Gifted or found, give me Damian carefully cleaning a neglected old blade. Give me Danny waking once more to the gentle grind of a whetstone, a sliver of electric green shining in the space that shouldn't be. A magic blade that has never resonated with anyone that sings in Robin's hand, freezing over those with cruelty in their hearts

(Dealer's choice what reverts Danny back to his humanoid form. True love's kiss? Legitimately wanting to be a person again? A tricky situation where the Bats are stuck and he's left lying useless on the floor, unable to save anyone, this time of his own volition?)

Okay hear me out!

We have all talked about how Jason gets pit rage because of the Lazarus waters being gross ecto, or how his obssession is the Joker and needing to kill him and a bunch of other things,

Yes?

With me so far?

Okay!

Let me give that a twist,

That Pit Rage Jason feels is hunger, specifically a ghosts hunger.

Jason came back from the dead not fully, he's a starving ghost with a malnourished proto-core, until he properly eats it will stay weak and hungry.

How does the Joker fit in all this?

Easy, With the lack of good ecto for Jason to feed and stabilize from the next best option is his murderer.

Consuming that who killed you is very nourishing for a new ghost.

So Jason getting angry with the bats and others when they tell him not to kill the Joker or actively prevent him from even getting near him is like putting all his favourite foods right in front of him and then taking it away from him,

Each time getting worse for Jason, only getting hungrier and hungrier each time it happens.

How would you feel if you were starving and people kept offering you food and then pulling it away before you could eat it?

Confused?

Desperate?

Anger?

It doesn't count as cannibalism if you're not the same

🦇 - maybe that’s why you let her take you away. The thought that your father and brothers would find out you had sided with the enemy

🦇 - Harley’s back was turned to you as she skipped down the trash-ridden sidewalk

🦇 - you could knock her out right now. Present her to your father and receive his short but fulfilling praise

🦇 - you pondered your options before making your way next to Harley. You timed your footsteps to match her strides

🦇 - the urge to be petty outweighed the urge to make your father proud

🦇 - after what felt like forever, Harley brought you to a little hole-in-the-wall jazz bar in between a drug store and a massage parlor

🦇 - the place felt grimy. The wallpaper had started to yellow and the music was subpar (at best)

🦇 - you bite down the urge to flee and follow Harley down a dark flight of stairs

🦇 - the stairs lead to a bright, green door with a brass knob

🦇 - your eyes dance between the chipping paint on the door and the impressive bouncer that leans against it

🦇- listening to Harley’s rapport with the bouncer turns boring and your eyes shift to get a better look at him

🦇 - the bouncer is wearing a compression shirt that hugs his muscled-chest. The head of a snake tattoo rests against the side of his neck.

🦇 - you imagine that the body of the snake dips lower and likely wraps around the bouncer’s torso

🦇 - your thoughts are interrupted when Harley yanks you by your elbow into the velour-walled room

🦇 - as you enter the room, you swear that the bouncer spared you a passing glance

🦇 - he shuts the heavy door and you look around at the room

🦇 - almost everything in the room is covered in red, velour fabric. You can’t help but think that the room resembles a motel honeymoon suite

🦇 - as you silently judge the space, you spot a mess of red hair just over the rounded sofa facing the flat screen tv

🦇 - uh oh

What do you think of the Telltale Batman games?

I went into it a bit on this post a while back (spoilers for the ending in the final reblog chain). But in quick summary:

Lots of fun. Well worth buying when it goes on sale.

Really love how much humor Bruce is allowed. His undercover persona as a dirtbag billionaire turning into a crime lord is a lot of fun.

Bruce and Selina get on like a house on fire with all the expected casualties of a house fire in Gotham.

Harley Quinn mob boss: YES YES YES

The game really said, 'BatJokes otp <3333'

I really enjoy the dialogue options you have as Bruce Wayne vs. Batman and the fact that you can play Bruce as airheaded or cunty as you like. He's either playing Bruce as a spoiled little rich boy or a well-meaning himbo with elevator music playing behind his eyes. There's no in-between.

Alfred is written out of character at the end, and it pulls the whole thing down.

I'd still play a third installment if they made one because I really want to enjoy Tell Tale style games; they just always seem to let me down a bit. But I want to believe...

hi. here are my top 5 favorite comic moments ever (sort of in order, they can all be switched around sometimes depending on my mood)

"the son has not surpassed the father" (batman #645)

i cant even put into words what i like about this scene because everything about it makes me insane. its just so beautifully written and fits so well thematically and shows so much about how bruce is feeling without explicitly saying anything. so fucking good

2. "maybe he did. but my little girl is still dead." (batgirl #19)

fucking. fuck. again this moment just shows so much about how cass feels without saying it explicitly. theres a flashback to the man she murdered right after this because she sees herself in the murderer and doesnt believe she can be redeemed. itsfuck ignf. yeah. maybe he changed but she's still dead

