Indra Otsutsuki

💜Indra has always been quite monopolizing of your time and it only got worse after he abducted you. However, he reaches an entirely new level when he finds out that you are expecting his baby. He has always wanted to have a few children with his darling, always wanted some heirs to continue his bloodline after he would perish from this earth. You find himself low-key hovering around you as soon as he knows about it, black eyes always gazing at your slowly swelling belly. It is hard to be left alone after this as Indra is always within a few feet from you to ensure that nothing can touch you. It isn't hard to notice the possessive pride gleaming in those black orbs of his whenever he looks at you and your growing belly. After all in his eyes nothing binds a husband and his wife more together than a baby born from the marriage. It is the last claim that he needs in order to fully feel like he has you claimed forever as his and he looks forward to the birth of the child.

💜​It is hard to imagine how someone would have gotten that far without being brutally murdered by Indra. On the other hand besides a doctor who tends to you and the growing baby, Indra doesn't have anyone who could watch over you if he should be gone for a while. Those trust issues are what ultimately leads you to be abducted and as soon as Indra has found out about it, the wrath consumes him utterly as red eyes burn with hunger for violence, the colour of his eyes a foreshadowing for all of the blood that will be spilled in the near future. His mind goes back and forth between hot and violent anger and bounded rationality as he tracks you and the future corpses down. He has always been dangerous but now that you have been taken away just when he started mellowing out slowly with the heartwarming thought of greeting his child soon into this world, he relapses completely as he turns into a monster that has no place for mercy as he slaughters even innocent people.

💜​His Susanoo wreaks havoc on the entire landscape as soon as Indra has found their hideout and has detected where you are kept. Screams are all that you hear from outside before in one quick swoop, the roof is suddenly gone and a terrifying creature looks inside, glowing as if it is made out of purple fire. Neither you nor your captors can even utter a single word in presence of this monster as one of its hands reaches out to grab you, surprisingly gentle in the way it holds you all whilst its other hand crushes the other people inside the now destroyed building. You hear silent screams quickly dying down from your high position, don't dare to look down all whilst cowering in the purple palm, hands wrapped around your swollen middle. It all happens so fast as he heartlessly murders every person he finds within the small district, paranoid that if he lets one live they will come for you again as well as driven by a deadly thirst for revenge. Only after the massacre his Susanoo lets you down in the ruins.

💜​Nothing happened to you nor to the baby even with all the stress your body went through and the malnourishment you received for the last few days. Perhaps this is the only reason that keeps Indra from losing himself to violence once again but this ordeal has left some scars on him. Indra has gotten seemingly more paranoid and agitated as he shows an increased hostility even against the doctor who nurses you back to health. He doesn't allow you to be alone anymore as he even takes you with him when he does his rigorous training even as you grow heavier with his child. His eyes constantly return to you in an increased frequency that they haven't done before as he needs the constant reassurance that you are still in the same spot you were in only one minute ago. This increase of guarding paranoia seems to peak in your last trimester where you are at your most vulnerable before it dies a tad bit down when you eventually go into labor and birth him a healthy baby boy.

Madara Uchiha

🌑​Your pregnancy is a big deal to the entire Uchiha clan as the baby you carry will be the next heir after Madara. You have always gotten a lot of attention merely for being his spouse but with the announcement of your pregnancy, all eyes are even more on you. At times Madara does like to show you off to the rest of the clan, especially once your baby bump starts showing. After all it is delightful to see you growing with his baby and there is a promiment pride he feels for knowing as well as seeing how everyone now sees physical proof for the love he feels. No one could deny now that you belong to Madara Uchiha, not even you. On the other hand he fully understands that the elder of his clan can be a true pain in the ass as they turn their attention more and more to you now that you will give birth to the next Uchiha heir and he does you the huge favor of shielding you from them as good as he can. They demand time for you, time he would rather have you spend with him.

🌑​A lot of duties are still resting on his shoulders but he has chosen some guards himself to look out after you now that you are to give birth to his child in only a few months. However, very few could have ever seen it coming that someone would actually manage to abduct you in Madara's absence and there is a huge shock that comes crashing down on the entire clan when the news come out. Madara is completely enraged, the wrath fueling the inferno that is threatening to burst out of him and burn down everything around him. Actions are immediately taken before the news can reach people outside the clan for it would be shameful to let others find out about such a disastrous mistake. Only a handful of people outside the Uchiha clan such as the Hokage are informed yet Madara rejects all help his old friend offers him and so does the clan as they feel like they have to get you back without any help from outside since this is a problem they have to solve themselves. Madara doesn't even want help from his own clan as he sees it entirely as his own responsibility.

🌑​Despite the heavy weight he feels on his shoulders, none of them is shown on the outside nor is any mercy directed against the enemies as the Uchiha work fast and waste no time. The rest of the team that tags along is honestly overkill as Madara himself is enough to handle everything, besides the medics that is as they come along to cater to you as soon as you are freed. The entire outcome is decided within only a few minutes where Madara effortlessly fights his way to you and leaves a path of carnage behind. When he eventually reaches you, even you feel cold chills running down your spine as you look into ruthless eyes with activated Sharingan. It is expected though as you are reminded that your spouse is a man who has fought and killed ever since he has been a little child. He speaks not a single word as he frees you from the ropes you were tied up with, his face hardened to not let any of the worries he is feeling right now show as he is still within enemy territory.

🌑​He never forgives the guards for their grave mistake as those poor souls are taken apart by not only his palpable rage but also the elders of the clan who feel ashamed for this whole ordeal. The Uchiha clan prides itself after all for their strong warriors. Madara makes it afterwards quite clear that he will not leave you alone anymore afterwards so the responsibilities will have to come to him from now on. That or he will bring you along the next time he has to go somewhere else. In either case, you will not be allowed to leave his gaze from that day on. The only reason why there haven't been serious consequences for your former guards is simply because you and the baby weren't harmed in the process. Everything is still kept a secret though so that the other citizens of Konohagakure don't find out and Hashirama sees it through to take care of that as well. The only news that are allowed to reach even those outside the clan is when Madara's son is born and the clan celebrates his birth.

Hashirama Senju

🌳​When it comes to well-known publicity of your pregnancy, this is definitely something the whole village will know of at one point. Hashirama wouldn't mind that much since he likes to view the village as one big family but it his own clan as well as his brother who put their feet down and decide to be show more caution for now. News of your pregnancy shouldn't be made public instantly as all of them insist to have a more wary approach to all of this. As beloved as Hashirama may be, he has a lot of enemies too and for that it is of utmost importance to let no one know that you carry his heir as of now. There is a noticable increase of guards and safety meassurements, all instructed by his clan. It dampens your freedom by a good bit and you complain about this to Hashirama. He attempts to lessen the restrictions because whilst he also knows that you have to be safely guarded, he thinks his clan is overdoing it even if they do it with good intentions in mind.

🌳​Hashirama has been even more insanely clingy ever since he found out that both of you will be parents soon and he has gotten even more euphoric when the first noticable movements of the baby happened. Yet he is a man loaded with duties and responsibilities and he is well aware of that. The reluctance he has always felt when leaving you turns to cold and unaltered horror when he receives the news that someone managed to sneak into the residence of his clan where you were spending your time and abducted you, most likely with the goal of blackmailing the Hokage later on. This is a huge deal for the entire facility centered around the Hokage as well as the entirety of his clan yet it is a strictly guarded secret that isn't allowed to be passed down to the citizens. In between all of the chaos Hashirama is positively hysteric as his emotions are threatening to drown him in his own despair. One meltdown, tears and a brother who chastises him for his lack of composure later, he is firm in his decision to be join the team sent out to rescue you.

