even though seulgi had always been the one to take the fall, it feels strange to yeji to be the one carrying her out of the fire — not quite literally, but it may as well be with the sweat she’s breaking. seulgi isn’t heavy by any means but yeji certainly isn’t strong either, so though she’s trying, her ‘piggyback’ is more of a drag, seulgi’s good foot helping them hobble along. it also doesn’t help that yeji, though significantly younger, towers over her sister ( not that she’d complain any other time; it makes her feel like she has a little power and control over what is otherwise a terrifying situation she’s somehow still not ready to face completely head on ).
