Francis is kinda like the charming type of guy at work that everyone likes, just- cranked up a notch. He's calm but TOO calm sometimes and for some strange reason knows about the little details around everyone else that you wouldn't expect him to know. For example if you read the latest update on That Stupid Little Waiter, he noticed that Denis and Bernard are dating very quickly based on the very few times they almost slipped up. Not FULLY slipped, just ALMOST slipped. Also he can know who's the bottom in a relationship real quick LOL He's a lil gossiping shit at heart. I guess I can describe it as, he's too observant for his own good

He's that character in anime that always smile even when he's absolutely pissed off. Also kinda like that one character that always has his eyes closed in a ^_^ way but when he slightly opens his eyes, you know you're fucked cuz he looks... menacingly kind, is how I can describe it

Also some small tidbit about him, he used to be a model and still does it occasionally, just as a side gig because he enjoys being a baker more. And he loves styling his hair so feel free to put him in other hairstyles XD

LEOJAMI DETECTIVE AU

Oh whut I mustered up the strength to doodle for this oh my gooooosh. :O But yes, like I said earlier I have this whole twst magical detective/law type AU swimming in my brains and I need to let it out real quick. I'll go for bulletpoints since I think that would be the easiest to write out my thoughts without going on and on xD

Everyone would be like mid to late 20's adults here. I would say Jamil is 24, so following everyone's canonical age ranges Leona would be 27.

This would be a drama-comedy so the tone would fluctuate but when it's serious it's serious when it's not it's funny. uwu

I just totally imagine a scene where they're chasing a perpetrator through a fucking McDonalds and they climb into the kids play tubes to give chase and Jamil just flies in all nimbly and Leona tries it and gets his ass legit stuck while 3 year olds are fucking laughing at him.

On the opposite tone, in this world UM's are classified by how powerful and dangerous they are to the public...so it's mandatory for mages with high threat UM's to work in magical law enforcement. Punishment is basically they hand you over to STYX forever so uh...ruh-oh.

So Jamil is actually wearing glasses preventing him from using his UM. He has to take them off to use them. Leona is supposed to be wearing gloves but like come on it's Leona lmao he do what he want.

A lot of backstory elements will be somewhat the same, like Leona being a prince and Jamil being the property of the Al-Asim's but just like different. Night Raven College did not happen.

So basically Leona and Jamil were born and raised in their respective countries. Leona chose to leave home to come to Sage Island to work for their magical police force because he surely wasn't gonna stay with his brother and nephew. Jamil was transferred to Sage Island by his previous boss, Police Chief Al-Asim...because he had served his purpose in making his son a decent enough detective.

Sage Island's magical police force is...honestly the TRENCHES. All the weird and horrible things happen there magically and it's truly not for the faint of heart to work so close with high risk cases that occur there.

Basically you get sent to work there as a mage if someone is purposely trying to get rid of you...or you are really seeking them thrills.

Yes, Crowley is the guy in charge here so you know you're in the trenches. He still takes like 48 vacations a calendar year.

Jamil and Leona get partnered up and it's basically just Leona being grumpy old and jaded while Jamil is trying to prove himself to the max and thinks he knows it all. But they eventually come to an understanding and find a mutual respect for one another.

As soon as that happens Leona is basically like "you wanna sleep with me, Jamil. I know you dooo...i know you doooooooooo"

Jamil is in denial rewatches that "YOU BETTER NOT BANG YOUR COWORKERS" tiktok over and over and over...

He wakes up in Leona's bed anyway.

Jamil is thriving in the thrill and danger of the job that keeps his mind and body sharp and feeling some sense of freedom.

Leona finally feels a deep connection with someone again who he can be on the same level with and finds some purpose to wake up in the mornings.

Jamil and Leona are fucking happy with their second place lives because they have each other in it...in the good and the bad. The highs and the lows. They're there for each other.

They are both just as equally horrified about the fact they're falling in love and being all vulnerable and mushy with one another and actually enjoying life.

Seriously they are waiting for life to realize they're so happy and destroy their happiness as it always does.