🌳​With Tobirama's terrifying sensory abilities and the skills of every member of the team combined, everything goes terrifyingly smooth. Little to no mercy is shown as it is a crime of high tier to abduct the pregnant spouse of the Hokage, especially for the Senju clan since this is the next heir and allowing something to happen whilst under their supervision would be a forever stain in their pride. His wood release could cause some serious destruction but he wields it wisely to not potentially harm you in any way. His little brother accompanies him to the room he can sense your chakra coming from, barely able to hold his brother back from just storming there without any plan since he needs to see you and know that his baby and you are both doing fine. Hashirama, who has prioritised your rescue over revenge, overwhelms anyone who tries to stop him easily with his strength. He knows he should keep his composure but he can't help himself from shedding a couple of tears and barely suppressed sobs when he finds you.

🌳​Paranoia eats from that day on his soul away. There have been no serious injuries on you and the medics have assured him that everything seems to be fine with the fetus but none of it can truly erase the amount of emotions he has felt within only 24 hours. Hashirama glues himself to your hips from that day on and refuses to leave you alone again. His own clan has to apologise to you as they would have never expected someone to slip past them just like this. A few of the people who were involved in your abduction have been taken prisoner and are harshly interrogated and he fears that there might be more people like them out there who would try to take you and your baby away from him. You are smothered in affection and apologies from that day on as Hashirama seems to be imconsolable for what you had to go through. The paranoia and increased clinginess stays even after you had a successful birth and both of you became parents to a cute boy.

Tobirama Senju

🌊​Tobirama has always been focused on his clan but never that much on having his own family with someone. His mind has always been more focused on seeing it through that the village his brother established with dreams survives, especially one he is named Second Hokage. Work has always been on his mind as he views his duties seriously even if that may make him seem like a strict and cold man. Nevertheless though, your pregnancy has been planned by him beforehand and even you agreed to it despite the occasional disdain you may feel due to his strict supervision. He can sense the chakra presence of the little one long before anyone else notices and since he is a sensor type he isn't above locating your position even if he shouldn't be around you. That doesn't mean that he won't let you be without any help as you have a whole team of Anbu watching over you from the shadows whilst he is in the office and works on everything that needs to be done.

🌊​Growing unease and panic chew him away on the inside yet he doesn't show it as he lashes out on the Anbu that are forced to give him a report. If he would have time he would lmost likely pace back and forth in his office in panic and run his fingers through his hair in attempts to suppress the emotions brooding inside of him but he doesn't have it. Time is sacred, especially since you are in your last trimester with his child. Everything happens so fast as he assembles a team of highly skilled shinobi and medics he trusts, detects your presence by using his skills to sense you and heads out with them. Your chakra presence and the smaller chakra presence inside of you are the only thing he has to know that both of you are still alive yet he denies himself the feelings of fear and worry in order to focus on a mission he has to fulfill. He is tense though as well as harsh, prone to criticise everything even amongst his team. They gain quickly a good grasp of the place you are kept in as well as the guards before they head out to retrieve you.

🌊​Tobirama has specifically ordered to keep only a few alive for interrogation later on but that has to be done by someone who isn't him. He proceeds as ruthless and cold as he has always done in times of war only that no one in here comes close to stopping him. He just follows your chakra presence whilst slaying everyone he comes across, red eyes cold and hardened from years of battle. Even you sense the change around him when he enters the room you are kept in and recoil in fear before easing up since you at least know that Tobirama wouldn't harm you. The harsh mask melts though, even if only a bit when he finds you. He only has so much time though as he does a quick checkup on you but he isn't able to find anything grand. The only thing that worries him is the air of stress and fear around you as you are still shaken up by everything that occured. He has to help you outside and he takes a different route to spare you from the carnage he single-handedly created on his way to save you.

🌊​His team has to slow down siginificantly with you as you are in a delicate condition which isn't optimal since they are still in enemy territory. To make everything even worse, your water breaks on the way back to Konohagakure and Tobirama barely manages to leave enemy territory before the whole team has to stop in order to assist you to give birth. The two medics he has brought along have never proven to be a better decision then now as they know what to do and take for a little while charge as they order the others what to do if they want to be of any help. Meanwhile the people who know of what has happened with you get increasingly angsty as Tobirama has been gone for longer than they anticipated but all of them refuse to believe that anything has happened. All of them are in for quite a surprise though when the whole team returns. Tobirama, despite still keeping part of his ruthless demeanor, seems to be in a slightly better mood as he looks at the little girl with a tuft of silver hair on her head with a soft gleam in his eyes as you hold her.

Kakashi Hatake

📖​Kakashi has recently just been bombarded with responsibility after responsibility. He has been named the new Hokage of the village just recently and is still in the process of settling down in his new position with new duties that have been interfering significantly with the time he used to spend stalking watching you and now he has to come up with a new way to keep an eye out for you to keep you from anything stupid. Only for you to then drop the next bomp onto him. You're expecting a child. His child. He spends an entire minute silently staring at you, too little yet too many thoughts going through his mind as he processes your words. In hindsight he is more surprised that it took so many years for you to get pregnant because Kakashi has always been quite kinky, brimming with ideas due to the books he is always consuming. In that moment though he feels quite overwhelmed as his life is undergoing so much drastic changes. Both of you decide in a long discussion later on that you'll keep the child though.

📖​Then something else happens though that nearly threatens to break him down under everything that has been happening in his life already. You are abducted, something that would have never happened if he would have been still a Jonin without as much responsibilities as he has now as the Sixth Hokage. Then he is plunged into a terrible commotion that breaks out as you are now the spouse of the new Hokage after all which makes this entire accident all the more terrible. Kakashi feels almost numb from the sudden shock. It hasn't been that long since you have told him of the pregnancy and he hasn't told anyone about it yet. The people who have abducted you are probably none the wiser. If something were to happen to you at this early stage in the pregnancy... His mind is quite detailed to provide him with a couple of images that make his heart and stomach twist simultanously as he feels icy fear rising up inside of him. Despite some people arguing that he is the Hokage, he heads out himself for this mission.

📖​Everyone on the team knows Kakashi personally so they can sense the sorrow and guilt he feels deep inside as he is very quiet and stuck in his own thoughts during the mission. He is deeply troubled and the new weight that seems to have wrapped itself around his chest won't go away as it only grows heavier every minute. The feeling of urgency grows more and more and reaches its peak when the hideout of the abductors is found and the commotion breaks out when the two forces clash with each other. Kakashi spares little to no time in making his way to you as all of his own emotions are having their own fights whilst he deflects all of the enemy attacks before murdering them in cold blood. It is only after he has rescued you that he feels like the weight is slowly lifted off of his chest. It is quite awkward though when the medic he has brought along finds out about the pregnancy whilst examining you, although they are sensible enough to only tell him this in absence of everyone else.

📖​It isn't long after that news eventually spread slowly amongst the village as it is getting harder to keep your pregnancy a secret at this point. Kakashi isn't too comfortable about others finding out but it was inevitable at this point. What he didn't do prior to your abduction he makes up for now though as you are truly smothered underneath his overprotective paranoia. The only positive thing that has been gained from this incident is that he has started accepting the fact that he is going to be a father and have a child as he got a taste of what it would feel to lose it and you together in one swift motion. Never again. He is very reserved to answer any questions related to your pregnancy though as he shows a very great level of wariness still. A part of Kakashi is still feeling quite insecure about raising a new life with you that will be entirely his responsibility but he is feeling a fierce determination growing inside of him when months later his son is born into the world and he sees him for the first time.

