The Pen is Mightier than the Sword, it has no Limitations.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Sun and Moon. Light and Darkness. Day and Night.
To the few that knew of The Collector, there were even fewer who theorised that the Moon Child possessed a sibling. Or, something that was the Moon to them. They didn't think very much on it, though.
Besides, The Observer enjoys the solitude. It was his choice, after all.
While The Collector enjoyed games, wanting to revel in the joy of it, The Observer found themselves wanting to learn more about both the Human Realm and the Demon Realm, and of its inhabitants.
His first emotion was curiousity; over time, he learnt of more. But while curiousity remained his favourite out of these, another came close to it:
Jealousy.
It intertwines with love, and yet, it can bring forth other emotions too.
Gazing up at the dusk sky, they put four fingers out towards four twin stars of purple and yellow, and brought them closer together. Then, he widened his fingers, and the purple stars began to glow more brightly.
Jealousy leads to obsessiveness. That of which is an emotion he's quite curious about.
Yes. This will certainly be curious.
Besides, there still is the game he's playing with his sibling to attend to...
The mirror house brought back more than a few memories.
After... everything, Luz thought it would be good to go to a carnival that came up, free of Tibbles, so she can just be herself for a bit and enjoy some time with herself and her joyful guest!
"Kid, when I said I agreed 'have a little fun' I didn't sign up for going into a fancy mirror room." Eda groaned from behind, but Luz simply turned around, smiling.
"Oh, c'mon, Eda! Turn that frown--aaaactually, just try to enjoy yourself!" realising that, yes, Eda could literally turn her frown upside down, she retreated from that.
Eda sighed. "Fine, if only to get you off my back... I swear, you're as bad as Hooty, sometimes."
Luz ignored that. Besides, the amount of mirrors there were was amazing! An anime-like mirror, a broken-but-not-really mirror, a future mirror, a--
Wait.
Turning back on her heel, Luz looked at the reflection.
Staring back was her... from, like, six years in the future and definitely had kicked ass. And has a cool beanie. Putting her hand up, the reflection copied. Jumping, it did the same. Doing her eye trick? Of course!
Just as it was getting interested, Eda appeared from behind the corner. "Hey, kid, I'm gonna tag out now. As much is I like seeing a shorter version of myself with crab hands, I think I'll pass."
"Okay, Eda!/Suit yourself, Grandma."
Eda paused. So did Luz. Slowly moving her finger towards her reflection, she expected to feel glass--
--But instead, it was skin.
A pause.
Then, Luz jumped back with a yelp, and was suddenly aware that her reflection had a baseball bat--
"STOP STOP STOP!"
In front of her suddenly, another Luz, this one with a striped purple and white shirt and around her age, ran between the two with her hands between the two of them. "Calm down, panicking won't help!"
"Oh, no, I'm completely calm!" replied the baseball bat Luz. "Apart from the fact there's TWO OTHER ME'S!"
"There's three, actually." a smooth voice interrupted. Looking up again, and quickly standing up, they faced an older Luz, this one holding a metallic Palisman, with two fangs at the top pointing at a floating purple orb.
"...Did I get drunk again?" jumping again, the four Luz's (Luzi?) turned to the very confused Eda. "Like--did I drink much last night, kid?"
"...No?"
"...Huh." blinking, Eda sighed. "Kid, I love you; really, I do. But why is it, that every time something weird happens, you are almost always at the heart of it?"
"Honestly, I wish I knew that two, old lady." Baseball Luz replied, her lips quirking a smile.
"'Old lady'?!" T-Shirt Luz squawked out. "She--Eda took us in!"
"And?"
"If I can interject, not that it matters," Cool Staff Luz said, before gesturing to everyone. "How is that we're all... here?"
"Fuck if I know!" Beanie Luz snapped, with Luz gasping. "What?"
"Language! What would your girlfriend think?!"
Beanie blinked, before laughing. "If Am heard me, she'd say that I'd normally say something much more crass."
"Am?" T-Shirt Luz asked. "Like, Amber?"
"Eh? No, my girlfriend. You know, Amelia Blight?"
"You mean Amity, right?" Staff Luz and Luz piped in, and then turned to the other, shrugging.
"...Ah, shit!" cursed Beanie, before suddenly sprinting out.
"H-Hey, come back!" T-Shirt shouted, running after them.
Staff just sighed, turning to Eda. "You go on ahead, Eda. I'll make sure Luz gets to The Owl House safely."
"Uh-huh." Eda replied, completely unconvinced.
