The problem with Lou is that he wanted to hijack Buck's coming out narrative (and by extension the buddie narrative) when he saw people willing to pay big money in his cameos, so he started encouraging the parasocial relationships of the fans and now that his hopes of sidelining Eddie's character for Tommy are dead on the ground he is trying to act like a victim so that the insane fans he created keep giving him money.

Thank you for the summary?… I did in fact watch the stream yesterday lol. So I know what happened. It is notable however, that while Sapnap takes Tommy’s netherite sword and chestplate to threaten him into joining him, Sapnap gives back the items before Tommy agrees [clip], so the threat didn’t last long. And Tommy actually doesn’t seem to want to join Sapnap until, “the woman,” Alyssa is mentioned and that’s when he’s more on board [clip] and then really on board once Alyssa mentions him taking her diamond [clip]. Needless to say, the argument that Sapnap threatened Tommy into the war is bullshit as Tommy clearly was enthusiastic for the war against Alyssa, even killing her unprompted [clip] before the war even begins. But even if Sapnap had forced or coerced Tommy into joining him in the war, as you pointed out it is separate from them attacking Dream that then started the disc saga, so it’s pretty irrelevant to the whole point. Like… it doesn’t even matter. Not unless we wanna discuss how screwed up and kinda sexist it is for Tommy to kill and join the war because of “the woman,” Alyssa and then refer to her voice as the ghost in his head throughout the stream… but let’s not open that can of worms just now.