Obito Uchiha

🔥​He is bound to find out very quickly as he is pretty much the only person who is around you as you have no one else to rely on. Upon being told of the news that you are expecting, he feels simultanously a surge of unwavering paranoia as well as euphoric ecstasy running through his veins which heightens everything even more as he becomes quite emotional. This wasn't an intended result despite his sexual fantasies of impregnating you but it shouldn't come as a huge surprise either. Obito embraces the situation pretty quickly and he is coaxing you into being happy too if you should show signs of fear or reluctance. Yet he seems to be so skittish about letting a doctor around you even if he knows that he doesn't possess the needed medical knowledge to assist you through birth. It is then that Zetsu, the only one who finds out about it, offers to help Obito in the matter and manages to convince the Uchiha to accept the help. His focus shifts even more from that day on as your safety and comfort become even more important.

���​The one time, the one time, where Zetsu has to force him to separate from you as there has been some urgent business regarding the Akatsuki, some bounty hunters find the house as well as you and take you away. Obito is hysteric when he returns to the empty house, his Mangekyo Sharingan activated as he is about to murder Zetsu as he holds him responsible for it only for the other Akatsuki member to avert Obito's wrath by promising that he will quickly find you as time is of essence. Obito gives him a strict time limit as he has known the being called Zetsu since years already which is his saving grace. As promised, Zetsu doesn't take long to drag you down but even this short time has already damaged Obito's mental health significantly as he relies on you to keep his sanity intact. He doesn't want to live without you and he doubts that he could do it anyways, now more than ever since the only good thing besides having you in his life has taken place inside of you. If anything happens to you or the baby, he will commit genocide against humanity.

🔥​Zetsu is left in the dust as soon as Obito has found out from him where you are as the Uchiha doesn't even bother to listen to anything else. The only thing overwhelming his mind in that moment is you and his child and he feels the dark and intense rage growing every second as he hunts the bounty hunters down. They are not prepared when he attacks in the middle of the night as soon as he has spotted their silhouttes and they are entirely caught off-guard as he slaughters all of them. From the information they managed to squeeze out of you, they knew that you were connected to one of the Akatsuki but nothing could have prepared them from the monster of a man murdering every single one of them without even caring what they have to say. It is a brutal scene as only you and the silver moon shining in the sky remain the only witnesses to the terribly incident that happens on that night. You're left in tears after everything you just saw yet Obito is instantly smothering you with sickly sweet affection despite their blood staining his face and body.

🔥​He cranks up the clinginess and affection to a whole new level after that incident. He only grows to hate the world even more as it nearly took the most precious people in his life away from him. From that day on you truly don't get any break from him though as he is with you from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep, never straying away from his touches once. Zetsu knows better than to ever ask of him to abandon your side for a short moment again unless he wants to risk being attacked by Obito again. It is quite exhausting mentally for you though with all of the isolation, especially now that you are expecting. Obito on the other hand continues feeding you with poisoned honey to make you forget about all of the worries and help you focus on what is most important right now. He gets quite giddy when both of you start speculating that you might carry twins and the speculations are proven to be true when you give birth to two little girls who almost make him want to cry with how precious they are.

Shisui Uchiha

🍂​Shisui has never been exceptionally focused on the prospect of having children of his own yet as the years have gone by, more and more people from his own clan have been asking him this question time and time again. He himself has given it a lot more thought recently but he seeks your own opinion about it as well. He would like having a kid or two of his own but it is no urgent need of his. The pregnancy has been a decision both of you have agreed to though and he has been doing some preparations since. He has arranged some time he will have for himself and will spend with you as soon as you are in your last few weeks and he is actively praying that nothing will happen that would force him to abandon your side. At the same time he is initially very much careful to only tell a few trusted individuals to prevent the news leaking out and so that everyone in his clan finds out. Itachi is one of the first people who finds out and Itachi is one of the few people he wholeheartedly trusts around you as well.

🍂​He is on a mission with the Anbu when the urgent message arrives him and it is the first time that he has abandoned a mission as quickly as he did as he knows what is more important to him in that moment. He will deal with the consequences later. He heads back to the Leaf Village and any critic anyone could want to give him for throwing his current mission away dies down the moment they take a look at his Sharingan as there is a cold and chilling rage around him. Apparently a team has already been dispatched to find you and as soon as he has figured out where they suspect your current location to be, he is leaving the village once again. The icy rage brooding inside of him is not one that lashes out on others though which allows him to be fairly composed as he is quickly catching up to the team already sent out to save you from the people who have abducted you. Eventually he can sense them in front of him and a little while later he has caught up to them.

🍂​A few of them are quite astonished to see Shisui there. Itachi, who was also away with the Anbu but returned sooner to the village and insisted on being made part of the mission, isn't nearly as surprised. He is hastily informed of everything that he should know before he takes charge of everything as he is one of the most experienced and skilled shinobi in the team. He quickly gathers everything he needs to know by capturing one of the guards close to the hideout and putting him under a genjutsu before they proceed with the mission. It is sneaky, quiet and for that all the more deadly as no one knows what is going on as person after person is silently assassinated. There is little to no commotion which catches you all the more by surprise when Shisui suddenly enters the cell you have been kept in with a familiar grin on his face to give you a sense of security. He tells you though that he would like you to close your eyes and to trust him as he leads you outside to spare you from the sight of slashed throats and puddles of blood.

🍂​Shisui ultimately escapes all criticism and backlash he could have received from the council as well as some members of the Uchiha clan. Mainly because of his talent but also because the icy ire that overcomes him whenever someone even suggests that his job as an Anbu is more important than your life and the life of his twins, as both of you have recently found out, makes it for everyone around him hard to breathe as they soak in this cold wrath of his. Itachi feels a lingering sense of guilt for having been also away at the time of your abduction and so Shisui and him try to arrange it that one can be with you when the other one is on a mission. It's better to be safe than sorry again after all. Shisui's prayers seem to be heard as he is able to spend the last few weeks of your last trimester with you without anything grand happening that would require his skills. So he is able to be with you when your water breaks and is able to witness the birth of his two sons.

Itachi Uchiha

🍡​A child and a family has been something Itachi has given up on ever since he took the responsibility of slaughtering his entire clan and joining the Akatsuki. He doesn't try to dwell on any what-if-situations as they are merely distracting daydreams he could never have for himself anymore. Yet you have made him prone to the occasional daydreams again, an ability he thought he had buried. It is a short and blissful spark of imagination yet he wants it to stay that way. As only an imagination. Yet destiny fulfills him a silent yearning that Itachi has forbidden himself to indulge in when you admit to him that you think that there is a possibility that you might be pregnant. You see his normally stoic and calm face being overtaken by a troubled and worried expression before he quickly smooths his expression as he pushes everything down. Suddenly you feel self-conscious about the pregnancy and Itachi senses your growing distress. He takes you in his arms, promises you that he isn't mad and that both of you will find a way to make it work.

