Keith Boykin calls out Snoop Dogg and other sunken-place sellouts who are rapping for Trump.
Transcript:
“Well, I had a disagreement with Snoop, I think, a year or two ago, or something. He endorsed Rick Caruso. He was supporting Rick Caruso for mayor of Los Angeles, who I disagree with, and I stated that publicly as well. But, you know, I think that a lot of these rappers are not the intellectuals in the community, as Ture was pointing out, but it's also a dishonor to the Black community.
I mean, if you look at Donald Trump, the man who would refuse to rent to Black people in the 1970s, who tried to lead a lynch mob against five Black and Brown kids in the 1980s for the Central Park case, who refused to allow Black casino workers to have a prominent place in his casinos in Atlantic city in the 1990s, who spent five and a half years lying about Barack Obama's birth certificate in the 2000s, who came into office and then attacked Black people like Colin Kaepernick, who attacked Ruby Freeman and her daughter Shay Moss for simply doing their jobs in Fulton county election workers.
You dishonor those people when you go and perform for this man, this man who has done nothing but dishonor Black people.
And just even last year, just last year, he was calling Haitian immigrants, accusing them of eating cats and dogs.
This is not somebody that Black people should be associated with and pretending to normalize.
We should be challenging him.
And it dishonors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose birthday we honor on Monday to celebrate this man.”

Ben Blanchet at HuffPost:
Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) attacked Kamala Harris’ womanhood while she declined to condemn Donald Trump’s racist attacks toward the vice president in a chaotic appearance on a CNN panel that went off the rails Thursday. Mace repeatedly mispronounced Harris’ name and declared that she would say her name “anyway that I want to” before Michael Eric Dyson, a professor in African American studies at Vanderbilt University, described her remarks as “disgusting.” “You know what, you know what’s disgusting to women is her disrespect of women,” Mace said. “She doesn’t know what a woman is. And 25 years ago—” “White women don’t have the ability to tell Black women who paid the price of blood to make this country what it is to tell them they’re not real women,” Dyson said. Mace’s ridiculous claim arrived after Dyson said the congresswoman’s “anyway that I want to” remarks stemmed from “the history and legacy of white disregard for the humanity of Black people.” “Oh, so now you’re calling me racist?” Mace said. “I didn’t say—” Dyson replied before the two sparred on the CNN panel. Mace doubled down on her mispronunciation of Harris’ name. Sociolinguistics professor Nicole Holliday told HuffPost last month that right-wingers are botching the vice president’s name “on purpose,” noting that it could be taken as a way to show that “you’re not really for her” politically.
[...] Democratic strategist Keith Boykin then pressed Mace to “just say yes” before saying that she was in a “cult” with her leader being the former president. “The fact that you talk to women this way is ridiculous,” Mace said. “You just talked about a Black woman that way,” replied Boykin as Phillip attempted to wrap up the program. “In what way? She doesn’t know what a woman is,” said Mace as she doubled down on her insult.
Rep. Nancy Mace (R) made a giant fool of herself on national TV earlier this week.

Say what you will about Kristi Noem, she acknowledged killing that dog.
Nicey Macist is the type who just keeps driving after running it over, then tells the cops she saw a black guy in a hoodie who did it.

And so it begins.
Tumblr media
July 29, 2024
With her presidential campaign barely a week old, the scurrilous attacks on presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris by convicted criminal Donald Trump and his compliant MAGA minions have already begun. However, Republicans are struggling mightily to find something damaging enough to register with voters. Take a look at some of the absurd accusations that have already been leveled against her.
• The DEI denouncement. Referring to diversity, equity and inclusion, worthless Tennessee congressman Tim Burchett told CNN, “One hundred percent she is a DEI hire.” Which is MAGAspeak for "She's black and a woman and, therefore, automatically unqualified." But, as Democratic strategist Keith Boykin has pointed out, "The truth is for most of American history, white men were the only people who were ever considered." So it didn’t matter whether they were pig ignorant and dangerously incompetent (see: Trump, Donald).
• The cackling claim. Harris is clearly a happy, warm-hearted person who likes to laugh. And although he will occasionally smirk when he's cruelly insulting someone, Trump sees laughing as a sign of weakness. Here he is at his recent Michigan rally: “I call her laughing Kamala. You ever watch her laugh? She’s crazy. You can tell a lot by a laugh. She’s crazy. She’s nuts.” You can also tell a lot about a person who never laughs.
• The childlessness charge. GOP veep nominee J.D. Hamel (alias Vance) has criticized Harris for not having any children, even though she helped raise her husband's two teenagers from a previous marriage (they call her "Momala"). Know what other president didn't have any biological kids of his own, but was a father to two stepchildren? Our first one.
• The immigration indictment. At least seven speakers at the Republican National Convention, including failed presidential candidate Nikki Haley, Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton and Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, assailed Harris as being Biden’s "border czar." Then, last week, Trump told reporters that "Countless Americans have been killed by migrant crime because of her willful demolition of American borders and laws.” Of course, Border Czar is just a title Republicans made up — she was never put in charge of stopping border crossings. And in the real world, such entries are now at their lowest point since Biden’s first full month in office.
As political commentator Maria Cardon said last week on CNN, Trump is having something of a “mental meltdown…because he doesn’t know how to run against someone like Kamala Harris.” Maybe so, but don't expect the insults, invective and name-calling to end anytime soon.
