude. Please invest in a sex toy or 3. Being horny will get you into trouble!!
4. Do not trust a man’s word over your own senses
People lie. Don’t believe shit a man says unless he backs it up with receipts. He says he has a condo in France? ask to see the deed. He got his std labs done last week? Ask him to go with you to your regular doctor for a new screening.
Protect yourself always and if he gets mad that’s a red flag. Do not pass go because it’s life or death out here, babes. Which leads me to
5. Be a bitch. Be the biggest bitch you can be
Legit fuck every single thing anyone ever told you about being nice to a man. Work on getting comfortable with being an asshole and calling them out or you will be pushed over. This honestly goes for any gender like be a literal cunt when the time warrants it.
Someone pushy about you not letting them back to your place? Be loud and tell them they’re making you uncomfortable. Someone negging you? Look them in their eye and lean close, tell them “you know, when I first met you I thought you were a lot smarter. I guess not, since you had the nerve to say that to me without any regrets.”
Don’t like the date? Leave. That simple. It’ll save you heart ache and sometimes save your life.
Uh if you have more specific questions you can follow up but those are my top five rules. Men aren’t some scary mythical creature or hard science experiment. It’s all about setting yourself up to get what kind of love story you want. Good luck babes you’re gonna need it!!

and since we're on the topic, what characters would you see being a little yandere? What type of yandere would they be?
Hi Anon! I appreciate the question! Many people have different ideas of what a yandere is and how they should be portrayed. I’d like to start off by giving you the definition of what most people see a yandere:

Now, my definition of a yandere is a person who is completely devoted to another, to the point where they develop unhealthy tendencies. I tend to write my Yandere characters in a more realistic way. (I tend to stay away from the whole ‘oh gosh you just killed this person because they looked at me weird’ kind of writing style. It’s just not my cup of tea)
Since I’ve always been a big fan of psychological horror and dark romance, I portray yanderes as narcissistic, manipulative, and simply not safe to be around. They might have stalkerish tendencies, yes, but I like to focus more on how they would affect the person they like. (I know it kinda takes away from the whole definition of yandere) Basically, I just like turning the usual lovestruck, insane yandere into a more realistic version of themselves (as realistic as they could get in the ninja world. I hate completely altering a character’s personality into something they’re not).
What do I think of yanderes? Well, I certainly wouldn’t want to meet one in real life. I like reading and writing them in fiction, but in no way shape or form do I romanticize or agree with whatever the Yandere does. I do not condone any type abuse because it’s absolutely vile that someone might go out their way to hurt others. Having said that, I think many people might not find the way I write yanderes very pleasing, because it’s not what they’re used to seeing, and that’s totally okay!
Now to answer you final questions:
I believe there are a few characters that might have the possibilities of becoming a Yandere or having Yandere tendencies:
Obito (way too obsessive):
I know a lot of people think the same way as I do. I believe that Obito is a man with serious problems.
He technically grew up alone, just with his grandmother. He almost succeeded in putting everyone in an infinite genjutsu, where he could distort reality to his liking and be with the girl he loved.
It’s safe to say that he would be a yandere where if push comes to shove, he will do whatever it takes to have you near him.
He is obsessive (he had a lot of pictures of Rin when he was young, so…). He needs to remember your face clearly, even when he’s away from you. You’re the reason why he breathes. He lives because you allow him to. That’s what he thinks.
Madara(protective and controlling):
Hear me out, this man is complicated.
Sometimes he would put his desires over you, but if we’re going to be honest, he’d shred down the world for you.
If something ever happened to you, Madara would take no time in avenging you. He’s a little different to Obito. Although he’s obsessive, he doesn’t completely revolve his life around you.
He likes feeling possessive over you, but he can leave at any time that he needs to. You have to wait for him. He’ll be a protective yandere, looking out for you and making sure you understand that he’ll be the only one there for you.
Kakashi (protective, pathological liar) :
Whoa? Kakashi? Really? Yes really. This man has grown up alone. He made friends, they died. They left. Anytime he got close to someone, they’d disappear. It’s only logical that if he were to fall for someone, he’d like to protect them.
However, this protectiveness can get overwhelming. He knows you’re capable of protecting yourself, he simply doesn’t want you to. If one thing he’s done wrong in life, it’s protecting those around him. This was his time to make up for all those times he failed.
He isn’t used to affection, but when he has it, he craves it. Badly. You need to remind him that you love him too, or else he might just think you’re ready to leave him at any time.
He isn’t above lying to get you to do something. He’s lied before, so why not lie again? If it gets things going his way, he won’t care. A little harmless lie can turn into a bunch of them.
Sasuke (distant, but protective) :
If he likes you, he definitely won’t show it. If he genuinely cares, he won’t be above doing anything inhumane. He’s already done a lot of things in this world that got him hate, adding another one to his list wouldn’t be a problem.
He’ll work from the shadows. He’ll love you from far away. He isn’t really affectionate and doesn’t know how to show it.
One things certain though, you’re his lover. He will give his life for you or take another.
You ask him for the moon and he will serve it in a silver platter before leaving.
Do I think other character could be Yandere? Well yes, this is fiction after all, but these are the best that fit that description. Anyways, thank you for your questions! I’d love to answer more if anyone else is curious or wants to request some Yandere content!