🍡​Yet there are challenges littered all along the way as even you know that his life isn't really suited for a baby. He belongs to the Akatsuki, he has a high bounty on his head and he is sometimes gone for weeks to do a mission. There is so much to figure out still and then the final drop finally causes the barrel to overflow when bounty hunters track the house down as they have collected hints that one of the Akatsuki has recently been seen around the area. All of that happens whilst Itachi has been forced to go on another mission, very reluctant though with your current situation. He returns nearly two weeks later and that despite having actually hurried up to finish the mission faster than normally. Even Kisame has noticed that there is something that bothers him. His heart turns to ice, coldness filling his veins as he can find old traces of a fight in the cottage and knows what must have happened. It's like someone put the burden of the entire world on his shoulder as a feeling of helplessness creeps upon him.

🍡​Itachi completely disappears for a while to the point where not even Kisame knows where he is. Nights are spent chasing after every little hint that he can grasp and as time passes on, Itachi finds himself growing colder and ruthless in his methods as he slowly feels like someone gnaws away his sanity. He has to do this all by himself with no one to rely on yet sleepless nights and restless days eventually lead him to find the bounty hunters who have taken you and who have imprisoned you ever since. Maybe it is the fact that he has experienced incredible amounts of silent stress and grief for so many days or maybe it is the fact that he hears how they talk so condescendingly about you and dismiss your pregnancy that leads him to suddenly snap but whatever is the reason, the results are terrifying. They can't even blink nor scream before they are dead, the short look of terror in their eyes the only thing Itachi allows himself to enjoy before he rushes to your side.

🍡​Guilt and paranoia cling to his skin for the following months which leads him to cling more to you. Despite your condition being ultimately fine aside from mild injuries and malnourishment, it is safe to assume that both of you have gotten quite scared from the whole ordeal. You seek Itachi equally as much out which results in both of you to stick together a lot more prior to the whole abduction from the bounty hunters. Itachi could have enjoyed this more if it wouldn't have been the result of such a traumatising experience for the both of you. He has to find a new place for you to stay in now that the old house has been found once and his guilt only increases for having to put you through all of this despite having just been imprisoned for weeks. He knows that the Akatsuki would never tolerate him skipping missions so he is fully prepared to leave a shadow clone with you even if it will cost him energy and half of his chakra. It is a difficult situation but he knows that he'll do absolutely everything to find a way to make it work when his beautiful daughter is born.

Sasuke Uchiha

💙​You have always sort of known that Sasuke would eventually bring up the topic of children with you but it happens sooner than you would have expected it to happen. Sasuke will have at least one child and that isn't even up for debatte but he wants you to want it too since his child deserves attentive parents who will raise them and so he tries to coax you into the idea in hopes that you will at least agree somewhat to it all. He starts searching for a house to settle in as soon as he starts actively trying for a baby with you and he finds one at the same time that he also senses that everything has worked and that you carry his child. It is a strange sensation for him to actually settle down since he hasn't felt anything remotely close to a domestic life ever since both of his parents died. 💙​You share the terror with your abductor as both of you have a bonding experience when Sasuke quietly appears in the place. Both of his eyes are quickly scanning you to gain a first impression on how your condition is before they settle on the person next to you. The brief glimmer of worry in his eyes completely vanishes as he glares at them, his gaze unnerving and so cold that even you feel chills from it. In a measly attempt born out of pure desperation, they try to threaten your own life. A sickening crack is heard as Sasuke appears next to them in less than the blink of an eye and breaks their arm that held a kunai threateningly to your belly. You hear him briefly mutter to you to look away with barely suppressed rage in his voice and the only thing you can do is to squint your eyes and try to blend out the short anthem of pain and screams that occur before they die down. You still refuse to open your eyes as you are already feeling nauseous enough. Sasuke guides you outside again before telling you that you can open your eyes again.

💙​He immediately sends a message so that the doctor from a nearby town can visit and examine your condition. Luckily for you and everyone else they deem that nothing serious has happened and that the fetus as well as you should be fine with enough care and rest. Only the devil knows what Sasuke would have done if anything would have happened. He has learned a lesson the hard way though as he from that day on doesn't stray away from your side anymore at all. He either takes you with him if you are feeling well enough, since exercise and fresh air is important, or he stays at home with you if you shouldn't feel too well. He kind of settles in the more he embraces the idea of his incoming fatherhood as months fly by and you grow heavy with his first child. He sends a message to the doctor as soon as your water breaks and you start feeling the contractions coming in. You spent painful hours laboring before you finally give birth to a little girl who fills his heart with pride and love.

As Teenagers:

✧ Obito was a very charming boy around you after he had warmed up to the idea of you staying on his team for the rest of your lives. You had now become the light of his day, completely replacing Rin. It was ironic how the last thing he wanted to happen was actually the first thing he’d come to love. Sure, he missed Rin, but you were there now. He surrounds you with his presence and surrounds himself around you at all times. That means that his pictures of Rin he had so dearly kept up in his room were suddenly taken down and replaced by your lovely face. If you compared the amount of pictures he had of Rin with the ones he has of you now, you definitely win. Apart from completely revolving his life around you, he makes sure to always be there for you; asking how you are, if you need anything, if you ate, etc. He wants you to enjoy his presence as much as he loves yours, and he wants you to feel loved by him. He doesn’t hide his growing crush, and it makes a certain silver haired boy boil inside. 

✧ Kakashi gets fed up with Obito easily, as always, but when it comes to you, he can’t help but let his mouth move on his own. He always tries to embarrass Obito in front of you, and make himself seem better than his friend. Although you quickly shut Kakashi off and tell him that what he had just said wasn’t nice, he rolls his eyes and mutters a small apology just so you’re not mad at him. Thankfully, you never stay mad at him for too long, which he deeply appreciates. Like how he appreciates how naïve you are sometimes, because he loves to lie. He had never lied before, but once his feelings for you began to blossom, it became a habit of his. It started off as a small, harmless lie. When you asked him if he had seen your lovely bracelet that Obito had gifted you, he said no, while stuffing his hands in his pockets nonchalantly. Your disappointed frown made him slightly smile as he clutched that stupid bracelet of yours. He could always give you a new one. From then on, he began to lie more constantly, and he couldn’t stop himself from doing so. He lied to keep you interested in him, or to make you look for him. He liked when you needed his help, and he wasn’t shy to sabotage a few things just so you asked him for help. 

✧ Both Kakashi and Obito knew that they were in love with you. They hadn't mentioned it to each other, but it was pretty obvious for the both of them. At first, they didn’t mention anything about it, but as they fought for your attention, it became obvious they needed to get this sorted out. At least, that’s what Kakashi thought. The boy knew Obito wouldn't be very flexible with you, considering how possessive he was, but once he caught said boy pressing his lips onto a framed picture of you while he passed by his house, he found that as the perfect opportunity to either blackmail him or make a pact. “If you don’t want (Y/N) to think you’re a total freak, then you’ll listen to what I have to say,” Kakashi’s threat made Obito sit still and quiet. There was no way he could live with himself if you ever thought he was a weirdo! So, with much irritation, he hesitantly listened to what his rival had to say. Kakashi explained that he knew Obito had feelings for you, and unfortunately, he did too. Of course, Obito wanted to speak and argue, but Kakashi shut him off immediately. “Let’s make a deal. We don’t have to fight over her. On the contrary, let’s work together. It’s obvious you want to keep her safe just as much as I do, and I don’t want her to end up like Rin,” The mention of Rin made Obito tense. At the end of their talk, they decided to put their rivalry aside when it came to you. They trusted each other enough to ‘share’, and they were very selfish kids, so that was surprising. 

