Also he BECAME kaz brekker like he wasn't even kaz bekker in the beginning he was kaz (can't remember last name) he can say that pekka did this to him (ok he can say that in parshall because in taking all their money so they were on the streets and that was probably how jordie got fire pox) but kaz made kaz brekker and in doing so became him. Like kaz doesn't even think about killing people he just does it and moves on. Like for example in the beginning of CK he kills a dude to get the information for smeets office and we only know this because of wylan, kaz doesn't even think about it THE ENTIRE BOOK like it didn't matter that much to him it was nothing. Also destroying an entire religions most important monument nothing to him. And at some point it isn't even about pekka anymore like the ice court how do you dig at pekka with that.

He is also still a good person

He specifically keeps the perem away from nina and jasper. He won't let them sacrifice there lives for his hist/revenge. He gives inej a ship even though he knows that it will purposely take her away from him.

I could go on for hours about kaz brekker but in conclusion I love him and he is complex and amazing

It's really twisted isn't it? The idea that Kaz spent so much of his life gathering a gang, making it powerful, getting it huge resources, and making his presence known throughout the whole city of Ketterdam, and possibly even beyond that point, and all for a vengeance that... didn't even matter. Jordie died, but because of the plague, a fate he couldn't avoid regardless of whether he and his brother got conned or not. Pekka didn't do anything to them outside of the con. But Kaz didn't know better, and he was a child, so he zeros all his rage on Pekka. He breaks through every barrier and obstacle their could possibly be in his path, and he reaches that point when he has Pekka on his knees. But in the end, the trade he made with Pekka didn't concern money or power. All Kaz wanted... was for him to remember his brother's name. Kaz, a seventeen-year-old boy who is almost grown up, demanded to Pekka that he wanted his dead brother back. All he wants is his brother. All that matters is his brother. And Kaz just wants him back. All this time, it was nothing but a childish and overly emotional longing that Kaz drowned himself in over and over again. The one thing he held onto like a nine-year-old kid to his toy wind-up dog.

But Pekka couldn't remember. He begged on his knees, but he couldn't remember. He couldn't give Kaz the one thing he wanted.

And Kaz lets him go.

So technically, he doesn't win. Jordie's name was long forgotten, and he was still dead.

That being said, I also want to add another obsession of mine to this blog bc I’ve been utterly consumed with throughts about The Empyrean series (Fourth Wing) and you know? I feel the crows would probably like some of them characters. Kaz would probably think Violet is respectable.

So… i hope you like that.

This character is inspired by KAZ BEKKER from Shadow and Bone! He is the leader of what would be considered the regency day mafia, with some of the same qualities as Kaz. He even has a pet goat! 

We have a few Shadow and Bone inspired characters (including Matthias and Nina), and wanted ads for other S&B face claims/characters (including Inej, etc)!
