𝐓𝐄𝐊𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝟖 | 𝐉𝐈𝐍 𝐊𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐌𝐀 & 𝐉𝐔𝐍 𝐊𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐌𝐀 | 𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐎𝐍
"𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿... 𝗱𝗼 𝗶 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲?"
How I love this reunion, one of my favorite moments in the entire saga. Until that point Jin was actually willing to die along with Kazuya, he was willing to sacrifice himself for his mistakes, thinking that he neither deserved nor had the right to live.
But his mother arrives and radically changes Jin's way of thinking. He did a lot of damage with his war, that is undeniable but always complaining is not going to solve anything.
Pd. Sorry for being away, I've been busy but I'm back to continue bringing you more content from this beautiful fighting saga. Thanks for reading!

5, 12, 13, 18, 20 and 23 for our ms. Kazama :)
Character ask game!💫
5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about them? The obvious one would be Landscape Under the Ghost-Kaminano but one I really adore is Gustav Holst's Venus, the Bringer of Peace which was suggested to me by @novatheastropirate as a Jun vibes piece of music and I cosign and love it so much!!
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character? Hmm the first one that comes to mind, that I'm reminded of due to those gifs I just made, is that Jun's fuckass bird functions as a kind of 'familiar' and she's able to see through its eyes. I feel like that's kinda implied since she has an awareness of what's going on in the world despite her coma. Plus it's literally made of some kinda energy of unknown origin that she seems able to absorb so why not, really.
13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot? Literally all the tree/flower/bird emojis. I feel in my heart she'd find them so endearing.
18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire? Jin. There's no way he was a planned baby but she loved him so much regardless, did a great job raising him and instilling him with a moral code and gentleness that reflects her own, and even after believing her dead for years he still tries to follow what she'd want, and she is clearly very proud of him. Their positive relationship is very important to me. And also, that part when she told him that not taking care of yourself hurts those who love you? Very important message for us all in general. There's an underrated care and wisdom that's universally applicable in that scene that I absolutely adore.
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter? I am 100% on board the Jun/Anna besties train I think the potential their friendship could have is fucking amazing.
23. Favorite picture of this character? My icon babey
#scalproie#asks#thanks for sending dam!#23 reminded me i should do another pic edit spam soon#stay tuned for that

Bandai S.H.Figuarts Jin Kazama (TEKKEN 8)
Introduction:
Bandai S.H.Figuarts (SHF) is a popular line of high quality collectable figures made by Bandai. The toyline debuted in 2008 and is targeted towards the adult fans of the series with its higher price and show-accurate detailing of the figurines. The line started in Kamen Rider THE NEXT series and has expanded to many franchises including TEKKEN 8. The review is going to discuss on Jin Kazama, he was given with a red and white colored boxart. With visible window plastic, we can see the figure contents. The front part was printed with large promotional photo of SHF Jin Kazama and small "TEKKEN 8" logo below the photo. While the window was printed with "S.H.Figuarts Jin Kazama". The box also has printed Bandai, Bandai Namco and Tamashii Nations as well as hologram sticker logos. While the back part is mostly shown the figure's promotional photos showing how the figure works and warning with several informations in Japanese.
Contents:
Jin comes with his main figure, he's included with 3 interchangeable head sculpts in total and 4 pair of hands in total. His background paper inside the box is a diorama stage of Yakushima.
Jin is a muscular young man of Japanese ethnicity. He has black hair that spikes at the back of his head like his father Kazuya Mishima. He also sports a fringe like his mother, Jun Kazama. Jin's face also strongly resembles his mother's. One of Jin's most prominent aspects is the black tattoo-like mark on his left shoulder, a mark that Devil branded onto him. Unlike, the Storm Collectibles I used to review, this Jin is wearing black and white jackets which has wing motive with black, white and red trims. Inside his jacket there's a red color part while his main shirt is grey. He is donning wearing white colored belt with long straps, black pants and black boots. His gauntlets are also there but, in red and white color still has Mishima style's triangular pattern of metallic studs on the back of the hands, resembling his father's gloves. I gotta say, in terms of design and physical appearance he felt a bit chunky on his torso but barely visible but, unlike Storm his face is actually spot on to how he looks in the game.
