so i made a potpourri with cinnamon and nutmeg and ginger and cloves and orange peel and anise and i have boiled it all day and it smelled so nice i took a sip and the sip was actually wonderful so now i have drunk four cups of potpourri juice and i am only now going to the internet to ask if i am going to Experience The Torments. or if i may have a fifth.

(i cannot quite explain it, but it’s like my entire low i have had a low grade stomachache, and normally i just deal but This Juice helps a little. i am unreasonably fond of it.)

How do you feel about the original idea of William accidentally killing Damien instead of us?

I think the angst would’ve broken most of us in quarters, probably TWT Seeing art of this AU makes my heart clench for my poor boys (well it already does)

AHAHAHA PAIN! THAT'S HOW IT MAKES ME FEEL. But okay I put some thought into it for these drawings so if you're interested in how I think it would go down, I put it all in the screenshot below (alt text available)!!

So yeah!! I like this AU a lot!! There are some aspects I like better than what we ended up with-- William going insane for a life long friend rather than someone he met a day ago (even though I love that we made such an impression on him ;)), it could add a lot to Damien & Will's dynamic. I also like the seance idea I came up with! It'd be nice to give us some agency! And to try and save Damien too 👀 Also I think this version of Dark I came up with is so cool (👉🏻👈🏻) even though the effect would be like,, impossible irl

But there's way more that I think works better about the canon ending-- Celine's reckless pursuit of knowledge getting Damien killed is super fitting, especially since he seems to be the only loved one she has left, it helps explain how angry she is with Actor and the House (maybe that's why Dark is so unstable? I'm getting off track lol--) she's a righteous protector of someone who's already dead yk, whose death she caused. Also! In the canon version, we get to die! pretty fkn sick imo lol

My nana’s house was super haunted when I was growing up, and I pretty much refused to go in the basement when we visited because I would cry about the shadow people. Obviously, no one believed me. Here’s the ironic part: EVERYONE ON HER SIDE OF THE FAMILY HAS THE ABILITY TO SEE AND/OR FEEL GHOSTS. My mom thought I was lying to fit in. The house was just so fucking haunted that it was hard to feel their presence. Then my mom actually spent some time in the basement and went, “nope, kids right, basements fucking haunted.”

So yeah, my family tried gaslighting me into thinking I was normal.

That was the same house where I refused to sleep in the guest room unless our German Shepherd was on the bed with me because a pair of red eyes would watch me sleep and there were no fucking blinds.

as a kid i had one of those “there’s a monster under my bed” moments except real.

every night i would cry about a ghost or something trying to scare me by knocking on my bedroom windows and walls. like, really loudly, every hour or so, every night. only at night. so my dad was like “heh okay kiddo let’s check it out :) ah see? there’s nothing here :)” and left.

until years later he admitted to me that he did in fact hear the unexplainable knocking when he slept in that room one night, and it kept him awake with fear. and suddenly felt awful for not believing little kid me.

I can't even explain myself. Why did I draw a human version of Kenna before her in-canon version? Because I have no self-control.

Anyways. I was playing No Children, thought too hard about human!Conductor and his ex-wife, and ended up with this. Whoops? Nah, not really. I just really like that song with these two, and I can't figure out how to design owls worth a darn. So I drew them in an au instead.
