okay hi it’s the abandon my diss anon but i rlly drafted this in my head as a night time delusion and i can’t not say it now ive broken through my fear of sending a message but-

we’re talking stephen glass hayden but ofc nerdy anakin (bc i couldn’t stand stephen! had to watch the film on three separate occasions he reminds me of too many ‘nice guys’ from my sixth form days n i cringed)

but you’re very friendly in the office and he constantly makes excuses to come over to your desk to borrow random pieces of stationary and won you over with his cute smiles, and after a couple of weeks your coworker friends have placed bets on how long it would take either of you to ask each other out, even though you planned on it before, it feels far too mean to do it knowing people have money on it.

he’s always sweet and respectful, (but also looking down your blouse when he gets a chance bc he’s just a man and you’re hot) and one day you’ve come in without underwear, not thinking anyone would notice because it’s a decent length skirt, obvs ani is a perv and whenever he’s ogling you he takes note of the outline of your underwear in your skirt, trying to imagine the colour/style when he’s bored at his own desk.

you’re sat at your desk scrolling through emails, when he comes over after realising you’re commando, your lower body pointing towards him in your chair whilst mindlessly chatting back towards him facing your computer, he asks to borrow a pen, standard procedure, but drops it and as he picks it up he makes sure to try and look between your legs, realising he was right, he gets hard quicker than he thought he would and excuses himself.

realising you weren’t paying much attention to the conversation, you fear you said something wrong (we KNOW what a manipulative guy he is [moreso stephen coded here], any time you break eye contact to glance at your computer in previous convos he accuses you of not listening to him in a jokey way - he just wanted to keep staring at your face so that he can perfectly remember your hairstyle and makeup so when he goes home that night his wank has an up to date fantasy)

you follow after him towards a hallway of file rooms, getting closer to where he is you can hear him whimpering and making small breathy sounds, you slowly open the door to not burst in on him potentially crying but instead you see him with his head leant back, chest heaving whilst he strokes himself, with the door open you hear him saying your name under his breath. feeling a little like you completely invaded his privacy (mostly horny though) you gently let the door close and walk back through the corridor, before you hear him gently say your name a lot louder than you were expecting, turning around you see him stood there with a panicked expression, you walk over to apologise profusely and to explain why you even walked over in the first place but he interrupts you by asking if you heard anything, when you lowly answer that you did, he pulls you into the room he was previously in, expecting him to start apologising and panicking but instead he lowers himself onto his knees staring at you with those eyes

‘please. please let me taste you’

as you nod in confirmation his hand slides slowly up your leg making contact with you being a dripping mess from what you’d seen, he replies with that same sweet smile

‘oh, and to think i didn’t know if you liked me’

People who enjoy neighbourly shenanigans on Hermitcraft! May I recommend False and Ren:

They’ve got lore (Demise 2, Minister stuff, Big T), infrastructure (rivers and helping out with each other’s bases), lots of pranks and shenanigans (both pranking each other and other hermits)

They twaddle and hang out at each other’s bases so much. False’s second channel FalseLive is filled with vods of her and Ren just hanging out. Like there’s sooo much stuff of them to binge (and more to come because they will inevitably collab again)

They pretty much end up near each other at some point in every season so they’re a reliable duo if you get invested in them. They were neighbours in HC6, started out neighbours in HC9 then did Blue River Raceway with Etho, and they’re sticking close by each other in HC10

All their storylines are so wholesome and cute :3 The famous MCC9 Blue Bats (which is their favourite shared moment), Ren getting the final kill in Demise 2 for False, Ren saying he cannot think of a more worthy winner for BRR, False’s Minister of Transport sign being the only one that remained after the Ren explosion slash execution, Ren giving False a multipass to her base, and on it goes

Shared motifs: winning things, races, crowns / royalty stuff, rivers / ravines (HC6 ravine neighbours, HC9 river raceway, HC10 Big Business rivers), flowers (Ren seems to love throwing flowers at False? Like that time he prank spammed her base with flowers. And of course gifting False her fav Minecraft flower for her birthday :3)

Ren hasn’t been in a MCC team with False after 2021 but MCC has always been their thing (Ren saying he’ll only play when on a team with False, False saying she misses Ren and going “where’s my teammate 🥺”)

Sometimes in the middle of their episodes, they’ll have a short segment of them pranking the other’s base. There’s no explanation or connection. It is what it is.

So yeah they’re really funny and sweet together :3 I also like how they work on builds and infrastructure together, it’s satisfying watching them come up something on the fly and then they somehow make their madness into reality

I'm chatting with a friend when I casually drop the information that my therapist and I have been discussing that I might be on the autism spectrum.

"Ahahaha," she replies, "I remember asking you if you were and you were skeptical."

And she did. And multiple people have, in the past. And I was. Skeptical. Whatever information I looked into previously didn't match my own experience, but I had not been informed by anyone that autism can present differently in women. And I suppose technically, socially, if not internally, woman is what I am.

I am not new to neurodivergence, and I've written about giftedness a few times, and the utterly weird experience of being somehow different from other people, but feeling like you yourself are not different at all, because yourself is all you've ever known to be.

"Like, I know I'm not 'normal'," I tell her, "but also the way I am is, to me, 'normal'."

"Yeah, that is the neurodivergent experience in a nutshell, honestly," she says.

A few hours later, I send her another message. "Does autism cause clumsiness," I deadpan. "Asking for a friend."

The reply is more serious than I expect. Some people do experience coordination issues, she says, but she's not sure if it's a strongly associated symptom.

"Imagine," I reply, "if I actually had a reason for my clumsiness. Finally, vindication."