✧ The boys spend all their time with you. They are there at your beck and call, and you’re glad they’re there for you! You don’t really notice how they’re unnaturally obsessed with you, so you allow weird things to happen from time to time. Like how you let them pick you up and take you home everyday. How you take food or drinks from them, never questioning if they had anything in them, because they couldn’t possibly ever put anything in your food, right? They don’t really show their weird tendencies flat out, since they’re still in denial that they’re actually doing anything wrong. They simply liked you. That’s all. This was a simple crush they developed, nothing else. It wasn’t weird that the only thing they could think about at night was you. How you would take care of them, heal them, help them, feed them. How you were so nice and gentle when it came to them. How they would try to think of different ways to make you smile, because it was the only thing they were looking forward to in the day. Your smile was contagious to them, intoxicating even. To young boys like them, this was completely normal. The most in denial was Kakashi, but to be honest, he was the one who’d act out on his impulses. As stated before, Kakashi would be willing to lie just to get you on his side. If he didn’t like someone, he’d start telling you how bad of a friend that person was because “I heard them making fun of you”. Of all people you would expect to lie, you never thought Kakashi would be one of them. So, you believed Kakashi, and cut ties with a lot of kids because of him. This was a big victory for him, because now you would look for him even more. You invited him to eat, walk, and train. Sure, you would ask Kakashi if Obito would like to go too, but his answer was always “I don’t know, I think he’s out training again with one of his clan members. Let’s just go, just the two of us,” Apart from slowly becoming a pathological liar, he also made sure to go with you everywhere, whenever he could, of course. That includes when you’re not looking. You would complain about feeling watched sometimes, and he’d try to brush your concerns off by saying “Maybe you’re being paranoid. Maybe you’re used to Obito and I walking you home that it feels weird when you don’t,” 

✧ Speaking of acting on impulses, Obito had become a little self aware that his love for you was becoming dangerously weird. Despite Kakashi being in denial, Obito knew that it wasn’t normal to think about you as if he had to. He needed to know what you were doing as much as he needed to eat, sleep, and breathe. He even felt a little guilty, in contrast to Kakashi. He felt so guilty the first time he stole from you. It was a simple hair tie you always kept around your wrist even if you never wore it. You had used it as some sort of bracelet. As he got home and pulled it out of his pocket, his heart dropped to his stomach as his eyes scanned the tie. Shame ran through his body as blood rushed to his cheeks. He couldn’t believe it. He just stole from you! He was such a freak! He considered giving it back and apologizing, but he couldn’t do that! Then you would totally think he’s sick! So he decided to keep it. He promised himself he would never steal from you ever again. He doesn’t steal. He was a good kid! But, you never know where you might end up in life, and he found himself taking other things from you. Everytime he stole, he felt like a total thief, and he was. The guilt would consume him, but his desires were satisfied. So, he stole and stole and stole until stealing small things from you wasn’t enough. He was left unsatisfied, even if he had a drawer dedicated to placing all of the things he had stolen from you.

As Young Adults:

✧ Now the three of you were older, and had matured! Both Kakashi and Obito grew taller and bulkier, making them attractive young men. Meanwhile, you had also grown and developed in every way. Your personality, your face, your body. Everything changed in ways that satisfied them. To them, you were even more gorgeous than before, and they hoped you thought they were attractive as well. You see, despite them obviously crushing on you, nothing really happened throughout the years. You still considered them friends, and showed no sign of romantic interest in them, much to their dismay. However, that doesn’t mean they stopped obsessing over you. On the contrary, it only fueled their desires. Kakashi had grown an interest in very… detailed literature. The ones you wouldn’t really let children read. His desires developed and changed as he grew, and as he entered adulthood, he found himself thinking of perverted fantasies involving you. He didn’t mean to, but his mind couldn’t help wonder off on how your breast grew a little more, or how your hips became wider. He didn’t really feel guilty about it either. You were weaker than him, therefore, you needed his protection. The best part was that you never noticed him. He found it to be a win-win for all parties involved, that being you and him. 

✧ Kakashi wasn’t the only one with perverted fantasies, because Obito found himself waking up with a red face and sweat on his forehead while thinking back on the dream he just had about you. He’d be blushing the whole day while being with you, and when you’d ask him what was up, he’d brush it off saying it was just hot outside. What a big lie. Thanks to those dreams, he found himself sitting on the edge of his bed, hand clutching onto a piece of clothing he had slipped into his pocket the day you invited him and Kakashi to your house for your birthday. He felt disgusted at the fact he felt so aroused with you. That the simple faint scent of your perfume intoxicated him. The thought of owning your clothes without your consent drove him insane, much more than he already was. And the fact that he was holding the fabric close to his nose as his pants felt tight and uncomfortable had him questioning what he was doing. He asked himself why he acted this way, but made no effort into putting a stop to it as his hands fumbled with his belt to find peace from the heat and tension building up in his body. His thoughts would wonder what it would be like if it wasn’t your clothes he was holding, but it was you yourself. What would it feel like to have you sitting on his lap, holding onto his shoulders for dear life while you enjoyed how he made you feel? He had no idea how he could look at you in the eyes the next morning after a night full of dirty fantasies.

✧ Obito and Kakashi had also developed jealous tendencies that would annoy you at times. It was hard to deny that they liked you, at least a little more than just friends. And you didn’t mind it. God forbid Obito ever sees you flirt with a dude either. He was even worse than Kakashi. When you mention how they should stop treating you as their girlfriend, they simply told you you were taking things out of proportions and how “The guy had been with half the village girls already,” They could stop if you wanted, but they were just being good ‘friends’. They were guys and they knew what their intentions were. You needed to believe them, but if you didn’t, that’s fine. If you wouldn’t stop talking to the guy, then the guy would just need to stop talking to you. Kakashi would make sure of it. And when you did come crying to them, saying how the guy was just a total joke and that they were right, they wasted no time in being by your side, “See? You needed to trust us. We told you,”, “At this point, the only guys you need in your life are us,” Maybe they were right. 

✧ Kakashi was the one that took care of all your personal connections. He decided who you kept in your life, and who would need to leave immediately. Obito, on the other hand, took care of your emotional state. Whatever Kakashi did, it would leave you in shambles, and Obito would be there to pick up the pieces. He was well aware of what Kakashi was doing behind the scenes, I mean they both agreed on it. Obito wasn’t innocent, and you didn’t know that the two men you trusted with your whole life, were actually the ones ruining it. Speaking of ruining, you seemed to be stuck in the same rank rank ever since you became a chunin. Both Kakashi and Obito had ranked up and were currently Jonin, but you were still a chunin. You wondered why, because you were doing everything right. All your missions were completed and well executed, yet you still made no progress. You even asked the Hokage, your former teacher, why you hadn’t ranked up yet. “I’m sorry (Y/N), you're just not ready yet,” he’d tell you, making you storm off angrily out of his office. To you, your missions were perfectly executed, but the anonymous reports that would reach Minato were completely different to what actually happened. They would absolutely botch your hard work and explain how you made many rookie mistakes that belonged to a genin more than a chunin. Maybe you weren’t cut out for this. Maybe you were better working at the hospital than the field. This was highly supported by Kakashi and Obito as well “You’re one of the best medical nin I’ve seen! You should put your skills to work,” Obito would say, trying to motivate you to drop trying to complete missions outside. 

