So I was bad and hadn't touched this quilt in like two months (I thought January was so far away and I had so much time before my friend's baby was born... but yeah... he was born a couple weeks ago... my bad).

But the quilt top is done!

Just need to sandwich it, quilt it, and sew the binding!

This spectacular Stegosaurus…

🦴 measures 11.5 ft (3.5 m) tall and 27 ft (8.2 m) long. 🦴 is mounted in a defensive pose, with its spiked tail raised in the air. 🦴 lived 150 million years ago in what’s now the western U.S.

Thought to be the largest and one of the most complete Stegosaurus specimens ever uncovered, Apex is now on view in the Museum’s Kenneth C. Griffin Exploration Atrium. This exhibit is included with any admission.

Thought it would take me months to knit this, but I underestimated the power of hyperfixation when you’re virtually housebound and work like 2 hours a day, so I made it in 15 days instead. Once it’s done blocking, I’ll have a sweater I made!! In the middle of a never ending heat wave! Yay!

I noticed the old/original version of this piece got some retweets recently and I haven’t posted to Tumblr in awhile, and it’s a pretty good time to dust off my account.

I call this piece “Butterfly Effect” because I just couldn’t resist that title no matter how hard I tried.