His articulation points consisted movable head, torso, arms, double jointed elbow, wrists, legs with thigh, double jointed knee, ankles and tiptoe part. His white straps belt has removable part which I think it's kinda unnecessary but, I somehow understand it's for safety posing instead of accidentally breaking it. His gauntlets has movable cut which you can rotate them. His getup are mostly sculpted on his overall body and some parts were done with soft rubber. But, despite that several articulations can be hindered by those getup which kinda bother.
Jin was included with 3 head sculpts (HS) in total, first would be his standard serious expression. Second HS is his angry expression with open mouth and the last one is the same standard serious expression but, his eyes are looking to the left. Yeah, the purpose of these expressions are for recreating how he expressed himself in the game. His head and hairs are single mold and made from hard materials excluding his bangs which made from soft rubber... So, you don't need to worry on breaking his fringe if you're being careless. I gotta admit, Bandai nailed this one. Jin looks exactly like how he was portrayed in the TEKKEN 8 game. You can tell Jin definitely has his mother looks except his spiky backward hairstyle and that bold eyebrows that resembles his father. (Kazuya Mishima)
Jin comes with 4 pair of hands in total, that would be: fisted hands which was already attached to his main figure, 2 finger gesture hands. Open splayed and open palm hands for his necessary battle poses. His hands were made from hard plastic material like his overall body. These hands are more than enough to recreate Jin's iconic poses and even his move lists. I gotta admit, it's very similar to what Storm included for him.
His diorama stage was a printed of the Yakushima background which split into 2 part, you're going to need a paper clip to merge that paper. Yakushima is home of the Kazama Clan, and birthplace of Jun Kazama and Jin Kazama. A fitting background for both mother and son, also Xiaoyu if you want to recreate Xiaoyu VS Jin. That if Bandai made SHF Ling Xiaoyu someday....
Thoughts:
While Jin is not my first SHF figure collection but, I personally think his mobility is pretty good as SHF standard but, he lacks some SHF old passion which used to put detailed shading paintapp. If you compared the figure with the actual game artwork render you'll see he lacked some paintapp details but, most people won't even bother with this kind of details which I'm sort of understand that bandai seen this so decided to lower the cost work but, they also doubling the price. While recreating several poses can be easy but, he felt very fragile especially his armpit and crotches joints. As for accessories, It'd be better if they also give him a devil jin face but, I'm guessing they'd probably make a stand alone Devil Jin figure which he has entirely different design from normal Jin. But, my wishlists are Jun Kazama and Ling Xiaoyu for Jin and that... If Bandai still making more TEKKEN line-up. However, I've been collecting SHF long enough and Bandai is known for their inconsistencies which they usually tends to discontinue their line-up so soon so, I nolonger expecting much from them.

sorry for the Tekken sperging
if you want to have an idea of how much japanese game developer hate women, just look into Tekken tbh
there is no female character beyond 25 years old
since there's been a 15 years old gap between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3, and while ALL the male characters who were in Tekken were allowed to get old (Heihachi, Lei, the Laws (father & son), Kazuya, etc.) AND still got included in the next games, the female ones didn't 🙃
Michelle Chang? she got a replaced by her "daughter" Julia in Tekken 3. The William sisters got cryogenized for all this time so they biologically didn't age. And now they're basically doing the same for the next opus by bringing back Kunimitsu....through her lookalike daughter (same mask and all) ??? wtf is this?? that daughter doesn't even have the same swag as Kuni. That Kunimitsu #2 looks like a cute anime girl, when Kunimitsu was that mysterious morally ambiguous ninja thief, like- HELLO??
glo down of the millenium tbh. rEAL KUNI WHOULD NEVER SHOW HER FACE!!!! Tekken hasnt got a decent/original character since Tekken 6 anyway.
Oh and they killed Jun after Tekken 2 (that may or may not be back from the dead somehow, but ofc won't be old cause she DIED AT A YOUNG AGE WHEN JIN WAS STILL A CHILD !!!! so probably her reincarnation, ghost or some random nonsensical shit like that)
And let's not talk about Julia tragic makeover between Tekken 6 and 7 and became a whole different person : she went from a caring, environment defender Native American to....a hyperconnected bimbo'ish geek?? ...all of this was to cater to scrotes ofc bc OG Julia wasn't really sexy to begin with (kinda horse girl'ish - she was the -less sexy- equivalent of Hitomi in the DOA franchise imo). Her character was more serious and had so much substance than she does now...