Starting with my head cannon because every thing will make more sense with it (or it wont that's entirely up to you) Imma try my best to make this enjoyable
So I head cannon both bill and ford as aspec this is important for the rest trust (I'm Aroace myself so some of my words are based of of experience ) being aroace doesn't mean you can't have a toxic one-sided relationship with a triangle
(most of this is pretty vanilla but I still wanna talk about it)
I believe it started of as a one-sided relationship on fords part (wow shocker) but it wasn't really love because he's ace it was more of infatuation (this stems from the fact he is a science boy and like ooo demon triangle thing) mistaken for love (I'm pretty sure this is common among aroace people or I just had an original experience) and maybe bill had just a little bit of the same feeling but instead of infatuation it was just pure obsession and when they had there little “tragic break up” and bill finally came to realize his obsession and it consumed him (idk i think that how abusive obsession is) and he realized he can’t live with out ford (i man he can but unhealthy obsession) and thus bills one sided relationship with ford where he just tries to get his puppet back but can’t figure out why he needs him so bad so he comes to the (subconscious) cuncultion there in love (because of course that’s the reasonable decision) and then you all know what comes after
I think bill has major will wood music vibes so I have nominated three songs of his for bill ford (cuz I'm genuinely going insane over them)

Ok so this one is the least perfect out of all of them cuz it only half what I want (obviously this song is a stretch but hear me out) It's mostly for the like the last half of the song (remember what I said about throwing out the meaning for get that i lied) this song about the struggle ls of growing up and is a heartfelt plea to be understood and accepted for who we are (which obviously ford was a wired kid) and this kinda ties into the one-sided infatuation because it also is about the romanticism of nostalgic love, and the pressure of society telling you to find someone and "settle down" as we get older (witch yk aroace can’t really do that) so he’s grasping at the fact that he is enamored with this demon he just summoned (because science) so he can come up with this narrative in his head of how he is in love and can finally fit at least one of the societal boxes (idk it sounds like something to me probly ooc but I'm having fun)

obsession with someone and how people often use coping mechanisms such as drugs to help with their feelings of uncertainty and helplessness. (yes this is copied not fully of a site this is tumblr not an english assignment) it also explores the idea that love and obsession can often manifest in neurotic and even pathological behavior.(oooo oooo look i’m so smart like staring the apocalyps) i’m not this cool this whole thing started with the first like whit h is “I apologize for playing with your eyes But I’m obsessed with you” witch reminded me of how bill used for as a puppet and then yk fords whole world came crashing down (this one explained its self more i have to do less mental gymnastics) and he’s like im sooo sorry i can’t live with out you

Why is the art so unappealing in lore Olympus now Persephone looks like a highlighter and maybe it’s just me but the proportions like the fingers in arms are soul over the place I don’t think they used to be this bad. Am I just looking at it with nostalgia or am I crazy ?

Like I didn't even believe that that was real until I was told what episode it was from and I was just. Astounded and flabbergasted. The over-shading of the blanket that just makes it look like a really bad edit. Insane.
And yeah, there are a lot of old panels that hit different now that the rose-colored glasses have been removed, crushed, and thrown into the trash compactor.

I think that's why it makes it all the more amusing when people come into my inbox and ask me "wait, why did you like LO to begin with?? It's always been ugly as shit, I think you're just romanticizing it" because like... there's something to be said about art and subjectivity, even if something is ugly to one person doesn't mean it isn't beautiful to someone else. It's why I try not to be too mean towards the fans of this comic for still enjoying it, because while I definitely have strong opinions about how "LO has gotten worse" and what kind of following Rachel has cultivated (cough cough), there are also just as equally valid arguments that LO has never begin good to begin with that I can't necessarily disagree with now that I'm looking back on it with a more critical eye.
That said, there's tons of media that I enjoy that is objectively awful. Like y'all, you don't need to take my opinions about a dumb pink x blue fantasy romance comic seriously, I like Starfox Adventures-

Like yeah it's a badly made rushed piece of shit that was developed right on the ass end of Rare's glory days and was really an original IP (Dinosaur Planet) that got Frankenstein'd into a Starfox game so it could "sell better" for Nintendo, but I don't give a fuck, I love Starfox Adventures and some day I wanna be in the top 10 speedrunner leaderboards for it, which I know doesn't mean much because no one is speedrunning Starfox, but I do and no one can take that away from me dammit-

Anyways. Lore Olympus has, in many regards, always had "bad art". But "bad art" can and should still be enjoyed by those who find joy in it.
And in LO's case, the world it existed in when it launched was a lot smaller than it is now - more specifically, the world of Webtoons. We can look back and see how 'bad' LO looks and reads now because there are genuinely way better comics surrounding it. It was unique and refreshing and experimental back then... now it's just "that stupid blue and pink comic for horny teenagers".
In most cases I would consider that "cringing in hindsight" feeling a good thing because normally it means something has grown and that it seeming "bad" in hindsight would mean that it's outgrown itself and moved onto bigger things. But LO has the more unique problem of "its current stuff is shit and it's making us want the old stuff more, even if the old stuff wasn't good either". In that regard, LO is closer to being like Harry Potter. Remember when The Cursed Child came out at the height of Rowling being exposed for being a TERF and even people who liked Harry Potter didn't like The Cursed Child because it was just objectively worse overall (with or without Rowling's bullshit attached)? It made a lot of people go back and re-read / rewatch Harry Potter with a more objective lens and go "wait a minute guys, I think we only adored these books so much because we were 12 when we read them". Often times it's the good memories we have surrounding certain things that make us have the opinion about them that we do.
Of course, LO is definitely not as politically weaponized as Harry Potter is, so that's where that comparison ends. But my point is that LO is definitely in a situation where it's been riding off the same privileges it had back in 2018 - having an 'experimental' art style while also utilizing tropes and characters that were VERY popular at the time (remember that 2017-18 was when Tumblr was at its height of H x P "Hades was a chill accountant guy who wore socks and sandals and didn't cheat on his wife like Zeus did" fantasizing) - and thinks that those same tricks and tropes will still work today.
Because of this, the art in LO really, really hasn't aged well, even the stuff that we look back on fondly. But I think it's the panels that we specifically think of when remembering "old LO" - the ones that stuck in our memories the most - that are the ones that make us miss or just not care about the panels that don't look good (the panels that make people question why we ever liked it to begin with).
We liked it because of how it made us feel to look at panels like these-

Those genuinely wonderful panels that we think back on the most don't exist separately from the bad panels, they exist in spite of them. Even if we can look back on panels like these and pick out problems in the lineart or the proportions or the color travelling outside of the lines, that can't and shouldn't change how those panels made us feel at some point or another. And that's why when people ask me "why were you even into LO in the first place" I don't have any one answer, because I can't fully explain how something made me feel to justify why it's good to someone who can see from the outside - without rose-colored glasses - that it evidently isn't. It's very much a "you had to be there" type of thing.
Unfortunately, nowadays even the 'best' LO panels in S3 still don't come close to what the S1 panels accomplished - because for many of us, the rose-colored glasses are gone, we can't appreciate the good among the bad because we know now how bad it truly is and so the good just feels like wasted attempts at trying to recreate something it can no longer be. It "came back wrong" so to speak.