Oh and the major bad guy is gonna be a TWST OF CLAYTON FROM TARZAN.

I have always wanted to twst him as an antag but it never felt right for him to be a student but an actual threat like Rollo or Fellow.

He was a really good general with great moral compass! He would have spared Hama and the small folk. Now let me get this quick~ out of the system:

I loved his clothing and I mean he got just stabbed once(1)time he could survive that! (Helm got shot with arrows like 6 times and was fist fighting people while being very depressed in a snowstorm like a week after that)

Let there be some loyal wild men safe Targg from the battle field and then he heals but doesn't know what to do with his life and then he meets hera and olwyn and he tags along because he respects her and he has nothing better to do. They could go on a adventure together.

Or idk let him see that the raccoon man is crazy earlier and safe hama for negotiations or whatever and he helps Rohan idk I read fics with much worse unrealistic premise and it still worked great!

And wulf Ach wulf man idk what to say I will say that the German dub gave him a better and deeper voice then the English voice so that was nice! I had some feeling for him when his father died and he got choked out by helm but he really went all out to become very pathetic.

Sort of wrote a little something but feel a bit embarrassed to share it myself so I thought I'd send it here! I heavily based this off of the Twilight "Realizing He Loves You" scenario and also just Jojo's original Wolfie doodle. It's not super original but I like it enough.

I know Wolfie technically only takes kisses from pretty girls but I changed it to pretty people for the sake of being gender neutral.

Wild is watching cautiously as Wind strokes Wolfie’s fur. He knows that the younger boy can be rambunctious, and Twilight tends to be even more cautious of his personal space as Wolfie. Wild sees Wind lean towards Wolfie and reaches out to stop him. “You’d better be careful. You can pet him, but he really doesn’t like…”

“Aww, but he’s so nice to people!” Wind leans down to give Wolfie a kiss on his snout and the wolf snaps, causing Wind to jump back. “Ah! Don’t bite!”

Wild rolls his eyes. “See? He’ll only take kisses from…”

“Oh, it’s Wolfie!” Wild is cut off and looks up to see you running towards them, looking much more excitable than you usually do. You drop to your knees at the last second to run your fingers through Wolfie’s fur, giggling as you gently stroke the sides of his face and behind his ears before leaning down and peppering his snout with kisses.

Wind looks shocked when Wolfie leans into your kisses, nuzzling against you. You snuggle your face into his ruff before pulling back and stroking the top of his head as you rise to your feet again. “I’m supposed to be helping the Captain with something but I just wanted to say a quick hello to the good boy!” You look up at Wind and Wild and smile shyly. “Sorry for barging in suddenly. You guys have fun with Wolfie!”

Wind looks between Wild and Wolfie in disbelief. “I thought you said…”

Sighing, Wild rolls his eyes again. Twilight really is something else. “Pretty people. He’ll only take kisses from pretty people.”

so a quick blurb for this:

wwx was on the way somewhere on his bike and accidentally locked eyes with lwj and lwj was instantly smitten. lwj immediately called his brother and revealed he's definitely not ace (he felt nothing for anyone before this so he was shocked) he's not sure why at all but really wants to see him again.

wwx didn't have time to stop so he went on, but he comes back through there sometimes hoping he sees him again (so does lwj)

They missed each other a bunch of times, but eventually they randomly met again, doing something completely normal like grocery shopping! They hit it off immediately and finally get into proper contact, and one day... 😳 💖 👻🐇 they start dating!

I'm in love with a new brush so I started doodling and then created modern ghost/bunny (from ghost of mine) kjhgsdfg- so have my sketch ! really like how I drew wwx. the other stuff was on the fly so...ignore their haircuts I'm iffy abt em XD I love wwx here tho the mid-length suits him.

BONUS

While not fully fleshed out, her skills would include these (some of which are seen in the fanfiction, too).

Distraction Force (Ultimate) Summons a shadowy Hypofiend version of herself to draw enemy attention. Will then move behind the strongest enemy to deal a heavy blow against them, making them more vulnerable for some time.

