why do I have to see Murray’s balding ass???? according to the duffers and stranger things writing process, he’s served his purpose—should’ve been gone after S3 if not S2 so why do I have to see him over and over again? why did this fucker get a call so he can keep pointing out the obvious?

they’ll keep the raging z*onist but not Kali (Eleven’s sister character who was meant to just be edgy but brought so much depth to herself AND El, 008, test subject with fucking powers that would be beneficial in taking down Vecna) or Argyle (literal ride or die who got roped into the upside down business, was shot at with his friends, buried a dead body, drove across the country to reunite the group, is linked to the group in multiple ways, played a similar role as Robin’s in ST3 but apparently he doesn’t get to stay).

they’ll keep the ugly, old white guy who is just a companion at this point but not the POCs that go MIA after they’re used to further the plot for a white main character.

I need people to stop spouting total bullshit and say "It makes sense Argyle isn't in s5 he has a family back home". The fucking government chased his car the entirety of season 5 while shooting at him, he is a literal active government fugitive. It is genuinely bad writing to just have him disappear in s5 like nothing happened and doesn't make sense. He's not going home to his parents or to Utah to bang Eden like nothing happened. S5 also clearly has extra space for another teenager given that Vickie is getting a bigger role. Stop spouting Bullshit. They just don't want him in season 5. Idk why people can't be honest and acknowledge it. Just BTW these are the only two major characters who only showed up for one season and never showed up again and aren't dead.

most likely bs. i will say.

i’ve been a strong believer that kali, if she does return, i’m 99% sure she would return as an antagonist, mainly due to her similarities to henry. she’s a morally grey character at best, & a little bit cruel at worst.

plus, i don’t know why she would help el save will. she has absolutely no reason to help el with will.

UNLESS kali, for some odd reason, is actively against henry. which i doubt, even though it’s never been written in canon (especially not in suspicious minds) that henry helped her escape. though that’s speculation.

that being said, i really do hope that kali returns for s5 in some way. it would be weird if she didn’t & it’s always been the one plot point that’s bothered me the most. bringing her back as an antagonist, in my opinion, would be a good way to round out her arc. ESPECIALLY if she’s working with henry, who will turn on her at the first chance he gets. now that’s some fucking juicy ass plot i can get behind.

I just noticed that Kali and Henry are the only ones with not only telekinetic powers but also powers to manipulate reality.

and they are also the only ones who didn't get their powers from the lab. Henry developed it when he was young while Kali's mother never went to the lab and Kali was instead stolen from her.

So, if we're right with Will getting powers. Does this mean he would, not only get telekinesis, but also the power to manipulate reality?

Hmmmm, so "who's *really* looking for Jane Hopper?" is kinda obvious; it's the military, but i don't think this is what the promo team really meant when they decided to write and show us this.

Who is the woman that loves to track people that had a connection with her childhood?

She must have discovered about Eleven being jailed in California, or probably just read the news about Hawkins and the supposed missing teen Jane Hopper.

What if El is leaving with Kali because during S5 maybe they find out from some documents at the UD lab that the experiments are not something that was going on only in Hawkins, but there are places like the one she grew up in all around the U.S. ...and she wants to free the children in those prisons too

This would make a lot of sense as her finale, and it would also sort of resolve the Kali plot with Kali abandoning her quest for revenge to follow El and her way of doing things where they don’t kill anyone unless it's to defend themselves
