We don't talk enough about how fluctuating needs don't only mean day-by-day. They can change pretty rapidly throughout the each day. Hour-by-hour, or even within minutes!

Anyways this lack of acknowledgement caused me to feel a little strange in the beginning because there was just no representation for my experience! Even though it should go without saying, the way a lot of people present having fluctuating needs is as if they know exactly what their limits for the day will be first thing in the morning when they wake up and that's just Not Me.

So, I'm here to let you know that you're valid for needing to make adjustments to your accommodations throughout your day, and it's okay that you can't predict the future daily. Just be prepared and make sure nobody gives you shit for it, not even yourself!!

Sorry I haven't been posting much gang, it's winter and my joint issues have been flaring up pretty badly :( the only notable digital art I've been able to make rn is this and Viktor Arcane.

Physical painting is still ok because I got brushes with big ole fat handles i can start using so expect more paintings but less digital art this season. That's ok though, I love painting my little bugs 🐛

The bones hurt season is upon me, and every year I am reminded that someday I will have to stop entirely.

Not rn though, rn I'm very slowly drawing Jayvik in ballet poses in space (also they are kissing)

my main problem is nerve pain, and muscle pain from chronic spasming, due to nerve damage. and i really need some relief (please don't recommend me medications).

i wouldnt say ultra impact provides anything of major substance to any of bnha, and of course you run into any issue of arguing its canonicity.

but i do feel very strongly that it is very good at portraying the characters, like the writers get the essence of a character even if nothing of bombast is being done with them.

yes this is entirely because i am consistently happy with what materials the game provides for 1B, we got a 1B monoma-centric event which understands both that he is a competitive little prick who really would like to stick it to 1A, while also being intensely aware (in a very humble way) that he is NOT better at utilizing the quirks of his classmates after pulling off a fairly complicated strategy

Of course, he immediately undercuts himself by going back to his, "and with this we will be better than 1-A" schtick, but that too is part of his character.

Feel free to get specific in the tags :) I have a hot water bottle my goodest friend gave me and it's got a really cute pink bunny cover so it's comfortable to use as well as aesthetically pleasing (which I feel is something often overlooked in med supplies/pain relief items!)

I also have the grey cat Warmie his name is Mr. Teatime (like. that freak from the hogfather)

But most recently my heating pad has been the most practical though bc I no longer have a microwave and executive function and pain is a bitch and a half, so I don't always have the means to fill up my bottle because I'm. Suffering too much already. I can't wait to get a whole heated blanket again though! Love those guys

To my fellow arthritis sufferers:

Kinesiology Tape is amazing! Way better than compression gloves. More comfortable to wear, stays in place, and it allows for localized compression of weird awkward areas like thumb joints. Not only can I wear it while painting, but the textured surface works great for removing excess paint for dry brushing. As an added bonus, you can buy it in some great prints if you're willing to spend some extra $ to be stylish.
