Slowly rotating vigilante outfits for the batkids in the meat marionette au. Currently only sketches, but I like to think that they either have baggy short sleeves or no sleeves, what with how their limbs are designed. Especially with how their arms and legs can contort as though they have extra joints. I don't know how the backs of their outfits would be, but I'm thinking that it'd probably be open, seeing as they have wings, which could explain why they have capes. Most of their bags are more towards their sides because of their wings, and the fact that the larger bags towards the back need to be above their tails.

my cds (and cassette tape) finally arrived in the mail today!!
#I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS#was getting 10 cds and a cassette tape at once maybe a bit overkill? possibly#but i saw the bogo free sale banner and my brain lept at the chance to get more cds for half the price lol#i feel like my collection might be growing a bit too fast esp considering i only started collecting them this fall#but also I HAVE A WHOLE PILE OF CDS NOW LOOK AT IT THERE'S SO MANY AND THEY'RE MY FAVORITE ALBUMS TOO#it's like seeing blorbo from your music in real life in your home#just looking at a cd and being like !!! i literally listen to you every day i didn't know you were also Real#the difference between having something only on your phone even if you still see/listen to it a lot and having a Physical Thing is massive#just. i haven't even opened these up yet they look so pretty im just staring at them in awe while typing this rn#ykw 10 cds is a lot to unbox all at once and if they have extra stuff on the inside too i don't think I'd be able to fully appreciate it#i think im gonna save some of the unwrapping for later as a lil treat maybe for when im having a bad day#so i can come home and unwrap it and look inside and get that serotonin boost#just a lil something i can look forward to in the future :3#they said money can't buy happiness but it turns out i just did and my happiness comes in the form of physical media lol#and ykw i think this is a pretty sweet deal like if i had to choose any hobby to spend money on this would be a great choice#it's cheap you get to support your favorite musicians and you get infinite dopamine out of it (well as long as the cd lasts ig)#just. im still looking at them i cant believe the pictures and sounds from my phone are Real and i can touch them now#...it's probably gonna take a while for me to get over the awe and actually open them up and start looking inside for goodies and stuff#ive been meaning to take pictures of the cool stuff from the precious cds that i got but i still haven't gotten around to it lol#just. the emotions are too big. even just looking at it brings me so much joy that if i opened it up to find more stuff inside#it'd be too much for my brain to handle and it would just explode or something lol#anyway i think that wall of text is long enough so im gonna go admire my cds some more now#mine#cd#cds#cassette tape#music#reminder#for later#<- and that is so i actually remember to open them up and look inside instead of just admiring it like a painting

Was thinking abt my slugcat hcs and decided to doodle some scugs and ramble a smidge abt them. I’m not very happy with my hunter and arti designs atm unfortunately, but I like my concepts for them still
#keese draws#rain world#rain world survivor#rain world monk#rain world hunter#rain world artificer#rw survivor#rw monk#rw hunter#rw artificer#I don’t have the motivation to draw everyone else but I’ll share some tidbits of my hcs#gourmand is a scug that actually can invert their stomach but they usually don’t#spearmaster’s spear creation was engineered through modified mucus glands#I’ve talked abt this before but saint’s ‘fur’ isn’t actually fur but an insulating coat of thick foamy motified mucus#and rivulet spends a Lot more time grooming than any of the other scugs#not out of necessity they just need to get that extra energy out somehow during the long rains#but yeah I’m a fluffy slugcat hater sorry furries in the chat they are slimy lil guys to me#oh to be clear the purposed for cleaning hc is inspired by the pipe slugs but not directly referencing them#in my hcs oh scugs were typically more for getting junk out of larger bodies of water with pipes being more of a secondary thing#they were never fully aquatic but they used to be much more partially aquatic than their current counterparts#this changed as the inputs and outputs of their main food sources stopped functioning and they were forced to more and more so scavenge#in my minds eye their tails were originally used as a floaty of sorts for when they dunked their heads underwater to feed#but after they left the water they eventually lost the pouch of air in their tails so now their tails are mostly a nuisance#they do make grooming easier at least since reached to their backs every time would be hard

