I wanted to draw today but had little motivation, so I decided to try and finish something I've meant to do for ages; Shura is such a central character, but I didn't have up-to-date bio until now. I just reused some of the stuff I'd already made of him, with fixing some details about it. I took inspo from Helias' design as Helias is like their first prototype/Firstborn sibling.

(I decided to leave his battle form beefy looking instead of his squishy dad-bod, mainly to further empathize the point of how different he is in that form)

Name: Shura Kano

Nicknames: Dummy Shura (Youko) Dear, Darling (Shika) Shuu (Jurou)

Age: He has existed for around the same time as his bestie Jurou (roughly 150 years) and is also considered to be middle-aged (I.E human equivalent of 30-40)

Height: 186 cm

Friends: Childhood friend Jurou Blackthorne, pretty much every other person he meets lol, he has giant golden retriever energy

Family: Fiancee Shika, niece Youko, baby brother-in-law Yago, Sister-in-law Uma. Mother/Creator Spectra, The Elder Sibling Helias. Honorary member Chouma

A Seemingly goofy himbo working as a beloved teacher for young children, as well as a Guardianship Caretaker on stand-by for any newly manifested moth spirits.

VIGOUR SPIRIT LORE

Shura's kin are creations of Ether's Guardian Deity Spectra, who initially created them to help her make the world thrive and guide its citizens. Shura's type specifically was created shortly after the Ancient War around 6000 years ago, so his type are relatively new.

There are 5 types of Vigour spirits, representing five different aspects of life according to Spectra: Heart, Spirit, Mind, Will, strength

MUSES: The original type of Vigour Spirit, represent "Spirit" as the original guides of life on Ether. Nowadays you only see Muses on Spectra's moon, looking after their younger siblings and newborns. (At this point Spectra doesn't have to create them consciously, the moon itself manifests them)

BATTLE SPIRITS: The youngest type representing Strength, they were created after the Ancient War by Spectra, their purpose is to prevent another massive threats and battles from rising on Ether. They are also often considered her army. (Shura is this type)

(I'll add the other 3 types later once I have a clearer idea of them)

Powers:

Basic Vigour Spirit abilities: being cosmic light spirits, all of his kind can perform lot of basic light magic spells, such as healing, exorcism or just create flashy lightshows and illusions. They all can fly.

Moon connection: They all can travel to their Moon anytime they want, and tend to become stronger when their home moon is closest to the planet, which happens once a month.

Battle Spirit power: As a special Strength type spirit, Shura has a battle form which essentially allows him to utilize light in offensive form, such as burning/melting heat, lasers, etc. He can also form his light into powerful blades that can burn pretty much anything. His kind are also far more durable than any other light spirit. They are the only spirit type with dragonic wings as well, and these wings can protect them from all sorts of attacks.

Multilingualism: Vigours can adapt and essentially assimilate any language their hear, meaning Shura needs only a couple of minutes of listening to locals talk before he can speak whatever the language is fluently. (Each spirit does end up with an accent still, and it is somewhat random what it sounds like to humans. In Shura's case it is an Aussie accent, strongest when he speaks English naturally)

Weaknesses:

Shura can be gullible and often falls for silly scams and nonsense, he's had his wallet stolen more than thrice in tourist traps.

Personality:

Shura is an easy-going, generous and kind person that tends to light up any room he goes into (sometimes literally). While he might come off like a goofy himbo, Shura is far smarter than he let's on, and tends to exaggerate his airheadedness as to not intimidate people so much; being a Battle Spirit, many tend to be a bit cautious of them, even if they are seen as forces of good.

he is very sappy and romantic with his beloved, the type to sing cheesy serenades under her window (mainly because it makes her laugh) and he is also excellent with kids due to his patience and high level of emotional intelligence.

FUN FACTS

Shura's kin don't actually have to eat food, they just do it as a social activity. They don't poop either as a result, given any food they eat just gets burned into oblivion inside their bodies.