Swift Strike Lavinia uses her sword to deal a couple of swift strokes at the enemy.

Shadow Dodge Being permanently infused with small parts of Berial's powers, Lavinia can evade a certain number of final blows by moving into the shadows, changing tiles as she does so.

I don't think her actual attack powers are very remarkable, though, I just think she might be a warrior that's a little harder to kill than ... Valen. xD So she's more someone to use if you're hoping to work against the game clock.

Dergtober 9-13

Lots of loose black and white thumbnails coming up.

Day 9: Exalt; featuring a scared and slightly divine tundra cub. I was inspired by what @/Petall did for this one to work with what exalt means outside of flight rising instead of the mechanic. There’s an old draft of Mani’s background in his bio, but in short, he has the misfortune of being involved in one of the darker threads of lore in my clan. His egg was the first to survive a series of experiments a secretive group was doing on ancient ice artifacts that irradiate dangerous levels of pure ice magic. This involved his egg being exposed to way more elemental magic than an egg ever should, resulting in a dragon that has way more magic than a dragon really should. Mani was revered by the group and certainly had been raised into power, but it was hardly a childhood he wanted. (Things do work out okay for him eventually! But he has to do his own rescuing for a while.)

Day 10: Crossroads; I had two ideas for this one, one cheery to make up for sad tundra baby and one less so. I decided to sketch both, and you can tell which one I got more invested in. XD Version 1 is one of my clan's trading caravans reaching a literal crossroads and starting to debate on which way to go, featuring Cadmus, Merlin, Euryale, Aella, and Sandía. Version 2 is for a metaphorical crossroads where a certain dragon has to decide whether to change his path in life. Alden sits in a sort of an awkward, unresolved space in my lore-- waay back when Sandía was in a roleplay onsite I got attached to a semi-villain NPC I was using, then somehow hatched a dragon that was a close match of the colors I pictured for said NPC, then had the roleplay fall out soon after. So, I was still invested in whatever would have happened between Alden and Sandía but didn’t want anything from the roleplay to be canon to avoid stepping on material that deeply involved someone else’s lore. I know their story involves Alden working for kidnappers and at some point making the difficult decision to change sides and free her, but have never gotten around to ironing out the details.

Day 11: Pile; featuring a quick doodle of a sleep pile of the little found family Mani eventually gets. On the right we've got Mani cuddling his partner Pruino, who's in turn getting piled on by Pruino's apprentice Marco, and above them an adolescent Siku, who is basically a child Mani just showed up with one day. Mani probably told Pruino what was up with Siku immediately (it's related to the group that experimented on him, now his sworn enemy), but it takes him a long time to warm up to Marco and let him into their circle of secrets. It occurred to me later that I totally excluded Kilauea, who should count as part of Mani's circle, but then again Kilauea is on tenser terms with most of them and wouldn't have been very comfortable in the sleep pile.

Day 12: Scroll;featuring Dauen. He doesn't really have lore so much as vibes, but I'm sure he'll end up with a story one day. I decided there should be a updraft early on and just sort of went with it.

Day 13: Serthis; featuring an as of yet unnamed Serthis and Cadogan's egg. This lone serthis has stumbled upon egg, size:large and they are debating what to do about it. The answer is adopt child, size:large, but they haven't gotten there in their pondering yet. Just now they're probably trying to decide how big the parents must have been. The drawing is still at sketch-phase, but I ended up playing with colors for a while so it'll be that much harder to clean up the sketch if I decide to finish this after dergtober.

I had some time in between commission sketches to do a quick doodle for this idea

So basically the concept is (and I've been workshopping different versions of it so it could change just fyi) this kid who's like obsessed with all things evil and villainous. They live in a world where superheros/villains exist but they think their town is kinda boring because nothing ever happens, the hero who protects their city is basically too good at her job. The kid however discovers some obscure group of villains and just hyperfixates on them without really knowing much about them (there isn't much info anywhere about them) but they fantasize about how cool they are...

Little do they know, these particular villains come from a dimension where good = bad and bad = good

And when they just so happen to stumble upon them one day and follow them to their hideout (they want to join them) well.. of course things don't go exactly as they hoped it would.

