(it was around the time he got glasses as a kid)#(and was told that he might lose his sight completely one day so he became an emo because he already wanted to be an artist#like beldaruit who ran his foster home where he encouraged kids to draw art to express their feelings.)#and an insidious deviantart group called The Brimhats idk stole it & reposted it. he never got to the bottom of who exactly did it.#but one day. they will fucking suffer.#(he believes their goal was to develop AI art as they said stuff like 'all art should belong to everyone anyway' & 'there shouldnt be rules'#but actually they were probably just regular mean ppl who have moved on to new things in life than stealing kids' art on deviantart.#who knows though.) i want people to retain their disabilities or general tragedies like beldaruit would be in a wheelchair#and coco's mum is in a coma. but its just so funny if qifrey just has regular bad eyesight#and it's so cute that he would say he doesnt think of beldaruit as a dad & is distant with him but now basically runs a foster home too#where he doesnt just encourage like he was encouraged but actively teaches kids from sad backgrounds to become wonderful artists one day#anyway i am so fucking hungry now goodbye#P.S. Thought about making a ghost town au jason design but kinda bluescreened when I realized he wouldn't be a doll tbh
#ghost town is a story if mine ^v^! its mostly just design fun#and yeah ghost doll isn't a fit for jason. well maybe it could depend on time when/how he died#but both of his proper deaths ive seen he wouldn't make a doll ghost. maybe a broken or cracked doll#he gets close. so i can see it happening for him depending#doll ghostss are people who often hide their own feelings and will try to make themselves better or more appealing for others#often at the harm and loss of themselves#theres also an element of being something to display to it#so like. all of my doll aus#thinking about his batarang death. DEFINITELY a ghost thatd have their injury clear#cant tell if i want him actually drenched in blood or like. stylized blood. like that pearl necklace#kinda want him in a suit of armor tbh. for funsies. im varying between that or just his normal self#well actually i fully believe a post utrh death jason would look like his child self. but shhh we're exploring other avenues right now#i cant WAIT to finish my jason todd design so i can start dressing him up hehe#unfortunately figuring out just like. normal designs. is harder for me than au outfits so its taking me a bit -~-#and/or doll ghosts can be from incredibly passive people bc that is like attached to my previous explanations. squares and rectangles tho#not related to jason

Possibly...#Well whatever it is I'm happy with the rest so it's fine#And I do still like her little paws and such - I've really fallen in love with the heart/bodice shape however you want to call it#Definitely not part of her initial design but it's very her I feel so I'm glad for it it's a design element that has carryover forever now#Just casually y'know lol#My edits even trick my own eye 'cause I'm like ''Wow her lines are so clean she looks so easy to draw'' - I did that in post!#She is fairly easy to draw tho she's good shapes :)#Had a lot of fun drawing her laid out lol horizontal poses tend to be quite fun#And the shapes feel continuous! So often I'll have it where the obscured leg just goes off to space completely unaffixed from the rest#Not here tho I'm pleased :)#It's funny 'cause I tend to draw Cure as being oddly serious - yes smiley and weird but she's actually fairly even tempered!#So it's nice to doodle her having genuine simple fun :) Just enjoying movement hehe slides are fun!#I'm imagining water slide-style type slides just without the water - very twisty and wiggly haha#She's still a plush tho despite being a bear she's not the biggest fan of water#Continuing to try and practice full-bodies at least as much as my spacing will allow lol#Posing's fun like that ♪#I haven't been using it lately so I think it stands out a lot more in that last one but without her little bracelet thing#I feel like the ribbon makes it more obvious that she generally only has An accessory at a time#I guess her arm is obscured she Could be wearing it there lol covered in ribbons!#It's cute but I like her simplicity best haha
