Lately I’ve been seeing creators being sad and feeling unmotivated and overall just feeling like there’s no reason to create. And I wanted to make this tiny post (as part of today’s feel good #221).
I want every single one of you, who constantly day by day create something, let that be gifsets, fanarts, fanfictions, countdown posts etc. - you are so so important. You are what makes being in the fandom fun, enjoyable and meaningful. You give meaning to everything. Believe me. And I wanna thank you all for tirelessly working and putting out content every day or whenever you can.
As we approach the end of the year I wanna thank you all for being so amazing. Every single one of you is so creative and amazing and all of your uniqueness is beautiful. Thank you for making every day a little better with your creations. It’s very easy to feel like nothing you do is good enough or feel like you don’t matter when the interaction is so low (and believe I am speaking from experience) but believe me your worth cannot be measured by numbers. Your worth lies in what that one person who had and extremely bad day feels when they see a gifset/fanart/gfx of a moment that is very dear to them posted by you and they smile and even if for a second but forget about what made them sad.
It’s okay to feel sad, it’s okay to yearn for an audience and it’s just so normal to yearn to be appreciated cause in the end you still put those hours into your own creations.
And I hope that even if at the moment you want to take a step back, want to take a break to try and find that lost motivation - never ever stop being the creative and beautiful people that you are💜 And I hope the spark one way or another but will find its way back to you💜
Thank your making MY and others day BETTER by being the amazing creators that you are💜

hii honey 🥹 quickly wanted to mention that ur part of the reason why I even got tumblr, and everything u post is extremely helpful to like, anybody. I also have a question. Lately, I haven't been doing a lot of my assignments, and i've been cheating on tests sometimes because I dont remember anything I learned and I really need to keep my grades up. I just have no motivation to do my work or study at home. I am usually tired or using my phone, and no matter how bored I am, I cant even bring myself to work on my assignments. In my AP lang class I have like a 59. I really have no motivation to do anything but I'm a junior and this year is when grades r the most important. do u have any tips on how to actually be productive and motivated to do schoolwork? also with not getting distracted easily because that's another big problem of mine. sorry for this essay, but I hope this reaches you 💕
hey anonie! so i just wanna let u know that it’s so normal for us as juniors to feel really unmotivated around this time of school because the third quarter often feels like the longest. here’s what i have to say…💬🎀
📔 write down ur homework as soon as u get it and do it as soon as possible - you rly have to stay on top of ur school work and this is a rly digestible way to do so.
🎀 study during the times of the day that your the most alert and make sure that you limit distractions.
📔 if ur cheating on something make sure that you actually know the bulk of what the test is and have the answers to a few questions in the back of ur mind to ensure u get the most things right as possible.
🎀 don’t be afraid to ask for help/use the resources you have! personally i use AI like a tutor and ask it give me practice problems and explain concepts i don’t understand so make sure your using ur resources!

He's been invading my mind lately so why not turn this old blog into a roleplay blog for the silly?
A bit of canon info (found it on the wiki page-)

His left forearm has the ability to take the shape of multiple weapons.
Despite being kind, helpful and friendly, he's cruel and sadistic towards his enemies and intruders.
His favorite food is s'mores :33
He's married to Mister Hotchkiss.
My headcanons for the boy :3

- Respect me and the people I roleplay with.
- Magic anons and tickles asks are allowed, just don't be a weirdo about it.
- Do not spam in the askbox.
- Don't try to force me into roleplaying with you, it'll just make me unmotivated to do so.

💭rivals to lovers (100 followers special)
chan | minho | changbin | hyunjin | jisung | felix | seungmin | jeongin

"i thought you wouldn't come to my exhibit," you heard hyunjin as he approached you. you didn't look at him, too stared into one of his paintings. you attended yet another of hyunjin's exhibitions in your local art gallery in the span of six months. he was thriving, it was almost as if the inspiration hadn't left him for once. you felt bittersweet about it. on the one hand you were truly amazed by his artworks. hyunjin's attention to detail always made you speechless and as an artist yourself, you examined his works and tried to incorporate the same details into your paintings. on the other hand however, you were jealous, so incredibly jealous - you wished your paintings were better, you wished for more exhibits, you wanted to amaze people as much as he did or even more. and even though you were appreciated by local art critics and media, you'd always felt as if your art was lacking something. that's why you and hyunjin were waging a silent battle among yourselves for the favour of critics and art lovers. after all, you also used to have exhibitions in this gallery in the past.
"it's always nice to know what i'm up against," you murmured, studying the canvas in front of you. "i always assumed you didn't like my art," he then said, taking one step closer to you and pointing at the painting. "i've never said i didn't like it," "then what do you think about it?" you took a moment to gather your thoughts. "it intrigues me, i appreciate it. you always know when to stop, it's like there are so many untold feelings and emotions within you, waiting to be set free," you answered his question. it was genuine - you've always thought hyunjin's art was exceptional. "you should write poetry, yn" he giggled under his nose. you missed the slight blush that appeared on his cheeks. "is it your attempt to make fun of my art?" "no, i'm just saying that you're really good with words," "and i'm even better with a brush," you replied confidently, finally turning to him and looking him in the eyes. you examined his look - he was grinning and you noticed his hair was way longer than the last time you saw each other. you wondered if they were as soft as you imagined. "how've you been lately?" hyunjin's voice helped you to come back to reality. "i've been quite good, thanks for asking," you replied simply, not wanting to get into details. he smiled, but something in it felt off. "that's great. did you paint anything? i haven't seen your works in a while," hyunjin then asked, it seemed as if he wanted to get into details. you shrugged your shoulders and once again turned to face the painting. you haven't seen your works in a while too. "i'm taking things slow for now," you mumbled, not wanting to admit to him how unmotivated you'd been in the last couple of months. hyunjin hummed at your words, a faint "mhm" left his mouth. you expected him to leave you for now, but instead you heard him speak after a while. "hey, why don't we go to dinner together?" you froze in your spot. a dinner with hyunjin? "my treat," he added, you could quite literally hear him smirk. you looked at him, but not as confidently as before. you studied his expression, his soft smile and friendly gaze made you oddly calm. after a moment you cleared your throat and spoke. "okay, let's go."
hyunjin drove you to one of the restaurants downtown. it wasn't anything extremely fancy, but it looked like a nice place. you sat across from each other, hyunjin's piercing gaze never leaving you. it felt weird, to say the least. you'd never really spent time with him outside of the gallery. quite frankly, hyunjin intimidated you. he was well known for many people in the city, mostly for his artwork, but also for his personal charm, which seemed to do the work. you always observed him from afar, too scared to get close to him. what you didn't know is that from the first time you met, hyunjin couldn't stop thinking about you and he would always make sure to approach you when he noticed you in a crowd. "now tell me, how've you really been lately?" hyunjin broke the silence between you two. you raised your eyebrows and scoffed. was he really curious or did he only want you to admit that you were struggling? "i told you i'm doing just fine," you mumbled in response. "oh, come on, you really think i'm gonna believe you? when was the last time you painted something then?" he proceeded to ask, sounding defeated. it made you dumbfounded, you'd never heard this tone from him before. "if you invited me here just to make fun of me then save it for yourself," you scoffed, but the tears were already weiling in your eyes. you looked down, too embarrassed to meet his gaze. hyunjin exhaled shakily, shocked by your words. he never wanted to make fun of you. sure, he was happy his paintings were appreciated by people and this whole rivalry thing was fun when you actually tried to make a better exhibit than him. and since you hadn't had any in months, he started to get worried for real. "you just seem… very off lately. as if your body is present but you aren't. and it hurts me to see such a talented person lose their spark," hyunjin whispered. "why do you even care?" you scoffed, wiping a single tear that fell down your cheek. god, that was humiliating. yet your heart was beating faster and your cheeks were getting hotter at the thought that hyunjin may genuinely care for you. he was staring at you, his smile long forgotten. you exhaled loudly. "it feels as if everything i do is pointless. i don't know why i feel this way, but it can't seem to stop. and when i sit in front of clean canvas i'm scared i'll ruin them," you uttered, more tears spilling from your eyes. hyunjin didn't waste any time, he gave you a few napkins from a dispenser and then took your hand in his. it startled you, but you didn't back off. "you've never ruined any canvas, yn. i heard people talk about your art, i read articles about it. art can be scary - but you can use your fear as your weapon and create something extraordinary with that. it's just so heartbreaking to see you like this. yn, please don't give up" you looked him in the eyes, completely astonished by his words, and squeezed his hand. "damn, hwang, you're so sappy," you giggled, wiping the last tears from your rosy cheeks. hyunjin laughed at that, feeling relieved. "hey, um… there's also something i wanted to talk to you about," he muttered suddenly, getting shy.
two months later you were standing in front of a painting in your local art gallery. two people sitting across each other, both of them in front of canvas. in the bottom left corner was your signature. it was your exhibit.
someone approached you and even though you didn't take your eyes off the painting, you knew exactly who was standing by your side. "i thought you wouldn't come to my exhibit," you recalled hyunjin's words and he softly laughed at that. "oh, i'm just looking for my rival's weaknesses.” you stole a glance at him, taking his hand in yours. “we both know that you’re my only weakness, hwang.”
feedback and reblogs highly appreciated🫶🏽

