So for those who don’t know, all of the game masters during arisu’s time arrived only days after eachother and all met very quickly- almost becoming a group like we see with our protagonists.

Mira met Kuzuryu (the king of diamonds) , and then they came to encounter Shirabi (the king of spades) who was on his fourth day, On kyumas 2nd day he left his band in the morning to go for a run and this is when he bumped into Shirabi, who was exercising to the radio.

Not too long after mira approaches shirabi for the first time, as he was burying someone. She asks why he was burying someone he didn't even know, and he tells her that humans don't want to die atop some asphalt, that it breaks the cycle of life. This fascinates mira who tells him that she'll plant some seeds on top of the graves, and water them everyday until they grow. Eventually, they all start sprouting flower buds.

Every morning they all met up at the same place to do radio calisthenics and to talk. Mira and Kuzuryu played a game of chess once while getting to know each other better. One of my favourite quotes is “she is seen proudly showing off the massive fish she caught to Kyūma.”

It is said on the 87th day of sojourn for the king of spades is when they all had their final game and were given the option to stay or leave the borderlands, this means they spent 87 mornings together and more😭 can you imagine the regular morning meet the day after kyuma died, him simply not turning up after all that time and the group knowing it was because he lost his game and was gone.

When they finally only had one game card left to beat, kyuma suggested a celebration in which they completed it together for the first time. Their first and only group game together was their last before they all chose to stay in the borderlands and became game masters of the cards they beat. This meant their last game was a game of clubs.

and like i don’t fucking care, mira and kyuma were BESTIES i tell you!!! she finds the beauty in human nature and would’ve loved kyumas outlook on life and his little quirks. My favourite platonic rare pair right there!!!

Arisu knows one thing, the moment you start to give him the silent treatment its because he fucked up BAD.

But how does he reacts? He goes into a crisis mode where he checks dates, gifts, events, family days to see if he forgot something.

He ends getting sad and down because you are his safe space and wants you to talk to him again.

So he ends making a big dinner (orders take out because he does not know how to prepare a proper meal), buys you flowers and waits for you to get back from work.

When you return he has the most dorky smile and makes you take a seat in the living room, puts your favorite movie and gets the food.

Once the movie ends he will hug you and ask you what he did wrong and apologies for it but will tell you to be more Open with him.

♡ Chishiya

This Man is PRIDEFULL and does not understand emotions. So when you give him the silent treatment Chishiya will ask you to stop being a kid and just talk to him. However the more you refuse the more he gets bored of this and will end not talking to you.

This goes for about 2 weeks. But its not like a tense week. More like a silent week. Both of you are tired of Daily life and your personalities sometimes hit eachother.

Eventually you will start talking to Chishiya again, telling him directly why you were angry at him.

"You could have done this from the start. But I know I may come as insinsitive and cold most of the times so I dont blame you"

Wont apologies but will compensate you with some cuddles.

♡ Tatta

This Man will cry at work and make conspirancy theories about the reason of why he is getting the silent treatment.

He will go and aks your Friends if they know something, he has a good relationship with them!!

Once he discovers the reason (and it does not matter if its important or not) he will go and buy you chocolates/snacks, a plush and will write a love note to you.

Why? because he truly feels bad.

(Even if its was because he ate the last chocolate, he FEELS BAD).

He is used to you not talking to him a lot.

He kindapped you, of course you give him the silent treatment lots of times. In fact Banda is used to you screaming at him instead of holding a normal conversation.

The moment you give him the silent treatment Karube knows its because:

And Karube its used to it and does feel bad. He would give you space and then suprise you with dinner and cuddles. He would tell you how you are the only one he loves (and fucks,you two are like rabbits). Will end the night taking you to bed fucking you hard till you cry his name.

This big softie its actually scared of you when you give him the silent treatment. He is LOST wondering what he did but knows not to ask you because that would make things WORSE.