"...Well, off I go, then." she then just started to float in midair, before taking off as well.
Eda turned to Luz. "Kid--"
And then sighed, looking at the running figure. Oh boy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amity simply blinked, looking at all the other hers.
This was going to be a long day, wasn't it?

The Ultimate Guide to Collecting Legos: Getting Started and Building a Collection
Catching the Lego buzz with Mike Savage in New Canaan, CT
The world of Lego collecting is vast and exciting, offering something for everyone. Whether you’re a nostalgic adult revisiting your childhood passion or a newcomer to the world of tiny bricks, this guide will equip you with the knowledge to start and build your Lego collection.
Define Your “Why”:
Before diving in, consider what drives your Lego collecting journey. Are you passionate about a specific theme like Star Wars or Harry Potter? Do you admire the intricate architecture of Lego Creator Expert sets? Identifying your interests will guide your collection choices and ensure you prioritize sets you genuinely enjoy.
Explore the Lego Landscape:
Familiarize yourself with the different Lego themes and product lines. From iconic Creator Expert models to licensed pop culture sets, Lego offers something for every interest. Researching online resources and visiting Lego stores can expose you to the diverse range available. It might even be fun to learn about the evolution of Lego sets through the years.
Set a Budget and Stick to It:
Lego collecting can be thrilling, but it’s crucial to establish a realistic budget and adhere to it. Consider the cost of individual sets, potential shipping fees, and future additions to your collection. Remember, responsible collecting is essential for long-term enjoyment.
Prioritize and Strategize:
Not all Lego sets are created equal. Some gain value over time, while others remain relatively stable. If you’re aiming for future investment potential, research sets nearing retirement from the Lego catalog or those with limited production runs. However, prioritize collecting sets you genuinely enjoy over solely focusing on potential returns.
Choose Your Hunting Grounds:
The Lego hunt can be as exciting as the collection itself! Explore various avenues to acquire your desired sets:
Official Lego Stores: These offer the latest releases and exclusive sets, but prices might be slightly higher.
Online Retailers: Reputable online retailers often have competitive prices and wider selections, but be cautious of counterfeit products.
Lego Certified Stores (LCS): These independent stores offer a personalized experience, potential discounts, and sometimes rare finds.
BrickLink: This online marketplace allows collectors to buy and sell Lego sets and individual bricks, offering a vast selection and the potential for finding unique items.
Embrace the Community:
The Lego collecting community is vibrant and welcoming. Joining Lego online forums, attending Lego conventions, or connecting with local collectors can enhance your experience. Share your passion, learn from others, and gain insights into the collecting world. Mike Savage New Canaan
Caring for Your Collection:
Proper storage is crucial for preserving your Lego collection. Invest in storage solutions that protect your sets from dust, sunlight, and moisture. Assembled models can be displayed on shelves or in glass cabinets, while unassembled sets can be organized in plastic bins or drawers.
Most Importantly, Have Fun!
Lego collecting should be a joyful and fulfilling experience. Prioritize sets that spark your passion, challenge your creativity, and bring you a sense of accomplishment. Remember, the true value of your collection lies in the enjoyment it brings you.
By following these steps and embracing the spirit of the community, you’ll be well on your way to building a Lego collection that reflects your interests and brings you lasting enjoyment.

I was browsing the ‘Pedia researching ancient Egyptian words (because NaNoWriMo), and came across this absolute gem:
Ankh wedja seneb (𓋹𓍑𓋴 ꜥnḫ wḏꜢ snb) is an Egyptian phrase which often appears after the names of pharaohs, in references to their household, or at the ends of letters. The formula consists of three Egyptian hieroglyphs without clarification of pronunciation, making its exact grammatical form difficult to reconstruct. It may be expressed as "life, prosperity, and health", but Alan Gardiner proposed that they represented verbs in the stative form: "Be alive, strong, and healthy".
(Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankh_wedja_seneb)
Guys... the fucking ancient Egyptians said “Live long and prosper.”

Colli and Collector make shooting stars.
Hi! Thanks for the request!
Drabble: Star Twins' Shooting Stars
It was early night on the Boiling Isles. A certain sweethearted celestial boy with otherworldly fluffy lavender hair was visited by his interdimensional counterpart, who came through the interdimensional rift.
Collector suggested to let rain some shooting stars. Colli was on board with his white haired counterpart's idea. Colli and Collector floated up into space and made indeed rain shooting stars. Everyone on the Boiling Isles was in awe.