Hi I'm back for now until I forget the app exists again!! As of late I've been obsessing over ratiomei, avenpaz, and castordei. Very different ships with their own tragedies and their own struggles. I feel as if the hsr fandom doesn't appreciate them enough or just completely ignores them and how interesting their dynamic is.
Ratiomei are genuinely some of the greatest foils I've ever seen and I feel as if people don't acknowledge them enough. I feel as if people try to make both of the characters something they're not. "Ruan Mei can't feel love." She doesn't understand it and that's completely understandable. Love is so complex and figuring out how you love someone and how you actually do is so hard at times or maybe I'm just weird. Ratio isn't some heartless uncaring teacher. If anything he seems like a dick because he cares. He genuinely has so much care for others and has a deeper sense of understanding others and their emotions. He understands his own very well. Ruan Mei will do what it takes to get her answer and she understands the risks that come along with it. Ratio however cannot stand the idea of putting others at risk for answers. "They wouldn't work then because of their morals." Ruan Mei always has a backup plan and knew the trailblazer could handle the bug. She didn't just set it loose. Again she struggles with understanding love and we can see her start understanding that with her creations towards the end. She struggles understanding their emotions and she slowly learns that they have feelings too. Ratio could help her with that. He could help her understand how to recognize others emotions. They're rather endearing.
Avenpaz has so many angst opportunities and people ignore that. "You entrusted him with your cornerstone something as valuable as life." Clearly Topaz has a deep trust in him and whether or not that trust is misplaced is up for debate amongst yourself. They truly care about and value each other. I could go on about how many mistranslations that they have and how it has messed up how English players enjoy the game. I know wiki isn't the most relatable but they do tease each other and Topaz joining teams with Aventurine says if I remember correctly, "It's nice to work with people who care about each other." Aventurine and his struggling with seeing himself worth anything and yet Topaz caring about him as if it's as easy as breathing. They're so doomed.
Castordei is genuinely so interesting because of the characters themselves. Please no spoilers for 3.1 in the comments I've been extremely unmotivated to play but I'll do the quest eventually. Castorice struggles with her existence and her trial and yet Mydei is the only person who might understand her struggle in his own way. Imagine just being able to end lives with a simple touch and having someone who cannot die and has probably had attempts on his life by others. She probably craves being held by another human but due to her ability she cannot but then there's Mydei and flipping everything she's known. Imagine being so lonely and being touch starved and meeting someone you couldn't kill. I feel like Mydei could just feel understood with her and he could talk about everything he's witnessed. She's a good listener and she's just so welcoming even though if you get too close you could die. It's a bit more fluffy especially when you head canon that Mydei builds up an immune system to it. He can get closer than others can because he's not going to die. It'll probably just be like falling asleep.
Holy yap anyways I promise I'll at least try to be more active and if you've made it this far thank you for listening to my insanity. Bye bye!!

hello! could you write a lee!han fic where he keeps getting upset bc his hyungs only tickle the rest of the maknae line, but they just thought the didn’t really like tickling and once they realize what’s going on they make up for all the lost time? 🥺 I just thought this would be so cute
Okay so first of all, I am so sorry for this being so late. I was unmotivated 😭😭
Also, this request is absolutely adorable!!
Lee: Han
Ler: SKZ

Han was sulking in his room. He couldn’t believe everyone was getting tickled except him. Yesterday Felix was wrecked because he acted “too cute for his own good”. Before that, Seungmin and Jeongin were wrecked because they refused to do the dishes after losing to rock paper scissors. Now that Han thought about it, all his hyungs had been tickled at least once in the last week as well. Everyone in Stray Kids except for him. It was as if they knew he liked it and weren’t doing it to tease him. The only way to get them to tickle him was to tickle them first.
_____________________________________________________________
When he finally came out of his room, he saw Chan sitting on the couch in the living room.
“Perfect,” he thought to himself
“Hi, Han,” Chan said, delighted to see the younger
“Hey, hyung,” Han replied as he poked the older’s side.
“Aahaha”
Han’s jaw dropped as Chan went back to looking at his phone, not desiring to get revenge. Now he was sure that the others were aware of his tickling obsession and were purposely avoiding tickling him because they knew he liked it.
Han couldn’t help but start crying. The tears began falling, and he couldn’t stop them. He covered his face and ran back to his room, embarrassed.
Chan, was worried about the younger and gathered the others to comfort him.
“He’s probably had a long week. Schedules are so busy right now. Even I’m stressed.” Changbin said, sympathetically
Han jumped when he heard a knock at his door. He reluctantly went to the door, unlocked it, and twisted the knob. When he opened the door, he saw his seven bandmates standing at the door, each one with a worried expression.
“What’s wrong?” Felix asked
“I-I I don’t know,” Han said solemnly
“Do you need a hug?” Lee Know asked
“I need more than that.” he wanted to say but nodded instead
The other members brought him to his bed and cuddled him. Han thought now would be the perfect time to ask them why they had been avoiding tickling him. He thought it was now or never.
“C-can I ask you guys a question?”
“Of course Hannie! What’s up?” Hyunjin said cheerfully
“I-I why have you guys avoided tickling me?
“Because you hate it” Jeongin responded without thought, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
“What if I said I liked it?”
Everyone’s jaws dropped.
“Wait really? You actually like it? I thought you hated it.” Seungmin said in disbelief
“Yeah I do”
“Wait so that’s why you were crying earlier?” Chanbin asked with a grin
“Y-yeah”
“Do you want us to tickle you? To make up for all the times we didn’t?”
Han nodded his head.
Before Han could blink his arms were pinned above his head and the other members were wiggling their fingers.
Han couldn’t help but smile. It was finally happening.
His thoughts were interrupted when he felt 70 fingers tickling his body.
“HAHAHAHAAHA” he threw his head back in laughter as the sensations took over him
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA IHIT’S SOHO BAD”
“Awwww, is someone extremely ticklish?” Chan asked teasingly
“The teasing makes it worse HAHAHA”
“Does it now?” Chan asked, now smirking widely
Lee Know, who was quite the expert at tickling, also smirked.
“How badly do you want to be wrecked?” Lee Know asked
“Very badly”
At that, Minho ordered the six lers to pin his arms, and legs, and sit on his hips to make the tickling worse.
When that was done, the seven ticklers attacked.
“HAHAHAHAHAHA” Han laughed as he had never laughed before, he loved it
“HAHAHAHAAHA IHI CANT HAHAHAHAHAA”
“Oh, you better try because we’re not stopping anytime soon. You asked for this remember?”
Han screamed when Jeongin said that. It was as if the maknae had been waiting his whole life for this.
“IHIHI CANT HAHAHAHA”
“Get his belly button, that always kills him. I know because I've tickled him many times before” Hyunjin stated
“NOHOHOHO HYUNJIN WHY HAHAHAHA”
“You asked for this remember?” Felix reminded him
“IHI KNOW BUT IHIHI CANT TAKE IT MUCH LONGER HAHAHAHAHAAH”
“Okay I think we need to wrap this up.” Chan reafrimed the ace
At that, Changbin blew a long, gigantic raspberry on his belly button.
“HAHAHAAHAHAHA” Han screamed before going into silent laughter
That was their queue to stop. As they removed their hands from the rapper, they couldn’t help but coo. He looked so cute. He was bright red with tears streaming down his face. They all gave him one last big hug.
“Thank you guys. I needed that.” Han smiled
“Aww, anytime quokka.” Lee Know replied
The members decided to leave him alone to rest and recover.
Han couldn’t help but smile. He was so glad he told the others about his love for tickling.

