California Ecosystem: Second Update (Stegosaurus update)

Welcome to today’s post on my JEW2 Ecosystem. Here are the rules for how I handle this.

I’ll update y’all when I feel like it with a collection of photos from one of the ecosystems, each one with a bit of context if needed. 

You guys can name a dinosaur in the “notable dinosaurs” section. In which I’ll take photos. Just say which dinosaur (their tag, such as TRX001) in a reblog and the suggested name.

Named dinosaurs will get their own update unless they are dead, which I’ll announce their death if I catch on they got gobbled up (and how they died if applicable).

Now onto this post’s photos.

An allosaurus eyeballs one of the many... many stegosauruses in the park (there are like.. six more to his right if I remember).

I swear they are everywhere... everywhere I look... more stegos...

Gaaah! No, no no! No! Stop! Too many... god I really just have to grab new dinosaurs for this ecosystem.

Environmental context-

There are so many stegosauruses! God there are too many of them... they are everywhere. Why's I let myself make so many stegosauruses? Why?

In JurassicWorldEvolution2 game there is option to view all the species and manipulate the light so I used that to make some drawing references.

Ofc it's just a fan art and not a scientifically accurate dino. It gives me retro vibes in this style hah

Would anybody be interested to see more species?

The four-legged, two-armed mutant dinosaur has been spotted! You can see the two tiny arms reaching towards the suited guy who is about to become a snack. Rumor at the moment is that it's called a D Rex.

Personally I'm glad to see a hybrid dinosaur that actually looks mutated! The Indominus Rex and Indoraptor didn't look all that odd compared to regular JW dinosaurs. Only the animated media (Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World Evolution) has really had fun with hybrids like the Spinoceratops and the Stegoceratops. This dino looks so odd, can't wait to see it in its full weird glory.

So i’m working on something that I’m SUPER DUPER excited to share publicly. YES ITS FANFICTION RAHAGAHGH—Ahem!

Basically, this is a Camp Cretaceous rewrite in which Dave and Roxie get stranded on the island with the kiddos.

So obviously they’re all gonna be one big found family, but you know I have to explore some romantic subplots as well. The romantic pairings will be as follows:

Dave/Roxie (you know I had to)

Ben/Kenji (the sillies)

Sammy/Yaz (obviously)

Darius/Brooklynn (love them)

So here’s a lil sneak peek at the first chapter! It’s not posted yet (i’m waiting for my beta readers to look at it and college apps are kicking my ass) BUT it is on its way!! Stay tuned….

A herd of Sinoceratops migrating.

Similar situation but with Pachycephalosauruses instead.

Environmental context-

Recent Developments in the ecosystem include a series deaths at the one of spawns (which I removed for efficiency sake), and dinosaurs beginning to intermingle as they migrate to new areas of the map.

Notable dinosaurs-

SPC-012: A spectacular Spinoceratops who has one two battle both ending in the deaths of her opponents. She did loose a fight with a stegosaurus soon after this picture was taken, but she lived!