3. "i owe you no explanations. i took the only compassionate option." (titans #12)

hoooooooly shit. i get chills every time i think about this im serious. adeline was suffering and about to die and kory killed her. kory saw herself in the suffering of someone else and KILLED HER. hard as fuck. i will refrain from going on a whole tangent about this but i feel like writers sometimes have the Good Guys kill someone and it doesnt really feel right, but this does it so well because it makes sense within the story AND for kory's character. she was right

4. "the last two bullets are for us" (green arrow #32)

this was so fucked up. can i call this a power couple moment. dinah has so much fucking kidnapping & torture trauma then she finds ollie after he was kidnapped & tortured and she goes dw babe we're gonna kill ourselves later. HELLO. i need to chew on them

5. "for all the times i will never forget. for all the things i can never forgive" (gotham city sirens #21)

everyone drop what youre doing and read gotham city sirens #20-21 right now. or read til the end of the book. gcs is mostly just an okay book but it fucking nails the ending. but this moment in particular makes me lose my mind because harley shows exactly how competent she is and gets into joker's cell in arkham with a gun when she thinks about how he hurt her. then the second she sees him she joins him again. its the ideal pre-breakup harley writing to me and this issue (this entire arc tbh) changed me

in conclusion i love my picture books 💞💞 i think more people should post their fav comic moments too because i wanna see everyone else's plsssss

Danny found himself at Clockworks bothering the old ancient again. Ever since the nasty burger incident Danny didn’t have anyone else to really talk to. Vlad wasn’t an option the old guy was a creep and Danny wanted nothing to do with him. The other ghosts left him alone in his mourning as well, the attacks stopped after Danny defeated Pariah Dark something Danny didn’t quite understand why but he was thankful for it.

Clockwork looked over at the young halfa and then tells him something he wasn’t ever planning to. Danny didn’t belong to this dimension and had actually been taken from his home (He was stillborn and was thrown in the lazurus pits but never emerged) as a child and Clockwork decided it was time for him to be sent back. He opens a portal for the unknowing prince and closes it behind him before Danny can ask anything.

Danny didn’t know where he’d ended up but he did know that he hated clowns, including the guy in front of him. The guy introduced himself as the Joker and Danny lost all interest in what he had to say except that he looked like this Damian Wayne kid except his eyes were green instead of the icy blue that Danny had. Oh and the guy was threatening to fill the tube Danny was trapped in with acid. Danny had half a mind to see if he’d actually do it.

Damian knew he had a twin that was stillborn, his mother liked to remind him that his brother was weak and a failure while he was strong. He held his head high at the praise at the time but now after living with Father for 5 years he began to wonder what it would have been like if his twin survived. That all changes when they find an apparent clone being held by the Joker.

Jazz in gothem

So danny was visiting jazz's new phyciatritrist business in gothem

From the sounds of it, its going great!!!

Most of the local rouges have been coming in , and from jazz's talks their getting better, she even said she'd introduce him to someone called mr.freeze who has ice powers and is a doctor danny wonders if he could help him with research, but there are 2 problems

Some furries keep trying to hack into her system, break into the building and attempting to get her to break doctors patient confidentiality, though tucker, reinforced walls from their parents and the anti-creep stick dealt with that problem

Though the option of sending danny after them is always on the table

Thats not the main problem though

No the problem is someone called the joker

Apparently he got word of a good phyciatritrist helping the rouges and according to jazz "tried to make them go back to his level" Apparently its a phyciatritrist term for when someone feels like others are getting better and they arent so they want to bring them back down so they dont have to change.

Anyway jazz is refusing to see him for a lot of reasons, the negativity and the refusal to get help being the main 2

So jazz called danny up to see if he could get this joker to leave her alone

Jazz, her clients, batman, red hood and the joker were all in front of her building

Jazz's clients were there because when they got word that the batman AND the joker were there they came running

Joker is there because he wants to distroy this goody-two-shoes fraud of a bitch

Red hood it there because he wanted to book an appointment

And batman is there to try and get information of what this jasmine fenton is up to

They've been talking for about half an hour trying to deflate the situation

After the joker pulled out his gun so did everyone else and this is what got jazz to snap

THATS ENOUGH, you can't barge in here are try to distroy other peoples chance for proper mental health, and you batman cant know whats going on eveywhere its not healthy and is disrespectful to other peoples privacy

The joker fired his gun at jazz and batman was about to try to save the girl when...something happened

A black and white blur got in the middle of joker and Dr.jazz

When the blur stopped ot showed a 16 year old boy with blue eyes, black hair bags under his eyes and he looked as calm as can be

???: you ok jazz

Jazz:yess I'm fine, danny could you please get joker and batman off my property, after i would love to introduce you to my clients

Jazz smiled at the boy and the boy ,now danny, smiled back

Then he turned to face the batfam and the joker

Danny:ok chuckles you have 3 seconds to leave befor i make you

The joker laughed, or he did until danny took 2 steps foreward and ATE him

Dislocated his gaw, opened his wouth wider than it should and ATE him

Danny swallowed the joker turned to the batman and with Lazarus green eyes that they all knew as the pit rage and said

Fuck yeah! I just love it when Tim makes a name for himself and his own place to help people using his resources instead of Bruce's resources. It's just something so dear to my heart.