I'm not going to finish these, but i wanted to just post the sketches and the short blurbs next to them. If i were to finish any of these it would be the Si'ha Nova Mariah Carey Christmas album cover and the Giddy on up x Blinding Lights extreme ship art.
These are the coaches that are mainly in my head. The easiest one to explain here would be Si'ha Nova inviting Mothigan to a party, like i feel like they could work as friends, with Si'ha having to call upon Mothigan for help sometimes.
Anyway Merry Christmas, these were supposed to be for a christmas post, but i left it too late and my heads sore and i'm just unmotivated right now.
#just dance#just dance fanart#just dance fandom#sketch#honestly i should just do more basic sketches sometime#like my sketches are cool when i do them right#what i'm saying is the other week at uni i sketched a really good boot with charcoal

The 20 Best Films of 2024 (And the 10 Worst)
I fucking love movies.
Most people following me know that on some level, but I haven’t really showcased that love in a long while. Over the past couple of years I felt really drained and unmotivated, and my review series I did all petered out. And it made me sad. I WANT to share my opinions, I WANT to talk about things I’m passionate about! So I decided about halfway through 2024 I was going to do something big to bring my blog back: Watch as many new releases from 2024 as possible so that I could make an end of year ranking of my favorite movies!
Since I decided to do this halfway through the year, it made watching the films I actually wanted to see fairly easy since everything was able to be pira—er, watched completely legally on various streaming platforms. Max and Prime were big helps, as was Netflix towards the end of the year when my wife got it for her yearly month-long binge of Christmas films. My only rule was that the film needed to have a wide release in 2024—a few films had festival screenings in previous years, but I counted them for the purposes of my list. This also, sadly, meant Better Man and Wallace & Gromit were ineligible (but they’ll likely be ion my 2025 list near the top).
I gave myself a little leeway and extended my deadline to mid January just so I could make sure I didn’t miss anything I really wanted to see, as well as so I could watch movies from other years. I managed to watch 77 newly released films, and while I didn’t get to see everything I wanted to I was incredibly happy with what I did see.
This was a really good year for queer films and horror. For the former, I watched four different movies with queer themes with three of them focusing on trans folks, and of those four three were extremely good! In fact, two of them made this list, and one that didn’t—The People’s Joker—is still a fantastic work that puts a fresh spin on well-worn characters while telling a coming-of-age story! With the latter, we just got some truly fun and inventive films that showcased what the genre can do in the hands of skilled filmmakers; even more flawed horror films like Late Night with the Devil and Alien: Romulus were still really good and fun, albeit held back by some glaring and often frustrating issues (CGI necromancy for the latter, AI generated image use and a shitty finale for the former).
Surprisingly, this was also a decent year for superhero cinematic universes, mainly because they all slowed the fuck down. Marvel released a single film—Deadpool & Wolverine—which managed to be a fun crowd-pleaser as well as releasing the wonderfully witchy Agatha All Along to Disney+. DC put out two shows this year, The Penguin for the Reeves elseworlds and Creature Commandos as the animated debut of the new main DC film universe’s continuity; the former is a fantastic crime drama full of excellent performances that gives one of the best portrayals of Batman’s most versatile villain yet seen, while the latter is a decent-but-nothing-too-special ultra violent animated series. Both studios are looking to have interesting futures, and at any rate they’re both doing way better than Sony, who not only gave us now news on Spider-Verse but also shat out the three worst films in their already abysmal cinematic universe. Honestly, I think creating a six film run in a cinematic universe where none of the movies are good is an incredible feat!
But most of all, this was a great year for women. Most of my favorite performances of the year came from immensely talented actresses giving it their all: Mikey Madison, Margaret Qualley, Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Anya Taylor-Joy, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Lauren LaVera, Alisha Weir, Liza Soberano, Kathryn Newton, Naomi Scott, Willa Fitzgerald, Lupita Nyong’o, Kristen Stewart, Cristin Milioti… The Ladies were killing it this year. Three stand above all the others for me, however. The first is Zendaya who, between Dune and Challengers cemented herself as one of my favorite actresses; the second is Lily Rose-Depp, who with Nosferatu gave a performance so good it completely erased Yoga Hosers from my mind; and finally there is Demi Moore in The Substance, who gave the best performance of the whole year, hands down.
Before we get into the top 20, let me just give a brief rundown of my ten honorable mentions. If there wasn’t a 30 image limit, I probably would’ve covered these, but oh well. Lisa Frankenstein is a shockingly charming and macabre directorial debut from Zelda Williams and a welcome return to form for Diablo Cody; Blink Twice is a gripping psychological horror thriller dealing with themes like gaslighting, sexism, and wealthy tech bros abusing women (a very topical subject) and features perhaps the best performance of Channing Tatum’s career; Smile 2 is a wonderfully crushing downer of a horror film, with a fantastic lead performance from Naomi Scott; Trap is M. Night going full goofy with a black comedy about a serial killer who keeps rolling nat 20s on his persuasion checks; Rite Here Rite Now is a kickass concert film for the band Ghost with story bits interwoven, and features a Scooby-Doo homage music video for “Mary on a Cross,” finally embracing their role as goofy Scooby-Doo chase music; Juror #2 is a fantastic late-career film from Clint Eastwood that features a fantastic performance from Nicolas Hoult, though it unfortunately released in a year where the guy had even better performances; Strange Darling is a dark thriller told out of older that is incredibly stylish but maybe a bit too full of itself; Road House is an awesomely stupid remake that fully embraces the goofy spirit of the Swayze original while telling its own story, complete with cartoonish logic and fights; The Wild Robot is a great (but a bit overhyped) found family story; and Love Lies Bleeding is basically Drive for lesbians with macrophilia, fulfilling the sort of niche none of us knew existed but we should be thankful is around. I’d also like to shout out two contenders that would have been higher if not for glaring issues—Late Night with the Devil and Alien: Romulus. The former has numerous moments that break the immersion of its setup and an absolutely terrible finale, while the latter employs CGI to bring a dead actor back to life and leans far too heavily on nostalgia for much of the middle portion of the movie. Both are still really good, but their glaring issues hold them back.
Now, onto the main event! Keep in mind, this is all just my opinion and not the objective list of what's best and worst, and you're free to agree or disagree as you see fit:
20. The Fall Guy
I really loved Bullet Train and Deadpool 2 is a really solid superhero sequel that might actually be funnier than the original, so it’s safe to say David Leitch is a director I enjoy. Now, how about throwing in Ryan “Literally Me” Gosling instead of Brad “Wife Beater” Pitt as the lead and also throwing in Emily Blunt, Winston Duke, and giving Aaron Taylor-Johnson a chance to actually act? You’ve got yourself a fun, funny little stunt extravaganza. It doesn’t quite reach the highs of Bullet Train but it gets pretty close, and if nothing else it managed to convince me Kiss didn’t suck for the duration of its runtime (they play “I Was Made for Lovin’ You” about every five minutes, and it honestly rules every time).
19. I Saw the TV Glow
I sometimes worry I’m not going to be able to pick up on metaphors or allegories, no matter how obvious. I watch a lot of horror and superhero movies, y’know? Simple stuff. I worry it makes me too stupid. But I was able to fully grasp the trans allegory of this movie, and absolutely loved it and thought it enhanced the narrative. Justice Smith absolutely kills it here; the dude is great at playing mumbly autistic people uncomfortable in their own skin, and this is the peak of those roles. He absolutely sells the final, soul-crushing party scene at the end of the movie in a way few other actors could. Also Fred Durst is here, and while this seems a funny tidbit, he actually delivers a line that is so unbelievably brutal that it instantly made me hyper aware of the themes of the film. I actually passed out the first time I tried watching this film, and thought that it sucked because of it; as you can see, I’m glad I gave it a second chance.
18. Conclave
I was worried a stuffy drama about holy men vying to become the Pope would be boring, but boy am I glad to be proven wrong! This is a film that is mostly old men talking to each other, but they’re also scheming, plotting, and acting like bitchy mean girls as they try and become the next head of the Vatican. Ralph Fiennes puts in a fantastic performance here, and the film’s views on faith and religion are actually pretty relevant to me (someone who has a complicated view of religion). Throw in a jaw-dropping final twist and I can see why this film is so heavily hyped as an awards darling—though I don’t necessarily think it should win.
17. Abigail
I’m sure you all are aware of my love of vampires, especially vampires with a singular defining theme. I have created vampire OCs with gimmicks ranging from a lost cosmonaut vampire to a traumatized WWII veteran clown vampire to a former Cosa Nostra boss vampire to a vampire who’s the king of Atlantis… But let me tell you, the fact I somehow didn’t think of “Vampire ballerina” is something that will haunt me forever, especially when it was done so perfectly here. The titular vampire’s profession of choice is utilized amazingly in how she moves and kills, and it makes her one of the most unique and fun horror antagonists in recent memory. The fact the rest of the film is funny and engaging is icing on the cake, really.
16. A Different Man
I love movies that are character studies about people who are literally the fucking worst, and Sebastian Stan’s character here is a very interesting take on this. He’s a man who feels his deformity is what causes people to not like him, so he gets a procedure to make him ‘normal’… And then along comes a guy with the same issue as him (played by Adam Pearson) who is the fucking Rizz Master and who everyone loves. It turns out the whole time he just fucking sucked! Stan is absolutely great and proved to me he’s the real deal after multiple MCU projects where he bored me to tears, but Pearson is the one who steals the show here. He’s just an unbelievably charismatic figure, a real fun guy, and without him the film just absolutely wouldn’t work. How he keeps getting overlooked for awards is beyond me.
15. Megalopolis