Will end asking his friend "Hatter" for advice (bad idea) "did you not fuck her right?"

arisu is so boyfriend material haha, he's always sooo impressed with you.

he knew you had a decent amount of intelligence based off of the test scores you showed him from university, but the first time you were fully able to show it off was during a game

it was a diamonds game, which wasn't exactly his strong suit (literally)

arisu is actually pretty smart himself, but he couldn't keep up with you during the game. your mind was working so fast and figuring things out at lightning speed

the group managed to finish the game with barely any casualties thanks to your quick mind and brilliant strategies. naturally, arisu had to bring it up in conversation

this boy showers you in compliments! he's so so sweet

he's your biggest fan, always bragging about you and rambling on about how amazing it was that you were able to do something so quick

you're the first person he'll come to if he needs anything at all.

he truly does trust your intuition more than his own. if you have a bad feeling about something, he makes sure to look at it through your viewpoint to try and understand what he's missing

more often than not, your warnings come in handy and he dodges a bullet. when he doesn't listen, he tends to notice things usually go bad

arisu also has smarts, so when the two of you start talking about whatever, those specific talks can go on for hours and hours

you both bring up new perspectives and different opinions and it's just so great

he's really really thoughtful and it makes the two of you super compatible :)

before he dropped out of university, you two were definitely study partners.

sometimes he would get a little too reliant on your knowledge and found himself basically dumping his entire homework load onto you

you never really noticed though, and you managed to help him solve the problems with such ease that it didn't really feel like homework at all

when you're not around them, karube and chota will definitely hype you up to arisu though

on the other side though, sometimes the two of you clash.

arisu undeniably thinks with his heart most of the time. especially outside of games

you tend to stick with your brains and rely on them to get you through tough situations. this can lead to some tough arguments

you think of things logically and he comes at it emotionally, so sometimes it's hard to see eye-to-eye

you both love each other a lot though, so you always figure something out at the end of the day

you trust in your head so you tend to be stubborn and need time to yourself, but he will always rely on his feelings for you to get through these types of things

oh boy, i don't even know where to start with him? let's just say... things can get intense

chishiya is highly intelligent. you are also highly intelligent. this is where you both struggle

you can pick his brain a little too good for his liking and sometimes it bothers him. he can't really get anything past you, and the same goes the other way around

he can tend to get manipulative when things go south, and you match his energy

things that work on anybody else don't work on you, and it kind of freaks him out lol

he likes to be in control of everything around him, which includes the feelings of other people. you don't give him the chance to do this

this leads to a lot of passive aggressiveness and tension

but the tension is honestly the best part of your relationship

there is so much teasing and banter between the two of you

you both play the high-stakes game of 'who can get a smart remark past the other one first' and it makes things really fun

affection can get really exciting between the two of you because of this. after a day full of teasing it's quite interesting to see who breaks first in terms of relationship things

honestly? most of the time it's you, but when you decide to get stubborn and hold out, chishiya gets a little touchy and you find it cute

when you both have a common goal you make a great team

it's very true that two heads are greater than one

when one person makes the plan, the other will go over it and quickly catch any mistakes or holes that are missing

anything that you both work on together is almost unsettlingly perfect

while your smarts can sometimes lead to incompatibility, there are certain things that the two of you understand about each other that no one else does

you both can have really great conversations with each other. you don't have to hold back any of your thoughts because you know chishiya will always understand them, and it's great

you and him look at things objectively all the time, so emotions don't tend to get in the way of things you place higher priority over

both of you need your alone time, so codependency is never an issue

finally, you understand chishiya like nobody else does. you know how his brain works and you know how he views things. the best part about it? you send him no judgement

chishiya doesn't think of you as a chore because he's aware that you're probably the smartest person in a room full of people. he doesn't have to take care of you which is bliss for him

you guys have a lot of inside jokes as well, things so deeply exclusive to only you two that nobody dares to understand

you're a very intimidating couple

it's kind of difficult to make couple friends due to this intimidation factor, so double dates are off the table

karube is such a showoff LMAO

as a bartender, he comes across a lot of aggressive drunk dudes that aren't afraid to diss him and the things he holds dear to him. his family, his friends, and you as well

as childish as it is, his favorite thing to hit them with is "i bet my s/o is smarter than yours"

he just absolutely loves to use you as bragging rights and it's great

he's constantly learning from you and is extremely interested in anything you say

karube didn't graduate high school. he will absolutely eat up any fact you tell him and loves to learn things from you

he thinks the way that you talk is so captivating and will continuously ask you to repeat yourself just so he can hear you speak

he shares the facts you told him with arisu and chota and feels so smart

when they ask him where he learned that, he will proudly tell them that he got it from you

he doesn't feel inferior to you at all lol, he absolutely worships you

at first you were a bit hesitant to accept how much praise he would give you, but you eased up to it