I also HATE how there's a gag overkill in the serie (esp the Mishima e.g their endings in Tekken Tag 2 aaaaaand IDC if the TTT games are not canon, stop trying to make this dysfunctional family where everyone wants to kill each other look like a comedy skit EVERYTIME, it's getting old)
CANT WE HAVE SOME SERIOUS RELEVANT CHARACTERS WHO ACTUALLY MAKE THE PLOT MOVE FORWARD??
Tekken story plot went down the toilet after Tekken 5 anyway, and the overall chara design tanked big time after Tekken 4 (exception for Dragunov who was truly a novelty I'm always a sucker for mute characters and Lars who's my haafu husbando). My biggest Tekken crush has always been Hwoarang and they made him unrecognizable lately (he was perfect in Tekken 5)
But yeah, Tekken hates women, has become shit, and it bums me out so bad bc that's basically my first video game, and the storyline/lore used to be so good (Tekken 3 had the best plot!!! Heihachi shooting Jin -his own grandson- with a bullet in the head in his ending got 9 years old me SHOOK. Ogre was sooo creepy, his Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ending is legit nightmare fuel)
I mean, even Dead or Alive that is infamous for catering to scrotes has a more attractive male roaster at this point (Hayate <3). They also did a brilliant chara design overhaul for DOA6 that made the characters so much prettier and is actually consistent and done tastefully.
Because yeah, what shocks me the most is how SHITTY Tekken chara design has become. It peaked with Tekken 4 (Jin Kazama tracksuit will forever be iconic dont @ me) but it's now such a convoluted tacky mess. Characters don't even have their own style anymore. Lars has the same tacky outfits as King (who's a luchador!!!). Also : WHY HAS HE BECOME SO BUFF??? Did he take the same steroids as Chris Redfield?? He was so hot in Tekken 6... WASTE!
They should take a few pages from Team Ninja who knows how to make shit done when it comes to rework characters aesthetic. Look at this work of art

Tekken Tag Tournament - Ogre:
"The main bad guy in Tekken 3 had to make his appearance in this game. Ogre uses the movesets of all of his victims: Baek Doo San, Jun Kazama, and more. He's quite an iconic character, and one of Namco's favorite characters to reuse in media. I like him, but definitely not my favorite boss in the franchise."
PS: the gameplay used for this gifset is not mine. The original video belongs to the user: TheInnocentSinful, on Youtube.

Perhaps there is a glimmer of hope for Asuka. I was rewatching her endings to make icons, and I realized something when Lili said this...
The fact that Lili specifically mentions the Mishimas, and how Asuka can get dragged into it. Which is VERY, VERY TRUE! But we’ve yet to actually see it. Maybe they specifically mention it because they’re planning to do something with it? Similar to how Xiaoyu’s ending hints at something they may be planning for TK8. Although, Lili also mentioned she’ll learn “Kazama style” at Asuka’s dojo, and the odds of having three characters (if Jun does appear in 8, which is very likely) using Kazama Style is... unlikely. (Tho I guess it’s possible that they could just say Asuka / her father refused to teach Lili for whatever reason. OR maybe Lili will still have her own moveset, with a few Kazama style tricks)
Of course, Tekken’s been known to have endings that set up potential stories, only to completely drop and forget them in later games. (See Eddy’s ending in Tekken 6 where he seems furious at Jin for the death of his master, but then they just drop it for... Silly Lucky Chloe bs) But I’m hoping this does mean something, and maybe Asuka will actually have a role in Tekken 8!

Ergo Critiques (Unfairly) #2
Jin Kazama from Tekken 3-7
The son of Kazuya Mishima and Jun Kazama, and the grandson of Heihachi Mishima. Jin Kazama carries the Devil Gene, which he obtained from his treacherous father, Kazuya. He seeks revenge, for some reason. Maybe because he has the most evil and ruthless family in the world who gives him shit all the time.
You could say that the entire Tekken franchise revolves around the Mishima family and their continuous daddy problems.