Colli had a bright smile on his sweet face. The lavender haired starboy was incredible happy that he could do something nice for everyone. Collector didn't fail to notice Colli's joyful expression. He couldn't help but smile as well.

Happy FFWF! Think of your favorite fic you've written. What other medium do you think that fic would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?)
I’m saving your excellent WIP Intro Post ask from last week until I have something to use it with, but to answer this one...
Picking my favorite is tough as always, so I’ll say that I think certain fics of mine could totally be episodes of a post-Endgame IronDad TV series of some sort.
287 Miles? Easy, adorable, Stressed Dad Tony and College Student Peter content. Our Family Is Unique is more of a Pepperony fic, but the section of them at Peter’s graduation could totally work as like a Graduation Episode (as well as a mention later about Morgan’s picture).
If I gave it more plot, i am another me at the moment could probably be a canon Spidey mini-series episode. A way to bring Tony back without bringing him back, as it were. Plus, as bad guy plots go, Lotus Eater Machine is a great trope choice for an episodic series.
Cat-Sitting would be an ADORABLE webcomic, though. Fanart, too. Stark shenanigans and Goose. It’d be adorable.
the war is the story of our lives would be a PERFECT Rogue One sequel piece kinda thing...you know, had they survived. But I’m just saying! I wrote that before Last Jedi AND TROS came out and materials about the kids of the original rebels and their parents dealing with their kids becoming involved with another war are out there! It would be really fun to see everyone reprise their roles “Aged Up” for a story like that.
Also, I’ve only had it happen once before, but I could totally see any of my fics being pod-ficced, because I appreciate the people that do podfics, and I definitely think my characters’ snappy dialogue could be fun to read in character voice.

you remember
Fandom: The Owl House
Characters: The Collector, Owl Beast, The Titan, Philip Wittebane, King Clawthorne
Word-count: 914
inspired heavily by @anguigenus 's post about the collector's potential origins and @weirdlizard26 's post about the connection between the collector and owl beast.
Read it on AO3
You remember warmth. And you remember coldness.
Yes… The memory of them is so clouded, so fickle, that sometimes you doubt it was ever real at all, but you remember now. You remember the sun caressing your cheek and counting your freckles and placing a gentle kiss on your forehead. And you remember the moon blowing out the candle beside your bed and tucking you in and restlessly guarding your sleep. But the sun hurt to look at and blinded you when you dared and the moon only came when you were on the treacherous threshold between wake and slumber and so the memory of their countenance eludes you still.
The memory of just how joyful that time was… eludes you as well.
And then you remember the stars. You remember them whispering your name but the memory of that name is lost, it’s lost, it’s lost forever never to return and be heard or remembered again. You remember the whispers growing into complaints growing into shrieks. You remember rejection.
And then you remember falling.
You remember not knowing at first, as the stars flashed before your eyes, as if caught in a perpetual intricate dance that you so strongly wished to join and improve, but that was just out of reach. But you remember knowing, suddenly and violently, as you become a falling star, no, you are a comet, you are a meteor, you are pain, you are destruction, you are everything, you are nothing.
And you remember being nothing
f

And then you remember games! You remember fun! You remember songs and dances and joy! But, ah, you remember a boredom that would always follow shortly afterwards and a strange feeling you could not name, no, not guilt! No, not sadness! No, not loneliness! You remember demanding they stop, because they are so wrong and their words are so silly but not in the way you want them to be! And you remember them stopping. And not saying or doing anything ever since.
You remember pets! Lots and lots of pets and they are all so small and fun to play with! And you remember having trouble getting them to play at first but you had so much fun once you dealt with that problem. And you remember being kind and generous and granting their wishes and sometimes granting them your wishes and making them so much stronger! So much better! Oh, how grateful they must’ve been! And you remember your favorite. Your darling little beast. Strongest and smartest of them all and best at every game. You remember holding it tight, so close to you that its sharp claws pierced you gratefully. But you remember learning it wasn’t gratefulness. You remember resorting to ropes and nets and walls and cages, and you remember laughing and crying and cursing and burning and drowning and cursing and cursing and cursing and cursing until it wasn’t anymore.
You don’t remember looking for it.
And then you remember a playmate, a pal, a friend, the best friend in all the worlds and more …
You remember Him.
You remember being bigger than him. But, oh, you remember him being so fun! So strong! And you remember him playing with you for so long, for so many years, like nobody ever had. You remember him helping you find a name. You remember his name too.
No, you don’t.