LO came back just regular. But our journey to resurrecting it changed us to such a degree that even its closest intimacies are now foreign to us. Sorry dude.
This is still probably one of my favorite panels out of the entirety of S3 for being as close to "old LO" as I've seen since S2, and even it feels like a mistake, an accident, how could a panel like this exist in S3 when so much of it is a dumpster fire? It's like a flower growing in the ruins of an apocalyptic wasteland.

But wasn't that always the case? Isn't that 'always' what LO has been, since the very beginning? A poorly cobbled together mess of writing and panels that, every now and then, manages to leave an impression that makes you feel something? Did we ever truly know LO? Or have we just been relying entirely on an idea of it that we've built up in our heads that when it does do exactly what it's evidently always done (even if not made apparent until looking back on it in hindsight) we think it "came back wrong"?

Drew Tanaka headcanons bc I'm going insane over them
She's from Hokkaido in Japan
Her full name is Sayuri Tanaka, Drew is merely the name she chose when moving from Japan to the US bc the Americans couldn't pronounce Sayuri right and it got on her nerves, later it irritated her that she couldn't get her chosen name pronunciation right
She's ainu and bc of it she'd get bullied in school in Japan
Her dad (like Piper's) moved from the more indigenous area to a more urban but still made sure Drew knew and appreciated her heritage
He made knives and blades in general, once he made a katana and she was so obsessed with it
Moved to the US for financial reasons rather than demigod reasons
She got on a fancy private school with athlete scholarship for having two gold medals in kendo
Spoke a very poor English and that made it hard for her to make friends besides one boy in her class who God knows why spoke japanese: Connor Stoll, and consequentially his brother, Travis
Aroace spectrum, probably a lesboromantic
Her satyr took her and the siblings Stoll to the camp when she was 11
When she arrived the camp she was reluctant to befriend anyone, specially because, since she had just immigrated, she was afraid people would find her weird
She was the kind of child of Aphrodite who might look like a kid of a god of beauty but has the personality of a child of a god of war: Aphrodite Areia. She'd come after anyone who messed with her and has a really bad temper, sometimes even compared to Clarisse
After Silena's betrayed she was deeply hurt since she admired Silena so much, that's why she was so bitter to everyone after the war
Despite being hurt from her sister's betrayal she still tried to be a good conselour and sister, making sure the younger campers, specially Lacy, were okay and trying to lighten the grief
Drew was never on a good financial position, mainly because her father's job didn't have much clientele, so she started working at fast food restaurants when she was a teenager
Despite being poor, she always tried to look good, it was her way of coping from all the bad stuff she went through. Because of it she learned how to sew.
She disliked Piper not because she reminded her of Silena but because, at first sight, Piper reminded her of herself, but without most shit she had to go through. Piper was also indigenous, at a fist look she seemed poor, she was a demigodess etc. But she didn't go to the war, she hadn't had her friends die all at once, she didn't meet Silena.
After Drew found out who was Piper's father she only got more pissed; that girl, who had everything she always wanted, who never had to sleep wondering if on the next day she would still have a house to live in, who never had to worry how her father would be without her on his side to SPEAK for him because he didn't know English. Yet she romanticized all that Drew hated in her own life.
After Mitchell cleared up what was going on between the two to the other, Piper and Drew started getting along, but Drew never really got over Piper's style choice, not because it wasn't pretty but because that looked close to what she wore when she was on her worst financially when Piper could afford any kind of luxury brand

