sometimes I get reminded that drop is a thing and that we're ridiculously prone to it to the point that just having a better day than normal gives us that "post-concert depression" feeling and wow I hate that this happens
#personal#thoughts#🍬 post#vent post#today went better than expected and we actually felt pretty good for most of the day#like we felt way better than I thought we would both because the appointment went so well#and because of a bunch of other stuff we did later like an impromptu in-system karaoke night that was really fun#and so now we get to experience drop and I kind of realised that would happen but good god#we're also just really worn out and it's probably nearly time to get ready for bed#and I'm feeling the physical effects of going outside so we've just kind of got a combination of stuff that's making us feel worse#at least I know it's mostly just that we're fatigued and in pain and have drop and not like... something being deeply wrong#(I mean something is wrong if we're fatigued and in pain but it's just the usual shit that's kind of always wrong afjhkglk)

Things I did today #24 february 23 2024
Making voice updates ( 3 months on testosterone)
Filming for 3 months hrt vlog
Meeting up with my contact person
Buying groceries
Watched PJO Behind the scenes on Disney plus
Curling up under a blanket going into survival mode for a few hours
Going to karaoke event
#to explain the survival mode#when meeting with my contact person at this occupational program I am in we visited a voluntary meet up house#and being there was too much for me#my system went into flight fight freeze faun#where I ended up being mentally stuck and crying#and that took so much energy out of me that I didn't want to be perceived#I just wanted to go home and not do anything#so doing that I found a blanket and some disney plus and watched some pjo behind the scenes and pixar shorts#then youtube videos#before cooking dinner and going on my merry way to celebrate 3 months at karaoke event#I was also very close to went on social media yesterday#I didn't and I feel almost proud about it#so yeah here's the summary#daily life#tidt#things i did today#findingmicah

I will karaoke 5 minute Queen bangers AND YOU CANNOT STOP ME. He-squatch like long Meatloaf romps, too.
I try not to think about the tiktokification of music that much. I will say I'm a die hard Kim Petras fan and he's a Sam Smith fanboy, but neither of us liked the TRAGICALLY short Unholy. I'm just glad Kim got that statue and some GD attention at last.
Stop! Releasing 2 minute songs!! Idc about TikTok!!! If it's a banger it needs to be at least 3:30.