You remember being smaller than him. You remember it being even more fun, because nobody has ever been bigger than you! You remember him wanting you to get bigger too. “It’s about time,” you remember his stern voice. You remember wondering when did he get so serious? So busy? So… boring? Oh, what does he know, you remember thinking. If he doesn’t want to play anymore, you remember deciding, you’ll just find someone even better to play with! You’ll find so many to play with and have fun with and he will be banned from having fun with you if he’s going to be so boring about it!
You remember... betrayal. You remember resisting. Screaming. Pleading. Crying. Ceasing. You remember seeing him through your prison bars, you remember the look in his eyes. No regret! No guilt! No compassion! No forgiveness! No forgiveness! No forgiveness!
You remember being found. You remember a promise. You remember extending your hand so generously, because you would get to play again!!! A hand for a hand is a fair exchange, it would not be like before, you would not let yourself be fooled again.
But you remember doing just so.
And you remember falling again.
A much shorter distance this time, but just as painful.
And you remember seeing the unseen. You remember… him being back? You remember him being small again? You remember it being… not him? If he’s not him then he won’t be like him then he won’t treat you like him and maybe you could work with that. You remember taking his hand and you remember another promise. You would make sure there would be no more taking and giving hands and no more promises and no more lying and no more being a fool.
You remember... No.
You are here. You are now. You still remember, but it can wait.
He is here too. Everyone is here. Everyone has been waiting for you to play with them for so long.
So…
Will you play with us?
Here are the rules.

I wish you would write a fic... about the Superfamily 💖
“I want a baby.”
Steve looks up at his husband. “Tony, what the fuck?”
“A-a baby. A kid. A child.” Tony sits next to him on the couch. His eyes are shining with excitement.
“We can’t get pregnant,” Steve points out, turning back to the book in his hands. Tony grabs it and throws it on the coffee table. “Hey!”
“There are other- other options,” Tony says, grasping Steve’s hand tightly and staring into his baby blue eyes nervously. “Adoption. We could adopt.”
The supersoldier sighs, shaking his head. “Tones, we can’t take care of a baby. How about a dog? Or a cat, cats are always-”
“Steve, please,” Tony whispers, eyes suddenly filled with tears. Steve frowns and cups his husband’s cheeks. “I want a baby. Can you just- just please, think about it. Please.”
Steve is so shocked, by Tony’s tears, by the desperate tone in his voice, by the eagerness on every inch of his face, that he nods. “I will,” he promises.
The love, the relief, and the excitement in Tony’s eyes make it all worth it.
~~~~~
At first, Steve thinks Tony has forgotten about the whole baby thing.
He should have known better.
Two weeks later, Tony barges into the training room, breathing heavily, eyes wild.
“Tony, what the hell? What happened?” He hurries towards his husband. In lieu of greeting, Tony shoves a Starkpad into his hands.
“I found him,” he says breathlessly.
“Who?” Steve asks, still eyeing the other man worriedly. He still hasn’t looked at the Starkpad. Tony gestures to it in frustration.
“Our baby.”
Steve freezes. He looks at the pad.
It’s a series of emails from one Mary Parker. Apparently, she and her husband recently split up and she is no longer able to provide for her newborn son.
“Tony, honey…” he says slowly, apologetically. “I don’t know if we can take care of a baby.”
Something in Tony’s face breaks. “Right,” he whispers, more to himself than Steve. “Right, what-what was I thinking? We- I can’t be a father.” Steve opens his mouth, to apologize, to take it back, to do anything, but Tony turns before he can and walks back to the elevator.
Steve blinks back the tears in his eyes. He’s broken something inside of Tony, and he doesn’t know how to fix it. Doesn’t know if he can, really.
He looks back at the Starkpad, re-reading the emails, filled with so much enthusiasm. We would love to adopt Peter! Can we meet him soon? and He’s perfect. He’s perfect for us. My husband and I can’t wait to meet him!
What have I done? Steve thinks.
He scrolls down, and finds a picture of a tiny- literally tiny, the kid could easily fit in his palm- baby, swaddled in a pink blanket with a soft hat on his head. He’s covered in wires and tubes, but even Steve has to admit it- he looks perfect.
~~~~~
Tony won’t talk to him. It’s fair, but it hurts all the same. When they get ready for bed, Tony opens his mouth for the first time in hours and informs him that he’s sleeping on the couch.
Steve knows he deserves it.
The next morning, JARVIS tells him that Tony is in the lab and should not be disturbed. Is it Steve’s imagination, or does the AI sound colder than usual?