“As I saw it after my study at Oxford, Bennett and Jeffrey had changed the 100th from its original hot fly-boy individuals to 20th-century work-together warfare. From Romanticism to neo-Classicist. History in the making.
I was tired of being part of history. I wanted to go home. Let the new guy take over.
The replacement on tap for me was a captain named Leafy Hill. That is really not his name because I have resolved never to reveal the true names of officers and enlisted men whom I did not admire. War does bad things even to good people. Many of the misfits, the incompetent, the exploitive, and the cowardly whom I met at Thorpe Abbotts have gone on to put together good lives, have had good jobs and good families. I choose not to reopen old wounds.
Leafy thought he was the Group Navigator from the day he walked onto the base. He immediately scheduled himself as the command navigator on the next mission. I hit the sky and stormed into Jeff's office.
"Even command pilots fly high squadron lead on their first missions. I want to know what Leafy Hill can do before I put him up in front."
This was my first encounter with Jeff. He smiled, and talked with me the same way Charlie Via did, Virginia talk.
"Okay, don't pull the hoose down. The 100th is flying low in the wing. In the nose with a good lead crew navigator, he can't foul up too much."
When the planes came back, the crew with whom Leafy had flown were wild.
"The guy is off his rocker. He yelled over intercom all during the mission. From takeoff to landing." The crew navigator was shaken.
"That screwball actually wanted us to abort when we were on the bomb run. I think he wanted to make the run alone so he could get some kind of medal. I won't fly with him again."
I checked Leafy's log. His ETA's and routes were a tangle of misinformation. He claimed to have seen fighters and flak not reported by any other navigators.
I read the lead crew pilot's official report: "A five-hour trip. Major Rosenthal was command pilot and Captain Hill went along as second navigator. The mission was good as far as the leading went, but Captain Hill screwed up our bomb run. Our navigator gave me a 68-degree heading from the Initial Point to the target which would have been swell, but Leafy said the target was at one o'clock and the bombardier swung over as he ordered. Then he saw the target back at ten o'clock. By the time he got his course correction killed his rate was over and we messed up the run. So that's what one man can do to mess up the works."
In no time every navigator at Thorpe Abbotts was sure that Captain Leafy Hill was nuts.
But I could go home if he became the Group Navigator.
I did not have to solve the problem myself.
I was long overdue for a pass, and I decided that a London trip to see Landra Wingate might clear my head.
When I returned to the base, I heard quite a story.
One of the really great command navigators, Stewart Gillison, decided after he finished his tour that he wanted to stay in England. I welcomed him into Group Headquarters as my chief assistant. I could trust him with briefings.
Stew was not your normal guy. Under the circumstances of war, none of us were exactly level on course, but Stew was really something. At night, when he went to bed, instead of turning out the light, he shot it out with his 45 revolver. The ceiling of his room looked like a sieve, and the batman had to put in a new bulb every day.
When I got back from London, Leafy Hill was gone.
Stew had assigned Leafy Hill to fly as fill-in navigator with a crew Stew himself had flown with before he became lead. The crew flew out on the mission and came back.
Except that Leafy Hill was not with them.
When I asked Stew Gillison what happened to Leafy Hill, he said with deference unusual for him, "Major Crosby, I suggest that you don't ask."
I did ask. The pilot wouldn't tell me. The bombardier wouldn't tell me. But the copilot did.
Stew, their former navigator, instructed the crew what to do.
After the target when the group was at the R.P, a gunner called out, "We've been hit!"
That part of it was true, but that was standard. To some degree, we were almost always hit by flak over the target. Sometimes it hit the crew, and we died or we got Purple Hearts, but usually the flak only jarred the plane.
"We really weren't hit at all. The pilot only waggled the wings." The copilot continued the story.
This is what he said happened.
"Okay, pilot to crew, prepare to bail out. See you in Stalag."
"Roger, pilot." This was a chorus from the entire crew.
The pilot rang the alarm bell.
Whoosh! Out went, not all ten of the crew, but just Leafy Hill. He wasn't in on the joke.
When I heard the story I thought it was funny.
Leafy spent the rest of the Air War in Europe in a prison camp, wondering what happened to the rest of the crew.
And I spent the rest of the Air War in Europe as Group Navigator of the Bloody 100th.”

This is probably one of dozens of break up related asks but how do you move on from an amicable break up? I feel like it's easy to hate someone that did you wrong but much harder to move on from something good. We really cared about each other (we communicated problems, actively try to solve them, etc) but ultimately we have conflicting futures and it's not possible to have one together. I don't want to get rid of everything he gave me nor do I really want to separate. I still have the urge to hug him and hold his hand and call him pet names it's driving me insane :c

Amicable breakups are a special kind of uncomfortable. When so many suggestions for breakups are based on the assumption that you were terribly wronged and hate your ex-partner, it's frustrating to know how to deal with an amicable breakup.
My first suggestion is to examine deeply and honestly why you broke up. I have had multiple amicable breakups, and I felt the same way. They didn't do anything! It was all so good! However, we broke up. So was it all so good? Why did you break up? Is this temporary grief over the end worse than the ongoing mediocrity of a relationship that's loving but not working out? What do you feel has improved because of the breakup? Many answers to these questions will come over months, even years. It is still wise to examine them because it is so easy to romanticize the perfect thing you had even when it really wasn't. Sometimes two great people are inherently incompatible as romantic partners.
Second, it's okay if it was a lovely thing that simply didn't work out. Sometimes the reason is only that there wasn't a spark anymore, the timing was wrong, etc. The answer to this is the same, which is that even if it is not a reason that feels validating the breakup was necessary. A breakup doesn't mean the relationship was bad, just that it wasn't meant to continue in this form. It takes time to settle into this, but it does happen.
The first month or so is the hardest for these things. You still have the instincts for dating, as you mentioned. These do fade, but when they happen do not punish the urge. It's okay to feel that it's uncomfortable, it's also okay to smile over the beauty of the past. In a deeply amicable breakup, it is fully possible to shift into the role of friends. I do suggest giving each other some time without each other to gain stability on your own. However, after even a few months some people can reconnect with clearer outlooks and feel prepared to be friends. I am friends with my most recent ex, and I still text with her intermittently. It was awkward for some time, and also that feeling has faded into comfortable familiarity. You do not have to get rid of everything he gave you. I think it can be healthy to keep items from past relationships as long as you are honest with yourself about why. I still have some things from past relationships. The treasured memories do not disappear just because you are no longer dating. If you find yourself clinging to the memory of dating them via the items, it may be time to let them go. Additionally, be honest with any future partners about these items. A casual "oh yeah that painting was actually a gift from an ex" can be totally okay. Some items such as intimate ones may not be okay to keep, which is up to your discretion.
My common but important advice for any breakup is to focus on yourself. To release someone else from a role they held in your heart for a long time, we need to look and work within. Establish your life, hobbies, mindset, and outlook on your own. When you have a stable and powerful individual identity, it is so much easier to work through feelings over relationships. Don't be afraid to do the things you feel "belong" to your past relationship and remake them as your own. Engage deeply with yourself as you would with a partner, and dive into self-enjoyment.
Most of all, take tender care and allow yourself some heartache. It is okay for it to hurt. I cried and cried after my last break up and I needed it. You don't have to pretend it doesn't hurt. As you move on, focus on letting things flow by. You will be okay, see something that makes you think of them, and get a little heartache. Let it happen and pass until it no longer comes. Draw or write your feelings out, make a playlist for being bummed out (the trick is to make a second playlist for being happy!), and let yourself explore the feelings. Breakups feel like the end of the world but they are only the end of one phase out of millions of our lives. You will be okay, and you are so loved!

