Headcanons for if JRWI characters ended up on the QSMP

(Written by someone who’s only watched Wonderlust and up to episode 27 of Riptide) (I have also watched the first five episodes of the Suckening but I’m not included the suckers because that was a while ago and idk if my headcanons will be accurate)

So yeah the Riptide crew probably end up on Quesadilla Island because their ship crashes (rip the Albatross/Millennium Chipper)

Chip would learn Foolish is a builder and also rich and try to get close to him so he can convince Foolish to build him a new ship (bro thinks he can get off the island. lol. lmao.)

You cannot tell me Gillion and Etoiles would not be instant friends. These two are training and fighting together all the time, Gillion smiting those code monsters every chance he gets. As a result, I feel like Gillion would become very protective of Pomme, since she often trains with them too

I think Jay is probably the first of the three to properly question what’s going on on the island, and as a result probably the first to be shown the Order. I can see her getting along with Bagi

Don’t ask me how the Wonderlust crew gets there, idk, some weird magic portal stuff? Maybe???

You think Runt and Tubbo would be friends and bond over create mod? You fool. Runt would see his factories and run excitedly over, only for her face to fall in horror as soon as she steps inside and sees the mechanics. Tubbo would instantly have beef with this sixteen year old as soon she starts ranting about how his machines are not at all optimised and how she could do so much better. They are rivals

I think Blink and Phil would get along. We all know Blink is constantly Stressed, and ending up trapped on a weird island in the middle of nowhere would not help with that. I think Blink would find a sense of solace with the fellow birb man who just wants to chill and look after his kids and try to avoid Lore as much as he can. Like Gill with Pomme, Blink would develop a kind of bond with Chay and Lullah (perhaps they kind of remind him of a young Aeon and himself…)

I haven’t thought much about giving any of these guys eggs. However, I think Troy should get one. The Federation would see him and go “oh we need to give this privileged rich nepo-baby twunk real responsibility and see if he either learns to accept it, or if he fails and has to face being responsible for the death of a child”. Idk, I just think that’d be neat for his character development

Maybe I’ll add more sometime, maybe I’ll change my mind on things as I watch more Riptide and more Wonderlust comes out, who knows

JRWI RIPTIDE EP 115 - THE FINAL CHAPTER SPOILERS!!

OKAY So there is a mole on Lizzies crew. I've went over it and here are my ideas to who it may be!

Could be the mole because :

In theory a high ranking mole on shadowbeards crew aswell

Spent time training in the Navy till he was high in the ranks only to drop it all and switch sides with one inspiring speech

Was quick to throw himself into the action and leave the people he was caring for at the Apothocary

Wasnt shown ever properly caring for the sick people

Prior to meeting the riptide crew he already had been establishing connections with the Grandberry crew

Extremely little known about his past or even current life.

Hardly ever mentioned again after making it onto the crew. Possibly trying to be as unsuspicious and hidden as possible as to not be an imediate suspect

He trained in the Navy to be an admiral. it would be well known if the high ranking officals were trained to also be a spy and drop all their previous training and everything the best chance they get to join a pirate crew to become an informant, especially a guy as large and loud as John. Not impossible but still unusual.

Literally no alibi. Most suspicious and least known

I dont think Grizzly would make the mole someone we dont know yet before every other person on the crew is paranoid and at odds with eachother on the brink of a giant fight. in any case it would be useless speculating characters we dont even know exist yet which would be infuriating but i trust it would be played out really well.

JRWI Riptide Theory

Spoilers about Queen's character and the events of episodes 109-110, specifically the ep 110 rolled below the cut

So, I'm listening to the Just Rolled With It about Riptide episode 110, and the detail about how Chip could potentially forget who he is (if he fails an intelligence saving throw badly enough) intrigued me: the boys asked if it was possible that Captain Widow's crew had forgotten who they were, and Grizzly said that it was possible.

Which got me thinking--Grizzly also said that not all of them had potentially forgotten, but that some of them had, and I realized immediately another character we've met that has a connection to Captain Widow and amnesia: Queen.

I don't think this is possible, but I feel like there's a very small chance that Queen was a part of Widow's crew and had their heart stolen, and then their undead body forgot who they were and that's why they have amnesia.

Captain Widow had seven hearts, and when she took Chip's, it was the eighth. Niklaus had Widow's heart in his hand, so I don't think her own heart was actually inside of her, which would make the original seven belong to Widow's crew. Widow has six crew members: the woman Gillion fought in the dungeons (1), the clockwork sorcerer (2), the minotaur (3), the gluttonous tortle (4), the violist (5), and the chain-angel (6).

That still leaves one heart, and I think the seventh heart belongs to Queen--who, notably, remembered something specific when fighting against the violist on Widow's crew.

Obviously, there are holes in this theory:

Queen does not have complete amnesia, and demonstrates the ability to recover memories of their backstory--also, Grizzly said the undead memory loss caused a person to forget everything about themselves, including their ability to talk, and Queen seems like they can speak perfectly fine (the "lalala-ing" is more of a quirk than anything else, I think). Grizzly hasn't said whether or not undead-amnesia can be recovered from, so it's entirely possible that Queen forgot themselves and is now only just starting to remember who they are/were.

Also, Gillion has done multiple divine senses around Queen and none of them have revealed that Queen was undead. This is the biggest hole in this theory, and really the only way I can think of to work around this is that maybe Queen managed to find a way back from being undead--maybe they found another heart, and so they're not undead anymore but Widow still has their original heart.

