Is it just me, or was anyone else wondering why Sammy’s family isn’t speaking to her anymore? It can’t be because she’s gay, I mean her dad was clearly happy when he saw Sammy with Yaz, plus Yaz stayed on the ranch with them for a while. We saw it in the time skip at the end of JWCC. I was hoping at some point it’d be mentioned a little more but it wasn’t. I hope S2 will bring it up a little more, but it really makes you wonder.

Also. Darius was so sassy in this. I lowkey stan him and want more. His facial expressions were priceless as well lmao.

OHHH JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE FULL EXTENT OF HIS EVIL THROUGHOUT THE BOOK!! Yes, believe it or not, he manages to escalate even from this point!! He’s such a good villain, in that he’s fantastic at being evil. He’s plotting and scamming and covering up mistake after mistake but deep down all he really wants is more money. No matter what else it might cost. And in a lot of ways, that’s more realistic than the blinded idealist of the film. And and it’s definitely not a case of Hammond being misunderstood. Nah, this guy is not good and he doesn’t seem to want to be. He just wants to be rich and reign over his dinosaur kingdom while watching the profits grow!

Jurassic Park is trending which means I can talk about the best part of the book which is that the dinosaur reveal happens during a business meeting which I feel is the most Jurassic Park thing that could happen.
