I think Neji would make a good father probably a strict parent a little but like not overbearing. And him wanting to be for/around his children as much as possible (considering he lost his father at 4 years old) he doesn’t want them to experience what he did at such a young age. I can imagine him having twins and him carrying them around proudly tbh

➢ now i believe in my heart of hearts that neji would have girls.

➢ though quick pivote to angst territory here, but i can honestly see neji never having kids due to his upbringing. i can imagine he wants to end the generational trauma within his clan and not having kids is neji's way of ending the cycle.

➢ anyways, that out of the way...

➢ throughout his s/o's pregnancy, neji would spend lots of his nights grappling with his feelings of becoming a father. he's both elated and apprehensive. he never thought he would come this far—the hyuga clan united as one, starting a family with the love of his life—and it makes his chest feel warm (because again, in #MY naruto cinematic universe, neji becomes clan head after the war and gets that nasty ass seal decommissioned).

➢ but he also feels an almost foreboading sense of unease that lasts throughout the pregnancy and never fully leaves. neji lost his father at such a young age and it had such a huge impact on his life, he doesn't want his kids to go through such pain. he doesn't know if he'll even be a good father. doesn't know if he even deserves this life.

➢ during the pregnancy, neji tries to direct his nervous energy into preparing for the babies (setting up the nursery, babyproofing the house etc). he wants to feel productive and useful. he waits on his s/o, growing quite protective of them, insisting they rest and to not strain themself. will take any opportunity to have his hand on the s/o's stomach, feeling his heart skip a beat when he feels the babies kick for the first time.

➢ initially when the girls were born, they were quite controversial due to them being the first branch members to never have the seal branded on them. neji is not afraid to put people in their place if they ever make the mistake of commenting negatively on this. he will move heaven and earth to ensure that his children will never have to go through even a fraction of what he had to go through growing up.

➢ he enjoys reading to his kids so much! especially when they start asking questions when they're older. they've had plenty of long discussions because of this. deep down, he finds it so cute when they're very obviously tired but they insist that he continous with the story.

➢ i can imagine that the older twin takes after a lot after him phyisically but inherits the s/o's personality. meanwhile, the younger twin looks like the s/o, but is the more sensible and levelheaded out of the two. they would both have neji's eyes.

➢ training is neji's main way of bonding with his kids. he's one of those strict but fair kind of teachers, he just wants them to be able to protect themselves. he would instill the teachings of his own sensei to his children, "stronger than you were yesterday."

➢ the day his kids manage to get a hit on him during training is when he's super proud of them. i imagine the older twin learning the rotation jutsu when she's a little older and neji would call her a "true genius."

➢ deep down, he'd be somewhat relieved if one or both of the kids decide to not go down the shinobi path. he wouldn't have to be worried for their safety as much. but regardless, he would at least teach basic defence for them.

➢ when the twins are young, neji makes it a habit of kissing their foreheads after tucking them to bed. it's a way of reassuring himself and partly because he still can't believe that his kids are free and will never be cursed to a life of servitude and submission.

➢ on some nights, his thoughts would drift to his father, wishing he was still alive to meet his children and to see just how far things have changed in the clan. it's surreal to him, but the mix of bittersweetness and sentimentality he feels makes his heart ache.

➢ as a parent, i think he would be strict, but not to the point of it being unreasonble. he'd be quite protective of them, too (especially when they're young). he values respect. and ultimately, he wants to be a good role model for the children. i imagine his s/o would be the more "chill" parent, but both kids know not to mess with them.

➢ my biggest hc i have for this is neji would take his kids out birdwatching with him. i imagine that this was something neji would do with his late father, and in a way, neji feels like it's another way of keeping his father's memory alive. him and his s/o would carry them up on their shoulders as they use their byakugan to look at the birds. neji would talk about facts/stories surrounding them.

➢ snow days!! imagine the twins making four snowmen (one for each family member) as neji watches from the balcony with a soft smile on his face. he somehow manages to turn a snowball fight to a training session, telling them to try and hit him. is secretly a little miffed when his s/o cheers his kids on.

➢ his kids (and his s/o) are the only ones allowed to touch neji's hair. it's become a common occurance to have flowers in his hair whenever they braid it. as much as it embarrased him, he wouldn't take it out. the grins on their faces are worth it though, anything to make them happy.

➢ carries them on his back after long days!! not together of course. there were plenty of times in which he has to break up arguments over who gets to be carried. deep down, neji finds these quite amusing, even though he's firm with them. in his eyes, it's the cutest thing

➢ side tangent: if neji ever had twin boys, he would name the younger twin after his father. don't you just love literay parallels?

Dream Chaser's Blight: An ancient weapon that was once used to protect a certain scholar from ages past and to forge a path towards their shared dreams. He has carefully preserved it so that the wielder can use it once more... even though they can no longer perform that duty.

Fly or Fall: HP is increased by X%. When an Elemental Skill hits opponents or heals allies for the first time, the next character that is swapped to will have their CRIT Rate increased by X% and CRIT DMG increased by X%.

Weapon Description: The sound of his fellow peer's humming had become commonplace to the youth. In particular, it always happened when they were carefully cleaning their weapon after a battle, mostly with Ruin Machines that needed to be dismantled with minimal damage... occasionally other unscrupulous people. At the beginning of their budding relationship, the grumpy scholar paid little attention to their fiddling, but as of late, he had taken notice of how his partner's usually tender hands glided along the weapon with ease. The lovely scholar quickly noticed with a smile and inquired of him:

"What, are you interested in my expert skills now? Or- don't tell me, you wish to learn?"

