To the fanfic writers who talk about a character who is touch starved, it feels unrealistic for them to go from never allowing touch to being obsessed with it. Make it slow, draw it out. It’s not just about affection is about trust as well, and that comes slowly. Start with light touches, lingering stares, hands on shoulders and backs that make them go tense and then relax. Take your time with it, and you’ll find that the reward for when they do crave that touch all the more rewarding.

Writers who write for trans (Female to Male) listen up.

Stop making reader using unhealthy binding methods, you might not think anything of it but it normalizes that shit. If you are going to make the reader go through that put safer methods or links to cheaper binder options.

Binding with bandages or tape is not ok and if done enough will ruin your chances at getting surgery if you want it.

If you can’t afford a binder layering sports bras is also effective, use only three and put the middle one on backwards. If that doesn’t seem to work try pushing your chest closer to your armpits, moving them over like that can make your chest appear flatter, Wearing bigger shirts, hoodies or thicker fabrics like cotton on top of the sports bras can also make your chest look flatter.

Please remember that other people’s opinions of you are bullshit. If someone doesn’t truly love you there opinion shouldn’t mean shit to you.

It doesn’t matter who you are if you think you are a boy and you feel like a boy you are a boy. If people put you down because your “unconventional” don’t let them get you down those kind of people are stupid and don’t have anything better to do than rag on some innocent guy.

You are your own person. You don’t need validation to be who you are.

if you're fem aligned/a cis woman, etc etc. please let queer men/masc people have their own things.

if you are purposely reading x male reader fics its a bit fetishy, plus there are thousands and I mean thousands of fem readers. for once queer men are getting good fics and some people have the nerve to ask for fem versions of the fic or accuse the writers of misogyny.

if you cannot accept the fact that queer men/masc-aligned people do not want fem-aligned readers to interact you have to get over yourself. it's so frustrating to see people get annoyed over simple things.

they're not misogynistic, they simply want to make content for a certain group of people - if you aren't a part of that group why should you read it? plus, plenty of accounts on tumblr, wattpad, ao3, etc produce x fem readers. it's hard to even find good x male readers and having fem-aligned get butthurt over it is tiring - hell a lot of fandoms are filled with FEM readers.

i could talk for hours about everything i love about this show, but honestly i can’t stop thinking about the way ED is in love with STEDE?? like let me explain what i can’t get over, it’s the way that stede is the softer, more feminine, ‘weaker’, more stereotypically queer coded one and it would’ve been so EASY for them to make it stede who had an obvious crush on ed. like play it up that he’s a fool in love and everyone sees it except ed but they wrote it the opposite way!!! ed meets stede and it’s love at first sight!! this scary, masculine pirate captain falls so hard and so fast for stede fucking bonnet and stede has no clue!!!!! ed knows he has a crush the whole show and he just embraces it!!!!!! fuck i just love this show so much and i love that ed loves stede it’s literally the best possible thing they could’ve written

this is huge. don’t get me wrong, both shows are amazing and I know it’s not a competition, but the fact a show with queer romance as its main storyline, that hardly got any promo from HBO Max, managed to top a big Disney/Marvel show proved people want actual LGBTQ representations that couldn’t be edited out or completely dismissed by skipping 6 seconds forward.

I’m facing homelessness, disability, and micro aggressions about me being trans all day today so when I go on to the internet for a little relaxation and me time and am met with insults and attitude over harmless puns and jokes just because they think it’s funny, it makes me want to blow my fucking top. I hate them hate them. People who are rude as a joke, when it’s not even funny or towards people they know, need to go out and socialize because I promise if you had said that shit to me in person I would have punched you in the face.