Jin hates his father, Kazuya, as much as Kazuya hates his own father as well, Heihachi. Heihachi hates his f-
Alright, enough. We get it. Tekken’s wack. Let’s get to the point.
I’m now going to use my super dependable critiquing eye, which holds no bias at all, on Jin Kazama. He is arguably the poster child of Tekken, appearing in the front cover of almost every installment since Tekken 3. He is notably known for his uh, brooding and moody demeanor.
And his super cool bangs.
In this post, I want to rate some of his costumes from different installments and judge them from a practical level and, of course, how cool he looks.
Devil Jin is not included, that’s an entirely different character for me and we’re going to be here all night, if I’m going to make a post about his hilariously edgy devil form.
Tekken 4
Let’s start off with a bang!
This is Tekken 4′s Jin Kazama and holy shit! It can’t get any more mid-2000s than this. It doesn’t mean that it’s bad, cuz it’s the opposite. This is one of the coolest designs I’ve seen in a fighting game. I mean, flames on your tracksuit?! God damn!
Jin Kazama usually fights barefooted, with shin guards. In this iteration, he fights with boots that are admittedly a bit too colorful. I know that he likes his blacks and reds, but couldn’t they have been a bit more matching with his tracksuit?
What I do like about this, is his gloves. It might look a bit awkward, since it doesn’t match that well with his tracksuit in terms of colors. I’m not too big on color theory and all that, so I can’t give a formidable opinion on this. Enough about the colors!
I like how the gloves go over the sleeves.
“Huh? Why?” You may ask.
Well, Kazama uses a style called Karate. Which means that he was trained to fight in a gi. You know, the uh, the uniform you use when practicing martial arts like judo, jiu-jiutsu or karate? In these martial arts, it’s easier to get grappled when you’re in a gi. Your sleeves are big and and loose around your wrists, which puts you in a disadvantageous position to be thrown around. His gloves nulls the possibility of that. But, uh, his tracksuit is still baggy.
Great design. 4/5.
Tekken 5
This is his most iconic design, remastered from Tekken 3.
It’s simple, looks cool and his belt is tied correctly. A bit extra with the flame design on his pants, though. But Jin Kazama was introduced in 1999 with this iconic design and people obviously wanted it back. Can’t blame ‘em, it looks good! My favorite part about this design is, of course, his guards. That’s probably my most favorite thing about Jin! They fit him soooo well! His gloves are top-tier, and his shin guards are hidden under his pants, teasingly revealing themselves once in a while when Jin kicks ass.
Show everyone your ankles, Jin! <3
He looks like a goblin in this game, though. What a weird face.
Good design. 3/5.
Tekken 7
Oh no. Jin, no!
Can I say, this is the definition of an over-designed character? Well, it probably isn’t, but it sure as hell made me dry heave.
Those leather pants with black tribal designs? Ew. Those boots that look like they belong in the Sonic Franchise? Ew. Wearing a studded belt in the 2010s? Alongside with those little and cute kunai accessories next to the golden belt buckle? Eeeeeeew!
The arms kinda look cool. You can’t really lift your arms, though. His shoulder pads are awkwardly cupping his shoulders, restricting movement a lot. As someone who needs to punch people a lot and fight his family every Tuesday, it was a stupid idea for him to put those on. How can he even take the arm thingies off?! How did he even put them on?!
Bad design. 2/5.
Summary
Generally, I loathe edgy characters. They say some of the lamest shit ever and they always have a generic, tragic backstory and then they are brooding all the time. They also wear dark clothes, generally cover their RED, SULLEN AND TIRED eyes with their bangs or with a hood.
But, uh, I love Jin Kazama. He’s the only, edgy character I’ve ever liked (this is a lie, i love scorpion) and he’s so fun to play as! Even when he transforms into an even more edgier character, which is Devil Jin, he’s still great.
I’m a big hypocrite, but I’m fine with that!
Thanks for reading!

