charles does a lot of bisexual stuff but i wanna bring us back to his faggiest moment. this is something that would be 100% beyond a 16-year-old boy's reach if he was straight.
and it's him and monty being quietly catty and passive aggressive towards each other.
no one says A SINGLE WORD about it out loud. but it's all there. everyone knows monty and charles don't like each other, but NEVER does charles say so, or say he doesn't want him around, or that he's annoying. he doesn't bully, he doesn't mock, he doesn't fight for air time.
he just politely smiles and doubles down on monty's bluff when monty pays him an insincere compliment. in front of the boy they're fighting over.