Every single opinion you will hear about this film is correct. It’s great, it’s awful, it’s genius, it’s moronic… It has to be seen to be believed. I saw this for my birthday, expecting it to be a glorious trainwreck lovingly crafted by an aging auteur who saw this as their ultimate passion project… and that’s exactly what I got! I think every decade needs its own take on The Room, and this is that film if it had an even more insanely huge budget and a director who actually has genuine talent and some semblance of knowledge about how a film is supposed to be.
14. Terrifier 3
The Little Slasher Film That Could! A truly inspiring film, one that managed to make a massive profit despite being a grisly, gruesome splatter film the likes of which haven’t been seen since… well, since Terrifier 2 really. The plot is a bit weaker than its predecessor, but what it lacks in story strength it makes up for in buckets of blood and pitch-black comedy. David Howard Thornton gives his best turn yet as Art, cementing the demonic clown as a modern horror icon with an impressive physical performance.
13. In a Violent Nature
One of the year’s most polarizing films due to its concept: It is a slasher film that follows the killer as our POV, and that means lots of slow, methodical walks through the woods as he seeks his victims. There’s lots of lingering shots and slow pacing, feeling like a real-time hiking simulator… but there’s something so fresh and engaging about it, and when we finally get to the kills they are easily some of the best the slasher genre has seen in years. Does the ending car ride drag on maybe a bit longer than it should? Sure, but I still enjoyed it for fleshing out the film’s world a bit more while hammering home the themes. I think this might be one of the only slasher movies I could reasonably call a genuine work of art.
12. Deadpool & Wolverine
I’ll be the first to admit this is not a great movie; the story is basically nonexistent and everything that happens seems to be contrivances that exist so that Reynolds and Jackman can bounce off each other. But this isn’t a bad thing! Jackman wisely brings his A-game when he could have easily half-assed this role at this point, and Reynolds manages to squeeze out a few solid emotional moments from Wade Wilson. And while the film is a terrible sequel to the first two Deadpool movies, it is a wonderful Deadpool themed meta-commentary and tribute to the Fox Marvel films of the 2000s, movies that tended to suck ass and that most would find unworthy of respect. Not this film; it brings back characters like Johnny Storm and Elektra and uses them in fresh and funny ways that will make you feel at least a little something for that era of superhero cinema. This is a fun fanservice fest—and the perfect demonstration of why we don’t need any more after it, because they could never be as good as this.
11. Wicked
Yes, the lighting is bad and the direction isn’t exactly anything special. Let’s not give Jon M. Chu any credit for why this film is so high up. No, it is the absolutely stellar cast that carries this film, with Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande knocking it out of the park in their roles as Elphaba and Glinda. Their developing friendship feels sweet and genuine, and their songs all hit as hard as they should, with the “Defying Gravity” sequence easily being one of the year’s highlights despite the sun’s best efforts at ruining the moment. It’s just nice to see a fun, colorful, campy fantasy musical get this big. We need more like this.
10. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga
It’s nice to see the world of Mad Max expanded and it’s even better to see how Furiosa became the woman she was in Fury Road, but the real star of the show here is Chris Hemsworth as Dementus. It is mind-boggling how good an actor he is when he gets to let loose, and this might genuinely be the best performance of his career. Just a damn good film, but what else can you expect from Miller? Its biggest flaw is it just isn’t as good as Fury Road—but what movie even is?
9. Transformers One
The trailers for this movie didn’t look particularly good, and the Transformers franchise had long lost any goodwill in my eyes, so this was a movie I fully expected to fly under my radar. But then along came a Twitter user who did nothing but hype this film up to the high heavens, and so I had to give it a shot… and boy am I glad I did, because this is easily the best animated movie I saw last year (I did not get a chance to see Flow or Memoirs of a Snail, which I’m sure are better movies). For the second time in the year Chris Hemsworth pulled off a shockingly great performance, but this was truly Brian Tyree Henry’s film; his performance as D-16 AKA Megatron is genuinely fucking amazing. He truly manages to sell the future Decepticon's fall from grace and make it believable while also managing to sell the friendship between him and Optimus before it all goes to shit. Easily the best film in the entire franchise so far.
8. Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Family films really didn’t get better than this one this year, a feat that is monumentally impressive when you remember this is the second sequel to a movie based off of a video game and that easily clears both of its predecessors. It is paced like its title character and isn’t quite as funny as the last two, but it’s much more tightly plotted, the action is incredible, and best of all the emotional story beats it pullls off with Shadow and his tragic backstory hit just as hard as they should. As perfect as Shadow is, the movie wouldn’t be half as good without Eggman and his interactions with Gerald Robotnik; Jim Carrey, the man who once refused to do sequels, managed to give two of the best performances of his career in one film, delivering a fantastic character arc with Ivo and his toxic yaoi with Agent Stone as well as the zaniness-masking-depravity of Gerald. An utter joy of a film, a joy only compounded when a certain song kicked in at the finale and my daughter turned to me with a big, excited grin. You can’t buy an experience like that.
7. Anora
You know all those movies about hookers with a heart of gold like Pretty Women, these live-action fairy tales where a sex worker is swept off their feet and saved from their situation by a rich guy who loves them? Well, this is the antithesis to those, a dark and realistic take on those very stories that still manages to be very funny thanks to strong performances across the board and excessive amounts of profanity. If Demi Moore wasn’t in the running, I would be throwing my full support to Mikey Madison for Best Actress, because she rules in this.
6. Heretic
I really, really love Hugh Grant. I love how he’s taken his charming leading man image and used it to play sleazy, conniving villains, weaponizing his established charisma to play the nastiest guys imaginable. And let me tell you, his performance here had me sympathizing with fucking Mormons. I think maybe the movie goes on a bit too long for its own good—there’s a point where I was thinking “Ok, I get it, can we please just wrap it up?”--but the fact this is so high on my list should tell you that I don’t think that really holds it back much.
5. Challengers
Tennis is not anything I give a shit about, but for the duration of this movie it was the actual coolest thing in the world. This is the tale of the world’s three most toxic people, and the ultimate tennis match that will decide their destiny all with the backstory of what led to that match woven in. Zendaya cemented herself as one of my favorite actors with this film, the cinematography is genuinely insane (there is a fucking tennis ball POV sequence!!!!), and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross deliver one of their best scores yet… Why isn’t this film drowning in Oscars? How did it get snubbed this badly?
4. Nosferatu
Robert Eggers might be the greatest modern horror director. He has an impeccable sense of style, an attention to detail when it comes to historical accuracy that is genuinely insane, and the ability to always get the best cast imaginable for his films. Bill Skarsgård is unrecognizable as Orlok, a role that manages to surpass Pennywise in sheer vile wickedness, but it is in fact Lily Rose-Depp who gives the greatest performance of the film. She is truly the heart and soul of this movie, and showcases the sort of acting talent her father wishes he still possessed. This might be the first horror remake since the 80s that manages to surpass the original, though with that said there aren’t many surprises here. It knows how good the original story is, and doesn’t change too much. What it does add is crucial to the plot, though, especially showing us Orlok’s penis.
3. Dune: Part Two
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first Dune. I liked it well enough, but it felt like a whole lot of setting up and not enough delivering. Well, guess what? This film delivered. Oh fucking boy did it deliver. Austin Butler debuts as Feyd-Rautha, one of the most badass and bloodthirsty villains ever put to film, and despite not getting the winged panties Sting had manages to steal the show and leave a lasting impression despite his brief screentime. But even better than that—but only by a little—is Timothee Chalamet’s Paul’s journey from a desperate hero trying to survive into a full-blown dark messiah who buys into his own hype and whips his followers into a frenzy. It is genuinely chilling seeing what he becomes, and it has me excited where the third and final film will take him. Also Christopher Walken is here. And worms. I really love big worms and Walken.
2. The Substance
People have tried so hard to apply deep meaning to this film and say it has complex moral themes. And sure, it does have strong morals and themes, but let’s not kid ourselves here: This is an R-rated Goosebumps episode. And that’s why it’s fucking amazing. It’s gross, it’s gory, it’s nasty, it’s ridiculous, it’s cartoonish, and it features Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley going all out with their performances. This film has one of the best third acts of the year, because while it does drag on quite a bit it continually gets crazier and crazier. This would easily take my top spot, but there’s one film that’s even better...
1. Hundreds of Beavers
I did not know what to expect when watching this. After hearing so many online reviewers like Schafrillas and YMS rave about it, I definitely was uncertain that I’d find this to be quite as good as the hype would lead me to believe. But let me tell you, to say this film surpassed my expectations is an understatement. This is the funniest film I have ever seen in my life. This is a black and white (mostly) silent film comedy that showcases such a joy and appreciation for the art of film, a movie that oozes charm from every pore. It genuinely needs to be seen to be believed. It has one of the best protagonist journeys from nobody to badass I've ever seen, and it features some of the funniest gags I've ever witnessed. My daughter walked over when she heard me laughing, started watching, and laughed her ass off at the movie too. Genuinely a masterpiece.
Go. Go watch it. It’s free on Prime Video, it’s free on Tubi, stop fucking reading this, go and watch Hundreds of Beavers, and then come back here. It’s fine, I’ll wait.
Alright, now that you’ve seen peak cinema, it’s time to talk about the dogshit.