Arisu:

Sort of like a lost puppy; he's jealous but doesn't know what to do about it. Will usually sit by you as if trying to remind you that he is there and the two of you are in a relationship. If he feels like your pursuer doesn't understand, then he will hesitantly explain to them that you two are together but pretty much hopes that you'll tell them off for flirting with you. Definitely asks Karube for some advice on how to deal with jealousy.

Karube:

The hot kind of jealous; he has that jaw-clenching thing down. Karube finds himself being green-eyed frequently. You're with him, and he thinks everyone should respect that but pair that with his trait of being protective, he gets jealous quite a lot. Definitely wouldn't admit to it, but plus side, he looks sexy as he fumes in the corner with his arms crossed over his chest, watching you; well, that's until he begins stalking over to you. Good luck to anyone who tries anything flirty with you.

Usagi:

Doesn't realize she's jealous at first, she gets really annoyed when people flirt with you, but it takes her a while to understand. She'll fight for you, not physically, unless they try to hurt her, then she will protect herself and you. She's the type to stay close by and scoff at your admirer's words, her eyes roll every few minutes, and you can literally hear her teeth grinding, but she gives you a wide smile and thumbs up when you catch her mid-annoyance.

Chishiya:

Honestly, Chishiya's jealousy varies. While he is completely laid back, on the other hand, when it comes to you, he isn't willing to leave things to chance. He believes he is the best choice for you and knows you'd never leave him, but he doesn't like seeing people try their luck. Straight-faced, but no one sees his clenched fists inside his jacket pockets. His sass is 10/10 if he catches your admirer alone; he doesn't want you to see him jealous. Hates when Niragi flirts with you to try and get a reaction out of him.

Kuina:

When Kuina gets jealous, she gets stuck between 'fight and insecure.' While she wants to go and roundhouse kick anyone threatening her relationship with you. She does, unfortunately, feel some sort of insecurity. She wonders if you'll fall for their jokes or looks, but then she remembers you're with her, and then her fight comes back. The type to physically defend you when needed.

Niragi:

He refuses to believe that he gets jealous. He is simply overprotective. You're his, so he's obviously just being protective of you as he glares at anyone daring enough to look in your general direction or brave enough to talk to you. Niragi is the type to take his annoyance out on you because you should have done something to stop that person from flirting with you. In his mind, you're asking for attention if you don't immediately rebuff other's advances.

Ann:

Her jealousy comes out in her emotions, her disgust for people shows clearly on her face. Treats anyone like they're a germ if she catches them flirting with you. She's not the type to get in a physical fight over it, but her sass could kill anyway. If you ask what's wrong, she'll just ignore the question and kiss you in front of the 'perpetrator' side-eyeing them during it.

Mira:

Sits silently like a pouty child, but on the inside, she's plotting murder. Mira's jealousy could be seen as the calm before the storm type. If you question her jealousy, she gives a small giggle and laughs it off, but inside, her wrath is building. She is not the type to take her jealousy out on you, but god help whoever she thinks is trying to take you from her.

❥ at first it was fun, just you and your best friends with you and not needing to worry about anything at all.

❥ until it wasent.

❥ now it wasent pretty much everything was done together. it was absolutely everything was done together.

❥ but it still wasent until the hearts game that you guys didnt anything officially romantic together.

❥ you had gotten split up from everyone else during another game, earning you to miss the hearts game.

❥ when you went back to the apartment the five of you were staying in you expected to see everyone. chota, karube, arisu, shibuki. everyone. 

❥ instead, you were met with no one. 

❥ panic hit you right away thinking the worst of the worst. ‘they couldve just been getting food right?’

