I'd like to remind y'all of this. This is something I think of daily because Inej is basically saying that she doesn't want to find another person to fall in love with and have a future with. She only wants Kaz as he is the only one who will understand her and accept her for everything that she is. The good parts and the ugly.

Tbh, I'm pretty sure the minute Inej saw Kaz's hand for the first time she was like, "Get your shit together and fix yourself, honey, I wanna have your babies."

In my heart, it's always Kaz for Inej and Inej for Kaz. Nobody else is perfect enough for them.

i understand the criticism of it feeling off that inej's boat is named the wraith after inej rejected the name but think about it like this... her identity as the wraith and her relationship with kaz (he's the one who named the ship) were the vessel that allowed her to sail toward freedom and personhood again, so she could become a person again and Inej Ghafa

It's always so interesting that there wasn't a scene in the books when Kaz and Inej "Began to fall in love." Like, they just were in love before the first pages of the book. Who knows how long they've been in love? For Nina and Matthias, you could argue that the moment when they "fell in love" was the moment when Matthias betrays Jarl Brum and his country for Nina. For Jesper and Wylan, you could argue that the moment when they "fell in love" was somewhere during the ship ride at the end of soc. But Kaz and Inej already had established, and not to mention, rather strong and intense romantic feelings for each other. And those feelings only grew more and more as the book continued.