Hey! So I'm from the Jaime/Lannister side of the fandom but wanted to ask your opinion on where you think GRRM is going with Dany. I don't mean spell out her endgame or anything, but what messages do you think he is trying to impart through her character? I see so much Dark!Dany! theory shaped by the show that has just never really resonated with how I read her in the books. I see her more as a figure who will try to be Queen of Westeros, but will ultimately end up abdicating or even sacrificing herself during the LN because finding "home" is more important to her than ruling... but that is not based on much other than gut feeling. What do you think?
yeah idrgaf about the show tbh. i think it fundamentally misunderstood key themes that the books were exploring. corrupted/mad dany feels so deeply cynical to me. people have been reiterating this: she is a subversive messiah figure & she is given a narrative that is so often reserved for the “male hero”. the gender commentary in that would fall flat on its face to me if she becomes mad fascist female ruler like bffr. yeah, she will get darker come winds, like everyone else she will have to make choices and will face moral dilemmas because she is resolved to continue combatting the institution of slavery. she knows she will not be able to do it without dirtying her hands in some way. i think grrm is gonna explore the concept of necessary force and the question of when it is more moral to take a stand and draw blood: is it justified to cut off and burn something at the root, especially if the alternative is allowing the cancer to exist and continue to spread? the institution of slavery is a wound that cannot just be covered up with a bandaid. like this is a very important aspect of abolition. the only way i can see the idea of “madness” be relevant is in a more subversive john brown paralleling way with how people thought that man was insane bc he wanted to end slavery lmfao. if terrible people think you are mad for attempting to make radical changes that harm them that is a good sign. also would hate her becoming an aerys parallel like in the show like that is cringe bio essentialism territory, again, antithetical to the themes prevalent in these books. d&d’s #subversive #dark #unexpected ending was unironically the equivalent of:

do not want her ‘idealism’ to be completely robbed from her at any point either really. im not opposed to tragedy but i dont think id vibe with it being too cynical in this instance. this series is about earned romanticism. its heroes are the dreamers yada yada. it is about a dream of spring. i always thought she represented hope in some way. she is gonna be the flame during TLN, literally and metaphorically imo. i do think there are thematic and more abstract aspects to lightbringer, like yeah humanity uniting over an ideal for a better future & it can be about hope or whatever, which is why multiple characters have some kind of flaming sword foreshadowing, but a main one is gonna be dany and her dragons. like on top of all the pretty overt foreshadowing, like let us think about the logistics here, what is gonna do more damage to the others?? three magic nukes or some convenient dues ex machina magical flaming toothpick we forge out of murdering a woman? i also do not want to instantly write her off as a doomed martyr either though. i see the appeal in the tragedy of the kind girl who wanted a home dying without ever getting to live in the one she created but still leaving it for millions upon millions of people present and future… but also idk i am just not crazy about martyrdom as a trope unless it is executed very well. i like when characters survive for a cause rather than die for it. dany always kept persevering, not just for herself, but others: her children and her people, so i like when altruism is framed in that way. also i might be a little bitter if she is the only one to die from the new generation or whatever like in the show

Movie!Adrien HC: Writer as a career
I've been going back and forth in trying to think on what kind of career Adrien would want, especially that would nurture his Destruction. Recently, I've also added football striker and writer to the list of possibilities and while I'd want to see him be a part of the football team, I think a writer and linguist would suit him quite well
The first time we saw Adrien in the movie, he was in the library. I've always thought that he's a bibliophile in the movie because of that. Which is why I went 'huh, there's a thought' yknow?
Anyways, he'd be a versatile writer, writing whatever he wants in whatever form he wants it to be. Whether its short stories, entries, poems, lyrics, scripts or even full length novels, he writes them.
His words are rich and empathic. His style tears down prejudices and tropes. It always makes people think and forces them out of their comfort zones. He especially enjoys writing about themes that destroy presumptions and prejudices. It changes how people think, and he's not shy to confront harmful issues in his writings
Adrien's got zero tolerance for bullshit and refuses to write things that cater to the masses' harmful whims. In fact, he takes unholy glee in destroying themes and tropes that would romanticize or normalised harmful beliefs and actions even if it caused a number of outcries or controversies
(Not a lot of people knows this, but Adrien has a sadistic streak when it comes to destroying bigoted readers or critics. Or just bullshit in general)
When Nino achieved his dream in being a movie director, Adrien tends to be his first choice as the main scriptwriter. Now you can imagine the chaos these 2 best friends unleashes whenever a new movie comes out. While Nino would puff out his chest, proud for another job well done, Adrien would always have the biggest shit-eating Cheshire grin
As he grows as a writer, it becomes apparent that while its normal for writers to world build, Adrien does the exact opposite. He destroys worlds and structures, reshaping it into however he wants it. His writing style especially when it comes his novels is similar to Alice in Wonderland.
A nonsensical writing style to be more specific
For the most part, his books are written in simple language that most readers can understand. Most sentences are relatively short and straightforward. However, despite the use of simple syntax and short sentences, the style of his books is cheeky, charming and full of mischief. Plays on words, puns (so much PUNS), homophone confusion, and metaphors has since become Adrien's signature style.
The chapters for any of his books are all over the place and yet, there's always a level of intuitive logic to his insanity. Readers can randomly open any chapter within his books and would always be surprised on how they can still follow the story despite Adrien destroying worlds and any semblance of structure within it
His loved ones, especially Marinette, always end up getting immersed in Adrien's destructive, nonsensical writing which Adrien never passes up to tease her about
That's not to say that's the only way he writes. His works are always charming and heartfelt, earnest with every written word.
Adrien writes letters to his parents, burns them for Emelie in hopes that she'd received them. He collaborates writing scripts with Nino for his movies and becomes a trusted editor for Alya whenever they fact check an article together
and of course, he writes the sweetest, dorkiest things for Marinette. from sticky notes full of puns and compliments to romantic poems and lyrics (see 'My Lady' and 'Stronger Together'), you name it, he's done it for his beloved
So yeah, I think being a writer is something Adrien would really enjoy