❥ quickly whipping towards the door, you didnt know if you were safe or as you heard the door to the apartment open hurriedly. 

❥ luckily you were.

❥ “oh my god arisu! where were you? wh- wheres everyone else-”

you were cut off from arisu walking towards you, pulling your face to his. his pull was harsh, though you knew he didnt mean it. the feel of his hands on the side of you cheeks were the opposite though. gentle, caring, loving, but.... they were..slightly shaking? before you pulled away, you felt a tear touch your cheek.

“why are you shaking? please tell me something..” you said to him looking in his eyes, trying to find anything other then the tears and almost numbness.

“theyre gone. y/n everyone is gone. but your not, oh thank god your not.” arisu cries. he puts his hands back on your cheeks but he doesnt kiss you this time. his eye just keeps darting all over you almost as if he was questioning if you were really there. “please- please will you be my partner?” he quickly asks breathing heavily.

“what?”

“loosing the others made me realize how much i actually love you i cant loose you i didnt and if i do i cant have you die not knowing how i feel about you” 

“yeah- yeah! yeah ill be your partner” you conform as you drag him over to the couch in the middle of the room. when you guys lay down you end up spooning, him being the little. your arms get rapped in with arisu’s and he tightly grips both of your hands in his, burying his face between his chest and your arms. you press light kisses to his neck and into his hair as he slowly starts to get his breathing down. 

you werent going to make him talk about anything. you figured if he wanted to he would. right now the two of you were fine like this. you tried to imagine what arisu went through, what happend, what happend to karube? he was your best friend. if you couldnt thank him for that you wouldve liked to at least thank him for getting you and arisu to where you are now. 

you eventually get snapped out of your thoughts as you hear soft, even, quiet breathing. arisu had fallen asleep. in your arms. you sniffed slightly thinking about how karube would be making fun of you guys right now and the amount of sex jokes he would try.

you kiss arisu’s head again whispering a ‘i love you too’ into his hair before drifted off to sleep yourself.

— karube would definitely be very affectionate with you and wouldn't care if it's in public or in private. when you are out he would always keep an arm around your waist or shoulder to keep you close to him. also, i feel that he loves it when you sit on his lap. and in private is almost the same but he literally can´t take his lips off of yours, always stealing kisses or giving you sweet pecks from tim to time. i think his love language is quality time, always finding a way to make any situation romantic and a pleasant memory, coming up with random plans and just taking you anywhere you like whenever he can.

— SO SUPPORTIVE. if you ever have a problem he will always be there to help you or comfort you, reassuring you it´s not the end. also, no one gets to mess with you or else they will have to deal with karube. you would be his VIP guest at the bar and sometimes he wouldn't make you pay (even if you insist on doing so). also, prepare yourself for dirty jokes and embarrassing comments in public he makes just to annoy you. you both definitely met at the bar because you came often or something like that, with time starting to talk more often until you became friends.

— YESS. i think karube really enjow having you close to him, you sitting on his lap as he gently carreses your waist and leaves sweet kisses on your neck, having you laying on his chest as he plays with your hair, spooning you or wathever means he gets to be close to you in some way. also he would like to face you while cuddling so he can admire when you´re asleep and probably to wake you up peppering kisses all over your face because you bring up his soft side.

— karube would love the idea of ​​moving in with you, and i think it would be a topic that came up very early in their relationship. i feel that he likes to make plans for the future and he talks about them constantly, until one day he mentioned what he would imagine living with you would be like, and if you agree you would see the biggest smile on his face. on the other hand, i think it would be a little lazy to clean up but would have no problem cooking if you don't like it or something, but he would probably cook simple dishes though. and to clean, he would prefer that you do it between the two of tyou hem than doing it by himself.

— OMG YESSS. he literally always dreamed about the perfect life: marrying, living on a big house, having kids. i think he would probably had mentioned that even before you two started dating, daydreaming about it all the time. he probably plans in his head everything and can´t help but get that lovesick smile on his face everytime he imagines you living with him, or in your wedding. whatever he imagines for his future, you will always be there and it would be impossible for him to imagine it without your presence. i also think it wouldn´t get too much time for him to realise how much he loves you and that he really wants to marry you.

