At what point is the "white woman blogger" joke like, unproductive/helpful. cuz initially it seemed to come out as valid criticism to a trend of white women online with a lot of privledge who just, often ran into doing/saying really racist/sexist/ableist, etc stuff one way or another but now it just feels like the butt end of a joke

also before people start trying to equate sid with what the rat did can i just say that i watched both the 2016 visit and the 2017 visit and sid's behavior was completely different - right up front in 2016, lots of photos, big smiles. Vs 2017 it was very obviously just a formality and sid said nothing. (also also the rat didnt say anything about who he voted for he just parroted the usual southern patriotic line? I dont see why people are jumping to conclusions that he is a diehard conservative from this? I dont think this totally negates the efforts i have seen from the rat in promoting LGBQT rights in a very very red state like florida. Not to defend a guy whose hockey i hate or anything. The problem with Lou is that he wanted to hijack Buck's coming out narrative (and by extension the buddie narrative) when he saw people willing to pay big money in his cameos, so he started encouraging the parasocial relationships of the fans and now that his hopes of sidelining Eddie's character for Tommy are dead on the ground he is trying to act like a victim so that the insane fans he created keep giving him money.

Thank you for the summary?… I did in fact watch the stream yesterday lol. So I know what happened. It is notable however, that while Sapnap takes Tommy’s netherite sword and chestplate to threaten him into joining him, Sapnap gives back the items before Tommy agrees [clip], so the threat didn’t last long. And Tommy actually doesn’t seem to want to join Sapnap until, “the woman,” Alyssa is mentioned and that’s when he’s more on board [clip] and then really on board once Alyssa mentions him taking her diamond [clip]. Needless to say, the argument that Sapnap threatened Tommy into the war is bullshit as Tommy clearly was enthusiastic for the war against Alyssa, even killing her unprompted [clip] before the war even begins. But even if Sapnap had forced or coerced Tommy into joining him in the war, as you pointed out it is separate from them attacking Dream that then started the disc saga, so it’s pretty irrelevant to the whole point. Like… it doesn’t even matter. Not unless we wanna discuss how screwed up and kinda sexist it is for Tommy to kill and join the war because of “the woman,” Alyssa and then refer to her voice as the ghost in his head throughout the stream… but let’s not open that can of worms just now.