✧ Let it be known that if you ever choose one of them, no you won’t. If it’s one of them, it’s both of them. They agreed on this. They both had a ‘right’ to you, so you couldn’t just choose one of them and leave the other. They had always shared you as teenagers, there was no way that would change now. They were insufferable, and they weren’t even in a relationship with you, imagine what it would be like if you actually dated them. Time was running out, and their patience was running thin. They had waited so many years for you to make up your mind, they couldn’t wait more. The more they fantasized about you, the more they craved you. You would think that Kakashi telling you he loved you would make things easier, but it didn't. If anything, it made things worse. You lay on your side, nestled deeply nest to his chest, his arm draped over your shoulder. You looked up at him.

“Kakashi… I…”

“Oh.” You sighed deeply, staring up at the ceiling with him. “You said that you’ve imagined yourself saying things to me, things I have no idea about. If we’re being transparent… what is it you want to tell me?” You asked, resting a hand on his chest.

He was silent for a moment, pondering what to mention or what not to.

“I… I’ve seen some stuff.”

“Haven’t we all,” you smirked. He let out an amused exhale, running his thumb up and down your arm.

“Yes, but I’m still dealing with it all… I want to tell you but I don’t know how you’ll react.” His voice shook a little. You sat up to look at him, his arm falling from yours and dropping to the mattress softly. His eyes seemed watery and you quickly wiped away a tear before it could fall.

“I’m here… no matter what you tell me I won’t leave.” You cooed. His eyes shot up towards yours, shining with hope. “I won’t leave… I promise.” You say with a soft smile. He sits up, holding your hand to his face, then moving it down to his chest. You could feel how fast his heart was beating through his chest, worried whatever it was would be too much for you. Worried whatever it was was too much for him.

“When I was younger, I grew up with my father, who was also a shinobi. We have a very dangerous job, you and I. Saving people. My father had to save people himself, making their lives a priority as opposed to the mission he was sent out on. In doing so he returned home a hero, but also scum. The other shinobi couldn’t believe that he had abandoned his mission and chastised him, turning him into an empty husk of a man. I lost my father, he wasn’t there anymore.” He said softly. You ran your hand up to his neck, caressing him, hoping to soothe his pain.

“When I arrived home from school one afternoon I saw him laying on the ground. Dead. He had killed himself.” Kakashi looked away from you, tears beginning to fall.

“Kakashi…” You managed.

“No note or anything! No goodbye. Just gone. God, I hated him for that. How could he leave his own son!” he bawled, crying heavy tears.

You reached your hand around to the back of his head and held him close to your chest. You could feel his warm tears hit your breasts one after the other. He breathed heavily, occasionally drawing in a shaky breath just to let it go in a half-scream against your chest.

You pet his hair, raking your hands up and down his fluffy mass. You placed a kiss against the crown of his head and wrapped your other arm around his torso, holding him closer to you. When he finally stopped hyperventilating, he rest his head against your chest, holding your arm wrapped around him for comfort.

“I learned later that it doesn’t matter what the mission is, as long as you can save your friends you can never fail a mission. But when I realized this I did the unexpected. I had killed my very own friend. She just- I didn’t- oh god,” he broke down again.

His arms wrapped around your back, hands grabbing up to your shoulders and pulling himself deeper into you. He told you about Rin between breaths, about her unfortunate demise and how he had been the hand to deal her death. All you could do was listen and hold him. He rocked gently with you in his arms and his head against your chest. Thrashing when he spoke of Obito and the scar on his eye that came along with the boys sacrifice.

He told you about Minato, how he raised Kakashi when his father couldn’t. How great of a leader he was and how much he misses him. He couldn’t protect Rin, Obito, or Minato, he spoke of how much of a failure he felt like.

No matter how hard he shook, how loud his cries were, or how intense his hold on you was, you didn’t let go. You didn’t even say anything, you just let him get it out. And while watching the man you saw as big and strong crumble completely in your arms brought a few tears to your eyes, you didn’t leave him once.

A few minutes later, after his eyes ran dry and his head hurt from all the tears lost, he finally spoke.

“The funny thing is… that whenever I’m with you… that stuff doesn’t bother me.” It came out as almost a whisper.

“What do you mean?” You asked, hand stilling in his hair.

“I mean… that it’s never in my head. When I’m with you it’s like all that shit that happened before I met you didn’t happen at all. As if… it happened to someone else. Maybe it’s true.” He sat upright, arms holding you less desperately.

“I’ve changed so much since I’ve known you. I feel like a completely different person. Before I used to prefer being alone, now I can’t stand it. I cant stand it because every time I’m alone I’d rather be spending that time with you. On missions, in the shower… in my bed.” He added sheepishly. You smiled a little bit, blushing at his words.

“I feel like when you're not around my soul is screaming for you. And it’s so loud, sweet girl it doesn’t let me think of anything other than you. I love you… I love you, I love you, I love you. I love you so much I feel like I’ve loved you always, not just in this life but previous ones I can’t even remember. And in future lives where I’m sure we'll meet again.” Another tear fell out of his eye, this one you weren’t worried about.

“But then all the memories flood me like a collapsing dam. It’s all in a second. I’m scared you’ll get hurt and I can’t protect you because I’m not there. Or worse, I’m afraid I’ll hurt you. I’m afraid that no matter how hard I try to keep you safe, I’m scared that that demented twist of fate will take you from me anyways. I couldn’t live another second if you were stolen from my life.” Kakashi cried again, you wiped his tears before his mask could be wetted by them.

“I can take care of myself, Kakashi. I’m a shinobi after all. I know you haven’t seen me fight but I know how to defend myself and others. I wont die.” You tried to reason. It was to no avail.

“My love… I don’t believe you. I cant. Not after what I’ve seen… I cant lose you. To lose you would be losing myself.” He held you closer to him, his warm skin against yours as he lay you both back down on the bed.

“I love you. Don’t leave me. You promised.” He spoke softly in your ear.

“I did.”

The talk with Kakashi was too heavy on your mind. The next day it was all you could think about He had lost so much, you never thought about how life was for him before you two had met. You knew you’d be up all night thinking about it so you went out for a few drinks to put you to sleep.

When you arrived at the bar you scouted out the scene, a few couples, a group of friends or two, and of course some people on their own. You sat down at the bar and ordered a glass of bourbon. Sipping it occasionally between thoughts.

You felt a tap on your shoulder as a few ryō were placed on the counter next to you.

“I’ll have whatever she’s having. In fact, why don’t you get her another one?” A man with dark hair spoke from behind you. He smirked then sat down next to you, telling you his name. You quickly forgot it because of how intensely disinterested you were.

You polished off your drink as he spoke, quickly finishing the one he ordered. You thanked him for the drink, then told him you had to leave.

“Why? I barely talked to you,”

“I’m sorry sir I just… I didn’t plan on staying long and if I’m being honest I can really only handle one of these at a time. They filled my glass pretty high and I need to get home.” You explained. He glared at you.

“I buy you a drink and you take it and leave? Real classy.”

“I’m sorry, okay? I don’t feel so good so I’d appreciate it if you just let me leave.”

“Fuck you.” He spat. You narrowed your eyes at him.

“Have a nice night.” You turned around.

“Bitch…” he muttered under his breath as you left the bar.

You were lost in thought, almost drunkenly walking the streets back home, thinking about Kakashi. Your heart ached, wishing you could be with him without the terrified feeling of losing your job. You were sure people wouldn’t take you seriously if you were public about your relationship. They’d figure you slept your way to the top, not even taking your occupation seriously and all together stop visiting you.