— i think he's quite gentle physically, always treating you like you're made of glass. soft touches, delicate kisses and always careful not to hurt yourself during any activity. on the other hand, sometimes i feel like he wouldn't think much about the things he says and sometimes he would inadvertently hurt you but immediately apologize once he realizes it.

— totally. i think he would adore back hugs. when you,re cooking, cleaning, or just standing there. he hugs you whenever he can and you can't help but smile when you feel the slight pressure with which he hugs you, hiding his head in the crook of your neck, leaving his perfume impregnated in your clothes, taking advantage of the proximity to sigh something sweet in your ear, leaving kisses that go from your neck to your shoulder. plus something tells me that his hugs convey an incredible sense of security and you can never get enough of them.

— i think karube thinks it's a word with a lot of meaning behind it, and it would take him a while to think about the right moment to say it. but i feel like it would be after your first night together, that he'd wake up before you and just admire you before softly whispering the words in your ear, silently wishing you'd heard them even though you're not awake. — he´s not too jealous, but sometimes there are a few things he deeply dislikes. for example, when you´re at the bar and some random person shamelessly comes up to you and starts filtring right in front of him like?? but he wouldn´t be really agressive, he would just glare at them until they get the hint. if the person doesn´t, he would just tell him right away you´re his partner and wait till they leave.

— they´re passionate, sweet. the kind of kiss you never get enough off, leaving you chasing his lips once they apart, smirking at you and then kissing you once again with the same intensity. loves to pull you closer to him by the waist with one hand, cupping your face with the other as he intoxicates you with new, intresting sensations. he loves to kiss you on your neck, liking the way you squirm under his touch. also, he adores how short you are compared to him so he can tease you, thats how he found out how much he likes when you kiss his neck or jawline.

— i think he normally returns late from work, and sometimes you´re awake and sometimes not. when you´re awake and you´re both tired he would just lie on your chest and fall asleep immediately, feeling the calm that your presence produces. and if you're awake and no one wants to sleep, you would just watch a movie or stay talking until you both fell asleep. and, again, if your still not living together, he would simply call you to let you know that he arrived at his house and you would stay talking until both got tired.

— i think he would have no problem to talk to you about things on his past, but he would need to totally trust you to do it.

— karube isn´t really patience with things around him and probably gets frustrated easily with things that doesn´t come out like he wants them or he just randomly gets angry at random stuff. however, he´s actually way more patience with you and will never raise his voice at you even when you do something that annoys him. and if he accidentally did it would apologise right away.

— medium probably. i think he has a lot of things on his mind all the time so he would probably forget about things, but he def remebers things that are really important to you. like, if its a minium detail that you mentioned once he would forget it right away. but if you talk about it a few times, or if he know is actually important to you he would randomly think about it, and if you ask him anything about would remember it pretty clearly.

— i think when you finally decided to move together. the feeling of starting a project as big as that with someone he´s so in love with makes him feel butterflies everytime he remembers it. the moment you told him, the way you both joked around as you unpacked, when you two started to discuss the decoration. he totally talked about it to chota and arisu for MONTHS, even tough they literally begged him to stop and he just kept going to happy to saving it to himself literally rambling about the WHOLE process not caring that it´s probably the most normal thing and he already said it like a thousand times.

— your personal body guard, literally always watching after you. he literally wouldn´t doubt to put himslef in danger if it means he gets to protect you. no one dares to mess with you because he jumps at them right away if he sees you uncomfortable. and lets not even talk about the borderlands. he would hate playing a game without you not knowing if you're safe or not. and if you are playing the same game, he always have you close to him in case something happens and he is always in front of you just to be sure and to be able to protect you if somethings comes up, and believe me, he would give his life for you if necessary.

— he would put A LOT of effort, always trying to make them go as planned. always tries to make the best atmosphere possible and would curse himself if something goes wrong at the last moment. and he would be even more concerned if the important date is an anniversary or something, literally having every second of it already planned in his mind. his gifts would mostly be fancy things or wathever he thinks you might like.

— he would sometimes return drunk after meeting with his friend and would sometimes forget to tell you and you end up worrying almost everytime.