spoilers for joker 2: a rant from a Harley Quinn lover
I know I haven’t been back in forever but what better way to come back then with a little joker 2 rant lmao specifically about Harley Quinn
I haven’t seen joker two so I may be wrong but going off what I heard:
can we talk about how weird it was of a male director to take a female character who has been a victim of ab*se for basically her entire existence and turn her into a liar and manipulative aggressor???? Like ????
I totally understand the whole “it’s not actually the DC version of them” (though I think that is the weakest argument from fans and directors) but Taking parts of Harley’s original stories (her parents, the baby she has with joker) and twisting them into lies and manipulation just feels wrong to me. especially since Harley’s ab*se by joker has been so glamorized and romanticized by so many people. I feel personally like it’s kind of gross to take a women who has been beaten and borderline killed by this man, and make her his manipulator. You take a women who was insanely smart and respected that was manipulated, pushed into acid and driven to insanity, and make her commit herself for a man she’s never met. You take a women who literally hid her child from this man to protect her daughter from him, who hid a pregnancy and literally STOPPED FIGHTING SOMEONE because she found out they were expecting, and make her fake a pregnancy to manipulate a man into killing people. Taking a character who over and over again has been victimized by this man, and only now has gotten media exposure that wasn’t just “jokers girlfriend and punching bag” and turning her into his ab*ser is….. a fucking choice to say the least.
there are 50 different ways they could have made a similar point to what they claim they were trying to make, and not absolutely shit on and demolish Harley’s entire character like that. taking ab*sed women and making them the ab*ser to make the violent man from the first movie not “technically” the villain is…. Say it with me! Kinda fucking weird! Especially when I now see incels using the court testimony lady (I forget her name I’m so sorry) and Harley as excuses for Arthur’s behaviour!!!!
any friendly discussion is super welcome!!! I wanna hear others thoughts, this was just my takeaway as someone who sympathizes very heavily with Harley’s original character.

I think that it's good that people in the Kaylor/Gaylor fandom are talking about the toxic implications of certain lyrics in various different songs of Taylor's. Even if Taylor was being hyperbolic and not literal with her lyrics about self-harm in songs like Is It Over Now? and The Tortured Poets Department, it's not something that anyone should be romanticizing, a person threatening to commit self-harm and/or suicide "because" of someone, especially a current or even former romantic partner, is a pretty common abuse tactic in domestic violence situations, including F/F domestic violence situations.
While I don't think that TTPD the song is meant to be taken %100 seriously because the tone of the song seems to be meant to be read as ironic going by some of the other lyrics to the song, Taylor herself has released enough songs where she has clear suicidal ideation in them and enough songs that suggest that she has a tendency to be verbally cruel towards her lover when she's angry in general just within the last four years that it's not exactly great that TTPD the song mentions suicide threats even if it's supposed to be "ironic", especially since she also has released plenty of songs within the last few years mentioning that her lover not only suffers from bouts of very severe depression but suggests that she thinks her lover is "too polite to leave (her)" in two different songs too 😬
Look, do I think that Taylor genuinely loves Karlie? Yeah, yeah, I do actually, I think that Taylor probably does genuinely love Karlie with all of her heart, but just because I think that Taylor probably genuinely loves Karlie with all of her heart doesn't meant that I think that Taylor shows her love for Karlie in healthy ways and I think that even Taylor is at least somewhat aware that the way she treats Karlie is really fucked up and extremely unhealthy for their relationship going by what she expresses in some of her songs.
And that picture of Karlie at Karen Elson's wedding looking lovingly at, presumably, Taylor doesn't mean that their relationship is necessarily healthy either. Taylor and Karlie first met in 2008 at an event called The Young Hollywood Awards when Kar was 15 and Tay was 18 and it seems like they've been in each other's orbit in one fashion or another ever since they first met 16 years ago. All Karlie looking adoringly at Taylor at the wedding means is that Karlie adores Taylor still even after all these years of Taylor allowing or even deliberately encouraging her fanbase to be hateful towards Kar.
Just because two people love each other a lot and have a long history together and who have known of each other for even longer doesn't mean that their relationship should be romanticized. Taylor and Karlie are two women who have major mental health struggles that have been working in a industry that dehumanizes women to a frankly insane extent since they were both literally children and who have a major power imbalance in their relationship which one of them holds over the other's head for her own benefit, that's extremely fucked up and unhealthy for a relationship even if there was some kind of "consent" initially involved.
Again imma say— the very rich & very famous accept many things most of us would find unacceptable or even awful in their personal relationships because it allows them to stay at the socioeconomic top!

1) empty cinema scene: ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED SCENES IN THE ENTIRE SHOW IM SO HAPPY YOU MENTIONED IT BECAUSE WE DON’T TALK NEARLY ENOUGH ABOUT IT!!!!! literally the proof that no one can cheer talay up and get him out of his own head like puen does!!!! talay's ridiculously fond smile as puen pretends the cinema is full of people, the way he actually plays along with it after the initial 'what the hell are you doing' reaction.... we always make fun of puen for being down bad BUT GOD TALAY IS SO SMITTEN TOO he sees puen tearing up while watching the movie (THEIR movie) and his first instinct is to gently wipe away those tears LIKE IF THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU WANT TO BITE YOUR OWN ARM OFF AND FEED IT TO THE WOLVES THEN I ENVY YOU TBH. and the most insane thing is that at the time he didn’t even know he was in love with puen, he hadn’t realized it yet, while puen was already fully aware of his own feelings for talay. puen who, during the voice over, says "it's you. if it wasn't for you, this movie wouldn't have happened. without you, my screenplay wouldn't be this good", which parallels what he tells talay at the end of episode 4, "if it's not you, i wouldn't be able to work this well". and looking back at it, i really feel like it shouldn't have surprised me so much to learn that puen realized he was in love with talay at the glass house, because he was basically shouting it from the rooftops. "which scene is your favorite?" talay asks him. "the last scene where both of them meet again in the coffee shop," puen answers, because "i went there with you". it's you. it can't be anyone but you. i love you, i love you, i love you. IM TRULY NEVER GONNA GET TIRED OF SAYING HOW THEY INVENTED PARALLELISM ROMANTICISM SOULMATISM ALSO NOT THEM BEING SO ENTHRALLED BY EACH OTHER THEY DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THAT UP AND AOU WERE THERE TOO PEOPLE IN LOVE ARE THE WORST