Even with watching so many movies this year, I surprisingly enjoyed most of them. Sequels I expected to despise like Moana 2 and MaXXXine ended up being decent but heavily flawed, cartoon slop I thought would be irredeemable crap like Thelma the Unicorn and The Garfield Movie ended up being surprisingly decent and surprisingly mid respectively, and Madame Web was perhaps the funniest piece of shit Sony ever churned out. Kung Fu Panda 4 and Venom: The Last Dance are really the closest to genuine “dishonorable mentions” I have, but neither of them are that bad. Like, they definitely suck, but they have enough good points to them where I don’t want to put them on this list. The same goes for hilarious streaming garbage like Nanoshark and Cinderella’s Revenge. Sure, the former feels three hours long (it’s barely over sixty minutes) and the latter ends up squandering its fun premise and dickriding Elon Musk (I’m not kidding), but it’s hard for me to muster up anger at schlock meant to be put on as background noise.
But I still saw some fucking awful movies this year that I hate with a passion. Here are all ten of them:
10. Poolman
Poolman is the directorial debut of everyone’s favorite Chris, Chris Pine… and it is a perfect demonstration of why he needs to stick to acting. Imagine, if you will, Chinatown crossed with The Big Lebowski. Now imagine The Dude is the most annoying, insufferable moron imaginable. That’s essentially what this film is. There is some mild entertainment in some of the bizarre, rambling conversations the characters have but it never truly feels like a worthwhile experience.
9. Emelia Pérez
Is this the absolute worst film of the year? No, absolutely not; if anything nice can be said about this film, it’s that it is competently made and all the technical aspects are sound. But it is probably the most offensive film of the year, delivering some of the most problematic depictions of Mexico and the trans experience you can imagine. This is basically a Mexican minstrel show desperately trying to be some grand, operatic tale of a cartel boss who tries to right their wrongs and live as their true self. It comes off as incredibly tone deaf and cringeworthy, with the transition feeling more like a way for the title character to escape her sins than anything else, which tarnishes a story that genuinely sounds fascinating on paper. Throw in a bunch of nonsensical musical numbers that are uniformly awful and a cast that has a poor grasp on the Spanish language, and you have a movie that’s offensive to everyone from man to woman, from woman to man, from penis to vagina.
8. Nosferatu
Yeah, that’s right, two Nosferatus released in 2024! And the difference in quality couldn’t be more night and day; while the Eggers film is a stylish remake that tells the familiar story with enough of the director’s own ideas to make it a unique and engaging experience, this film is a shot-for-shot remake that looks like it has the budget of a Channel Awesome movie (with the acting talent to match). The one saving grace is that the inimitable Doug Jones portrays Orlok, but even he isn’t enough to redeem this pointless slop. There are three better versions of this story you could be watching, the original and two remakes that justify their existence. Don’t waste your time with this glorified fan film.
7. The Crow
I’m not usually one to say a role died with an actor or that some stories are just not able to be remade, but The Crow is definitely one of the exceptions. Brandon Lee owned the role of Eric Draven, and the original film is perfect 90s gothic action; it’s a story that doesn’t really need a retelling. They could have easily just done a spin-off sequel like they’d done before, but no, they decided to randomly slap the names of Eric and Shelly on two characters who end up being in name only and tossing them into a sloppy supernatural murder thriller with forgettable villains and piss-poor characterization. Bill Skarsgård is probably thanking God every night he had the role of a lifetime in Count Orlok to fall back on, because a performance as bad as his Eric is would be more than enough to tank an actor’s career in any other year. Yet, even as bad as this is, it somehow isn’t the worst comic book adaptation of the year.
6. Hellboy: The Crooked Man
With The Crow, I can see why it was remade. Sure, the end result is a pile of shit, but I at least can admit there is some level of artistic integrity there; they wanted to try and put a unique spin on a familiar story, that they failed catastrophically is another thing entirely. This movie, though? This is one of the most cynical adaptations ever created. It is so blatantly an ashcan copy—a cheap production churned out as quickly as possible to cling to the rights—that it’s genuinely painful to watch. It has the look and feel of a fan film, and not a very good one; this is the Spider-Man: Lotus of Hellboy films. Frankly, this one makes me appreciate the Harbour-led film even more. Sure, that movie was a sloppy trainwreck of a dozen plotlines, but at least it had cool gore and Ian McShane! This movie has next to nothing of value.
5. Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie
You’d think that giving SpongeBob’s coolest friend her own feature-length adventure where she gets to save the day would be a good thing, especially since she’s often sidelined in the theatrical releases. Well, you’d be wrong! This is easily some of the most insufferable SpongeBob content ever shat out by Nickeleodeon, with bogus and uncomfortable grossout humor, a padded plot filled with random action sequences that do nothing to advance the plot, and a bunch of poorly-acted villains with annoying gimmicks. Wanda Sykes’ Sue Nahmee in particular is just an absolute eyesore once her true nature is revealed. I absolutely love Sandy, she’s one of my favorite characters and has been since I was a kid, so when I tell you it stung to see her time in the limelight be such a dumpster fire you’d better believe it.
4. Harold and the Purple Crayon
I honestly don’t know why this film exists. I don’t even know what to say about it. The fact that no one looked at this, a film where Zachary Levi plays a manchild who represents a grown-up version of a beloved cartoon character who enters the real world to go on a stupid journey, and thought “Hey this actually fucking sucks and maybe we shouldn’t release this into theaters” is absolutely astounding. This is a film destined to pad the bottom of the bargain bin at Wal-Mart, with the copies going unsold for years and years. Hell, it wouldn’t surprise me if they released the Blu-Ray straight to the bargain bin. This is the kind of crap I’d expect to see on Netflix.
3. Kraven the Hunter
Sony really had a fucking abysmal year. Madame Web was the insane, stupid comedy gold we’ve come to expect from their Spider-Man minus Spider-Man cinematic universe, but it also showed that the novelty of a series comprised of nothing but bad movies was wearing thin. Then came Venom: The Last Dance, a meandering and mediocre finale to the beloved campy Venom trilogy that ditched the fun and queer undertones for an almost incoherent sequence of random events occasionally interjected by Knull sitting on his ass and yelling at people like he’s Steven Seagal on set of his latest movie. And then as their final gift to us, they managed to put their stupid franchise out of its misery with this brutal death blow of a film. Kraven is bad in the worst possible way: It is incredibly fucking boring. This is astounding because not only is this rated R and able to take full advantage of Kraven hunting, it also has the perfect character to delver a badass anti-villainous role. But they don’t do that; instead, they make Kraven into a pretty boy anti-hero with Aaron Taylor-Johnson giving a performance so dull it convinced me he was a bad actor until I saw The Fall Guy. It’s truly pathetic that after six films they couldn’t manage to get even one thing right. It’s the miserable end to a historically awful franchise. I truly hope Disney gets the full Spider-Man rights back soon, because I trust Sony with these characters about as much as I trust a toddler with a live grenade.
2. Borderlands
I have never played a Borderlands game in my life, but if they are even remotely like this movie I don’t think I ever want to. This movie is what everyone who hates the MCU says every Marvel movie is like; flat characters, bad action, stupid quippy “he’s right behind me isn’t he”-ass dialogue, baffling casting choices, and the world’s most annoying comic relief character all congeal together into this disastrously bad sci-fi adventure. I guess we’ve been pretty spoiled with good video game adaptations lately, so they had to release a bad one to even things out. At any rate, this is the sort of black mark a Zionist dog like Eli Roth deserves on his career. With any luck, it will keep him out of the director’s chair for a very long time.
1. Joker: Foile à Deux
As many of you may know, Tom Green’s Freddy Got Fingered is one of my all-time favorite films. It is a troll film, a film where Green is deliberately pushing the limits of gross out comedy and sanity at the expense of the studio; it’s a film that is deliberately off-putting. I’m also a fan of the John Leguizamo vehicle The Pest, a movie where the main character is made to be as deliberately annoying as possible, a film designed to be as horribly offensive to everyone as possible in the hopes it crosses the line enough times you’ll laugh. These are films I admire for their edgy, stupid, confrontational style; they will not appeal to everyone, and that’s fine, because while they are certainly laughing at your expense they’re laughing at everyone else’s expense as well.
This film is very similar, except that it’s only laughing at you. You, the viewer, are the punchline of this movie and it spends its plodding runtime hammering that in and telling you over and over how much of a stupid fucking idiot you are. The film is half the most banal courtroom drama you’ve ever seen, one where they do nothing but recap the first film, and half a terrible jukebox musical where the songs are just there to be there and are poorly sung. All of it is built around picking apart the first film and repeatedly hammering in that you’re stupid for liking Joker, the original film and the character. Now this isn’t an idea wholly devoid of merit, especially because of the wild misaimed fandom of the character, but Todd Phillips lacks the intelligence and maturity to tackle something as profound as that. He is truly a shallow filmmaker, unable to grasp these deeper ideas and so settling into surface-level style to distract you from how awful the screenplay is.
Genuinely, the worst part of all this is the incredibly tasteless moment where Joker is implied to be raped by prison guards, something that crushes his spirit and removes all his desire to be Joker (something he spent this whole film up to this point getting back to, despite the whole first film covering the same plot beats). There is so much wrong with this, so much that needs to be unpacked. Did he not realize the sort of messages this sends? Did Phillips really not think through the implications of Joker being cured of his Jokerness by being sexually assaulted? Considering his numerous crimes and the fact that he’s the fucking Joker, is this not implying in a way that perhaps the ends justified the means here? Honestly, I’m putting more thought into this than Phillips put into the whole movie. He just wanted to say “screw the audience” without finding ways to make it fun, engaging, or entertaining.
People are going to look back on this film in a few years and try and convince you it’s good. Don’t listen to them. It isn’t. This is a fucking disaster of a movie, and you are genuinely better off just watching the first film again; if you’re dead set on watching this, hit yourself on the head with a hammer while watching the first one and you’ll get just about the same basic effect. Any film that wastes Lady Gaga this badly is a crime against nature.

