[Updated] HK Miscellaneous Items Ref

I decided to make this its own post rather than tacking it on in a reblog. If you’ve seen my previous Hollow Knight Reference post, then you’ll know I had a ref for miscellaneous items, charms, abilities, etc.

While working on that ref I was frequently having to move around and resize the sprites to keep everything organized. If you’ve ever used Procreate you know that repeatedly resizing things causes them to lose quality and get blurry. So, I’ve now gone back and updated all the images so that they’re higher res. I also moved some stuff around and added a few new images/sprites. There’s a more detailed changelog w/side-by-side comparisons below the cut

Changelog:

Doubled the size of the canvas from 5”x3.3” to 10”x6.6”

Added: Left and right half of Kingsoul charm, alt Kingsbrand sprite, Salubra’s blessing icon, essence sprite, 6 more old/cut charms, cut items from Sly’s shop, (speculated) preview of ability granted by the “White Crystal Ring” item, flying lifeblood seed, and labels for cut-content

Rearranged/swapped around the placement of the tradable-items/currency, keys, mask/soul UI icons, misc rewards, and quest items

Rearranged the cut-content items and made their designated box bigger

Added this image and a version of it without the cut-content labels to the google drive folder

Gallagher Ref???

I couldn't find any Gallagher references online so I ended up having to open up Honkai:Star Rail and taking screenshots of him over and over again. I mean- I'm not complaining but it still took a hot minute. Anyway- just so others don't have to struggle like I did, here is what I got of him.

Red Hammer Haed's Elves

Hello there! Finally, the Elves' sheet of my AU is here! As you can see, there are some differences between Tolkien's Elves in the canon and this version. First of all, there are some differences in the growing age. For the story, I need the elves to grow up like humans, with some differences: mental growth is faster than humans, but at 20, it became slower until it became along with other races. The Elves are stronger, faster, and stealthier and have sharper senses than humans, but less than the canon version. In the end, you can see the physical differences between lineages. They are not absolute (for example Nerdanel is a redhead but she is a Noldor), and the flags of Dialetes ARE NOT the nation the lineage comes from, the map is the same as the first age, I just indicate the dialects. I know those languages are different in several ways, but like we have in Italy I guarantee you the people who live in Venice and people who live in Palermo seem like they speak almost two different languages, so it's not so strange the Noldors can talk like a German or like Irish and they don't understand each other. (yes for Teleri I was inspired by my country, in particular the south side :3). Tell me what you think about this AU.

A collection of reference images for those who want to draw Revali!

public service announcement to anyone drawing the Cheshire Cat from AM’s Alice games, which I am making because I have been drawing this guy constantly for like three days bcuz my brain is broken and only after scrounging up whatever random images I could possibly find in the depths of google did I realize that cat has the Venus and Mars symbols on the backs of his ears. You can’t always see them and they’re not always even there in official art of him but they’re on his amr model and some other official art. Below is a pic of his model, part of a poster illustrated by concept artist Norman Felchle at a convention some years ago, concept art that was done by Terry Smith (both Felchle and Smith did concept art for the Alice series), and a tarot card illustration I believe was made for Asylum but im unsure by whom (in that order!) It bothered me that I missed that they were there even tho they’re not a huge detail (and also weren’t there in the original, lol) but either way I figured I’d share (and anyone who already knew can go “yeah, duh”)