3.a) grafitti library scene: PAIN SUFFERING TORMENT AGONY ANGUISH BUT ALSO THE TENSION THE UNDERCURRENT THE WHOLE ENTIRE EVERYTHING OF IT ALL I HATE TO SEE THEM FIGHT BUT GOD I LOVE THIS SCENE I REALLY DO. i just think it's such an important moment, character-wise, and it's also the first big turning point in their relationship, just like the separation in episode 6 is, because the conflict is actually functional to their growth, especially puen's. puen is already so deeply in love here, but it's so painfully obvious that he has no idea how to go about it and that he is still struggling to find himself, so he defaults to what he knows, to being puen the actor, and that's what he ends up putting on, an act, a big over the top romantic one that could have come out from a movie, but even if the feelings behind it are genuine, the gesture itself isn't, and talay KNOWS, because puen is the kind of person that quietly waits outside his university all day just to spend a little more time with him, not the one that makes a spectacle out of it. this is what makes talay finally snap, because while we see him being very confused about his feelings throughout the episode, and very doubtful about puen's too, you can see that part of him did believe in puen's sincerity ("lately, someone has done something nice to me," talay says to dol a little later in the episode, "so nice that i thought he was serious"), which is why it hurts so much to see talay's crestfallen expression when he asks puen "so all you've done is for your screenwriting?" (and since we're talking about it SEA'S ACTING HERE IS SO GOOD AND YET SO UNDERRATED IM EATING MY FIST) and puen doesn't realize how upset talay really is until it's too late, until he tries to explain and maybe even confess something ("im not messing with you. i--") but talay doesn't want to listen anymore. however this rejection is essential to make puen understand that he has to stop hiding under puen the actor and start being puen the person if he wants to be with talay. this is a long process that will only end in episode 10, when he'll finally be ready to tell talay his name, but this was the first step towards it: as misguided as the kiss in the glass house is, it's also the moment where puen stops playing a role and starts following his feelings. i honestly don't think it's a coincidence that in this episode the password used for the association is "you're not a movie. you are real."
3.b) ‘Do you want me to live with you or do you want something 18+’ unhinged daydream: PEAK DERANGED PUEN MOMENT HE REALLY SAID LET ME ADMIT OUT LOUD ALL THE ROMANTIC DOMESTIC HALF HORNY FANTASIES I'VE EVER HAD ABOUT YOU. IM PRETTY SURE THAT IF TALAY DIDN'T STOP HIM HE REALLY WOULD HAVE GONE INTO FULL 18+ NSFW XXX TERRITORY THERE IS JUST NOT A SINGLE OUNCE OF SHAME IN THIS BOY'S BODY AND YET TALAY STILL THINKS HE’S DOING IT FOR THE BIT. INSANITY LUNACY MADNESS AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY HAVE I GONE CRAZY. on a more serious note, i already said it before, but i absolutely love how the talay in puen's daydreams is just like the real talay, so much so that we could hardly tell that what we were seeing wasn't actually what was happening, because it shows that puen loves him as he is, warts and all, and that in puen's head their relationship turning into a romantic one wouldn't change who they are or how they interact with each other: they would still bicker and banter and be friends, and that's one of the things i love the most about them. ALSO ALL THE DETAILS IN PUEN'S FANTASY ACTUALLY BECOMING TRUE MAKES ME WANT TO RIP MY HEART OUT AND EAT IT BUT LET'S NOT GO THERE
4) wedding scene: I HAVE MULTIPLE ORGANS FAILURE EVERY TIME I REWATCH THIS SCENE POSSIBLY BECAUSE THEIR OUTFITS HERE ARE MY FAVORITE FOR BOTH OF THEM IN THE ENTIRE SHOW BUT MAINLY BECAUSE PUEN IS REALLY OUT THERE JUST SAYING SHIT LIKE "I SHOULD JUST MARRY A COLORIST" IN EPISODE 4!!!!!! BOY HAS JUST REALIZED HE'S IN LOVE LIKE 2 DAYS AGO AND IS ALREADY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING IN HIS HEAD!!!!!! also i adore how the writers use this specific setting to let us know the characters' current attitude towards love: puen talking about getting married and having a partner vs talay being focused on working on the video, puen catching the bouquet with no fear vs talay shielding himself from it.... THIS IS WHY I DESPERATELY NEED THE PUENTALAY WEDDING IN OUR SKYY I /NEED/ P'X TO GIVE ME THIS PARALLEL IT WOULD SIMPLY BE SO DELICIOUS. and not to be that person but fucking raw in that venue right then and there would have been less obscene than the looks they be throwing at each other while puen tells the entire room he is hitting on talay and then gives him the bouquet. jimmysea really be showing up on set every day like we're gonna display so much adoration desire yearning and love through the look in our eyes alone AND I LOVE THEM SO MUCH FOR IT
5) puen reading shojo manga: OF COURSE PUEN WOULD LOVE SHOUJO WHEN HE IS SO INTO LOVE AND ROMANCE IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE AND IT'S HONESTLY SO ADORABLE I HOPE TALAY BUYS HIM AN ENTIRE LIBRARY FOR HIM TO FILL WITH ALL HIS FAVORITE MANGA. and i think it's interesting to point out that shoujo, much like the color pink, is something that has been forcefully connected to a whole set of 'feminine' characteristics that society tells men are off-limits for them: men don't need to be caring and sweet and romantic and cute.... but puen is very much all of these things, and maybe his reticence in admitting he likes shoujo is yet another way he hides his real self away because he's scared not to be liked, which makes talay's genuine interest all the more important. also we tend to associate shoujo with romance, but the three more common narrative themes in the genre are a focus on human relations and emotions, characters that defy traditional roles and stereotypes surrounding gender and sexuality, and depictions of supernatural and paranormal subjects. IDK ABOUT YOU BUT THAT SOUNDS VERY FAMILIAR TO ME
6) why they should stop eating so much junk food: THIS MAKES ME LAUGH SO MUCH EVERY TIME I READ IT BUT ALSO I REALLY DO HOPE THEY’RE SNEAKING SOME VEGETABLES IN BETWEEN ALL THE CHIPS AND FRIED CHICKEN AND PREMADE NOODLES AND DIFFERENT KIND OF SWEETS OR THEY’RE GONNA GET A HEART ATTACK BEFORE THE AGE OF 40 (thank god for the 0% sugar oishi drink at least sfjkshfkgs). also not me suddenly getting choked up at the thought of the two of them getting to 50 years old and finding out that talay’s pressure tends to get too high so puen studies a proper diet for it and makes sure talay follows it scrupulously NOT ME THINKING ABOUT OLD PUENTALAY GROWING VEGETABLES IN THEIR GARDEN AND REMINDING EACH OTHER TO TAKE THEIR MEDS EXCUSE ME FOR A SECOND I NEED TO GO WALK INTO TRAFFIC REAL QUICK YEAH NO BRB
7) snow scene: there are honestly many things i could talk about in this scene ("when you see snow again next time you will think of me", puen and talay having to play the characters, puen kissing talay's cheek, talay saying he doesn't like to be hugged, the freaking shaved ice made with snow and the oishi drink) BUT THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK ABOUT IS "YOU MUST ONLY BE HAPPY TALAY" LIKE IM SORRY BUT ISABELLE ADJANI GOING TITS OUT INSANE IN THE TUNNEL SCENE FROM POSSESSION HAS NOTHING ON WHAT I FEEL ABOUT THIS LINE IT'S IN MY TOP 10 MOST ROMANTIC PUEN'S LINES AND IT DRIVES ME CRAZY IN WAYS I CAN'T REALLY EXPLAIN AND I WISH I COULD SAY ANYTHING COHERENT ABOUT IT BUT RN THERE ARE JUST AMBULANCE SIRENS GOING OFF IN MY HEAD