Storm Collectibles TEKKEN 7: Jin Kazama (Review)
Introduction:
Storm Collectibles is a Hong Kong based designer and manufacturer of action figures. They are known for making officially licensed, high quality collectible action figures, primary from fighting game series and iconic figures. They also have the license to make TEKKEN action figures. These figures were made into 1/12 scale with feature numerous points of articulation, interchangeable head sculpts and pairs of hands, and special fighting effect parts. This time, the review is going to focus on Jin Kazama, he was given with a standard boxart like Blue Mary. With the visible large window plastic, we can almost see the whole contents. The front part was printed with "TEKKEN 7" logo with Jin name in both japanese and romaji, his TEKKEN 7 render artwork portrait, there is age 17+ that this figure was meant for those 17 years old or above. And Bandai Namco entertainment inc logo prints. While the back part is mostly shown the figure's promotional photos showing how the figure works.
Contents:
Jin comes with his main figure, he's included with 3 interchangeable head sculpts in total, 4 pair of hands in total and an electric punch effect for his Rage Art Finisher. His background paper inside the box is a diorama stage of G Corp Helipad.
Jin is shirtless and wears black trousers with a red, orange and yellow flame design on the right pant leg and red and black footpads. He wears Mishima style red gauntlets with a triangular pattern of metallic studs on the back of the hands, resembling his father's gloves. His outfit is an updated design of his TEKKEN 6 getup which the red flame on his pants is now larger with an orange and yellow tint. He wears an black with gold trim karate belt and red and black footpads. His gauntlets now extend down his entire forearm and come to a set of spikes at the end. I gotta say, in terms of design and physical appearance Storm really nails Jin but, my only complain is only his face, I'll show the pictures below.
His articulation points consisted movable head, torso, arms with bicep cut, double jointed elbow, wrists, legs with thigh, double jointed knee, ankles and tiptoe part. Another movable part is his tied belt which you can rotate it to create his move lists with more motions. His gauntlets are movable and also removable since it's separate pieces so, we can see his bare lower arms but, removing the gauntlets is useless since there is no bare hand part for Jin and his wrist joints are black colored which they're meant to connect Jin's gauntlet gloves with his wrist parts.
Jin was included with 3 head sculpts (HS) in total, first would be his standard serious expression. Second HS is his angry expression with a heavy grit and third is even angrier with open mouth. Well, you can already tell the purpose of these expressions. His hair are not removable nor swappable so, most of his head sculpts uses the same hair mold. His hairs are mostly made from hard materials including his fringe... So, his fringe may break if I'm careless. Honestly, he looks nothing like how Jin was portrayed in the game... Despite Jin's brutal fighting style but, he got better looks than his father since he also inherits his mother's face. But, this one, he's looking like a grunt man. Although, they still captured his calm demeanor nicely....
Jin comes with 4 pair of hands in total, that would be: fisted hands which was already attached to his main figure, 2 finger gesture hands. Open splayed and open palm hands for his necessary battle poses. His hands were also made from semi flexible rubber material but, thicker. These hands are more than enough to recreate Jin's iconic poses and even his move lists.
Jin is given with punch effect since he is iconic with his punching moves so, it's kinda obvious if he comes with this. Unlike Mary's stomping effect, Jin's effect was made from a semi hard rubber material and it's a little tricky inserting Jin's arms on it. The effect was made from a semi transparent materials that is mainly red with yellow gradation to the edge. Despite the little flexibility, I kinda reluctant to use it again since several part feels breakable yet, his effect got seamlines like it was separate 2 pieces glued.
His diorama stage was a printed of the G Corporation's Helipad background which, kinda ironic since G Corp leadership is his father Kazuya. Jin was never a part of G Corp except his war involvements during his ownership in Mishima Zaibatsu.
Yes, we can make tons of his move lists even some of his classic TEKKEN 3 moves that he nolonger use in his later appearances. In TEKKEN 3, most of Jin's move lists were mixture between Heihachi, Kazuya and Jun. However, I recreated this because I grew up by playing TEKKEN 3 as my very first TEKKEN game I played and Jin was my main character, although I'm not a good player myself but, I really enjoyed that old times.
Thoughts:
Jin is my very first Storm figure collection but, his mobility is as good as Mary since Jin was designed with newer body format since Storm had been releasing many male action figures prior Jin and that includes Jin's father Kazuya Mishima and grandfather Heihachi Mishima so, I could still make tons of his iconic move lists from his game easily.
Thank youu for reading!😁🙏🏻