Also it would be really funny if Tim wasn't only hiring other people goons. Like yeah, he's stealing all of Lex's workers, but he's also taking Joker's and Bane's and Penguin's and Two Face's. He put up a policy that said, "we hire (most) all felons. Crimes do not matter, unless certain scenarios such as crimes of a sexual nature." Which means most of the Henchmen who are only that because they can't get a legal job? They *flock* to Tim.

Tim also hires villians as well. He offers Ivy a job studying plants and green solutions to make the company better. He offers Harley a job as a nurse. He even goes to other cities to offer jobs to other heroes rouges such as giving Chershire a job trying to find holes in his security so he can patch them, Captian Cold works as a security guard, and Metallo works in some of the research labs working with chemicals that humans can't touch or testing new cybernetics that allow him to actually feel.

I am fully under the belief that a lot of DC rogues/villains/criminals would pursue an "honest" line of work if they had that choice/ability. This is why fics or AUs of one of the Bats (I am more partial to Tim, but I'd also so be down for Barbara) figuring out how to incorporate better social programs and supports to cut down crime.

There will be people who commit atrocities for the hell of it (fuck you Joker), but most of DC's villains have a just reason for their actions (even though the execution is poor).

Now, Tim cutting down crime through social programs and hiring people more so than the JL lowered crime since its founding? That would be fucking hilarious.

I would love to see more fics of different rogues getting their needs met and having options outside of the path DC made for them. Your examples are great, and I'd love more

His fearlessness and outgoing personality would really shine, and the short lengths ensure that this short king would look as tall as possible. 🤭 Swishy and twirly silhouettes also allow him to shake those hips and twerk.

Kris Guštin 🤍

That ass certainly doesn’t lie. Kris could rock long and short skirts alike, and with those long legs. Soft, delicate fabrics that drape beautifully complement his Greek god-like beauty. A sheer long skirt with a slit would suit him particularly well. He is well-suited to both pretty princess styles with dainty details and cute bows, and high-fashion runway-esque silhouettes that hug that peach of his and would make every jaw in the room drop.

Dark and intense Jan is a natural fit for equally dark, edgy and alternative skirt styles. Black leather, dark lace and mesh, as well as some bondage and lingerie elements such as buckles, straps and hardware, complement his black cat nature and his natural sensual energy. Of course, one cannot leave out the classic red and black plaid kilt-style miniskirt a la Vivienne Westwood, a staple in alternative fashion that just screams Jan.

If any of you know the manga and anime "Nana"...Jan is 100% Nana Osaki coded, both in appearance and personality.

Sunny and chaotic Jure is all about showing skin, and a natural fit for Y2K sensibilities, the shorter the better. Playful, youthful denim and summery mini lengths are particularly good styles for him, rips and distressed details optional. When he's feeling especially fancy, a bold feather mini is a particularly good fit, in its unconventional and unexpected chaos...that Jure would absolutely pull off. 😆

Nace is the epitome of a lovely fall day. He suits so many autumn-inspired styles in earthy tones of brown, orange, warm purple and muted green, touched with varying degrees of coziness, and both soft and tough details. Naturally, that extends to skirts. From fairy grunge maxi skirts, to "sexy nerd" dark academia style, to army green minis (he has nice thighs, of course I wouldn't deny anyone those thighs)...he can carry them all beautifully!

I have Tim angst revolving Joker Junior. I think joker would only have referred to Jason not as a Robin or anything like that but as brother to JJ aka Tim. Why? To torment Bruce, having the Robin he killed (Jason) and the Robin who replaced him and Joker took control over, forcing Tim to basically call him his brother. Thats fucked, really fucked. And depending on what I’ve seen portrayed of JJ there’s one of two ways you could do this.

fist more DID like where JJ is an alter in a way- you could easily have it be a fic where JJ fronts because of some trigger, (I’d say definitely not fear toxin though because Tim’s exposed to it all the time but maybe a mix of like scarecrow and riddler in his retro suit (green and purple) or something like that) and he will either only really trust Jason because of jokers manipulation and call Jason bubu. (Idk why I chose Bubu, but it seems right)

Second option - this time JJ isn’t an alter like DID instead just like the comics (or was it only animated?) where it was a thing that happens and isn’t like a recurring personality. In this you get injured or sleepy or both basically something that weakens Timmy boy to make him give up information easily, and at one point Jason is there idk where or when but bubu slips out when Tim talks to him.

But yeah that’s all I have to say idk if this is common in fanfics I haven’t read many with Joker junior but yeah. Also if I fucked up terms for DID I’m sorry honestly I googled phrases and also hav seen TikTok’s about it so it could be wrong if it is again sorry let me know or you could correct me vea the comments. Because I will probably forget i posted and forget to correct my language