You opened your apartment door and tossed your belongings on the nearby couch, turning on the light. You felt a heavy weight thrown against you, similarly to when Naruto had bumped into you. When you turned around is when you saw him. The man from the bar, slightly smelling of alcohol. You felt the color drain from your face.

“What the fuck is wrong with you!?” you yelled. He slammed the door behind him, walking up to you. You couldn’t believe how you let your guard down so easily.

“Listen… I payed good money for you. 350 ryō for a drink so I can get into your pussy isn’t a lot to ask for, but you just couldn’t deliver. 🌑​Madara is going to appear rather indifferent at first but his cold exterior is not a representation of what is currently happening in his mind. He's ashamed of himself and his lack of self-control which makes this mistake all the more aggravating for him. If he would have been still a child, this might have been excused but he is a grown man who is the head of his clan. As intimidating and occasionally tormenting as the Uchiha can be, he would never harm his beloved unless they have displeased or angered him so the lack of control over whatever has ultimately led to your pain is going to leave a sour taste on his tongue. His pride is a mountain hard to overcome though so initially he just tells you rather coldly that your injury isn't that bad, leaving you only moments later since he needs time for himself. He has medics catering to your pain though even if your wound is nothing serious, contracting his previous words as he still cares. Words have never been his strong point and partially he believes them to serve nothing anyways but he expresses his apology rather through physical gifts and gestures.

Tobirama Senju

🌊​Tobirama normally manages to keep up a harsh facade even under difficult circumstances yet few things are heavier than realising that he let his own emotions besting him and hurting you physically. Frustration and hot shame curl themselves around his body and for the first time he has no snarky comback or ruthless comment, only speechless with how low this obsession has brought him. He insists on catering to your pain himself even if there is no real need for it, a sliver of desperation visible in his eyes as he asks of you to let him take a look. After he has ensured your well-being, he silently storms out of the house to clear his own mind and to reflect on himself. His pride is rather big yet he is humble enough that this is his own fault and he has lost grasp of his own emotions. He returns back to you after a few hours and actually apologises to you, a sight so rare that it almost spooks you out initially. The guilt lingers for the next few days, the shame that he actually hurt his own spouse because he couldn't control himself a shame too big to simply shake off and forget about. It shall serve as a reminder to him to learn how to tame his obsession better.

Tsunade Senju

🐌​A woman who possesses the strength to shatter mountains has a heart that is perhaps even more fragile than porcelain. Tsunade has already lost the two people who meant the world to her and that trauma feeds her overprotective paranoia when it comes to you. She will take it pretty badly, that is after the initial shock wears down that has numbed her for a good few moments after it has happened. There are tears in her eyes as she looks at you and sees the pain on your face. Pain that she has inflicted on you. Tsunade feels sick to her very core even if there is no blood involved. She is a medic. She is supposed to heal people and help them with the pain yet she is the one who has caused yours. To alleviate the heavy anguish she feels after she has managed to pull through enough to heal your own pain with her abilities, she resorts to sake. She just drinks and drinks and drinks until she falls asleep but even in her drunken state that moment haunts her and with her emotions more vulnerable than ever, she starts crying even in her sleep. Her guilt only adds to her overbearing obsession though as it will never let her forget that she is the one who harmed you.

Kakashi Hatake

📖​If you have ever wondered what the raw obsession hidden beneath that lackluster attitude of his looks like, you get a peak of it when Kakashi hurts you. The moment he fully processes what has just happened, it is already too late and as he looks at your shocked face and the blood that escapes the mild injury, memories flash before his eyes and trigger something visceral out of him. He breaks out in cold sweat and feels the dreadful vice-grip of fear tackling his heart as his chest is heaving with an unknown weight. He feels frozen as if any slight movement from his body would shatter him as his eyes are glued to the injury and it is only because of your interference that he finally snaps out of his paralysed anxiety. For a few moments he just stares at you with wet eyes before he finally gains the ability to move and do something again. There is a slight tremor in his hands as he cleans and bandages your injury, watching the spot for a while as if fearing that blood will stain the material at any moment before he finally lets a burdened sigh out that lifts the weight on his chest at least partially. For the rest of the day he is dedicated to hugging you all of the time, although his touches are light.

Obito Uchiha

🔥​Obito handles it without a doubt the worst. The whole reason why he has taken it so far with his obsession was precisely because he wanted to protect you from any mental and physical pain this world would undoubtedly inflict upon you. Yet now the very world he has grown to despise so much has decided to torment him by letting him be the one who is the cause of your pain, as fleeting as it may be. Obito panicks most likely more than you do as even you reassure him that the injury isn't as bad as he may think. The only thing spinning around in his mind is the fact that he is the one who hurt you as he feels like the world he has been trying to change for years has now even stained him. His anger sparks a swirling inferno inside of him yet he has no one to vent out against as the culprit is he himself this time. He might turn for a good while deranged enough to offer that he will injure himself much worse as a warped way of repenting for what he has done for you unless you stop him. Otherwise he finds himself clinging to you much more as your presence seems to be the only thing containing his obsession from exploding which would lead him to do something really horrendous.

Shisui Uchiha

🍂​Whether you treat it as anything big or not, Shisui will see it as a severe slipup from his side. The Uchiha has always considered his obsession as something he would have to control strictly as he had always possessed the awareness of just how quickly his feelings could spiral into bottomless darkness. For those black feelings to not only make him lose his prized control for a moment but also to accidentally harm you is a deep-rooted disappointment solely pointed against himself that he will never forgive himself for. He keeps his facial expression neutral as he does what he can do to soothe your pain before he leaves, barely able to hold eye contact with you. That doesn't mean that he neglects keeping an eye on you as he just stalks you for the rest of the day, his gaze sharper as he tries to detect how much this incident has affected you. Shisui will apologise to you the next day though and take all the blame himself, silently bemoaning that he allowed his feelings to escalate that much. There is some distance he purposefully creates as he deems it to be necessary for him to work more on himself to never let something like this happen again, although he never stops keeping tabs on you.

No one can be prepared to lose a close friend, and neither Kaashi or Obito were ready to lose Rin. It had been a dark day for them, Obito had been crushed by a boulder, which Minaro thankfully got there in time to help him. Then Rin sacrificed herself to save them and herself from the wrath of the three tailed beast.

Since Obito was present for most of the situation, he understood that Kakashi never meant to hurt Rin. Their friendship grew stronger as they both grieved the loss of their teammate. Of course, they were shocked when Minato mentioned they’d be joined by a new member. They couldn’t believe it! The audacity of replacing Rin in such a short amount of time was unbelievable.

Your presence was, of course, unwelcomed. You were a replacement, nothing else. You could never replace Rin, so they didn’t bother with you. There was no point. It wasn’t your fault you’d been placed with them, but they couldn’t help but hold it against you.

Kakashi was monotone when it came to you. You could never tell what he was thinking, and that bothered you a lot. When you tried speaking to him, he’d only listen, but never answer. That was the part that scared you the most. He was simply uninterested in being with you. You could waste your time asking him something, but that didn’t mean he’d actually answer you. You’d simply be harshly ignored by him.

Obito was a whole different case. Kakashi, although straight out ignoring you, never blatantly showed you just how much he disliked you, but Obito? This boy was the definition of obvious. He was the most affected by Rin’s passing, in his mind. She was his everything. How could he replace her?

