Getting nonhuman euphoria from a new blanket I got. It’s green and fuzzy so it feels like I’m sleeping on moss lol

I get nonhuman euphoria from some pretty odd things because I’m not allowed to have gear. One of the few ways I can experience my alterhumanity is through vocals and very subtle things like clothes. Hopefully one day I’ll be more free and can make my own gear!

Got a bunch of masks for my birthday, and idk really what to do with them. Like, I wanna make a wolf one, but after that I’m not really sure.

for anyone like me who's confused about some of the terminology with the piercings

non-bulleted are smiley info

bulleted are reverse angel bite info

there are also images of what the piercings look like (an inside view!!) so just a warning for that!!

the smiley goes through a thin spot in front of your gums between you upper lip (if you try to feel for it with your tongue, you'll find it)

the reverse angel bites go completely through the upper lip, the exit point is through the upper lip

the smiley is predisposed to resting entirely against the teeth and gums, as the entire piercing is on the inside of the mouth

the bars of the reverse angel bite are inside of the lip, shielding the teeh from and damage

due to the smiley being in your mouth and against your teeth all the time, it can get in the way of drinking, but can also make it difficult to use cutlery and chew food

reverse angel bites are inside the lip, so it doesn't get in the way of drinking or eating food, the only thing you'd have to worry about it accidentally knocking the end point around lmao

sorry if i've got any info wrong, or if this was an unneeded addition! i don't look at body mod stuff very often, so some of the thinga confused me until i looked them up!

PSA to any nonhumans/otherkin/voidpunks who want a fang piercing to affirm themselves!!!

Do NOT do this:

This is a “smiley” piercing (a horseshoe bar through the frenulum); fang bars are NOT proper jewelry to wear in them! Their size and shape can increase the risk of gum recession and tooth chipping (and are at a higher risk of being torn out by mistake!), plus they’re difficult to live with when it comes to eating, drinking, and sleeping.

Do this instead:

These are vertical angel bites (AKA “angel fangs”), using a standard curved barbell with a spike on the bottom. They don’t extend into the oral cavity at all, which means your teeth won’t be damaged and there’s a lesser risk of injury. This piercing is also easier to live with so you can keep your fangs full-time (as long as the spikes you use aren’t TOO long, I’d recommend 3 to 4 mm).

Pls remember to affirm yourselves safely (especially with body modification), and only wear jewelry that’s meant to safely go in your piercing! 💕