The Facts of the Case:
THE WATTERSON FAMILY:
Nicole and Richard Watterson, 30s. Richard is a pink stay-at-home rabbit dad and seems to have some kind of intellectual disability, severe enough for it to be sort of a "I Am Sam" situation; Nicole is a blue cat employed with customer complaints. Due to being a single-income family with three dependents and numerous medical and legal costs incurred by Richard's disability. Nicole also has anger issues; the relationship is certainly toxic, if not outright abusive.
Gumball Watterson, age 12. A blue cat who seems to have ADHD and transfeminine tendencies (He wore his mom's wedding dress for his whole day and his contrived nickname was just...his name, occasionally crossdresses in pretend games, has feminine hobbies, has expressed the thought at puberty (voice changes, looking more like his father, etc.)). Has poor grades in school, possibly trauma-related (after his "Granny Jojo" kissed him on the lips, Gumball dumpster dove (among other, more disgusting things) in order to forget; counselors have attempted to put their spit on his buttocks after counselor spat in his hands); as his teacher is the elderly “Miss Simian”, he may associate her stern behavior with painful responses at home. Has been the victim of bullying in the past, is self-admittedly “spineless”, but still seems to have an inflated ego. Emotionally late in development. Physically unfit and unmotivated; occasional auto-masochistic tendencies? A victim of bullying at school. The school nurse has sworn deposition that Miss Simian “tortured” Gumball and Darwin in an afterschool detention, including throwing cough syrup on the children.
Darwin (II) Watterson, age 10. A goldfish who grew legs and doesn’t wear pants. Alternately described as a foster son and a pet. Seems happy with this status, but seems delusionally happy with everything in his life (led Gumball’s aforementioned dumpster diving, speaks to rats on the street, hallucinates faces on trees). There are occasional references to “Gumball I”, a dead fish. Inadequate sleeping arrangements (sleeps in an undersized goldfish tank; needs a higher capacity tank. Financial assistance for this pending approval.) Seems approving of Gumball’s transfemininity. Advanced? (Enrolled in the same class as Gumball, possibly due to Elmore being underfunded and having mixed grades.)
Anais Watterson, age 4. An extremely advanced (she seems to be more intelligent and responsible than her father) pink bunny who seems desperate for approval. Stifled by her family, but she insists that she loves them (her family often infantilizes her and rarely listen to her needs and wants). Gets along well with her family.
All three
The aforementioned will now be referred to as THE WATTERSONS. THE WATTERSONS would like it to be noted that they are currently in debt (anywhere from $800,000 to the upper millions) and embroiled in other legal difficulties (see Legal Difficulties of The Watterson Family, Dr. Jennifer Strauss, Columbia Press, 2011) due to Richard’s and Gumball’s disabilities.
THE WATTERSONS described above is related legally to “Granny Jojo”, an elderly pink bunny and the mother of Richard. Stifled Richard to the point that she may have contributed to his mental disabilites. In a controlling relationship with her husband.
There are two principal incidents involving “Granny Jojo”. The first is referred to in documents and by the family as THE DRESSING ROOM INCIDENT; it involved “a shut door that was not a ‘locked’ door”, a dressing room [small cubicle for trying on clothing at a clothing store], and Granny Jojo (hereafter GJ). Mentions of said incident cause Gumball Watterson (hereafter GW) to shudder in disgust, and he moves on quickly from the subject. The second incident is focused on in great detail and is the subject of this case.
In the second incident, GJ kissed GW on the lips when she came to visit the family. Nicole and Richard left before Richard’s mother arrived, as was customary (they frequently left looking harried, once with Richard in the trunk of the family vehicle). GJ ordered Anais to take her luggage upstairs without helping her and sat down on the sofa to watch “her shows” according to Darwin. The luggage was later thrown out of the front window.
Gumball was frozen in catatonia on the street after this incident without Granny Jojo noticing. Gumball expressed his verbal discomfort to Darwin, who encouraged GW to “forget about it” and “find his happy place”, Darwin was later seen speaking to non-sentient rodents, dollar bills, and trash. When GW could not forget the incident, Darwin led GW through a series of insulting and publicly humiliating incidents—he was forced to dumpster dive, forced to ingest his father’s bodily fluids (without Richard’s knowledge), and forced between a classmate’s toes (Hector, a 90 foot tall yeti). Over the course of these few days, GJ did not notice or report GW’s absence. Once he had finally forgotten the incident, he returned home days later as GJ was leaving the residence. GJ then kissed GW on the lips again, rendering him catatonic on the streets again for an unknown amount of time. When Nicole and Richard returned, they did not notice GW’s state and left him on the street as night fell.
The evidence as it stands:
Nicole is married to a man (equivalent) with severe intellectual disabilities; presumably he is drawing on social assistance of some kind.
GW is transfeminine to some degree
GW has had two “incidents” with GJ
Both incidents disgusted GW
Neither Anais nor Darwin expressed any discomfort with GJ
GJ does not live with THE WATTERSONS
Anais seems to feel to some degree responsible for GW
GW has undergone a legal name change (from Zac)
The principal has also exposed himself to GW
Assume highest quality conditions of all social services, financial assistance, etc.
#.din#.txt#i am so high.#the amazing world of gumball#COUNSELOR JUST TRIED TO PUT HIS SPIT ON GUMBALL'S ASS.#because its been 10 years since s2e40 thats why#oh yeah. in s2e40 they cause the pocalypse#i know canonically gw is a reality warper. but legal drama.