I think that's all I've got right now! I don't think I'm 100% right, but I think I'm definitely onto something, so let me know if you've got additional information, whether it helps to prove or disprove this :) There is a pretty good chance I will come back and add onto this later as more information is revealed, so stay tuned!

immediately riptide comes to mind because yeah i do love fnc romantically but god damnit theyre best friends. these two things can coexist, but if i had to choose, id absolutely hope they had a fucking banger friendship.

i think i treasure just albatrios friendship alltogether. im a jay ferin enjoyer (and if you arent youre WRONG) and i fucking adore her dynamic with these two equally loser guys. her dynamic with chip means so much to me (it reminds me of me and my found sibling. albatrio is us and our other one fr fr!!!) and im SO tired of people sleeping on it. im also a navyseal enjoyer 💪💪 /p or /r

this is a problem i see with a lot of fandoms, not just jrwi, and tumblr does their best to avoid doing this but i still!!1!! god

every jrwi character in any campaign does have a distinct personality by themselves, and im always going to advocate for people to see it. these characters are all fucking masterfully written and played. im so glad jrwi characters dont just have two personality traits and call it a day (though ive seen a lot of people say this about them which??? where is that coming from).

i mean, i just really prefer a ship to Add to a character than Be their character. (tangent: i am a horror movie fan. ive watched tons of slashers. if you write horror. do not make this mistake. do not be final destination 3.) any relationship between characters, friendly, romantic, hostile, anything. should not be their only personality trait. and jrwi does this shit perfectly

i love every character individually first, but its hard to not love them as groups aswell. i mean for fucks sakes the campaigns DEPEND on them being teams because its fucking dnd, but its the characters in a vacuum that really makes me love them.

i dont just love timothy rand for being part of nbr. i love him because hes a paranoid, stupid autism boy who is so hung up on his past it literally fucking tries to kill him. i love dakota cole because he wants to believe the world is naturally good, because he wants people to have a chance, and because hes so fucking relatable to an autistic audience. i love peter sqloint because hes a nerdy guy collecting rocks and his “only character motivation” was finding a log for his pet lizard. i love jay ferin because shes carving her own path, learning to live for others instead of survive, and fighting for what she really fucking believes in.

this even applies to npcs. every fucking jrwi character ive seen so far is endearing as hell and thats so important to me. theyre all distinct in their own ways and its taking over my brain.

there were lots of tiny coincidences like Ollie getting put in a hole and Chip referencing Gill creating problems for people

Chip is gonna protect Ollie from the physical creatures of the night and Gill from the mental ones

To add Chips character development is incredible the other have them great but Chips is so significant he went from lying for his own benefit, tricking people and caring for himself only to putting his sanity at risk for a chance to help Gill his entire mindset during the dream and outsid of it was entirely focused on helping and caring for Gillion. My dude wa sitting there sympathizing and trying to get Gillion to sleep better and I think that is worth mentioning

It's amazing Gillion said "honestly I feel like the nightmares tonight are gonna be so emotionally worse then all the ones ever had" before he went to bed. Plus the "maybe seeing you there will make it more ok" holy shit man

Gryphon was the instigator in the dream. His presence and intel is what led them to the thieves den and started the domino's that led to Jay and Chip's deaths because it was his intel that lead them over there So the lack of Gryphons presence already changes the entire day because he isn't there to lead then to the den which also provokes the question if the ship is getting repaired and what changed like if everything is the same except Gryphon couldn't find where they were staying and if the route to the theives den is the same as in the dream so if Gillion remembered he could lead them there and if so I wonder if Gillion will finally lie and not let them go to the den because he saw them die there.

After this eps my new headcanon is Gill is aroace

Wonder if Gillions entire view on theives was the elders basically telling him horror stories to make him more hostile towards them as well as scar him into staying within reach. Basically the elders pulling a mother Gothel

Gillion doing terribly because of all the natural ones, Charlie wondering if he's cursed and everyone saying no no it's fine like seriously

Gillion describing his perception of theives with red eyes and the theives they fight coincidentally have red eyes

the theives being strangely very weak

Thinking about how bad it would be if Chip was still poisoned when he faceoffed against Price

It's interesting that the dream was so realistic and real like Gill being restrained and having magic taken away in a way that was explainable contrary to just not being able to move like being frozen in place for no reason that a dream like this might have tried but for some reason the dream was decided to be made as real as possible

The hints that we have that this entire eps was made to be Gill centered were so clear when you look at it now because Jay was barely there she was unconscious during most of the Price encounter until Chip died and it was her turn and most of the time during the eps was decided by Gillions choices with Jay and Chip just goingkng with it. Another thing that was made clear revisiting the eps is that Chip is very very important to Gillion because besides himself Chip was mentioned and acted a lot more then Jay he was going along with Gill's plans and ideas and he was doing everything he could to protect and Gill Of course Jay was there and she was and is still very important to Gill but Chip is simply more so

The entire ordeal is a mirror of his nightmares and biggest fears but taken so real that even Charlie didn't even know the whole watching your family die right in front of you and not doing anything to stop it and having to sit in the guilt of causing this and not saving them

Gill in denial of both of their deaths

Jay being the badass she is and escaping and being a powerful figure that doesn't break crumbling to dust right in front of Gill

The amount of Price and cost references is absurd

Waking up and not excepting that anything is real anymore like he is never gonna know whats real again dude

I love Charlie's acting and making the reaction feel real. Gillion straight up having a form of a panic attack/ breakdown

Him lashing out at everyone around him before stabbing himself after hearing the knocking. he wants to wake up so bad

Him hearing Gryphon knocking Even though he isn't there makes me think that he going to start Hallucinating and his dreams are going to start meshing into his reality

I really wonder if Grizzly is gonna start making Charlie roll for madness or insanity because I would love to see that