— he´s actually really concerned about it. i mean, he knows you love him and everything, but he tries to look the best he can after meeting you. putting too much effort on his outfit and even planning them a lot before he puts them on, a lot of perfume, and things like that. anyway, hes not insecure or something, he´s very confident but he actually need to put some effort on his looks before goingt out.

— totally. as i said before, karube is the type of person who thinks a lot about his future with the person he loves, and i think that if for some reason you left his life, he would feel completely empty and it would be very difficult for him to try to exclude you from those plans that he had wanted so much to fulfill with you. he would totally show all this emotions and pain in anger, and would distance himself until he feels a little better again but would be way more snappy than before and will take a long time for him to actually recover.

— i think i've said it a few times before, but i feel like Karube would empty perfume bottles so often because he's literally addicted to them. he loves any man perfume he can get and would adore if you ever gift him one (because i swear he put a lot all the time and finishes them really quickly)

— maybe someone who is extremely jealous?? he likes feeling that his partner cares for him but, he also likes having his own space and not being overly annoyed like, if someone texting him multiples times to know where he is, with who or shit like that he would really get tired of that. also he doesn´t like the lack of trust, he wants communication and someone who trust his love for them.

Arisu: Tatta

He didn't even know the two of you were friends at first; neither of you spoke to each other in public. It was only when Tatta had been threatened by one of Aguni's men, and you stood up for him, did he realize, well, that and Tatta bounding through your room door with a puppy-like grin on his face, excited to tell you something. Arisu realized that your hidden friendship was to protect each other from players wanting to prey on your bond. After everything that happened with his friends, he could really respect that decision.

Karube: Everyone

You were a popular one; he could see that. If it wasn't evident from you practically knowing people in almost every game you played, then having people cheer out your name as you walked him and Arisu through the beach to meet Hatter definitely showed him. It made him jealous sometimes because he wanted to spend alone time with you and not have strangers try and get in between you for some of your attention.

Usagi: Aguni

She didn't really know how to feel about your friendship with Aguni, especially after their first initial meeting. However, after seeing you seek comfort from him after a challenging game, she quickly saw the father-child bond the two of you had made. It wasn't something that either of you showed off publicly, which made her feel special for having witnessed it.

Chishiya: Niragi

He couldn't understand it. Why would someone like you be friends with someone who takes extraordinary happiness in terrorizing people? What Chishiya didn't know was you knew Niragi before the borderlands and saw everything he went through. You promised him that you'd never leave him, and you intended to keep that promise. Chishiya may not understand your loyalty, but he loved being able to push Niragi's buttons through you.

Kuina: Ann

Kuina was a social butterfly even though she mostly kept to herself and Chishiya, but after getting to know you, she loved having another person she could trust. Then she realized that you were best friends with Ann and the only thing that she could feel was excitement. She'd seen the elusive woman around the beach and wanted to befriend her but couldn't. Now she had you and a best friend who weirdly cut up bodies in her spare time, but Kuina would change any of that. You, Kuina, Chishiya, and Ann were an odd group, but nobody would dare mess with any of you.

Niragi: Last Boss

He was annoyed that you needed to be talking to anyone but him, but honestly, if you needed to have friends, he would have picked either Last Boss or Aguni for you. Not that it had anything to do with those two already being close to him, although he still gets jealous when you spend more time than he thinks is necessary with LB. He wants all of your time and attention. 10/10 likely to pout in private.

Ann: Chishiya

A mutual need to understand other people's emotions brought you and Chishiya together as friends, and honestly, Ann loved seeing the two of you people-watching. The sassy comments and pure confusion on your faces seeing others sacrifice themselves for the people they loved was entertaining. She may not initially trust Chishiya to be loyal to you, but she didn't interfere in your friendship.

Mira: Hatter

It was she who pushed you to become such close friends with the leader of the beach; through you, she was able to hide herself in plain sight. Not only that, but she could watch him slowly become unhinged. It was a psychologist's dream. She was very transparent about herself with you, and because of that trust, you went ahead and befriended Hatter for her. You won't be telling her about how funny and entertaining you find the man, though Mira doesn't do sharing.