Taking Break…
(vent again. sorry)
Hey guys. I think I'm gonna take a break from the Internet to work on myself. I've been feeling extremely unmotivated lately. My art block comes here and there and it always kills my mood and I'm just acting like a completely bad person. I feel empty inside and I can't talk to anyone. My friends never include me in anything and leave me alone at the lunch table or just don't speak to me only when they don't have anyone to talk to. Maybe I'm a narcissist but I don't understand why they only speak to me whenever they need it. I hate hurting people's feelings or leaving them In the dark but they seem to do that to me without me realizing it (until yesterday). I don't want to be their friend anymore but idk how to tell them. Like idk I'm so stuck in this loop. Idk I should stop complaining but I just don't have anyone to talk about my problems. I'm just tired at this point. I'm getting close to getting out of highschool and idk what to do after that. school doesn't help either. They stress me out and I feel like I'm gonna fail in life (which tbh I will). I just need a break to work on myself and hopefully I can find motivation if I just change my routine a bit from the usual. (Also my health is a complete disaster)
Thank you everyone who ever saw my Tumblr. My dream was making a Tumblr account and the amount of support and sweet people I met is amazing and sweet. I really do thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I'll probably come back but idk when. It could be tomorrow, in a week in a month idk. Thanks to the eddsworld fandom for Being the best thing to happen in my life. Other than that thank you for reading this and I hope you all can all have a good day and soon Easter :) ♥️ 🫂