Some of his kin choose to still keep their more spirit appearance even when living on Ether, Shura chooses to utilize a full human form, because its easier whenever he visits earth (typically as a guest for his best friend Jurou's father)

His kind are the only type with dragon wings, Spectra gave them those because they remind her of the first scary creatures from earth that appeared on her planet, the dragon's ancestors. (Aka Dinosaurs lol)

He made friends with Jurou due to noticing the emo goth Soul Eater kid was lonely, and also empathizing with the way people were afraid of him just because of what he was. While not as severe, Shura has had to deal with something similar.

Shura is very over-the-top dramatic with his mannerism usually, so when he gets serious and acts "normal" you KNOW shit is serious.

Shura is pansexual, which is pretty much the default setting for his kind. (They're either Pan or Ace.)

Youko tends to be rude and mean towards him, because she's afraid of growing attached to her uncle, after having lost her dad dramatically. Shura is aware of this fear and is patient with her, more so than many others outside her family. who find her bratty and annoying to deal with....

Shura and Shika were the caretakers for the Moth Spirit Chouma when he manifested. Shura had actually done this before meeting Shika as well, as it is a common duty taken by his kin, to look after newly manifested moth spirits.

Guardianship Caretakers are people who have agreed to foster/help guide any new moth-spirits manifested in their world from the 3 Life Trees at the start of their new life. (These spirits aren't always children, so it is not the same as fostering/adoption, although that can also happen) Shura specifically has agreed for any green Willow tree manifests, as those cases tend to be more traumatized and need someone with good level of patience and empathy. His current Guardianship is a moth spirit called Chouma.

Chouma doesn't live with them anymore, but he is still in regular contact with Shura and Shika, and typically for any incidents, injuries and health problems, they are informed and listed as his next-of-kin.

When Shura speaks, he tends to have a strong Australian accent, making humans assume he is Australian that just married a Japanese woman and chose to take her surname instead for whatever reason.

Shura's kin can naturally adapt to speaking just about any language, but they always tend to have some sort of accent that human brain translates into whatever they believe it sounds like.

When asked from Spectra why he sounds like this specifically, she tends to just go "uwu funni" (if she is serious or not is hard to tell...)

While Shika's brother Yago is still known as Yago Kano, her sister Uma (and niece Youko) have her late husband's surname Tanaka.

Sypnosis: MC and the whole Mekakushi Dan enjoyed the summer on the beach, where the mischievous 3rd member decided to tease MC.

"It's hot" You placed an arm above your head as you looked at the sun, sweat kept appearing on your whole face. "Is it?" An orange-haired female sat beside you on the bench, she looked at you in ecstatic. "Yes, it's too much" You replied as you gulped some saliva. "Then, how about we go to the beach?" Momo inquired, happiness filled in her tone. "Sounds good, Momo" You smiled at her as you removed your arm from above your face. "Let's go inform the others then!" She let out a giggle as she stood up from her seat, grabbed your hand then took a run toward your home. You giggled alongside her.

After preparing some needed stuff for the beach, you, Momo, and Shintaro made your way outside the house. Everyone agreed on having fun at the beach since the season is perfect for this. Summer, though it's hot, everyone still enjoys the season. "Hurry up, oniichan!" Momo called on her brother as she opened the door. "Yeah, yeah" He grumbled as he walked towards the entrance with his hand rubbing the back of his head, expression probably annoyed. "Here they are" Once Momo opened the door, the whole Mekakushi Dan, and Ayano, were in front of the house. "Hi!" Ayano greeted as she flashed each of you a smile, hands behind her back. "Let's get going," Kido told them with her hands inside her pocket. "Yes!" You nodded at her then happily exited the house.