This is of course one of the many versions of this concept. I know I want the main thing to be about the group of villains and I sorta came up with the mc last second. I think they might end up being a side character or something I'm not sure. I have a bad habit of thinking I'm coming up with something cool and different and it being literally a copy of something else so. Lemme know what you guys think

It's Megaman's birthday today and y'know what I decided to do?

Make a post about my au about Roll. XD

Well, sort of.

Fr though, I really do love the Megaman franchise. It's one of the main reasons I draw today and want to get better at story telling. I honestly would've made a full drawing instead of a handful of doodles, but life gets busy and I need my sleep.

Anyways, last time I posted I showed you guys this design I came up with for Roll's armor.

This time though, I wanna talk a bit more about Rock's part in the au because despite what I say, he is still a main character in the au.

First I had to get a good grasp on who Rock is as a character before figuring out what he'd be like in the au. Canonically, he's a kind, courageous boy, with a strong sense for justice and is very polite towards others but is a little naive.

With that in mind I think he'd largely be the same in the au, only difference being he's more protective of Roll and does his best to be the responsible one. However being responsible does mean he's a rule follower, it makes Rock feel guilty.

Despite the new protective streak though, Rock definitely knows Roll's willingness to wreck Wily's newest machines like there's no tomorrow, which does worry him a bit, but he's very glad she's on his side.

This actually brings up a theme I want to incorporate: opposites complimenting each other.

Rock truly believes in Dr. Light's dream and wants it to become reality, on the flipside, Roll's more concerned with things happening in the moment. Rock absolutely hates fighting, Roll finds it fun. Rock is more quick to accept obstacles as they are, meanwhile Roll always looks for another way.

That last thing actually leads me to bringing up an old concept from an entirely different au. Because Roll always looks for another solution, what if she managed to befriend some of the bosses from some of the games?

Rock wants to stop fighting and actively tries to dissuade the robots he fights, but accepts it as inevitable because he doesn't see another option. Roll however is more empathic to other robots issues and unlike Rock is too stubborn to give up on finding a different way. Through her empathy, Roll may be able to dissuade robots from fighting by reaching out a helping hand.

Obviously, this doesn't work for every robot master, but it will work for some, and it's this that gives Rock hope throughout the many battles he and Roll find themselves in.

It's the main reason he keeps putting the armor back on when Wily comes back with another plot. As long as Rock has Roll to fight alongside, there will always be another way. Maybe one of those ways will lead to the peace they both want.

That's just Rock for now, there's still even more to think of. Like Protoman.

Much like Rock, Protoman is largely unchanged with the only difference being that he is more willing to show up and spend time with Rock and Roll in a mentor sort of role.

This is because with both of them in active fighting roles, they're gonna need some training. This happens after the twins beat Wily as a team for the first time, so before or after MM3. Blues helps Rock with aim and difficult jumps, while he helps Roll come up with new ways to use her broom. They all also do team exercises so they can fight more effectively, but they don't always accomplish their goals. Blues is a tough teacher and the twins ended up running back to Light Labs after one of them collapsed during training.

They were so freaked out after the first few times it happened. One time they both passed out during training, dw Blues carried them home as a good big brother should.

There's still more to think of with this au. I have a lot in mind, including merging this au with that Megaman X au I've been thinking about. Y'all will probably know which one it is, I have very few au's here.

Overall, Rock and Roll both want peace between humans and robots, they just have different mindsets that influence how they go about it individually. That's why I think it's so important that they fight together.

With that said enjoy this final doodle of Megaman and Sunstar. I like to think that Rock, with Roll and Rush's support, managed to find a way to save Sunstar in this au and the two became buddies.

Sunstar really likes his little friend, but not nearly as much as Mercury likes Roll

She's his favorite.

I thought of this and thought it was kinda funny so here we are

I feel like Raph fully believes that the youngest two cannot do any wrong (at least…somewhat in Bea’s case-) and so whenever Mikey says a swear his first thought is that one of or both of the twins said it around him and he picked it up from them