When I say he was mean, I mean it. He yelled at you, scolded you, berated you, and simply treated you outright badly. He was condescending when you failed and you couldn’t get him to like you no matter how hard you tried. He hated you. You believe that wholeheartedly.

Now, you understood everyone grieves differently, but this was too much. You felt unwanted and unwelcomed. Minato had reassured you several times that everything would be fine, and to just give them some time, but you felt horrible! The only person that treated you nicely was your sensei… it was you against them.

When you trained, you were surprised to see how well they worked together. The loss of Rin has managed to mend their friendship, even if she had died at Kakashi's hands. Obito understood that the reason Rin died was not because Kakashi wanted to kill her, but because she’d rather die than live as a weapon for the rest of her life. Obito forgave Kakashi, and they promised each other they would never hold anything against each other, for Rin. They moved at an amazing rhythm; in perfect sync. They knew where to be and what to do without uttering a single word.

Their teamwork was off the charts, and you were slightly jealous. Why? Oh you know, it’s not like they thought you were a burden or anything. Yeah, every time the three of you had to work together, it would always end up in an argument.

“Jeez, are you slow?! Can’t you see I’m supposed to come from the right?!”

“Get out of the way! You’re messing things up!”

These were just some of the few things Obito would throw at you whenever you messed up their momentum. You were never good enough for them. You were too slow yet too quick. Too dumb, yet too smart. If you had to jump and you’d jump, they’d somehow find a way to let you know that you jumped the ‘wrong way’. You could never be good enough. You could never win.

You tried, you really did, but nothing worked. You’d be blamed for everything, and they’d say you were ‘dragging them down.’ Of course, they would complain to Minato, mostly Obito, but Kakashi would nod his head in agreement from time to time. Minato would scold them or brush them off. “She’s your teammate, like it or not. You better start treating her as one or else you two will be the ones getting in trouble,” this made them resent you even more.

You got used to everything. It had been a few months since you first got there, so you knew how to handle them. You trained so much and watched them train that when you were in the field once again, you didn’t fall behind. You were predicting their moves to be able to move in sync with them. You had studied them—your obsession of being at the same level finally paying off.

You didn’t understand why, but you expected some sort of praise. For once, you hadn’t been insulted or made fun off. You did everything right; you had caught up to them. So, as the three of you huffed and tried to gain your breath, Minato congratulated you. You couldn’t help the big smile that played on your lips, excited that you had finally gotten some praise. However, the boys never muttered a word. For you, it was a win! They weren’t insulting you or angry at you!

Once Minato saw your progress, he decided it was time for the three of you to go out on a mission alone. You, of course, were nervous. You weren’t sure of how things would play out. Would you mess up again? Would you be left behind? Would the mission even be completed? You didn’t know, but you calmed yourself down and convinced yourself that everything would be fine.

Thankfully, you had completed the mission. You only had to go back to the village. Miraculously enough, the three of you hadn’t gotten into an argument, you had yet to mess up, and things were going just great.

However, all three of you found yourselves in trouble. Rogue ninjas were happy to see three hidden leaf kids, and they were planning on sending a message. They had recognized Kakashi as the strongest one, so they wasted no time in getting him first.

Although wearing a mask, the sudden mist that clouded him had knocked him unconscious. No, it wasn’t mist, it was some sort of pollen one of the ninjas had thrown at Kakashi.

Obito had no idea what to do, but you weren’t going to leave Kakashi. There was a big chance that you would get hit by the pollen as well, but your limbs moved on their own. Soon, you were running full speed towards Kakashi’s unconscious body, lifting his weight over your shoulder. You weren’t going to leave him behind, never. No matter how badly he treated you, you would never leave teammates behind.

As you lifted Kakashi, you hadn’t noticed the kunais coming at you at full speed. They would’ve hit you in the head if it weren’t for Obito. He took the hit for you, and it stabbed him in the shoulder. “Let’s go!” He yells, helping you carry Kakashi as you escape.

Once you were far away and clear of any danger, you set Kakashi down on the ground. You check his pulse and sigh, relieved that he was still alive. “He’s still breathing, he’s just unconscious,” you smile, looking at Obito.

Your eyes widen as you see two kunais on his shoulders, “crap! You’re hurt, Obito!” You stand up and walk towards him, “sit down, I’ll help you,” you pull him down, much to his distaste.

“I’m telling you, I’m fine!” He tries to convince you, but you shush him.

“Don’t be an idiot! You’re not fine. I’ll pull them out—it’ll hurt for a little while, but I promise I’ll make you feel better,” you say, pulling out the knives and apologizing as he hissed in pain.

While helping him, you were gentle. He had never expected this from you. He had been nothing but horrible to you, and yet you treated him as if he were fragile.

You place your hands over his wound and close your eyes, focusing your chakra and beginning to heal the open wounds. It felt… familiar to Obito. He felt taken care of—cared for. It reminded him of… Rin. He gulps and looks at you, your eyes gentle and caring.

He couldn’t help how he felt. His heart started beating quickly as he felt you so close. He had never noticed how cute you were—no, he never noticed how nice you were. How kind and beautiful. You reminded him so much of Rin. Could you have been sent by Rin? Were you an angel he had been neglecting this whole time?

“Obito?” You look at him worriedly, “are you okay? You look a little—“

“I’m okay. Thanks to you,” he smiles, rubbing his neck, “I uh… Just, thank you,”

You were taken aback by this, but quickly give him a gentle smile, “you’re welcome. It was the least I could do after you saved my life. You were basically my hero back there,”

His stomach fluttered at your words, “your hero..?” He chuckles, “no, you’re the hero… if it weren’t for you, Kakashi would’ve been attacked… you’re the real hero,”

You enjoyed his praises. After being treated so poorly by him, it was nice to finally see him smile and compliment you. When you finish healing him, you walk towards Kakashi, placing a hand on his forehead. You wanted to make sure he wasn’t getting a fever because of the polen, “We should get going, I want to make sure Kakashi gets treated quickly. Who knows what was in that polen. It must’ve been really thick if it penetrated his mask,” you frown, pushing his hair out of his face.

Obito agrees, taking kakashi over the shoulder and waiting for you, “Hey uh… (Y/N),” he says, locking eyes with you before looking away, “I’m… sorry, for the way I’ve treated you… I real—,”

“It’s okay, Obito. As long as you don’t keep doing it, I forgive you,” you’d didn’t have hatred in your heart, and you knew how to forgive… Oh gosh, you were so much like her. Obito nods, shamefully smiling, “I promise you, I’ll never be dumb again. Well, dumb enough to treat you like I did…,”

Once you got to the village, you took Kakashi to the infirmary. You waited outside for any news with Obito, and you were relieved when the nurses told you he’d be okay. You didn’t get the chance to see him in the hospital, since you already had to go home. You needed rest, and with a little convincing from Obito, he walked you home.

After that day, Obito was so much nicer. He was a completely different person around you. He treated you so nicely, and never insulted you in any way. He complimented you in everything you did and he even offered to train with you more often.

Even kakashi seemed different. He’d actually speak to you, and nicely. He’d look for conversations and would often stay close to you. Their attitudes had taken a complete 180! You were… happy. You were glad that you finally got along. You were working together, and you were never failing. They made sure to make you feel like a part of their team!

Yeah, you were so distracted by how nice they were treating you, that you didn’t notice how they’d keep an eye on you at all times. How they would often want to take you home. How they would hurt themselves just to get you to take care of them. No, you were too busy basking on their kindness.