The whole Dan, with you and Ayano in addition, were walking towards a local beach resort nearby the city. While on the journey, you would probably notice that Kido and Kano fight more often. With Kano teasing and pissing Kido off, which will be beaten up later. Seto and Mary are having a normal talk. Ene, in her human form, and Momo starts to annoy Shintaro. Ayano trying to calm the short-tempered Shintaro. While Konoha and Hibiya don't seem to care much. You also heard Hibiya keep murmuring about 'this is such a drag' and 'they are so immature'. You just chuckled at your friends' unusual behavior, you were also impressed that they all get along together, but not that much.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" Momo and Ene said in awe simultaneously. "It sure is" Ayano seconded. The wind passed by your group as your hair flew away with the wind. "Come on, [Name]-chan. Let's go!" A certain blonde grabbed your wrist and then pulled you towards the beach. "W-w-wait a minute! Kano!" You yelled at him, face flushed because he was holding you. He just looked back at you and flashed you a grin, you can't help but smile back. The others followed the two of you as they settled the things at a nearby hut. They quickly changed into swimwear but still at the hut. "Kano, I'm still not in swimwear" You crossed your arms and then gave him a glare. "Oh come on [Name]-chan. Join me in the water" The male waved at you. He was in the water already, while you were watching him from afar. You are still in your [f/c] t-shirt and black denim, and you don't want to wet your clothes, especially your shoes. "I'll go change, and you Mr. Deceive, you come with me," You told him then went to the hut. "Okay~" He said in a sing-song tune then obeyed your orders.

Momo, Ene, and Ayano are in two pieces, while Marry and Kido are in swimsuits. They don't like to show much skin, and that's why Kano is teasing them when you and him go back to the hut to get your swimwear. Hibiya, Seto, Shintaro and Konoha are already in their swim shorts. Ayano successfully convinced the stubborn Shintaro to change. Now, only you and the cheerful #3 of the Dan are left who is still not in swimwear. "[Name]-chan~ What kind of bikini you've got?" Kano crept behind you while you were searching for your swimwear. "G-g-ghie! Don't do that again, Kano!" You scolded him when you suddenly felt a shiver run down your spine after Kano's statement, your face turned blue for a while as your shoulders started tingling. You were currently holding a [f/c] two-piece. "Oh~? So [Name]-chan isn't shy enough to show much skin?" He placed his index finger and thumb on his chin, examining the two pieces in your hands. "Unlike Marry and Kido" He laughed, but then he was kicked on his left rib. You looked at him and he was already lying on the floor, hands on his injured rib while his face showed agony. You felt like laughing but suppressed it, you looked to your right and saw an angry Kido. Her eyes are burning with fire. "U-uh..." You sweat-dropped.

After you change, you exit the shower room then see that they are already playing in the water. Speaking of water, when you exited the shower room a moment later, a bucket of water fell straight on your head, wetting your whole body in the process. "Iya~ A perfect way to wet you first before you go swimming~" You heard the prankster's voice filled with mischief. You were already shaking in anger, clenching the empty bucket on your head, you threw it at Kano. "Oops! That was close" He grinned when he evaded the incoming bucket and then went away, running. "Get back here you brat!" You yelled in anger, trying to chase the mischievous cat-boy. "Hahaha! I'm older than you, as you can see!" He laughed then went to the water. You gritted your teeth and then followed him there.

The two of you were chasing on the beach, splashing each other water and laughing. "Gotcha!" You tackled the blonde boy on the shallow water, your arms around his waist. "Hahaha!" Kano laughed and then looked at you. You sat on his stomach then gathered some sand in your hand, you smirked at him. "Revenge time~" You cheered then covered his face with sand. After your fun, in which you filled his whole face with sand, he stood up with made you fall on your rear. He wiped away the sand on his face and then looked at you. He grinned at you and you smiled cheekily at him. "Do you like summer, [Name]-chan?" He asked you then helped you stand up. "Yes. Especially when I'm with my friends" You replied then wiped some sand that was left on his cheeks. "Especially when I'm with you~" You took a peck on his lips which caught him off guard. "Let's join the others, shall we?" You offered your hand to him. "Sure" He grabbed your hand and then ran to where the others were. Special summer love on the beach.

Yandere!Venti thinks it’s cute, seeing the way you interact with the little kids around town. Diona and Klee adore you, loving that you always bring them snacks and treat them with such kindness. It especially warms his heart because he knows how absent their real parents are so he doesn’t mind letting you out of the house more often for their sake. He also won’t deny the absolute baby fever it gives him, the sudden urge to have children of your own taking over his mind entirely. 