Twenty Things I Have Learned Before Entering My 20s:
i. If it's good: Alhamdulillah. If it's bad: Alhamdulillah.
ii. Romanticize life! As cliché as it might sound, it indeed is very important! This is exactly how my coping mechanism works: this world is ruthless, it's evil most of the time, but the world can also be a very very pretty place! I am a simple human, I try to cling to the prettier side of things more.

iii. No matter how good things are between me and the people I have in my life, if there's something I would rather not share about myself, and if it's not affecting the relationships I have with them, then no, I am not obligated to do so. Not everything feels good to be shared, and it's a feeling I have come to know as very common. You can keep certain things to yourself and still be a good person and a good friend.
iv. Not to sound contradictory but opening up most of the times does feel good! Letting the thoughts floating in your mind to gently land before someone can be very relieving and not as dreadful as you might have thought. Do it more often with the right people and allow yourself some peace.
v. If life gives you cats, you! pet! them! Forever thinking about how in documentary 'Kedi', I heard a Turkish proverb that says — "A cat meowing at your feet, looking up at you is life smiling at you." :']

vi. Platonic love holds the same importance and place as romantic love does! Both are love, and both are supposed to be treated like one; gently, delicately, carefully, respectfully, and most importantly, with its sweet reciprocation.
vii. Never shy away from "I don't know"s! No one knows how to deal with everything, and it is alright! Let people know that this might or might not be your first life and there are still things you have no information about! And it's OKAY! If their reaction discourages you, then don't ponder over it much. I have come to know that the words "I don't know" are indeed very magical, and magic is all about courage. Not everyone loves magic, not everyone's okay with certain kinds of courage, but the world still goes on.
viii. The act of exploration is not always the one where you take a huge backpack with yourself all set to travel the oceans and wander around. It's also buying a drink you have never tried before, praying to God that it's decent enough. It's about listening to an album and leaving it midway because it's just not for you. It's also about finding out what color suits you best and what's just not meant to be. These little explorations are what make you an explorer. The word might weigh heavy on some tongues, but to me, I have always been an explorer.
ix. Try not to hold grudges. Honestly. Let things go and embrace yourself with the calmness it brings with it.
x. Please do not be rude to your parents. In most cases, they are indeed trying their best to be a parent. Be gentle with them.
xi. if no one got me, i know my siblings got me. (i love u two so much (never mention this to me, ever. please. thanks.))
xii. In most cases, actually go with your first instinct. Whether it's running away from a person or getting yourself a new, never-tried-before attire.
xiii. Sab ne aisa mehsoos karaya hoga ki you are always a part of some unheard competition: age wise, grades wise, taste wise etc. But to be very honest, if you don't want it that way, there's literally no need to bother yourself thinking about it. You are moving forward in this so-called race marathon at your own pace. Just try to have fun with it.
xiv. The behaviours towards you are mostly (not always, though!) reciprocated.
xv. Friends !!! Friendships !!! Jitna ho sake, hold on to them achche se !! They were strangers once, jinke life got intertwined with yours in either the most mundane way or the most insane way! how beautiful is that, honestly?

xvi. If you're putting in your efforts, don't berate yourself for expecting some in return. It's all selfless act but it also should be somewhat mutual.
xvii. Those people who preach about living in the moment are actually right. Live in the moment! Baad ka baad mein chordo if it's too much pain or overwhelming. Majority of what's bothering you actually is just in your head (i'm not good at convincing myself on this either but i am trying my best). Aur waise bhi, you gotta be present in the moment to cheer it as a sweet or a bittersweet memory aage. Imagine going through it all and not even remembering how good it felt back then before the consequences (that goes away as fast as they arrive, mostly) hit.

xviii. With utmost sincerity, expect good things to happen to you and watch the magic unfold. Be gentle to yourself and watch your life copy that trait for you.
xix. It’s never just black and white. Never just right and wrong. Never just "they hate me" and "they love me". There's always a grey area. Always an okay in-between. Always a coexistence just right. There is always a medium ground. Almost always a 3D view of a situation that looks 2D. Never be too quick to judge another creature or to jump to a conclusion.
xx. Everything passes. This too shall pass.