The man clicked his tongue in false disinterest, to which his companion chuckled. They beckoned him further, agreeing that teaching him some basic combat would be wise. After all, despite his high intelligence getting him out of ninety-nine percent of situations, the one percent was certainly something he should plan for. However, unbeknownst to the young man's lover, perhaps he felt a twinge in his chest at the sight of their occasional cuts and bruises. Regardless, before he could finish his thought, something was hurled at him and he had mere moments to catch it.

His so-called beloved had thrown their weapon at him out of nowhere and he could hardly hold it up, all while they were laughing. They just wanted to test his reaction time, they reasoned, sauntering up to him and then relieving him of the weapon's weight, easily maneuvering it to their will.

"Why, you can hardly hold it up, can you? Too heavy, eh? Unsurprising, I know there's a reason I have to haul your items around... but don't worry too much. Until you obtain the powers of the Gods... anyone who hurts my ███ will have to answer to me. But even after, they still will!"

However, an unlived eternity came with nearly insurmountable change for the man's once cheery classmate. Having not picked up a weapon in centuries, the promise was lost to time.

But one day the tired soul questioned their darling, surprised that he had held on to their centuries-old weapon, which had somehow not decayed by now. In turn, he responded that he had preserved all of their belongings from long ago as best as he could. Their weapon in particular was kept in pristine condition, remembering all the opportunities it provided for him. A glimmer of excitement appeared in his love's eyes as they asked if they could hold the weapon once more, to which he hesitantly agreed. But it had hardly made it into his beloved's hands before they nearly toppled over with the weight.

"W-Was it always that heavy...?"

The patient's question was only met with silent sadness and fury from the doctor.

So when you look up what the fastest bird in the world is, Google with show the Peregrin Falcom

But there's a catch

The Peregrine is only fast when diving

When it dives to catch its prey, it can go up to 389km/h

Which yeah, pretty fast

But when casually flying, it only goes up to 120 iirc

The Needle Tail?

It can go up to 170km/h

Some have even recorded going over 300! (Close to the Falcon's dive, I believe)

Additionally, these birds only fly. Their habitat is literally listed as "the air," and some even believe they sleep while flying! They only ever land to brood and mate, and then they're off again. Their legs are so short that, if they ground, they can't fly again because it doesn't give enough room to flap their wings.

It fits Blurr perfectly!

It also has a blue-ish colour pattern I can work with lol (it's green, but it looks blue, lol)

Though, also, he isn't 100% like the Needle Tail, just based off of it. I still want avians to be sorta their own species and doesn't have to be exactly like their bird counterparts cuz they aren't them, they're their own thing.

That said, Blurr is one of the shortest from Avians population, still.

They're pretty big.

Another trivial detail of the design!

I was stuck between having his arms be his wings or have them be separate

Until I saw a drawing where they had both, and I realised, "Wait, why isn't that done more often! That's so cool!"

So that's sorta what I did

It's mainly to catch small prey when grounded and to stay better perched up on trees since they're much bigger and having extra fingers helps a lot. Or when they're climbing against a tree to pick up fruits, it gives them an extra boost and can better hang from it

But they're pretty much useless besides that lol

Other lore stuff. The time in which the au takes place is vaguely modern? But with fantasy aspects? I still haven't decided lol

Technology exists, but not in the way we have it sort of deal, idk, this au is pretty bare bones right now, so go wild with it XD I don't mind it, I love brainstorming it with people. I know this au isn't as big or complex as some others out there, but it's fun, and I hope yall like it too fjsjajaj

ok so first i open the img i want + the gifs i want in different folders and then i put the gifs into my img (u can see how to put gifs in ur img here, is a different example but works the same for gifs), should look like this:

then i click at the keyboard icon down there and then i click in "shift", after that i click in the gif folders

now i go to "layer", click at "animation" and then "merge"

doing this, both of the gif folders will become one and then they will work together as a single gif, so after that it should look like this:

and now u export as a gif like u normally do and bam ! u can now use two gifs in the same img !! here is how it turned:

DISCLAIMER: u cant merge the gifs when there is a img between them, otherwise it wont work !! so if u want to put a gif in the back & above of ur img u have to download the gif in the back + ur img as a gif and then create a separate work with the gif u just downloaded so the u can put the gif u want above and then merge them !! (srry if it sounds confusing im not good explaining in english)

Free of the pain and trauma of your less-than-ideal living conditions and treatment in Twisted Wonderland. No more scars marring your skin, reminding you of how you danced with death because of somebody else’s unresolved problems. No more silently wishing you had the words to explain just how hurt and afraid you are.

Only to watch it all fall apart as you realize the lie.

Torturing your ocs is a way of showing love and I do like this idea Shrimp annon but you know what is also sort of worse?

Malleus didn't do that for Yuu. Not in game anyway, maybe when the light novel catches up we will get some confirmation that there was part of Yuu's ideal world in their dreams but no, we just went to visit Mickey in his dream world. The boring reason for that is we need to talk to Mickey to advance the story, and that his and Yuu's dreams are linked in some way but ooooooh

You could also take this as Malleus not being willing to allow his friend happiness he cannot share. Yuu's ideal world needs to be linked to Twisted Wonderland in someway because then he doesn't have to let them be happy without him, but it also means Yuu is always aware they are trapped in a dream because deep down this isn't completely where they want to be. Not even your dreams are free of scars of someone else's problems, there really is no rest for the wicked, why else would Yuu be tortured so?