Venti couldn’t help the smile on his face as he watched you play around with the two girls. They had insisted you help them with their hair, them having messed it up after playing tag in the city. He couldn’t deny the sudden urge to have a child of your own, a sweet little thing that was the perfect mix of the two of you. Archons couldn’t have children with humans though, so for now he was content to watch you interact with the local Mondstat kids, dreaming of the day you could have your own.

Yandere!Zhongli would find you parenting Xiao and QiQi to be quite humorous. He had spent many years trying to parent the angsty boy himself and yet you made much faster progress in a month. QiQi could also be quite the challenge and yet you had the patience of an Archon themself with her. A true gift to him and both the kids.

Zhongli watched as you scolded Xiao for getting hurt again, leaving QiQi to find him and bring him back to BuBu Pharmacy. It was quite funny to see the boy get so flustered, hands fiddling with his polearm. Zhongli had gotten on the boy's case many times about this and he never seemed to take it to heart, but you had a different effect on the male. Even QiQi seemed to naturally trust your judgment despite her forgetful nature. It warmed Zhongli’s heart to see you getting along so well with the two, loving her naturally you seemed to fall into the parental role. 

Yandere!Raiden doesn’t see any use in children, after everything with Kunikuzushi she simply has no desire to be in the parental role. She also believes it to be unnecessary for you as the two of you will never have children together. Despite this she will still allow you to interact with the local children, namely Sayu.

Raiden sighed as she saw you playing with the young girl in the courtyard, a lighthearted game of tag being played amongst the two of you. Sayu often came here to hide out from Kano Nana, enjoying the sunlight naps that you two would take or the fun, simple games you’d play. Tag was her favorite but she was also fond of hide and seek as well as eye spy. While Raiden would never outright tell you that she disapproved, she’d never join you either, making it known her opinion from across the way. Her subtle glare and cold shoulder all the proof you need. 

Yandere!Furina doesn’t like kids, she thinks that she should be the only one to get your undivided attention and that she’s plenty fun and entertaining. Why do you want to hang out with kids when she's already baby?

An annoyed huff left Furina’s as you continued to interact with the Melusines. You two were supposed to be out on a date together, not hanging out with the Melusines. It was Neuvillette’s job to look after them, not yours! You should be paying attention to her, giving her your love and time and focusing on what she has to say. She’s certainly going to throw a fit if it continues, and even more so if you just try to brush it off. You are Furina’s partner and you should be giving her all your love.

it would out in the forest(he made sure there was no fungi or anything to disturb u)

he would show you some really pretty flowers or mushrooms if you wanted(tho he wont make it similar to a lecture, only a little)

he maybe spaced out while looking at you, not his fault your so pretty, but gave a(n) (almost) shy apology after.

definitely picked flowers with you so you could have a fresh bouquet with the prettiest flowers you could find(he made sure none of them were deadly, or bad for you to be around)

you were given permission to pet his ears for a little after he caugt you looking at them for a little too long

^^he also let you cuddle his tail if you were cold(but he wont look at you since he doesn't want you to see how red he is)

overall a pretty good first date, if he could say so himself

The pale blonde male blushed slightly at the girl's compliment, but he smiled brightly at her and pretend that it was nothing.

"I love your eyes better. Those [e/c] hues that are glittering when the sun shone down on them."

"You're lying again..." the girl childishly mumbled, pouting a bit.

Kano laughed, throwing his body back, both hands on the edge of the bench, supporting him. His eyes were closed as he started to tear up because of laughing. Truth to be told, you are the only one who can tell that Kano is lying or not. You personally don't know how you did it, but whenever you heard his statement, you can tell right away whether he's lying or not.

"You know, Shuuya-kun..."

"Yes, [Name]-chan?" Kano stopped laughing, wiping away his tears as he gave you his full attention.

"I love your eyes the way it is now..."

Kano tilted his head in confusion but stayed quiet, knowing that you aren't finished yet.
