Started reading The Lost World and obsessed with how Michael Crichton unintentionally made Ian Malcolm hotter by very clearly killing him off before bringing him back for the next book.

Like the fact that Malcolm got to say “I told you so” before experiencing the ultimate result of his Chaos Theory…. AND THEN still living to tell the tale!?!?

and his complete disdain for dinosaurs just ties it all together. Yeah, getting killed by a T rex is a pretty good reason to not like dinosaurs!

(Tbf, Jurassic Park is also the most believable universe for a character to come back to life, since, yk, extinction isn’t even permanent)

Just Watched Jurassic Park (spoilers)

1. I felt really sad at the end because the old guy who just wanted to make a cool dino zoo that everyone could access had his beautiful dreams turn into nightmares.

2. They probably should have stuck with herbivores, lol.

3. (spoiler) The Lesbian dinos fucked so hard that they got each other pregnant!! Iconic. Clever girls!

JWCT SPOILERS

Is it just me, or was anyone else wondering why Sammy’s family isn’t speaking to her anymore? It can’t be because she’s gay, I mean her dad was clearly happy when he saw Sammy with Yaz, plus Yaz stayed on the ranch with them for a while. We saw it in the time skip at the end of JWCC. I was hoping at some point it’d be mentioned a little more but it wasn’t. I hope S2 will bring it up a little more, but it really makes you wonder.

Also. Darius was so sassy in this. I lowkey stan him and want more. His facial expressions were priceless as well lmao.

Jurassic Park is trending which means I can talk about the best part of the book which is that the dinosaur reveal happens during a business meeting which I feel is the most Jurassic Park thing that could happen.