hihi! can i humbly ask for a pre-timeskip nami/(fem) reader? around the beginning of the alabasta arc where the two of them are up late on the merry and reader accidebtally lets slip her jealosy of vivi.
Thank you!! :)
Too Close: Nami x Reader
Includes: Nami , Fem Reader.
A / N: THIS IS ADORABLE. I LOVE THIS REQUESTTTTT. This is pre time skip , as the request says. I apologize for it being short. I've been extremely unmotivated recently but I hope this is up to your standards :).

For the night , you and the crew rested on the Going Merry while docked at a port Vivi told you guys about. It was cold and dark. Wind nipped at your skin as you stared at the gentle waves.
You sighed contently , a puff of cold air leaving your parted lips. You had changed out of the outfit your girlfriend bought for you and into something warmer for the night. You thought of all of the events that happened prior to you and your crew.
--
"God , it's hot." You spoke , tongue resting outside of your mouth as you leaned against your girlfriend. She laughed and brought you to a nearby store to cool off. "Now , let's find some clothes , sweetie."
--
You held the ruby jewel that was previously around your neck and smiled softly. You placed a gentle kiss on the gem and released it from your hand. It fell on your chest and rested there.
--
"Look ! This would like great on you , girlie !" The ginger said , holding a ruby necklace in front of you. She closed her right eye and stuck her tongue out , seeing how pretty the necklace looks with you and your outfit.
"Aww , you think so ?" You blushed at her words , walking over to her and placing your hand on her own. You kissed her forehead as the both of you smiled.
--
Despite all the things she did for you , your heart couldn't help but twitch uncomfortably. You felt left out. Ever since you guys came to Alabasta to help Vivi get her country back , you felt as if Nami had been paying attention to her. Too much for your liking. You weren't normally a jealous girlfriend , but something about their interactions scratched you the wrong way.
Your eyes trailed across the waves that were glimmering in the moonlight. They were beautiful. Why couldn't you get your mind off of Vivi and Nami ? Maybe it was the fear that she would leave you for her. No. She wouldn't do that , right ?
You sighed softly , another puff of cold air leaving your lips. You leaned against the railing of your shared ship and narrowed your eyes. Why did you feel like this ? Surely you could trust your own girlfriend , you thought. But something inside of you burned. The sight of them together hurt. You didn't know why , but it did.
"Reader ? What are you doing awake ?" A smooth voice called from behind you. You knew that voice from anywhere. It was the ginger herself , Nami. You smiled and turned your attention to her. The smile didn't seem genuine and Nami could tell.
Nami sighed and walked up to stand next to you. "It's late , love. You should probably go to sleep." She placed a hand on your shoulder and massaged it gently. She could tell something was off with you. The both of you had grown up together , after all. She knew you. You knew her. It wasn't hard to tell when something was wrong with the other.
She placed her other hand on yours and stared at you with sympathy in her eyes. "You know you can always tell me if something is bothering you , sugar." She spoke quietly , leaning closer your form. You took a deep breath and turned your attention to her.
"Why don't you go talk to your new little girlfriend , Vivi ?" You spoke without realizing. Your eyes rolled as you turned your attention back to the sea. As your words caught up in your feeble mind , your eyes widened. Did you really just fucking say that ?
You covered your mouth and looked away from your girlfriend , a look of shame crossing your shape face. Nami looked at you , confused. Once your words hit her , she let our a soft chuckle. "Are you jealous of Vivi ?" You shook your head and huffed. "Noo."
"You're totally jealous of Vivi." She smirked and laughed a bit louder. She threw her arm around you and pulled you into her. "You know I'll always love you , Reader. We've been through thick 'n thin together. I wouldn't replace you anyways." She reassured as you placed your head on her chest.
"Sweetie , I asked you to be my girlfriend for a reason. If I fell in love with someone I just met , I would be breaking the deal we made when we first got together. I wouldn't want to do that to you. You're everything to me." Nami caressed your face and kissed your forehead.
Though it may not seem like it , Nami truly treasured you. You were her everything. You 2 went through hell and back together with Arlong and Bellemere. You saw the worst and the best in one another. She wouldn't trade you for the world , and she now realized she had to help you see that. Her brown eyes softened at your saddened face and she spoke again.
"I won't replace you , honey. We will see the world together."
"Promise ?" You asked as tears began to prick in the corner of your color eyes. She kissed your tears away and widened her smile at your pretty face. She always adored how you looked , even when you cried. Even if you thought you were an ugly crier , she thought you were beautiful. No matter what.
"I promise."

i've decided that this capitalist bastard's hair and eye coloring is rather anime character coded (all those violet eyed fanarts do that to you), so i'm gonna base a character off his teens and 20s (i need an excuse to insert lams in there without others knowing). how different was his personality during the war compared to his political career?
OOOO REAL
his personality generally remained the same when it came to his core characteristics, such as being ambitious, incredibly logical and left-brained, yet also very emotional, very independent and kept people at an arm's length. He also was very impulsive, passionate, and calculated when it came to politics. In his personal life, he was flirtatious, good humored, caring, gentle, and funny. He held grudges for a long time and was very good at picking up on who was and wasn't a good person.
However, I think the most recognizable change from the war and after is that he became increasingly paranoid. He always showed signs of mental illness (highs and lows, where he'd go from being super productive and high strung and in great spirits to being super down and cynical and unmotivated), but as he got more involved in politics, he was particularly anxious about there being a plot to overthrow him and/or the government, which most of the founders experienced, but him to a very particular degree where it consumed a lot of his time and thinking. He always had an extreme fear of mob rule and violent riots due to being raised in the Caribbean where slave rebellions were seen as certain death for white people, but this was a very different kind of paranoia. He was always afraid that some faction would take over the government and the people would be doomed to live under despotism.
Also, if you wanted to count this as a change, though it's kind of different, he had a lot more domestic feelings, which played into those highs and lows that I mentioned. He really longed to be home a lot with his family and kids, which isn't something that he even had access to before since he was, essentially, homeless before and during the war. After getting married and having children, retirement was something he looked forward to more than when he was a young bachelor aide-de-camp.
Hope this helps! And I'm so sorry for the late response, like 10 asks were just sitting in my inbox without me being notified I am so sorry
