CBS Ghosts is my new guilty pleasure so take my new OCs. The Blanchet family were distant French cousins of the Woodstones who visited the house in the early 1900s, only for a violent house robbery to take the life of their youngest daughter, Mercedes, and her loyal self appointed guard dog, Horse. Only 8 years old, it takes some time for Mercedes to understand her fate, and for some time she’d be very distressed that her family seem to be ignoring her. On the bright side, the other ghosts are there to try and make things easier, though the misfit collective have a hard time caring for a child given their circumstances, and conflicting ideas on how best to raise a little girl.

Of all the ghosts, she is closest with Thorfinn. He has a soft spot for the little girl.

#‘why does her dog have an English name’ because he didn’t have one at first he was just dog. and then they died #and thorfinn who had watched this dog take a bullet in attempt to save his owner #took one look at this thing and went “’AHA! I find myself really feeling for Yuichiro, like a lot. I already did before in wondering (and bawling) about the emotional weight in losing one of his children and finding him again. So the scene leading towards the final area in BN1 had me really getting his resistance towards Lan and Hub putting themselves in potentially more danger.

Remember how I said I might turn that horror Rayman art into an actual Infection AU? Here it iiiiiiiisssssssss~~

Designs maaaaaay change, but I'm sticking with these for now.

There's a plot for this, so I'm going to give a quick synopsis for it.

"The heart of the world has corrupted, Polokus has become inactive, and a deadly infection has run rampant. It is altering the lums of the world, making them sick. Many have taken matters into their own hands, while many of the Glade's heros have fallen ill to the sickness. There is no clear solution, but many have a feeling that a certain missing nymph may have the answer. Polokus needs his muse back; they just need to find her."

The infection impacts thingamajigs differently from other creatures of the Glade. Most being (dream and nightmare) turn to mossy stone statues. Others, like the nymphs, are conditionally immune.

Thingamajigs however...