i feel like the way ‘dogtok’/‘dogstagram’ talks about reactivity makes reactive dog owners feel a lot more ashamed than they ought to
#idk i just.. don’t really see anything to be ashamed about? and i hate the ‘your dog is reactive because you FAILED’ mindset#sometimes you do absolutely everything right and the universe still throws some shit at you that leads to reactivity#and it’s just a thing that happens sometimes#dogs are animals with teeth and claws and fur and tails#they shit outside and roll in dead things and sniff each others butts#and sometimes have big feelings about things#and that’s just part of being a little critter#it’s not a moral failing on anyone’s part that your dog is a dog instead of a cardboard cutout of a dog#not everything goes smoothly 100% of the time and sometimes you end up with an extra Thing that needs to be worked on#and yeah of course Working On It can be stressful. no one wants to see their dog having a hard time. which is exactly why we don’t need to#-be pushing the added stress of GUILT#it’s not helpful to anyone. it doesn’t prevent reactivity in the future. it just makes someone who’s already having a hard time have a-#-worse one#this is not a situation that needs blame#idk if any of this makes sense#my meds are making me a lil weird lmao#@ everyone who has a reactive dog: you’re doing a great job and if anyone tries to make you feel guilty#eat them#keep Workin On It and remember that Dogs Is Dogs#kill the goblin in your brain that tells you you’re the worst guy to have ever done it#you’re normal your dog is normal. give both of you a cookie rn

#Tim is on the brain#she'd be so fucking skinny. very tragic. consequences of the moon war#she's Also one of the ones who gets full body resets pretty regularly bc of her violence habits#so she very rarely has the opportunity to put on weight- and even more rarely the opportunity to keep it for any notable period of time#she filled out a bit during her Persephone era with the (at the minimum) 70 years Ashes ruled the Acheron#bc she did not die often then and when she did it was even more rarely a complete destruction of her body#it was WILD to look at her body in the mirror and not see bone for the first couple years.#and she kinda misses it sometimes but she won't say that alout#also Jonny <333#he was underfed as hell (less so than Tim tho) during his time in new texas but I like to think his body just naturally holds weight easier#he's always had a bit of a belly#and there was enough time between Carmilla picking him up and getting mechanized that he picked up some more weight too#through regular meals and alcoholism#he's got a beer belly. like his belly isn't stiff stiff and there's a lot of softness there but its more rounded than folds#typical beer belly from a naturally fat person y'know#ough#I love them sm#tummy <33333#all of the mechs are just... so unapologetically into each other's body types#Ivy definitely is chubby too love her for that <3333#all the mechs are chubby. Ts and Tim and Nastya are the exceptions#Brian was heavy set well before his death and that benefited him so much as a robot. so much extra space for optimizing machinery#which is also delightful to crack his stomach open and spread that sensitive machinery out on a bed around him to play with#Ashes is also the obvious choice here but they like to stay completely clothed a lot so tummy glimpses are hard to come by#and immediately drooled over by their partners.#and Raphaella always wears that lil crop top in contrast and she gets So many tummy kisses#and y'know her tummy is ALSO immediately drooled over by her partners because their bodies never get old to each other#everyone has such good tummies. there's no such thing as a bad tummy regardless of how big or small it is#kinkdicon

so I uhhhhh had to change Sabrina's lip preset to one that didn't clip incessantly at the slightest facial expression 🙃
I tried to keep it pretty similar to her original shape, tho I've learned quickly how annoying it is to find FUNCTIONAL lip presets that don't end up looking crazy with the slightest quirk of the mouth

#today my therapist helped me realize that Ive been in freeze mode like all year#like therapy is always me talking things out and then realizing as I’m talking what the issue is and why it’s happening lol#I’ve felt so confident that I’m healed and in some ways I am but in others I still have so much work to do#and I think that has blinded me from seeing the work I still have to do like being kind to myself#I have set such high standards and expectations of myself that when things didn’t go as planned all at once#I just couldn’t handle not meeting my own expectations and became so overwhelmed on how to move forward that I got stuck#like duh that makes sense but also I have not shown myself grace at all like girl.#so I’m going to be extra soft and kind w myself rn bc I need it#and tomorrow I’m going to wake up and do my lil workout and be intentional and give myself the affirmation I need#I need this reminder to myself bc I deserve kindness and good things in my life every day#anyways.