They can’t take care of a baby, though. Raising a tiny human for 18+ years? They just can’t do that.
Right?
He pulls up the picture of the baby- no, Peter.
What harm is there in meeting him? he thinks.
Tony ignores the knocking (pounding) on the lab's reflective glass walls until Steve finally shouts “I wanna meet Peter!”
The door slides open. “Really?” Tony says, disbelief clear in his voice.
“Yeah,” Steve says. “Yeah, I really do.”
Tony stares at him, then bursts into tears, sinking into his chest weakly. Steve does his best to soothe him before realizing that these are happy tears, relieved ones, and that Tony couldn’t stop crying even if he tried.
“Did you sleep at all last night?” he asks his husband gently. Tony laughs, shakes his head. “Tony.”
“I know, I know. I just couldn’t.”
Steve frowns sadly. “I’m sorry, Tony.”
The billionaire just shrugs. “Maybe you were right.”
“I wasn’t,” Steve says firmly, waiting until their eyes meet. “You’re gonna be a great father. We can do it.”
Tony stares back at him, and Steve realizes suddenly how terrified his spouse is. “We can do it,” he says again.
“We can do it,” Tony echoes, and maybe, just for a second, he believes him.
~~~~~
From the instant they lay eyes on Peter, they’re both hooked. He’s even tinier in person, with rosy cheeks, thin brown curls, beautiful big doe eyes, with ten tiny little fingers and ten tiny little toes.
He has a breathing tube, which nearly sends Tony into a panic attack until Mary explains that it’s only there for a few more days, just in case. Now Tony is terrified that Peter will get sick and won’t be able to breathe, but Mary assures him that he’s been stable for a few days now and should be fine.
Tony marvels at the fact that this tiny human is only five days old. Only five days in the world, and already so much has happened. “He’s beautiful,” he whispers, gazing down into the incubator. Steve squeezes his shoulder.
Mary smiles. “You can hold him, if you want,” she says.
“Really?!” Tony gasps, suddenly filled with excitement and terror. “Is-is it safe?”
“Wouldn't lie to you, would I?” the woman laughs, and plucks Peter out of the incubator. “Here ya go.”
Tony’s hands are shaking as he accepts the baby, cradling the tiny body to his chest gingerly, horrified he might somehow hurt this precious child. “You got it,” Mary says.
Tony looks at Peer- really looks at him, taking in the pale freckles on the bridge on his nose, his cupid’s bow lips, his dainty little eyelashes and his adorable chocolate eyes. “Hey,” he murmurs, voice cracking. “Hi, Peter. Hiya, Pete. I-I’m your dad, baby. I’m Dad.” Tears are streaming down his face, and he sniffs loudly. Peter blinks a little and makes a curious cooing noise. “Sorry, honey. So sorry.” He’s starting to sob now, but he doesn’t want to let his baby go. Steve wraps an arm around his shoulders and grasps Peter’s hand between the pad of his thumb and his pointer finger.
“Hey Peter,” he says. He’s not great with emotions, especially with a stranger around, even though Mary seems like a wonderful woman. “Nice to meetcha, kiddo. I’m, um- I’m your other dad. I’m your Papa.” He’s crying now too. They’re both wondering how they ever could have lived before this sweet child came into their lives, and it’s barely been five minutes.
Tony laughs, sobs, and laughs again. “He’s perfect,” he says to Mary, who has been staring at a painting across the hall politely.
She grins. “Glad to hear it. I’d hate for this little guy to go into foster care. You two seem like you’re gonna be great dads.”
The rest of the hour feels like a blur for the two new parents, the only thing solid each other and their baby boy. They sign adoption papers numbly, Tony still cradling the baby in his arms. They get a quick instruction on how to change diapers, prepare bottles, deal with fevers, earaches, and teething, and then they’re in the car with Happy, Peter strapped into a carseat, finally going home.
They haven’t had time to set up a nursery, really, they haven’t had time for anything. Happy buys them a bassinet, a mobile, and a shit ton of baby food and baby formula.
They sit on the couch together, Peter once again in Tony’s arms, fast asleep. There are going to be a lot of hurdles ahead, a lot of crying, a lot of worrying, but above all, a lot of love.
“I love you so much, Peter,” Tony whispers.
“I love you too, Peter,” Steve whispers.
The IronDad fandom and especially the amazing fanfic writers that keep hammering out these brilliant stories have ruined me for other fandoms and their fanfiction. My expectations are way too high now.
I blame especially @baloobird @hailing-stars @joyful-soul-collector and @jen27ny
